Ryoko hugs the other back holding him close, his shirt was damp since Akise had just got out from the shower but he didn't mind. He looked around before saying "wow! you have done a good job!! and i haven't even looked upstairs yet. I assume you used the room with the balcony for the bedroom?" He asks kissing the others forehead and releasing him firm the embrace. He needed to know what bedroom they were in for later, he was going to make this perfect after all.

He gently guided the other to the marble breakfast bar, pulling a seat up for the male to sit on while Ryoko cooked the dinner, he went the opposite side and searched the cookbook for the correct recipe before he removed a copping board to start chopping vegetables "Tai curry ok? I thought it sounded nice and i haven't eaten a lot of curry before."

"Of course I used that room as the bedroom. You seemed to like that room the best so I figured why not. One of the rooms has all my junk in it so don't enter or you could get buried alive. Then there's an empty one for you. Pack it with whatever you want okay." he says happily. Its why he had wanted three rooms after all. Akise sits looking at Ryoko. "As long as you make it I'll eat it. So I see you got your car. Gonna take your boyfriend out on a date?" he asked teasingly

Ryoko grinned, "maybe tomorrow, the poor girl needs a clean, the bodywork is gonna rust otherwise, she is more grey than the beautiful green original." he laughed as he continued cutting the food together in the pan. "do you like the car? Have to say, it's the nicest thing i own!" Hell he thought to himself, it was pretty much the only thing he owned now, but he was glad to have the car, it was his pride and joy, and was always spotless. Amazingly he had even learnt how to tune the engine in it, a feat he was very proud of since he was not a mechanic!

Akise glanced to the side. "I don't drive so its a really nice car in my opinion. Nonetheless, what should we do now? It seems we are settling in nicely in our new home. Though I'll soon have to go back to work. What do you plan to do?" he asked him nervously. It wasn't as if he was going to make Ryoko pay anything around the house. Though he knew the other would need things like natural necessities and also car supplies.

"Well I could go and beg for my old job back, but that's not my style and begging is weak so i think i'll go search about and find a job, can't have you paying all the bills, id feel like a parasite." He laughed as he quickly put a pan of water on to boil. He hated to make Akise pay, it irked him enough that he wasn't paying a penny towards the house and he knew he would need clothes as well as money to pay phone bills and for petrol which wasn't exactly cheap.

"Ohh Akise I just realised I didnt lock the car, could you check it for me?" He threw the male the keys, "you have to lock it manually, one of the things with an old car!" He laughed, hoping it would take Akise some time, he needed to get upstairs and sort everything out before the other came back in.

Akise glanced down a bit. "I have no problem paying things until you find something. There's no real rush but if you think there is then I have something for you." he says hoping the other wouldn't mind his help. He placed the envelope he had gotten from his father's workers on the marble surface. "This is applications for two very well known computer companies. I remember you said you were a computer tech. If you don't mind a small push then try for them. Though you'll have to proceed with your own merits." he says poking the paper.

 

Akise glanced up catching the keys. "Sure what did you forget?" he asked willing to get whatever the other needed him to get. He waits to know what he's looking for before going to get the item.

Ryoko looked at the envelope Akise had put in front of him, he smiled, Akise was so sweet for him to think of this made him so happy. He walked around to the other side of the breakfast bench to where the other was, he gently pulled the man into a hug and whispered "Thank you." he didn't know what else to say, he was so grateful to the other he didn't know what to say. Still smiling he gave the other a squeeze before releasing him. "thank you." he repeated quietly. He looked into the others eyes and grinned. Shaking himself he said "anyway, sorry, if you could just do the window up and lock the car, i am fairly sure it was left unlocked and two of the windows down. Sorry, my mistake." he said sheepishly, knowing that he had done it on purpose to get Akise out the house briefly.

Akise blushed from the hug. "Your welcome. I noticed you want to help so I got some assistance and did this just for you. I am glad you aren't upset about it." he says as he was let go. He made his way to the door and outside. He looked at the car surprised at its condition. "He really takes care of this." he mutters going to roll up the windows. He then decided to sit in the seat. "So this is what being in the driver's seat feels like."

