Sobek didn't run, no he didn't even jog. He was merely walking, walking and watching the humans. He wasn't a fan of running (being a crocodile and all) he rather enjoyed his walks. And this appointment with the other gods, whatever it is they will discuss, is not worth the haste. Either way, the goal to return to their rightous power is a hard dream to accomplish. It wouldn't just do to kill someone or bribe another god. No, it would take time and dedication to reach it. At least to Sobek it felt like this. The only way to reach his dreams has always been the careful and slower, more proper, way. It is not like he dislikes plain fights over dominance he likes them actually. It is just in his nature to wait for the right time to close his jaws around his opponent and drag them under the water. Only to rip them to shreds afterwards. For that to happen he needed to be wise in his decisions and have a calm mind about it. He wasn't without a reason known to be a violent god, his patron animal made sure of that. Eat or get eaten had always been the way of a crocodile and if you were rash you might not get something to eat. It is in every carnivours genes to wait before striking, not that different to Sobek.

So he strolled through the city towards the place that kept calling him. The humans around him made way for the gardener, not wanting to be all that close to him. He appeared big for them with his height of around 6'3 feet. It was just in his genes and japanese people were known for being small. Or maybe they were just staying clear of him because of his attire. Sobek didn't really like the aspects of clothing. In this age, the clothing were to tight and he didn't like it. In ancient egypt was it normal to walk around nearly half-naked. Only loose and thin slacks, a bit of jewelry and that was it. Easy to carry on your body and not stuffy or tight. Sobek missed these times so he decided to stick with easy clothing. His gardener overall would do. It wasn't perfect but the best that Sobek found till now. So yeah, people probably avoided him because of that.

After a few minutes, it was probably half an hour, he arrived at his destination. A 'night club' as he had heared. At times he decided to explore the human world and he learned about the ways that human seeked pleasure. One of them being a night club to dance, drink or maybe get a bit of company for the night. Though he knew it, he never was in one. Due to the loss of his powers he wasn't really interested in sex or the like. It just didn't seem the right time till now. Don't get me wrong. The god was obviously known to be a high sexual being but Sobek did know the times and places to do so. And having sex when he was missing over two thirds of his power might not be a good enough time. He might consider it now though, since it seemed like his days of trying feverly to raise his powers might be over. He would see. So without further ado he made his way inside the night club.

It didn't take long for the guards to pick up his presence and of course stop him. "Hey you. You may not get in here in that outfit." one of the guards, the bulkier one with probably less brain, said to him. It was cute, he probably wanted to appear tuff and all but with the smaller height it was just cute to Sobek. Never mind the muscles, Sobek would still win. Yet he decided to play along. "I'm sorry. Seems like i misplaced my proper attire to walk into a sex club." he snorted with a easygoing smile. Of course the answer didn't sit well with the guard. He began screaming and would probably have raised a hand against him. If not for the smaller, but probably smarter, guard next to him.

"You have business here?" - "Do i? Yeah i might." - "What is it your here for?" - "Your boss called me. Said something about business." - "....very well. You may pass."

The shorter of the three stepped away and 'dragged' the bulkier one after him. And just like that, Sobek was alone again. It seemed like the smaller one knew something but Sobek didn't dwell all that long. He made a beeline for the stairs. Screw the elvator, Sobek didn't trust a moving piece of junk. He'd rather take the long and exhausting way. Not long and he heared talking (rather loud talking he might add) and made his way towards the door. It was a grand door, sealed shut to not allow anyone in. Sobek could make a grand entrance....or not. The crocodile god wasn't one for such senseless actions. So no yelling or throwing the door in or the like. No, just plain and stupid opening the door with his hands.

With careful steps and the thought about not getting to close he stopped a few feet behind the three other gods (he could just smell it okay?). "You are the one that called me- or rather us, right? What is it you wanted the talk about Mr.-" here he stopped. He didn't know the others name and waited for the god to tell him. Sobek wanted to know who he was dealing with after all. For a short while, his gaze flew over the other gods. Two of which he knew since they were from egypt too. One of them even being Seth. He wasn't surprised actually, he often had something to do with the other gods in acient egypt but they never really talked he guessed. But whatever, family or friendship wasn't written in bold letters when you are a god. Especially a egyptian one.

Dionysus wisely kept silent during the exchange between the two gods. Athena was already pissed at him, and he knew it wasn't a good idea to piss her off even further, though his interest was piqued as he studied Thoth. He knew in a round about way who he was, but the details of why he was cast down with the rest of them was still mystery. Athena disappeared in a huff leaving the two of them alone.

"Wine you say?" Dionysus smiled, "Why, that's my specialty..." there was a glass bottle of water on the table and with a fingertip and a little bit of power, the water slowly changed from the clear liquid it was to a deep, dark red wine. "I'll think you'll find that it is a most excellent vintage..."

The door crashed open and another individual entered the room with a menacing air. Dionysus raised an eyebrow as Seth snatched the bottle of newly formed wine off his desk and drank the lot, the dark fragrant liquid splashing down the sides of the God's mouth, crimson droplets staining the carpet . "I'll doubt you'll find that the "Jade Emperor" had access to a vintage as fine as this one" Dionysus commented dryly, only slightly perturbed at the intrusion. "I take it he's one of yours?" he asked Thoth with a sardonic smile as Seth plonked himself down in one of the chairs in the room. Dionysus was about to say something else when the door opened yet again; another figure entering the room, quietly taking a seat, only uttering the words, "Dionysus, I decided to join too..."

A wide smile broke across Dionysus face. It seemed that his call had succeeded. With all of them together, they had a much better chance of returning the heavens, though with this much power at his disposal, he very nearly didn't want to. The door crashed open yet again; his brother Ares striding into the room, filling it with his presence. "You called me Dionysus, why? And why was the bitch here, of all the gods?" he rumbled at him. "Dionysus, dear Carus, you have some serious explaining to do" Dionysus waved a hand at his brother, "That's the easy bit. You're all here because I called, and right now, I'm the only one with any serious power. I'll do all the explaining that needs to be done, once everyone get's here... IF they get here..."

The door opened almost timidly and another figure made it's way into the room on quiet feet. "You are the one that called me- or rather us, right? What is it you wanted the talk about Mr.-" Dionysus blinked a few times, "Mister?" he laughed, "I'm certainly not a mister. However, it seems that introductions may be in order. I am Dionysus, God of drinking, drugs, fucking and just plain old debauchery. I can introduce Ares over there as my brother, and fellow God of War and Chaos. The quiet gentleman over there is Hypnos, God of Sleep... but i'm afraid Thoth may have to do the other introductions..."

His shoulders relaxed against the seat he took; eyes adjusting to the room's comfort. He adopted a pretty relaxed expression in the company of the wine god. Thirsty for some fine dryness of red liquid, his pupils though averted to side. It was only natural to feel his own flesh and blood, no powers were requested for such a notice. As expected, the door was abruptly opened and a pretty heavy atmosphere was brought in.

" I shall be damned.", he thought with a lift of hand to pinch the patch of skin between his fine brows. It was Seth. Some spoke that Seth was one of Thoth's parents, however Ra refused to acknowledge the fact. Thoth had a rather important role in Egypt, thus he was called the 'parent-less god'. But some gods mocked him for he had no mother, but many fathers. Not like Thoth cared though.

