Ryoko frowned he wasn't sure why the other was acting so weird upon the talk of music it was something he didnt understand but he felt that he shouldn't press the subject, Akise would tell him if he wanted to. distractedly he said "err..ok..ill meet you down there." He wandered over to the paintings, they really were incredible although when the man got the time to do them was completely beyond him. He walked back to the harp gently plucking one of the strings. He winced as he heard the sound, it was terribly out of tune. Sitting beside it he started to carefully pluck the strings, turning the pegs until the metal produced a beautiful sound. He repeated the process for all the other strings, an activity that took him quarter of an hour. Finally he stood and ran his fingers from the top sting to the lowest, the room rang with the soft sound as it emanated around him. He smiled, beautiful.

 

Walking out the room he took one last quick look around before he shut the door and wandered back downstairs to Akise. As he entered the kitchen he said "i hope you dont mind but i tuned the harp, it was terribly out of key."

Akise began preparing lunch. He placed it in a bento as he had an idea for where their lunch time could take place. As he set the things something caught his attention. The strum of the harp. He grit his teeth a bit but relaxed. He was the one who decided to show Ryoko the room. Akise couldn't hide everything from his boyfriend. He knew secrets in a relationship could cause pain and worry. So he was tryin his best to avoid hiding things. Though it was easier said than done. Once lunch was set he saw his lover. "I had placed it untuned but it's fine if you're the one to use it. Lunch is ready. Let's eat it like a picnic on the beach"

[Nyuchanxx]

"Sorry," Ryoko mumbled "I thought it was sad to leave it untuned." He realised that he probably shouldn't have, he should have left it, he could tell what ever it was about that harp Akise didn't want it played. "Yer sire that sounds great." He said still a little distracted, to him the idea of an instrument bound never to be played was unnatural and saddened him but he knew it was best not to mention it so instead he simply pulled on a shirt lying on the sofa and picked up some of the food. "Ok shall we go then?" He smiled trying to regain the relaxed atmosphere.

Akise walked up to Ryoko and placed his hand upon his cheek. "Don't make an expression like that. It make me wanna cry when you do such. I am not upset that you wish to play the harp or want a violin. I have been very skilled with any instrument placed before me. Without much instruction or practice. I just dislike them because its boring. If its not challenging then I find no point in them. Life without challenges is boring." he said kissing his lips. "I'll go get us a blanket and then we can enjoy lunch together. Oh Ryoko, I want to ask you something. It has to do with this weekend." he said as he went up the stairs. Only moments later returning with a blanket. Akise smiled looking at him.

Ryoko nodded "sorry i guess you are right i just think its sad to waste such an amazing gift...sorry i dont mean to try and convince you to play because i know you dont want to..." he trailed off as he opened the door for Akise to pass "so what was it you wanted to ask me?" he said trying to change the subject onto something a little safer as he quickly locked the house door.

"You don't ave to worry so much. That's one thing I can never be persuaded into doing no matter what. If I get bored of something I usually leave it alone to collect dust. If you play then by all means do so. It has noting to do with me." he said with a smile. Akise walked outside and glanced up. "I am worried about you meeting my mother. She's sharp and she hates to be lied to. I just don't know how comfortable I am with saying you are my boyfriend. I never brought anyone home to meet them before. Are you confident enough to say you're my boyfriend to her?"

[Nyuchanxx]

Ryokonlaugjed lightly "Akise come on I am sure you know me well enough to be able to answer that yourself, I am rarely shy about anything although saying that you managed it a couple of times!" He chuckled remembering. "Well I can tell her that comfortably after all I am exceedingly proud to be your boyfriend!" He pulled the other close to him, missing the top of his forehead as he walked onto the soft sand of the beach.

Akise looked down as they walked upon the sand. "I think this is a good spot." he said stopping. He placed the blanket down and sits upon it. His gaze drifts towards the water. "So do you like swimming in the ocean more or in a pool?" he asked just out of curiosity. He was feeling a bit ill but didn't want it to ruin their day. So he was keeping quit about it.

Ryoko placed the food on the carpet as he sat down as well. Beginning to unwrap it be replied "well I love swimming in the sea because its so free and fun but in a pool is god too...I tend to just enjoy the water when I swim in the sea whereas I just swim laps for the hell of it in a pool." He smiled as he picked up the chopsticks and began to eat. "Do you want to learn?"