As Akise shut the door behind him Ryoko grabbed everything he had hidden his side of the breakfast bar, where the other couldn't see it and ran as fast as he could up the stairs with it all in his arms, a feat he was amazed by, since it was all very heavy put together and the combination of large and small things as well as the delicate things made it extremely hard to carry at once.

He ran into the bedroom, only sparing it a quick gasp at how amazing it looked before he got to work sorting everything out for later, Akise was going to love this! He smiled to himself as he worked quickly. Once he was done he ran out the room, shutting the door behind him and dashed down the stairs again glad to see Akise hadn't quite got back yet, running to the stove where the water was now boiling he grabbed some rice and quickly poured it into the water, amazed he had actually measured the right amount of water. He was breathing heavily but smiling widely that he had managed it, now he just had to hope Akise would need the toilet before dinner so he could sort the table out.

Akise placed his hands on the wheel pretending to drive. He was having fun and then remembers Ryoko is inside. He gets out and locks the doors. He then waltz back inside looking at him. "Okay your car is protected. So how is supper coming along? Do you need any help?" he asked him with a gentle smile on his face. He was interested in trying the food the other was making.

Ryoko looked over his shoulder, he had just about managed to calm his breathing although it had been a struggle in such short time. "ohh thank you, well i am nearly done." he looked at his wrist before realising that he no longer had his watch either, sighing he looked out the window, the sun was getting lower, by the time they had eaten it would be just about to set. He smiled knowingly as he stirred one of the pans, coating the chicken in it with a layer of the sauce, he quickly grabbed some cardamoms and squeezed them over the pan before dropping them in for flavour. he removed the rice from the heat mixing it with the spoon before he grabbed a couple of plates and put the rice onto them. trying to get the other out the room he said "go on i'll serve you go wash your hands, i think i saw a downstairs toilet over there." he said pointing to a small door in the wall to his right.

"Alright I'll go wash my hands. I'll be right back." he says as he made his way to the bathroom. Akise glanced at himself in the mirror. He noticed he had a bit more color in his skin than normal. It made him nervous. He knew that he'd never have such a normal appearance. 'I guess I'll ask father to look into it.. I'd hate to be sick and not know...' he thinks turning on the water. Slowly washig his hands Akise wonders what Ryoko was planning. He could tell just cooking wasn't the only thing the other was up to. He was playing along to find out what it was.

As soon as Akise was out of sight Ryoko grabbed the table cloth and threw it open onto the table,it was a light cream with splashes of red, it looked surprisingly elegant for what it was. When the cloth didn't settle neatly he groaned and quickly ran around the table straitening it all out until it was smooth and even, he quickly ran back to the bar and grabbed the pink and red flowers that had been woven together to create a beautiful circular centrepiece of the table, he quickly put the candles in the sticks and lit them, turning off the lights so the room was washed in the soft, flickering glow. He smiled pleased with himself before he walked back to the bar and continued serving the food, he poured the chicken and its green source neatly onto the rice and put the lightly salted and buttered cabbage on the edge of the plate. Carrying both, one in each hand he placed them on the table with the neatly arranged cutlery.

Akise walked out the bathroom. "Ryoko what is with all the moving about in here?" he asked before noticing the set up the other had. He looked at him and then the table. "What is all of this? I only asked for curry you know." he says completely flabbergasted. He had not expected this is what Ryoko was planning. It was a sweet surprise and he kind of liked it.

Ryoko walked over to the other and gently bulled him towards him by the waist, "Well, i thought i would do something nice for you, since i am your boyfriend now." He brought one hand up to the back of Akise's neck and gently kissed the other. He withdrew taking the mans hand and leading him to the table he pulled out a chair for the other to sit in, "We have Tai green curry for dinner, by the soft light of..." Ryoko stopped when he realised what he was about to say, it would have sounded so cheesy, he laughed to himself before saying, "err..lit by candlelight." it sounded slightly lame but still better than what he was about to say which he was certain would have earnt him a very obvious eye roll.