As he expected, the god of chaos completely devoured the liquor as greedy as he was. The god of wisdom stayed silent. Seth and Thoth were the completely opposites. One would see them rather as fire and water. But as much as have to be admitted, despite the danger fire could alarm, water could calm any flame and make its way through any rock as long as the will was overwhelming. And of course, of course, Seth had to tease Thoth with the 'moonless' night thing. The god of the moon flattened his gaze as averted chin slightly to side; how he disliked the arrogance of Seth.

I take it he's one of yours?

Dionysus guessed it right. And Thoth needed not to admit, his expression was enough of answer. With his lips parted to speak, the god of wisdom got disturbed again. Another god appeared. And then another. And then... another. Thoth's mind wandered around, while the rest of the gods were in a very intense 'pressure dance'. Each of them seemed to ooze a certain degree of their powers, as to make their appearance, of course. Some seemed to know a bit about the other; some seemed to hear or see the rest for first time. Thoth rested his cheek's side against the knuckles of hand, to guide the weight of his head; his neck seemed a bit stiff. Probably due to the powers he forced on Athena, when he knew very well he should saved them for it was a moonless night.

"Moonless night..", his eyes deepened the gaze of a judging god such he was.

"Speaking truly, I might have put them in a danger right now. Apep must know already where I am and what I did. If so, the easiest way to find this place...", his eyes ran across, reaching for the distanced window, "Interesting."

but i'm afraid Thoth may have to do the other introductions...

The god of wisdom stood tall with his stature, shoulders still relaxed. His gaze somehow dark. Something wasn't exactly to his taste, but heck one to guess what it was.

- I am afraid I have to part from today's party. Please, do excuse my sudden rudeness. - a nod of chin, his aristocratic manners were smooth and flawless.

- I believe you'll have that whole, pretty night to get to know each other. I am sure you will find common things.

With that being said, he parted. Apep felt too close. And the illusion of moonless night was a weakness not only for Thoth. When he couldn't illuminate or speak the truth or prevent danger with his wisdom; he didn't want to screw up their only ticket to returning 'home'. Besides that, he knew some more gods were out there. If Kronos was to do something tonight or Apep was to try finish off Thoth, they'd find Dionysus and the rest. The best choice rather than beckoning the predators in their 'safe place'.

Oi… hello there doc, and who would ever thought that the man who craves death would now have a passion to save lives, how ironic

He heard someone speaking behind him as he snapped back at reality. The teasing tone was not so familiar to him as the voice was really new or probably-- he'd just had forgotten it. The fact that he lays minimal interest to other beings aside his siblings made Hades frown as he turned his head towards the one talking. The stranger who was casually talking to him like he was an old friend made him frown a bit.

Brows furrowed, the dark-haired male observed the other from his feet up to the tip of his head. As he could deeply focus, he slowly see a dark aura hovering behind the man. It was disturbingly the same as his, the same kind gloomy aura; an aura of dread.

"Anubis." He reconfirmed as the male had a slight notion of nodding. The little effort to speak was usually Hades' way of saying, 'back off.' or 'stay away'. It's no good seeing both remnants of Death gathered in one place. It's not some kind of a joke was it? Like the both of them should join hands and screw everything by absorbing all the human souls. That idea might make them strong but it would definitely destroy the cycle of the living. The paths would be completely distorted if they'd do so... Hades wasn't weak it just comes to the situation that no one had worship him nor fear him anymore.

But the way Anubis was also here, in a human form, means that he's also a victim of that God's play. Even Egyptian Gods was of no exception to such disaster. The male didn't waste his time to converse with the other party. He's a one-man team after all; he could do things the way he pleases. Besides, camaraderie nor teamwork are not of his likes.

Though the Greek God wanted to test which of both of them was more powerful, him or that Egyptian God? He just shrugged his shoulder.

"---" he bowed as a sign of respect to the other and left him for good. He's best unnoticed, he thought.

Seth adjusted himself on the unfamiliar soft chair, he couldn't stop his own eyes from leering around the room, such strange interior decor caught his attention while the God of Wine talked to him. "Of course the Jade Emperor doesn't have his access to such vintage. Since the most part of his Elixir were made from rice, he brewed it for millenniums only for the Peach Banquet.". Seth was finally satisfied his curiosity and now looked at Thoth and Dionysus as he spoke to them.

'Dionysus, I decided to join too...'

Seth's lips parted as he was about to say something, another god came - Hypnos - brother of Thanatos, Seth knew him, well Seth actually had a wide acquaintanceship on other gods around the cosmo, he was named the god of foreigner for a reason. The God of Sleep was timid and seemed to be rather cute, especially, the knitted hat with kitty ears he was wearing. Seth liked it, so he'd be silent about it just so he could looked a bit more.

Until another god came in with fury, it wasn't a surprise however to see Ares being short-tempered, a bit like Seth really. But commenting on Ares wasn't his intention, too busy looking at Hypnos.

"You called me Dionysus, why? And why was the bitch here, of all the gods?"

"Dionysus, dear Carus, you have some serious explaining to do"

"You're always this, kitty-like cute, Hypnos?" he smirked and pointing on his head, mentioning about the hat. Hitting on other god but Seth has forgot his own "bloody" appearance, still covered in dried up blood.

"You are the one that called me- or rather us, right? What is it you wanted the talk about Mr.-"

And the last god to come in, was actually his own blood, his offspring, Sobek. The corners of Seth's lips curled up into a wicked smile, his own blood has grown into such a fine and fair being. "Aaahhhhhh my son. Are you coming here to join us? So we can go home". Even his own kin was so tempting to him, it'd take a LONGGGGG time to go home now.

Abruptly, Thoth wanted to leave, Seth shifted his gaze to him, knowing something was not nice was coming. Seth got up and prevent Thoth from going, not until he finished his words.

"Going so early, my dear Thoth?"

He leaned closer on the other, seemingly to be an sexual approach, but it was more of a disguise while he whispered to God of Wisdom himself "You do know where Apep is, don't you? If you're going to see him. I NEED to come along"

Even though He made out his way to personally greet the other party, well not really, he just came here for a refuel not to have merely chit chats with the other, even so it’s still rude to be ignored like that, especially to him he thought.

But he doesn’t want to escalate this tiny problem any further so it’s best to let it be calmly, He slightly curve his lips and a mocking sigh escaped from him

“Well is that how you escape reality? Ignoring other’s just like that to your full satisfaction? Heh” he snorted but didn’t bother to turn around to wait for a reply to the man any longer, well he didn’t felt like pursuing the other, if it didn’t even had any slightest interest to do so.

He slides his finger tips on a wide glass window, with sleeping and crying infants on the other side, while he walks away from the meeting scene

“Newborns huh?... As easy as they came, as easy as they get corrupted, how… terribly sad” as he said that, his finger tips touched another surface, he finally came into contact with a wall, leaving the glass window with newborns on the other side.

He rubbed both of his hands then readjusted his cap, the aura of something awful is lingering though, he doesn’t even want to recognize it as a floating existents within his range meters, even so he continued going for the exit of the hospital which is also the entrance, leaving the other god behind, since he already have his refuel for the day, that’s what he came here for anyway.

He placed both of his hands onto his pants pocket, making the chains and the stuff toy looking bunny, but it’s a dog make a noise all together, but clinging noises such as that calm his nerves, he love it when glasses hit together, when chains clings together, when marbles sprawls over to the marmalade floors, and other echoes which almost had the same sounds such as that.