"No I don't. It looks too dangerous with the wars crashing down like that. Besides, I don't see the point in learning to swim. Though I find watching you swim is a lot more entertaining. You'll come to realize I'm as entertaining as the sand around us." he mutters as he opens the bento boxes. Akise was ready to eat with the other. His gaze dances towards his precious boyfriend. He was still surprised someone like Ryoko wanted to be with him.

Ryoko laughed at the others bluntness "well I am glad you say exactly what you think!" He was still laughing a little as he picked up the food and began to eat "mmm Akise this is really good!" He complemented taking some more. "So come on you know what I like doing in my free time so what about you?" He was genuinely interested since Akise didn't seem like the type to be into sports but maybe he was wrong.

"I enjoy taking long walks in the park or on the beach. I have fun playing computer games or painting. I suppose my best pass time would be cooking. I like finding new recipes that I can try and create." Akise says looking to the side. He wasn't one who enjoyed talking about himself. He found it weird. Though he guessed Ryoko couldn't figure everything out on his own without help. That thought made him happy in a way. He leans close to Ryoko just for a moment. "I really like you a lot. So spending time with you will become another one of my favorite pass times."

"ohh good because thats one of my favourite pass times as well!" He smiled, he couldnt help it he really loved spending time with Akise and he was glad the other enjoyed his company as well. He picked up a piece of the battered prawns with his chop sticks and leaned in closer to Akise holding the food near his mouth. He could smell the gorgeous aroma of the fish as it wafted towards him and said quietly "now open your mouth." He winked, a cheeky smile playing across his lips.

Akise narrows his eyes as he looked at Ryoko. He didn't expect the other would want to feed him and the jester made his cheeks turn flush. "Uh... alright..." he mumbles slowly parting his lips. He found this to be like a scene out of a romantic movie or anime. It was sweet and tender with all the right mood flowing.

Ryoko gently placed the food in Akise's mouth. The blush on the other cheeks made him smile. He found it hard to believe that he was actually in this position, on the beach with the man he cared immensely for and feeding him. He had always wanted to do something like this but he had never had the opportunity to and had never cared this much for any of the others. Right now he could feel warmth spread throughout him as he sat with Akise. This man really was perfect.

Akise chews the food that had been placed into his mouth. His mind always on the one question that bothered him most. 'Why does Ryoko want to be with someone like me...' It was something he couldn't understand. He's always been an indoor child since birth and when he left home he stayed that way. It was his friend who helped him learn to get out. To much of his surprise it was also his friend who had taken him to the hospital the first time he saw Ryoko. 'I wonder if Aso is behind this somehow.... He is definitely a troublemaker... but....' Akise thinks as he stares at Ryoko.

Ryoko looks at Akise trying to figure out the look on his face, he couldn't understand it at all. This man was still a little of a mystery to him although he hoped that would change with time "what is it? Did you not like that? sorry." he looked down placing his hands, still holding the chopsticks, in his lap. He knew Akise got embarrassed easily and didnt like to be as forward as Ryoko did but he had assumed that since there was no one else here it was ok.

 

He mentally shook himself, no, if this was going to work he had to be honest and stop apologising for every little thing. He looked up and put down the chopsticks. Gently he hooked a finger under Akise's chin and lifted his face up leaning in as he did. He shut his eyes as he placed his lips upon the others, kissing the man gently. he pulled away slowly keeping a few millimetres from the others face still. Gently he said "Akise, if you dont like it you have to tell me or ill keep doing it. So please trust in me."

"Ryoko..... I...." he mumbles as he notice te other suddenly got depressed. Did his expression give off something weird? Akise couldn't see his current expression and that bothered him now. He could never tell what kind of face he was making around Ryoko. His gaze began to lower only to be lifted by Ryoko. The kiss, ever so gentle was like that of a sweet rose. "I don't mind because we are alone. If this was a public setting I might be worried. Keep going unless I say otherwise. I like that you dot hold back. Your like my mother in that way. You both are determined to always get what you want. It's inspiring to me so don't change that about you Ryoko." Akise says kissing his back. He could be bluntly or brutally honest at times. Though in his mind Ryoko was the go-getter he had one day wished to be.