Akise continued to stare at the set up before looking at Ryoko. "This is rather sweet of you. I learned something new today. Ryoko has a romantic side." he says blushing a bit as he was kissed. He follows slowly as he takes a seat. Akise listens to the other talking and noticed he had cut himself off. His gaze drifts towards him. "What was that? Ryoko... you were going to say something else. What was it?" he asked frowning a bit. "Is it something bad?" he asked

Ryoko blushed embarrassed that the other had picked him up on his blunder "arhh sorry, no it wasn't bad just...just cheesy, and i am not saying it!" he said the last bit laughing because it was so true, even if the other begged he wouldn't speak the words aloud. He went and sat down in his seat, he quickly slipped his hand in his pocket and hit a few buttons on a remote, music began to play softly in the background. "i think you are going to find i can be a lot more romantic than you give me credit for!" he teased as he began to tuck into his food, surprisingly it didn't taste to bad, something that Ryoko was both pleased and amazed by.

Akise looked at the other. "Cheesy...? So you won't tell me what it is. I understand." he says lowering his gaze. He looked at the food before him and slowly began to eat. It was delicious and surprisingly tasty but he didn't say so. He just slowly started eating before hearing the music. "You have music set up for this too? Where did you find the time?" he mutters wondering if this happened while he was at the car just now.

"ohh the music, a magician never reveals his secrets" He laughed "well i guess i did cheat on that one really, i went and brought a new phone and got them to set it up for me and put an album on it, then i went to the music store and brought a speaker with a remote." he waved the remote in the air. Ryoko considered asking the other for his number but decided against it, he didn't want to be too pushy so early in their relationship. He ate a few more mouthful before he asked "Is it ok, if you don't't like it say." he was a little worried since he knew his cooking was exactly brilliant but he had really tried n this and he didn't think it tasted to bad.

Akise glanced up at him. "You have a new phone..? That's good to know. Its best to always have one when you need it." he says as he began eating some more. He stops as he looked at Ryoko. "Are you worried about your cooking? You should have more confidence in yourself. I don't eat things I dislike. I tend to be honest when it counts. Haven't you noticed that about me so far?" he asked continuing to eat. He enjoyed the meal and the music that went with it. "You are a wonderful cook. I'd love it for you to cook for me again." Akise says taking his now empty plate to the sink.

Ryoko smiled he was glad the other liked the food "well as long as i don't have to improvise i so pose i am an ok cook, well i can follow a recipe at the least!" He joked taking his now empty plate and putting it by the sink. He looked up at the sky which was now dimming into a light purply pink, he smiled knowing that soon it would be getting dark and the stars would be out. He gently took Akise arm and pulled him close "i am glad you liked the food, but i have something else for you now." He smiled as he placed a light kiss on the male neck.

"You have more plans for today? What else could you have set up now?" he asked curiously. He had no idea what to expect. This was seriously one surprise after another. He wonders why Ryoko was putting so much into this evening. "Is there something wrong Ryoko? You aren't planning to disappear or leave right!?" he asked looking the other in the eyes. Akise wasn't use to being treated to such things unless it was out of pity or because someone was planning to leave.

Ryoko's eyes widened before he stuttered out "no..no, i ...i just wanted to ...to do something nice...since i am your first boyfriend..sorry...i guess i went overboard again." He was worried that he was putting too much pressure on Akise and he didn't understand why the man thought he might leave. Ryoko mentally shock himself, no, he planned this evening for Akise and he hadn't even got to the best bit yet. He pulled the man into a hug "Sorry but humour me for a bit longer." he said as he pulled Akise's arm gently leading him upstairs.

"I am not use to these kinds of things. I don't want to say you went overboard but maybe too much too fast." he says as he noticed the embrace continued. He guess he was maybe being a bit too paranoid. "Ryoko....? Oh, alright. Continue with your surprises. I'll do my best to not overreact and enjoy them." he says with a light blush on his cheeks. Akise follows Ryoko up the stairs.

Ryoko pushed their bedroom door open and lead Akise out onto the balcony, where two white pillows lay next to each other and white rose petals surrounded the area with a single red rose in the middle, kneeling down Ryoko picked up the rose and clasped Akise's hands around it careful not to prick the other man, leaning in with his hands still around Akise's clasped ones he closed the space between them and ever so gently pressed a soft kiss to the others lips, he drew away whispering "thank you Akise." He sat down pulling the other with him upon one of the pillows and looked up at the darkening sky, the stars were just about to appear and if on cue Ryoko saw the first one, pointing to it he said "first star gorgeous, make a wish." He smiled gently.