Not that it matters though, that part was super random too, anyway with that kind of thoughts in mind, the glass looking door suddenly slides open, and just like how other people do it, he slip outside in the establishment, as if nothing happened.

=Arf!=

A huge dog with a golden fur, stood up in the far end street, near a lamp post stood up in fours, it also started wagging it’s tail, Anubis smiled and with a cheerful voice greeted both of his dogs, the other one though was all serious and was just sitting beside the other golden furred dog, while he looks at Anubis coming closer to their spot.

“Good boy good boy” he grinned and bend down on their level, then he started patting his cheerful dog

“I had my refill now shall we head home?~”

=Arf! Arf!=

The dog step backward then head forward while he keeps on wagging his tail

“well okay then, and I guess I wouldn’t be able to visit the ‘grand rendezvous ever’, or something like that”

The dog keeps on looking at him while continuously wagging his tail.

He looked at the dog then he smiled and narrowed his eyes while he adjusted his cap again and stood up, signaling his two dogs to go back now near the school, because there’s where his currently run down looking apartment is located as of the moment.

Once Hypnos sat down on a comfortable couch he looked around the place and of course he noticed the other gods. Seems like only him, Ares and Dionysus were the only Greek gods here. If he wasn't mistaken the others were Egyptians gods. Yes, Thoth, Sobek, and Seth. Thanatos once read a book to him about the Egyptians gods. Hypnos wouldn't leave the underworld easily so he hasn't met any of the other gods. He was going out when they had celebrations in Olympus, meetings with all the Greek gods or chasing his brother Thanatos not to leave his side when he was lonely. He tried not to make eye contact or stare at them.

' Ah...this is bad...I'm sleepy again and it's warm in here' Hypnos tried not to let the other gods see that he was sleepy. He didn't want to insult them. Even if he wanted to he wasn't strong enough to start a fight with them. Hypnos left his body loosen up and relax a little bit. Hypnos was looking forward to drink once again Dionysus's sweet wine. It was his favourite wine after all.

'Dionysus, I would like a cup of wine as well. Sweet, you know my tastes.'

While waiting for his cup to be filled he noticed that one of the gods was looking at him. That was Seth. Hypnos avoid his eyes and looked at Ares. He looked rather angry right now. He was so upset that Hypnos could feel his range.

'Ares, please relax. I'm sure Dionysus will explain us everything otherwise this meeting wouldn't have any meaning, right?'

"You're always this, kitty-like cute, Hypnos?"

'Wh- what are you saying? You are not better either with that look.'

Hypnos realized that he was still wearing his knitted cat ears hat. Embarrassed now he took it off as well as his coat.' Making fun of my hat....it's cute isn't it?' Hypnos thought while looking at it. He gave a look at Seth then his hat and again at Seth.'I like my hat' he finally said back to Seth.

As he said that his mind got distructed by Thoth, one of the engyptians gods was leaving. He stared at him. Dionysus didn't even explain why he called them here and he is leaving like nothing serious happened. He thought that it was wrong. More and more gods would come and this is not a game. It's time to get serious. Such a mysterious god, he could feel his strange aura. Hypno's wanted to say that but he remained silent. He knew that Dionysus would do something about it. If not now then sure later on.

Ares' eyes widened at the dark haired god, squaring his shoulders and gritting his teeth. That was a pure insult, saying such things when Dionysus knew he held power. "The only one with serious power? Dear brother, what have you been doing in this world if you haven't noticed how rife war is in this day and age. You would be foolish if you thought my power not serious."

The other gods in the room did not so much concern him, but he knew that there were quite a few of the Egyptian heritage and this...for some reason bothered him. In Egypt, war had been something that was conducted over by their ruling gods as a council, they handled it together; the beings of death, destruction and rule all would sort it out together. Yet, he practically sorted out war himself (for reasons obvious, he did not count Athena in being an instigator, nor god of war. She was a goddess of wisdom, and strategy but truth be told, if any were to say Ares didn't know strategy, they would be sorely mistaken.

Dark eyes slid to Hypnos, and he gave him a low glare, before returning his eyes to the front, moving to step back, crossing his arms, a few sparks of gold still crackling around his hands. Hypnos had never been a favourite god of his, but he had always respected the man's power to calm. Calm was not his forte at all; force and rage was. As such, one who could calm and move soldiers into sleep...was one that he felt mixed emotions about. "Are we all here yet? I can only be patient," he shot a glance at Hypnos, "for so long."

Sobek stayed quite throughout the quarrel, he listened to the introductions. So the the being that has called for all of them is the god of sex, wine and feasts? Well, there he got a bit of a competition. Being also a god of sex (as you probably know) he was interested in the other. The different cultures saw gods differently. 'Sobek was the god of fertility, so not just a god of sex but also of nature. In ancient times he was able to make the water rise and fall and let the crops grow into healthy food. Because egypt was pretty humid and hot all year along he was workshipped like any other Egypt god. Yet Sobek was different. He wasn't a god of anything 'personal' for example the god of jugdement or death. No, he brought life forth and made things grow. In a way he was different than the other gods, that is why he wasn't seen as a treat because of his powers. That is why his connection with the most violent creatures in egypt, the crocodiles, is such a good advantage for him. Though his powers might not be strong anymore, his other form still is. Times have changed though so he could not react like he might have in the past. That is why he decided to stay silent and not anger any other god before him. As it probably is, he is the weakest of them all at the moment. The only useful thing right now is the power of protection that he could offer. Even in this time it was stil staying strong.

"Ahh, i see. Well, my name is Sobek if your interested to know. I will join your cause with everything i have." he added and made way for Thoth that appearently wanted to take matters into his own hands for now. It did not bother Sobek, as much as he wanted to leave the human world he didn't want to interact with other gods for to long. Nothing good has every come out of it when Gods stayed together longer than necessary. Fights were practically bound to happen sooner or later since all gods were stubborn in a sense. Nobody wanted to yield for the other. Sobek was also like that, he didn't like be pushed around just because he is weaker this time. The difference was that the crocodile god know when to strike and when not and though he didn't like it he would accept to work with the other gods. This goal they try to accomplish is impossible to do alone. So he guessed all of them needed to respect the other gods to a certain degree for now.

He watched how the other gods talked to each other. He wasn't talkative so he didn't bother to start a conversation.

"Aaahhhhhh my son. Are you coming here to join us? So we can go home"

This voice was all to familiar to him. It wasn't a surprise that Seth would say something about him comming to this meeting. Like before, family didn't matter under gods. It was a pointless conection that would dissapear over the years. Yet it seemed like his 'father' was really keen on showing him who was the older, wiser and stronger god of them. In Sobek's 'family' it was basically normal that they hated each other. Though he did not have anything personl against Anubis but he would rather stay as far away as possible from his brother. Crocodiles and jackals didn't go well with each other after all. "....i have come to join yes. But i have no intention to return home with you, 'father'. Why don't you go and ask Anubis if he wanted to return with you?" he mocked, clearly delighted about the fact that Seth wasn't as strong as he has been in the past. Though he was probably still stronger than him, a bit of mockery had always been normal in that family. It was commonly known that gods even flirted with their own kin. Incest was a common thing among gods in egypt and usually everyone was fucking around with each other. Maybe that is why the mostly can't stand each other. But what did he know, he only knew that he didn't want to become yet another plaything for Seth.