Ryoko smiled "good I am glad." He was silent for a moment thinking on what Akise had said before he grinned "hey, I can tell already I am gong to get along with your mother then!" he was glad he would be able to relate to at least one member of Akise's family on some sort of level, it put him a little more at ease for the weekend. He wouldn't admit it but he was very anxious about how it would go and he was very aware of the fact he was Akise's first boyfriend and he would have to make a good impression on the family, something that wasn't down to a good start after he had attacked Akise's brother at the hospital. Not that he regretted it in the slightest.

 

He picked up his chopsticks again and took another bit of the food. It practically melted in his mouth it was so good "so this weekend...who is actually going to be there? since you appear to have a very large family!" He wanted to be aware of the numbers before he arrived, the thought of being suddenly surrounded by strangers was bad enough but if there were more than he anticipated then he wasn't sure how well he would be able to handle it.

Akise smiled as he looked at him. "Well you sort of my papa at the hospital. He was the doctor there. He's normally not home so he might not be there. You just met my sister. She's too hyper for her age but she means well. She's going to be there without fail. If she asked to size you say no. It's most likely to make a dress for you." he said pouting. "There my mother who planned this so you'll met her. Plus my brothers. I never realized I had another besides the one you punched. Since they are twins I'm not sure how to react. I guess they will be there too. Oh and there's one other person you'll meet" Akise says. "You'll get to see Ren! He's really sweet and loves everyone. Just don't let him jump on you. You'll end up a fur ball just like him."

[Nyuchanxx]

Ryoko chuckled "your dog i assume then?" he smiled, if Akise had a dog that made him feel better. Dogs had an amazing way of calming people, he figured if the people all got to much he would be able just to talk to Ren. It might stop him lashing out if people got too close to him, he was fairly certain that he wouldn't be able to deal with people touching him still. He still couldn't quite believe that he was perfectly fine with Akise touching him. He hoped that the twins wouldn't look too similar if they had different hair cuts or something that would be brilliant but somehow he doubted he would be that lucky but never the less he hoped, after all he didn't want to start judging one twin over what the other one did or to get annoyed at the wrong one.

 

"your sister must be very talented if she can sew and draw then. Heavily Right hemisphere then. Well I hope we can find something to relate to since it is fairly obvious I am more Left hemisphere." His brain worked much more logically, it came with part of being a programmer, if you couldn't think logically then you might as well give up programming altogether, it was far to maths orientated for anyone with a right hemisphere brain.

Akise looked at Ryoko. "Are you sure you want to come over this weekend? If I do recall you mentioned your not comfortable being touched. I don't want you getting scared or hating me. You can stay here until I come back." he said noticing the expression on his lover's face. "I have no issue going alone. It's my family after all. Don't force yourself just for my sake. I'll hate myself knowing your doing that." he said plainly. As I self loathing was something that came naturally to him. "Tell me honestly how you feel about this weekend."

[Nyuchanxx]

Ryoko smiled "ohh is it that easy to read me?" he chuckled "well honestly i want to come, it's ok. I'm just a little...apprehensive I guess. Anyway i am going to meant your family at some point since I plan to stick around so now seems as good a time as any. Any how i feel better going than staying here and worrying about you being there with your brother, it still worries me a bit." It mad him happy that Akise worried about him but he was much happier to go than to stay behind. Finished eating he stretched his arms above his head sighing "that was delicious Akise, you should cook more, your food is a hundred times better than mine!"

Akise closed his eyes as he inched closer to Ryoko. "Alright if you say so. Though I believe your cooking has that aspect of love in it which is why I prefer you to cook." he said blushing. "Just make sure to bring some things you think you'll need while there. It for the whole weekend so you better be prepared." he says with a smile. Akise the pouts a bit. "I won't be able to be alone with you much when we go there tomorrow. So don't leave my side for a moment for the rest of the day okay."

Ryoko nodded, he hoped he had enough clothes, he hadn't really been shopping yet other than to buy a tie and some hair ties. "Don't worry i doubt you could drag me from your side." he laughed lightly "well I won't be too far from you tomorrow so it's ok, I guess that means I might be submitting to your sisters shenanigans if I can't find anything else to do while you are not with me!" His smile dropped as he suddenly realised something "wait, Akise, your mother wont put us in separate rooms will she, I don't want to be away from you day and night, I'll miss you." it was his turn to pout now. He knew he was over reacting and he cold spend the weekend not seeing Akise too much but he didn't want to, he wanted to spend as much time as he could with the other, not to mention he didn't want to leave Akise alone for extended periods in the same vicinity as his brother.