Dionysus had to smile at the ragtag group of Gods. Each supposedly in control of their own specialised niche, but only he and possibly Ares had amassed any worthwhile power. He got up from his chair, walking over to the glass fridge in the corner of the room to pull out a bottle of water, sitting it on his desk once more. He touched it with a finger, watched the momentary glow of power as the water slowly changed into a deep red colour. He poured the newly formed wine into glasses, indicating that the others should help themselves if that's what they wanted to do.

He gave a congenial smile to those assembled around him and began, "Well, I'm sure that there will be plenty of time to get to know each other properly later, and I'm sure that most of you are already familiar with each other in one form or another. Basically the upshot of this little meeting is: As much as I love it here, and quite frankly, I have more power than I know what to do with sometimes, I miss my home and I'm sure the rest of you do as well. I want to go home. I don't really know what my grandfather Kronos was up to, I have no idea why it was us and not someone else, but I'm sure we're going to find out along the way..." He took a swallow from his own glass and licked his lips, "Drink up, you'll not find another vintage like it ever again..." he said with a wink.

He gave a wink to his brother Ares, "Your power is plenty serious brother, but as the hippies say, make love, not war... and if we want to get serious about it, for once, I have more power than you, millions of people all over the world fuck with abandon, get drunk and high on psychotropic drugs..." he raised his glass in a mock salute, "... and it's all thanks to you dear brother. Without the despair that war brings, people wouldn't seek an escape; I am the God of "Nothing to Live For" after all."

He took another swallow from his glass, "But enough pissing, regardless of who has the power, the same thing remains, and that my dear friends, is getting home... It's going to be hard, it's going to be dangerous and there will be those who will stand opposed. My sister Athena already came for a visit, hissing and spitting like the hell-cat she is, and I can guarantee that there will be more, so it would be nice if we could all get along well enough to make it back home in one piece. If you feel that you can't do that, you're more than welcome to try make it on your own..."

He gave a crooked grin to those assembled in the room, "Any questions?"

Thoth made his way out the room, but felt the follow of Seth right behind. It wasn't remarkable on the part of the chaos' god. He was rather curious and if anything bad there was about it, that would be the rushed decisions and impatience he threw like free lunch. On other hand, Thoth was the complete opposite.

The moon god's eyes gestured to side when his torso span around along with the rest of his body, to find Seth in a very cornering gesture. The other god had Thoth against body, cheek to cheek.

You do know where Apep is, don't you? If you're going to see him. I NEED to come along"

It didn't make much sense to the god of wisdom. Some of the present gods had quite the power right now and as of the moonless night, Thoth was supposed to be the weakest god among them. Not to mention the forceful extraction of powers, when he chased Athena away. Then, why? Why Thoth was the only one who felt Apep raging powers wandering on Earth? It was burning his bones and each cell of blood in his veins, so well he felt Apep's presence.

The god of wisdom slid eyes close,

"Ah. So it's like that..", he thought with no hesitation. So Apep did it on purpose and it was just like an invitation only for one. The moon god didn't have much time and all these thought crashed into his mind. The more he made Seth wait, the less patient the other could get. He knew two things for certain;

First, Apep hated Thoth for many reasons, but mostly because of envy.

Second, Apep wouldn't kill Thoth until he could get some of the extensive knowledge the god of wisdom obtained. Even if he was caught, he wouldn't be killed right away. However, if he brought someone..,it felt like a threat.

- Aye. And I planned to save it for someone else. - his eyes gestured to slide open, averting pupils to side, - Say, Seth. Do you know why I've survived so far during moonless nights?

His lips curved a velvet grin, jaw line movement caressed the other god's cheek as Thoth titled head to side to get even closer, - Because the moon protects me, of course.

The moon god reached hand while talking, he caressed gently Seth's strands of silky hair. It wasn't a surprise to be gentle and kind. In fact, he was one of the most kindest gods in Egypt.

- You all have to stay together and find Anubis and Hades. - each next word of his started to sound as if spoken from somewhere far. The god was vanishing before the god of chaos. The final source of his powers he planned to save for extreme situation, yet he gave it up to save Seth's impatient ass.

- And don't drink too much, Seth. Dionysus has nasty habits. - the echo of his chuckle filled the place.

**

Just when he finally set his foot on ground, his long coat ruffled by the European wind which felt so different from Egyptian one, Thoth's eyes switched to anything but kind eyes.

The current city he transferred was far from Greece. The night was already fallen, he felt so cold and tired. What a dark night it was.

- It's rude to stand behind one's back, Apep. - with hands jabbed in his coat, Thoth commented.

- And I thought I could at least surprise you, Thoth.

- Surprise me? Please, you tend to use backdoor whenever you want to give me a checkmate. - both of the gods went sarcastic and the tension could be felt.

- So you were just another fool. If you knew, why didn't you bring them along? - Apep started moving, circling around Thoth.

- Bring them? I am afraid I can't quite catch on.

- Acting stupid never suited you. I know you met the other gods; in fact, you surprised me, Thoth. You are not one to take sides. How come you took their side? Could it be...you are afraid of me? - the snake god laughed in a disgusting manner.

- Fear you? - Thoth moved a foot to side, to twist body and face the other god, - Fear knows no admiration, it's the admiration itself. Don't flatter yourself so much, Apep.

- And here I thought we could be friends for once. But I don't need weaklings. Look at you, so worn out. You can't even escape, what to be said about fight me. You are indeed a fool.

- I understand why Ra never allowed you to take over the underworld.

- Beg your pardon? - Apep flicked a brow.

- Your greed and envy can disturb even the dead, Apep. You are too evil for the dark world.

- Ahahahahahaha...,can you even hear yourself!? Darkness knows only the brutal and evil way. It's you who shouldn't have been entrusted with the book of the Dead!

- Ah, so it was about the book of the Dead? - the moon god made a few steps forth, - Could it be you want to bring someone back to life? - Thoth mocked on the other. Despite his tight situation, the moon god wouldn't surrender.

- ... - Apep thrust his hand, stabbing Thoth in the ribs with the poisonous toxic his fingers had, - You are so damn annoying, Thoth. I've wanted to do that for so long. But rest assured, sadly this won't kill you. It will just put your conscious to sleep. I have another plans for you. - so said, he retreated his hand, watching the warm, crimson liquid as it was the rain of joy.

- Heh.. - frowning at the pain, but not giving away how tearing the feeling was, Thoth chuckled out of breath.

- What is so funny?

- I wonder...who is the fool, Apep. - glancing up from his slightly bent posture, the moon god knew very well that any harm done to the scribe of the underworld the gods of the darkness and shadows would feel the sorrow off the dead souls. Most likely, Anubis, Osiris, Sokar, Amset, Horus, Isis, Seth, Hades, Pluto, Kore and even Ares could feel the shift of darkness and the screams of shadows.

- You are truly annoying. - with the final kick made into Thoth's stomach, Apep put the moon god into unconscious sleep. And so the moon mourned for its master being dragged into the pit of Hell; the underworld.

Nonchalance. It was his usual lack of concern that drives some of them to conclude that he's boring. The fact that Anubis had read him like he was an open book annoyed him a bit. The air of arrogance that occupied every speeches of the latter made his nerves visible on the hear. Even Hades himself was stricken with surprise that he was simply outwitted by an Egyptian God. Couldn't supplement a witty retort, his gaze just wondered outside the glass window on his left. He didn't really need to explain every bits of this and that to Anubis.

" So what would you expect me to do?" It wasn't sarcasm but a real question as to what he's supposed to do. He really didn't need a plan, he preferred observing than hastily attacking an unknown enemy. It was the best method for him--gathering information was his expertise.

Hades just watched Anubis caressing the newborns as he hovered wall by wall, his sight never left the Egyptian God of Death. He wanted to approach him but it could wait some other time he so thought.

Fixing his glasses, all Hades could think was about that meeting. He snapped his fingers as he tried to summon the crow who was surveying the neighboring town. Its dark wings fluttered swiftly as it come to his summon immediately. The creature's crimson eyes were plastered at his master's face who was gazing at the cloudy skies.

"Lord , it seems that Zeus had known of your situation. By the looks of it, he's gonna intervene---"

"Kael, make sure he won't. Don't let him even step outside Mt. Olympus. I can handle this by myself." He explained to the crow that's settling at the branch of a tree. Hades really hated that side of Zeus, the annoying side of him who always makes fuss about other's problems. The Greek God couldn't even be at ease just thinking of Zeus' unmethodical ways of settling problems. He was completely out of his control--he's just overly the top, Hades thought.

Even with a heavy heart, Hades could still hope that people would worship him somehow. Just them remembering his name for at least would strengthen him a bit.

"*sigh" crestfallen he returned to his office... It was nerve-wrecking for a God like him to think of a plan to regain everyone's faith and most likely fear. Indeed, he's in the century where fear isn't the only thing needed to survive...

Seth, while he was still waiting for The God of Truth to reply to his words. His attention was taken by the God of Sleep. He seemingly to have taken off the kitty ears knitted hat along with his coat. Seth burst a secret chuckle with Hypnos's cute reaction to Seth's previous statement and minded not of Hypnos sarcastic comments on his own look. He leaned his head far away from Thoth to have a better look at Hypnos. Finally he spoke to the other

"It's good that you like your hat. You look cute" A corner of his mouth curled up into a grin as he winked at Hypnos.

Seth was still grinning, until his offspring spoke back to him. As expected, Sobek mocked and asked him in sarcasm

"....i have come to join yes. But i have no intention to return home with you, 'father'. Why don't you go and ask Anubis if he wanted to return with you?"

It was somewhat of a habit that every single member of Seth's family didn't seem to like Seth at all, and the mention of Anubis remind him that Seth himself tried to kill Anubis when he was younger. How odd? It's been millenniums since that event. Even the God standing in front of him, Thoth, had the chance to be one of his offsprings as well. Which mean he could be Thoth's father... or mother. Maybe he shouldn't have fucked around too much.

"Awww... Too bad, my son. I really hope WE can go home TOGETHER"

While speaking, sometimes he still got the voice of Ares and his fury toward The God of Wine, Dionysus. It's funny that they spoke of chaos and disorder, measuring their power based on them, without knowing that the God of Chaos was standing right there. Everything they named all benefit Seth, they would never know. He shook his head, smirking.

Seth's attention once again shifted back to Thoth. His brows met each other when the other refused to take him along to see Apep. His temper was raising slowly by the minute. How could Thoth forgot Seth WAS the protector of Ra, it's Seth himself the repelled Apep away. He hated when he's rejected, also when Thoth tried to be all fancy with his so wise words. Before he even realized it, the other has vanished into mid-air. How could he disappeared from Seth, he wasn't finished with him, and even warned him about Dionysus with his nasty habit. Noone did that to him, never. NEVER.

Seth in his anger, broke the sofa nearest to his right hand. "How DARE him disappeared?!"

Hypnos looked at Seth again. Staring staring...why is he even staring at him. Didn't he had enough? He felt embarrased and he couldn't calm down. That was enough to wake up the god of Sleep, make him feel uneasy. It was not easy for him to read others minds, he was bad at it indeed. He could tell though that Seth had something in mind.'Ah! He wants my knitted hat! Never!' Hypnos hold his hat tightly on his delicate hands. He knew that he was acting like a kid now. There is no way he would do that. He is just messing around with him.

"It's good that you like your hat. You look cute"

''You....you can't call a god cute.''

Hypnos said while trying to act tough. He grapped the glass with the wine, drunk some of it and then he was playing with his thumbs. Sometimes he was lookng at him with a fast glimpses. Hypnos was quite surprised. He was waiting the god of violence more aggressive, more like Ares. Then he gave a look at Ares. He wanted to reply to his comment.

"Are we all here yet? I can only be patient, for so long."

''Yes, Ares. It is known that the word patience is missing from your vocabulary. Quite a shame since the god of war might get hasty and lose.''

That was one kind of comment that would tottaly make Ares angry but he didn't care about that. He didn't care much if Ares were to get angry though. He always thought of him as the loud one of all gods. Hypnos wouldn't stand leaving with him. In every gather in Olympus he was always shouting and make a mess. But right now they aren't in one of Olympus festivals, they were on earth with no powers. They don't have time to act foolish. They were gathered here to take answers, a plan to get back to where they belong and they will! On the other hand it was weird that Ares wants to go back. He is not in a bad position here in this world. Humans are still big fans of war.

''What is the plan Dionysus?''

Hypnos was getting serious. He wanted to know if he was wasting his time here. He was ready to start questioning Dionysus about what they were going to do but then he felt the atmoshere heavy. Seth showed his true colours now. 'God of violence', he didn't got that tittle for no reason. He could feel his anger. Hypnos stayed calm at his sit, only watching.

A loud creak escaped from the pleading old wooden door to be fixed already, even so it doesn’t really bother him that much, all of the unpredictable sounds that his old apartment was making was just normal to him, maybe because this things snaps him back to reality better.

As he entered inside, all kinds of dog breeds, with different sizes, colors and shapes started gathering around him like mad flock, started sniffing him all around while wagging there weird tails altogether, they even sniffed the other dog with a golden fur, perhaps to greet it as well, but even if that’s the case, they ignored the sharp black dog, as it entered quietly then curls up in the dark corner of the room.

“uhuh did you stayed obediently and silently the whole time?” a slight grin showed in his face as he said those words, playful, cheeky and cheerful tone kind of voice, while he speak to all of them, but never stopping his foot to go get into the nearest corner of the room, it’s not as if his apartment has a lot of furniture to begin with, maybe the only thing he has was the necessary and less bothersome stuff to attend to.

His foot creak in the wooden floors, but soon enough he reached a dim looking room, he entered it and slumps over immediately to the huge pile, more like a mountain of colorful, sometimes unidentified stuff toys all over, in fact this is the only room that was piled up with other cottoned filled child’s toy, most of it are wrapped in bandages, but really the bandages are all over the room, not that he cared though, he’s a bit of a neat freak but his very own room was always unclean because of the fluffy things scattering around.

He just slump there, pulled his cap off, letting his long hair, scatters flat in his back, all of his dogs started going after him afterwards, then they curls one by one near him, they are in his side, in his lap, actually the dogs surrounded him, snuggling around him, one might think that this is a great way for natural heater in cold days even.

Anyhow as he settles down, leaning against the mountain top of stuff toys, he held out his palm, then suddenly the chains in his pants cripples up circling his arms up to the wrist until it completely formed a small circle into the thin air in front of him, and suddenly a beaming light started forming inside those chains, besides even if this chains looks like a fashion accessory today, this is what he uses to perfectly balance his scale especially during ‘Weighing of the Heart’ during rich days, it could also be a substitute for the staff he left in the other side, but of course his own staff is always the real deal, it is still more powerful then this chains dangling around him.

he narrowed his eyes, then he looked inside of his chain now in a form of circle, as a clear image started to appear before him

“tsk! This is the only thing I could do despite of what I collected for the past months… this way, going back is near to impossible already….”

While he thought about this the image already became clear, as it focuses to one man laying down, taking a very deep sleep in a golden bed full of mesmerizing ornaments.

“father….” He looks at the clear image with eyes that tells no curses, but only compassion, but soon enough the mood was destroyed when a figure of a woman suddenly appeared in front of him

”Anubis! Your okay”

“You insolent, of course I’m okay, and don’t call my sacred name casually”

”well whatever”

“you… tsk anyway how was Osiris? Have you and the others been looking after him hourly?”

”well yeah but I don’t still get it why you’re doing this”

“shut it, don’t poke your noise in an important business, if you don’t want me to send you back where you belong”

”fine, and you don’t have to constantly repeat what you did, I know you took me on as servant, followers blah blah whatever-”

“ah enough! Stop being ill-mannered towards me then you already have before I pull on my wrath on you, ahem.. Anyhow what’s the current situation in there while I’m gone?”

”well I do not know the details but Isis was umm… how could I describe it.. She’s in a pissed off state…”

“In short, she’s causing misfortunes and havoc again. Tsk! She should be the goddess of misfortunes instead, I still couldn’t take it to heart that she was mother’s twin sister, my mother, Nephthys, has a loving nature while her, it makes me vomit to even describe it, sigh… nothing I could do about it though she was Osiris wife after all”

”well you have it tough there but I was wondering when will you comeback, we couldn’t maintain duties over here like the kind of line of work you do, every single day here”

“I’m not still sure but I’m working on it… how bad the situa-“ suddenly the connection between the human world and the other world had been cut off when the chains suddenly snap and dropped to the wooden floor with a loud thud.

“….. darn…” he narrowed his eyes and furrowed his eyebrows

“The accumulated strength for today had been drained so quickly…” he looked at his palm while saying that, then his other hand reach out to the nearest dog near him and petted it

“I should really change my tactics, working alone would be tough…. And also, disobeying the higher rank would be bad enough…”

He closed his eyes and sighed again, but this time it’s a sigh of relief of something

“At least the one who killed father is also trapped in this same pitiful human land with the other gods such as me… that way I could still-”

he hold his tongue for the next cursing words he could muster, how could he think this way, a god of embalming, cemetery, life and death, and also a god of scales who weighs the truth, who looks into peoples hearts, how could he think something so disgusting like killing, how disgraceful.

in frustration he hold his forehead with his whole palm, what is happening to him he wondered to himself, is it because he's been in the human world far to long, that he also thinks like them right now, that he's also adopting human emotions right now, the disgusting side of humans, corrupted and sinful, he had seen it all for the past years more then he could remember. Now he himself was experiencing it, he's never disappointed to himself until now.

"how disgusting.... i really need to return back...."

"Hypnos..." Ares murmured, sharp eyes sliding to find his form again, humming low in his throat. The anger seemed to well up at the mere word 'lose' but he stepped back once, settling him with a glare that could sink ships. His power thrummed just under his skin, but not maliciously; just in warning. Now was not the time to lose himself, as cliche as it was considering the previous insult, but he turned his eyes towards Dionysus, smiling just slightly, wolfishly. "You should be very careful of what you say. God or not...you are by far not the strongest in this room. My patience is limited...but it is there most definitely. I do not take kindly to such insults."

Hypnos was far from his favourite god as well; he understood the god's purpose, and his power...yet it was a weak excuse really. Guardian of dreams, bringer of sleep. Humans do not need such coddling, they are destructive, despicable beings and that was how they should be. It was up to the gods to guide. They were not there to make their lives peaceful. They were there to be worshipped, and in turn give power and ideal to them. If that led to peace, it was by the humans own hand. Bringing sleep and good dreams was a direct interference...not that Ares was particularly one to talk, but he was not too fond of that when it was something so petty.

Deciding that for now, he would not address the others, he stalked around the desk, moving to rest one knee on the side of Dionysus' seat, throwing an arm around the high backed thing, his fingers brushing his brothers shoulder. "Your plan, Dionysus? We are all very eager to hear it."

Sobek sighed at the hints his father dropped. Truth be told, he never saw the other as a father or rather anything close to a family. As the tradition had it, the 'kids' soon left after birth or get exiled from their parents. It wasn't uncommon and though it wasn't obvious, Sobek was also cast away like a old unused toy. Gods didn't need a family, yet it would make things much easier if the had at least some sort of education instead of none. It took hundreds of years for Sobek to be able to wield his power like he can now. He didn't even understood his purpose till he met Osiris...or what was left of her at that time. So Seth practically hit on a random god. Blood ties may exist but they are by no means related. It just showed in their bickering everytime they met. It was almost impossible for Sobek to handle Seth's personality. Tiring even, so he averted his eyes and didn't reply. The god took a glass of the wine Dionysus brew instead.

He reached for the wine and took a long sip. After wards he made his way behind one of the sofas. He leaned on the backrest and didn't bother with interacting with the other gods right now. A good wine was enjoyed best in silence. At least to Sobek, he couldn't wait to lay near the Nile water again, eat a few fruits and drink delicious wine. And occasionally the offerings to him. Yeah those were nice times. He really longed to return to them. He let his mind wander and ignored the quarrel going on between the other gods. As long as he could return to those nice times than he didn't care how often they got into a fight or something. But something was weird. It felt like a part of his memories were missing. Actually, the day when he met Osiris is rather blurry. He couldn't remember what he did, yet along what happened afterwards. It was like a large chunk had been ripped out of his memories. But when? Sobek would have noticed if someone was altering his memories. When and who did it? His grip on the glass tightened and it was near cracking. Yet he was able to come down from his anger high with a long and deep sigh. It was no use getting angry now, he could tear the culprit apart when the time comes.

Dionysus raised an eyebrow and tsked as Seth broke his couch. "Really?" He said, his voice dripping is sarcasm, "supposedly all the powers of the world at your disposal and the best you can do is break my couch?" He turned to face his brother Ares who had slid his arm around the back of his chair and had leaned in close. He knew his brother was attempting to be intimidating, but for once it wasn't going to work with him. "I'll be blunt brother, right now, this very second, I am the strongest person in this room, if the rest of you were as strong as you claimed to be, then you would've found a way to go home already, and that includes you" He smiled sweetly up at Ares, "You can get as angry as you like, you can no more kill me than I can kill you, on the other hand, you'll be stuck in this godforsaken hell, and I won't be. I don't have to help you..." he turned and addressed the rest of the room, "... in fact, I don't have to help any of you, Gods of any particular deity aren't known for being particularly helpful, but I miss my home, and I'm sure the rest of you do as well. The only reason I'm offering this is because my "family" are responsible for your predicament. I am the God of outcasts, and that, my fellows, is exactly what we are right now."

It was hard to put his plan into words, and Thoth's disappearance and Seth's subsequent outburst had somewhat distracted him, it irked him just a little that there seemed to be so much interference with their lives. He hadn't yet deciphered Kronos' true purpose for casting them out. Was this one of the games that the Gods so liked to play on each other? Or was there something bigger than all of them at work? All he knew that was that he'd been cast out once before, an Age ago and he'd made it back, this time he'd do the same, with or without the help of his fellow outcasts. He stood slowly, "To be honest, part of the plan just poofed, so I would hazard a guess to say that the first thing we need to do, is get Thoth back. I know that there are two more of us out there, and they're the ones we need to find. If Thoth is in the underworld, which is where I think he's gone, then we're going to need their help to get him back..."

"Did you hear about it?"

"About what?"

"Thoth is back!"

"What?"

"But I thought he was a cast away!"

"Apparently Apep brought him back by force."

"Wasn't Apep the one who cast him away?"

"I suppose this is what you call 'stab in the back'."

"Yeah, you bet he needed Thoth weakened."

"It's a moonless night!"

"I pity Thoth."

"Shhhh! Someone is coming!"

Shadows shifted and the dark corridor leading to a huge gate knew the echo of slow paced steps. The male paused before the gate, his slit pupils eyed the ornaments of snakes engraved into the metal - Apep really enjoyed his time. He seemed in no hurry. Understandable though, as soon as the gate opened before its master, the sight of the chained Thoth illuminated the evil god. What a joy sparkled into his eyes; seeing Thoth tortured by his snake pets, it was indeed his best day.

- Awake? - his voice followed the creak of the closing gate, Apep seemed to mock on Thoth in any way possible. Even if it meant to be silent and just go on grinning like a freak. For some reason he thought Thoth would break soon, to reveal a part of the book of the Dead; that part existed only in Thoth's head. Like the most important secrets, they wouldn't be written anywhere, but sealed in one's mind.

- Haa.. - the god of wisdom lifted his chin, although found it hard with the snake curled around his neck, abusing over and over again the god's skin. He was allowed to breathe whenever the snake felt like loosening muscles.

- Ah~; it must be hard to breathe, hm? -Apep resumed his slow paced walking, clasping hands together from behind back. His long hair brushed against cheeks, as he leaned forth to meet Thoth's eyes,

- Come on~ Make some sound; scream, beg, cry...whatever it is. I thought you were more amusing, but somehow you look like a pretty boring guy.

The moon god stared calmly at Apep, his lips slightly flinched once the snake squeezed the air out of him; how annoying was that cold and rough to touch sensation around his neck. The snake seemed to follow its master's wishes. Thoth slid his eyes close, not in mood to watch that annoying face before him. For god's sake, he swore if his arms were free he'd force that snake's heart out of the chest, and probably eat it. Although he was a kind god, he really had a twisted personality once annoyed - probably a trail he got from Ra..or might it be Seth? Not like he knew his parents (just some mere rumors), for he was the parent-less god.

- Hmmmmm - a wondering sound hummed around Apep's mouth, the nasal way of expressing some interest made Thoth frown; what was with that cold hand sneaking under his shirt!? The touch seemed to caress through the firmness of the front, heading downwards as traveled across the wound on chest..

- You are in such a bad shape, Thoth. I remember your body for its beauty and sexiness. Too bad I wounded it, eh? - Apep reached an ear, nuzzling into Thoth's cheek.

- Hah.. - the god of wisdom cracked a sarcastic ( though pretty sharply exhaled) sigh,

- Could it be... - his voice slightly hoarse, but still controlling the pitches despite the snake around neck, - ..you are in heat, Apep? - the moon god slid open his eyes, indifferently staring at the other.

- Well, I can't deny I always wondered how your flesh would taste. - a twisted smirk, one to wonder in what sense Apep meant that. While the eye-exchange gestures took place, the evil god forced the re-opening of the wound with his thumb after the hand traveled back up across Thoth's chest.

- Ngh... - a quick and tensed squeeze of jaw, Thoth was about to murder someone; his wrist went forcefully harsh against the chains, he felt like breaking the heck out of the metal.Too bad it was a moonless night.

- Ops? I am sorry. My finger just slipped. - a chuckle and two, Apep moved his hand away to lick the blood off his slender fingertips. - Aye, I've heard a lot about the moon god's blood. Is it true that it can serve both as a healing medicine and probably... - he eyed Thoth - ..aphrodisiac for the frigid ones? I always wondered how you enhance your reputation of being good at 'it'. Must be ANOTHER secret of yours, eh?

- My bad... - Thoth was allowed to breathe once again, so he used the opportunity to look up at Apep, - .. for that kind of a secret, you must lick on something else, Apep.

And there it went, the arrogance of the moon god. A loud echo of slap filled the room; Thoth's cheek was abused from a strong hit.

- Who would imagine that you could be so filthy. - Apep frowned.

- Aye, not even my mother. - a mocking on smirk danced upon his velvet lips.

"HADES.HADES.HADES." The crow that he dispatched moments ago returned to him as it landed softly at his left shoulder. The God of Death tilted, the crow rarely speak and that was new to him. Maybe something urgent did happen while it was dispatched somewhere.

"You need to go to 'that' place. You'll miss the fun if you aren't there!" It spoke as it flapped its wings comically.

"I don't need fun. Or should I go--" he glanced outside the window while eyeing the patients who are happily strolling the small garden behind the establishment.

Though Hades really hated the idea of gathering at that place. He was really in dire need of some information. Even dispatching some crow wouldn't be of great help to ease his burdens. He needed the knowledge of other Gods, other beings that are of the same kind like him. The male gave a huge sigh as he thought for a bit and finally came into a decision to gather together with them.

His arms stretched a bit as he snapped, a certain black door appeared at his front. The God of Death slowly opened such entrance, it was usually his common form of transportation. Then again, he decreased his power for such menial task which was nothing compared to before.

The door immediately led to a huge space which he was not familiar of. The black door appeared promptly at a wall as it opened and led him to the place, followed by dark mists barely crawling within his feet. Hades really didn't change his get-up; his long hair was in ponytail, with his unfashionable glasses and followed by his white lab gown. From a normal point of view, he seemed to look human except for the fog that was oozing from the door he summoned.

Crimson orbs replaced the obsidian ones as it stared at all the entirety of the room; keenly observing the inhabitants within. It did shock him a bit seeing powerful Gods who share the same fate as him. He really thought that it would be some minor Gods but they weren't. It really was a major problem, Hades thought as his eyes surveyed the Gods.

"...." As he said nothing and leaned at the wall where the black door slowly disappeared. Hades really looked so unapproachable. Nevertheless, it was a part of his nature and he couldn't really change it, well at least he knew.

Thoth disappeared... away from him and the rest of the god. He was unpleased at such action, however, as normality, letting his anger out on something always helped. He breathed slowly in and out and finally calmed himself. Slowly Seth drifted his eyes over to Hypnos, without a single word come out of his mouth and walked to him but suddenly he changed his direction a little to the side and seated himself next to Hypnos. He put his hand over the God of Sleep himself and leaned so close to the ear of the other, breathing hotly to it as he whispered with his now curled up into a smirk lips.

"How about we find out?... If I can call you cute or not?"

But then it wasn't long before someone said something to anger him again. It was like a competition of displeasing the God of Chaos to see if he'd burst like a pinata. But for the record in the past centuries, he held himself back from losing it. Seth parted his lips and replied arrogantly toward the God of Wine.

"You know what?... I'm going to let The Creator hold me back right now. Okay, Dyonisus? So are we going to find my OTHER son and Hades THEN get Thoth back... and probably massacre some deity in our way or not?"

The thought of killing pleased him a little bit. But his smiled did not last long, a black door opened and Hades made his way into the room, greeting noone, only scanning the room as he pleased, which was just... something normal for the God of Death. How lucky, now they only have to find Seth's other son and off they can go to to rescue... who would probably be his son as well... he scratched his head a little bit at that idea.

"Great. Speaking of the Death. Now we only have to find Anubis, right?" He looked over at Hypnos once again "Right? Dear god of sleep?

  • 3 weeks later...

As he expected, Ares spit his poison back to him. Hypnos was staring at him. Ares wasn't the type of God thay will bow down at someone else and admit defeat, such pride he was currying. Hypnos knew very well that his pride was more like a curse and not a benefit and he was sure that it will lead him to unfortunes. On the other hand his pride and strength protected Olympus from their enemies in difficult times.

"Cold aren't you? "

Hypnos gave a smile at Ares. It's not like he likes him or something. He thought that in hours like these they shouldn't fight each other over stupid things. He remained silent for the sake of all and let Ares believe that he won over this small "fight". Hypnos sigh and drunk some wine while he ley Dionysus reply to his brother properly for what he said. He could feel Ares' s anger.

On the other side Seth finally calmed down. After Dionysus showing his annoyance over his broken couch, before Hypnos realizing it Seth wad sitting next to him. He leaned so close to him that hid hot breath could reach his ear. Seth gave him a big smirk.

"Find out? Thete is nothing to find out. Don't call me cute!"

Hypnos tried to pull himself away from Seth who was so close to him but he couldn't. Seth's hand wouldn't let him. Hypnos blushed. He sat there and tried to ignore him. Then again Seth talked to him. Hypnos knew that he was staring at him. He felt like he would open a hole through him . Finally he looked at him.

"Ah, yes, Anubis is not here. I think that we should find him"

Once he finished his sentence he felt like his right hand was burning.'Not this again!' His hand was shaking so with his other hand he hold it.

How can this happen at time like this! ?

"how disgusting....I really need to return back...."

With this kind of thought lingering in his mind, only one goal is clear in his head, and that is to return, he stood up, while still staggering in his feet. The dogs around him quickly walked away from him, then with his shaking palms, he dust off his clothes, and came into a quick conclusion.

“boy we are heading out” the golden fur coated dog stood up, perking it’s ears up, and with a lazy whine, he went immediately to Anubis, making tapping sounds on the floor because of his paws.

He looked at the golden dog then shifts his gaze to the black dog

“oi if anything happens snap those chains got it?” the black dog didn’t respond but it just gave an assuring look, with that Anubis shift his gaze again to the door and head out, as much as he hated he headed to where they all compile up all together.

The night was already deep, so fewer humans are walking on the streets, and with his dog beside him he went to a place where a crowd of people could be spotted easily, day and night, humans are going crazy nonstop inside, why would day come here in this bizarre place, how annoying he thought, he just wished that the location of meeting would be a bit peaceful.

Anyhow “so this is it huh? Boy check” reluctantly his dog went around the noisy building that seems a bar or club, sniffing around for some scent, then he looked back at his owner and barked, then wag its tail.

“So Saluki was in here huh?” he sighed and adjusted his cap “I don’t really like to go… but” yeah he felt something, and that feeling is not good, he just couldn’t pin point what was it, because he had spent his energy contacting the other side earlier.

It would also be a good time to ask what had happen, and grab some information, he needed. Besides even though his in the human world, he still have a responsibility to protect the underworld, even with this amount of power in hand.

“well let’s get this over with” he went ahead, not seemingly suspicious he got in immediately, he let his dog lead the way to the location they are all in and finally, his dog started barking in front of a door, then without any hesitation it went inside.

“…..” he adjusted his cap again pulling It in front, to hide his face even for a bit, the he went inside. He didn’t like the tension inside, it’s suffocating him.

“No need to find me if I already came here all by self, and it’s impolite to talk about a person that is not around don’t you think?” a mocking smile creep along to his lips while he look at the other gods around him.

Then he spotted the person who undoubtingly have the same aura as him “and I can see Hades had been here before me, so I was the last one to crash the party eh? but it seems we are missing someone?” his dog went by his side and sat quietly, while he looked at everyone around him with his guard up.

Sobek yawned as he listened to the conversation progress. He was not one for many words, he should most things trough action since it was in his nature to do so. Eat or be eaten, there is no room for words. Don't misunderstand me, Sobek isn't dumb or just out for blood. The god does choose carefully who to attack and in most cases even thinks about the things he is doing. There.......were a few times in the past though where he ran rampage and killed anyone comming to close to him. *sigh* Good old times, humans still believed in gods and even workshipped them. But now everything was different, with the technology and the thoughtlessness of humans treating nature. The plant life couldn't live in this kind of environment and even if it tried to live, it would just be chopped away from the road or trampled on. Humans have become vile creatures, even more evil than the god of death or Sobek himself. It wouldn't take long before humanity destroyed itself. They needed some kind of god or something to make them see that they are a weak species and should just listen to them.

At least Sobek thought so, humanity needed someone to lead them so they won't all die. When the sound of opening doors made his way through Sobek's thoughts he shifted his sight towards it. Hades. The god of death, both Anubis and Hades often argued over humans that are near death. Jugdement and shit so Sobek didn't really care. Speaking of Anubis though, the jackal soon joined their little party and only a small growl left his lips. He didn't outright hate the other, they weren't really compatible though and thus there was a mutural dislike. At least on Sobek's part.

Dionysus rubbed his temples, suddenly irritated. He certainly wasn't cut out for being a leader, and leading a rag-tag bunch of "powerful" gods seemed like... madness of the "wrong" kind. The appearance of two additional Gods piqued his interest enough to make him forget his irritation for the moment. Hades was not exactly an old-friend, but he was the keeper of the underworld where all of his followers invariably ended up, usually as a direct result of the excess they used to worship him. The other God he wasn't so sure of, he looked like he was part of Thoth's group so to speak. The aura he gave off was similar to Hades, to perhaps they were one and the same? That sort of idea really hurt his head; it was no different from the angry God who claimed to be the God of Chaos... if he was the God of Chaos, he paled in comparison to Kronos, the God that had orchestrated this predicament.

He gave an internal sigh, perhaps there was a lesson to be learned in all of this, but whatever it was, it could wait. Despite only "knowing" his fellow Gods for a few short moments, there was an attachment forming borne out of similarity in circumstances. He did feel responsible for their predicament, and he did feel a sense of obligation in fixing it. A rueful smile flashed across his face; fancy a God feeling obligated, though he mused that stranger things had happened before.

He slowly got to his feet and cleared his throat, "I'm Dionysus, best known for being the God of Wine and Excess" he gave a rakish grin as he introduced himself to the two newcomers. "I'll spare you the boring details, I'm sure the others can introduce themselves when and as they see fit, but right now there seems to be a rather pressing matter. One of our... brethren seems to have vanished, kidnapped as it were, and taken to a place that only... you?..." he looked at Hades questioningly and then to the other newcomer, raising his eyebrow and including him in his unasked question, "... have access to. I'm not one for heavily detailed plans, and I'm sure between all of us, we can work something out... yes?" His last statement included everyone in the room, whether or not they were paying attention.

He cast a glance over Hades once more, "I don't suppose you have any ideas?"
