"ok well if your sure." Ryoko relied not totally convinced. He finished eating in silence. Once he finished he gently sat back in his chair sipping his coffee before finally asking the question that had been annoying him for a while. "umm sorry to pry but why is there nothing in your room?"

Akise looked at him. "I am surprised you asked that. Things often break in there. So I avoid unnecessary objects in there to avoid damaging them or myself on them. It use to have a table, lap and other things to make it more bedroom like. I got rid of it." he says softly. He got up and went to stand behind Akise, threading his fingers through the man's soft grey locks, he breathed in, it was comforting to smell the scent of someone new, someone who didn't know everything. Akise was washing the dishes only to freeze up. His eyes lower as he feels his hair being touched. "Its real Ryoko. No dyes or anything. My natural hair color since birth. I don't like it. I'd cut it all off but it'll just grow back the same color so I leave it alone." he says blushing a bit. His hair color was a result to his odd birth. It was also the cause for him and his brother's odd relationship.

"hmm" Ryoko hummed as he breathed in a final time "dont cut it, its exceedingly beautiful" He stroked the hair once more feeling its silkiness run through his fingers, opening his eyes he took a step back and returned to the real world.

Akise finished the dishes and looked at Ryoko. "Well that's done with. I am going to the store. I am getting more bandages since it seems you'll need them. Do you want me to get you anything specific?" he asked going towards his room. He opens the closet door and starts to change. Removing his shirt, all the bandages he had could be seen. His wounds were far from healed but he never showed the pain on his face. He changes shirts and his pants. He then closes the closet and went to get his shoes.

" actually if its ok wit you could i catch a lift in as well since i need to go to the bank for some money, ill go buy some new clothes, im sure you don't want me soiling these one." Ryoko called back from the kitchen. Ryoko mentally shook himself trying to erase all thought of how beautiful Akise was, he couldn't hit on the poor man, hell the guy didn't even know if he was gay! For gods sake Ryoko didn't even know if he was hitting on him, he didn't want a relationship, and he didn't think Akise was his type. "you dont have to worry bout taking me back, ill catch a bus back here when im done so ill just go to the store with you." he said as he moved towards the door to put his shoes on.

Akise walked out the room looking at Ryoko. "I told you it doesn't bother me. Those clothes are new and unworn. I worked at a clothing store that went out of business. I was able to get tons of clothes that didn't sell. The rest went to charity. So there are various sizes in those bags. If you ask me why I have those its because I am far too kind. If someone needs help or asks me for help I always say yes. So those come in handy." he says opening the door. He looked at the Ryoko. "Are you coming or not?" he asked

"ohh yer sorry" he said half stumbling out the door "well i should still go and get a new credit card..and my debit, i need a new wallet to, and i have to request a new drivers licence...ohh crap i need a phone to, arhh..maybe i should just go back to Miki's and get my stuff." Ryoko sighed, this was going to be hell whatever happened. "you know what i'll should just go to Miki's, ill need all my qualifications anyway if i have any hope of getting a job since i had to quit the last one" Ryoko grumbled miserably. This was really turning out to be a rough day.

Akise walked outside and locked the door. "Here you go." he says holding out a key to Ryoko. "Hold on to that in a safe place. Whatever you decide to do you can always return back here. Just don't go selling my spare key okay." he says softly with a smile. "I am going to get going. I want to make it back before it gets too late. See ya!" he says taking off. To give a complete stranger a spare key, Akise was far too kind.

"akise wait!" Ryoko yelled back "Akise ill knock you dont want to give me this! If something goes wrong...." Akise had already left. "damn!" Ryoko cursed too himself, if he went to Miki's and he found the key on him he would find Akise, and that was the last thing Ryoko wanted to happen, he didnt want to drag others into this whole mess if he could avoid it. cursing again he unlocked the door to Akise's place and ran in, writing a quick note telling Akise not to try and find him if he didnt return and thanking him for his hospitality if something made sure that Ryoko couldnt return. Then he once again left the house.

On the roadside Ryoko dug his hands into his pockets hoping on the off chance there might be some change in them...there wasn't. Sighing he went to the roadside and stuck his thumb up at least hoping for a lift. Soon a car pulled over, the window winding down Ryoko saw a girl a couple of years younger than him in it.

"where'd a gorgeous man like you wanna go with no money?" she said teasingly

"Palm villa's the other side of town Miss." Ryoko answered politely.

"ohh there, great! Thats where im headed to, hop right in!" she replied leaning over to open the door. Ryoko did so, doing up his seat belt as the woman drove off

"so who're you seeing there, since i assume you cant live there, i mean with the hitch hiking and all."

"boyfriend..ex-boyfriend, i'm picking up my stuff." Ryoko said trying to keep the conversation even if it was awkward "yourself?" he asked

"same..well not ex obviously!"

"ohh who? i might know them." Ryoko said charmingly, he was friendly with many of the people there, most where very interesting and nice people.

Akise went off to do as he had planned. He wonders what the other was going to do. His mind was on worry mode as he was thinking about himself and Ryoko. He wasn't sure if the other would come back. He liked having the company of someone who wasn't going to harm him. It was something he hadn't experienced in a long time.

"crap!" Ryoko swore this was the worst, he would do to her what he did to him. "have you moved in with him yet?"

"N..no..why?..why are you looking like that..what's wrong?" the woman stuttered she didnt like the look in the mans eyes it was as if his entire world was crashing around him, it frightened her.

Ryoko breathed a sigh of relief "look drive me to the gates of the villa then turn around and leave! never come back, break off all contact with him, heck change your number if you have to!" no it couldn't happen to her, he couldn't let that foul man just destroy peoples lives

"wh..why? your scaring me, im not gonna break up with him because some stranger tells me to!" her voice was breaking, she truly was scared.

"you want to know, you really want to know?" the girl merely nodded.

"Pull over" Ryoko commanded, she did. "he was my boyfriend, before he put me in hospital...look" he removed the shirt revealing the bloodied bandages before her and the purple swelling in his right arm. "he is abusive, please for the love of god dont go back to him." Ryoko was begging now, on the brink of tears. The woman gaped reaching out to touch the wounds, Ryoko flinched away pulling the shirt over him for protection "dont touch me, i cant handle it, it scares me too much."

Ryoko opened the door and got out, certain that he had got his point trough to her, he couldn't let her take him to that place, he would walk, get his stuff and try for a lift back. If he made it out alive that is.

Akise got his things and even bought a few groceries. He headed back home and enters. He was surprised to see the note and frowns. "I do hope you return..." he mutters softly before putting everything away. He sits on his couch and turned on the television he had there. It was only noon and he didn't feel in the mood to do much. Akise yawns feeling a bit sleepy as he closed his eyes and fell asleep. He wasn't aware that his brother had entered his place.

Ryoko arrived at the villa 15 minutes walk later, he was glad they had been nearly there or he would have been in trouble, it was the other side of town than Akise's place. The gate was guarded; as usual, but Ryoko knew other ways in since Miki had never given him a pass.

He wandered round to the side where the fencing was lower and jumped trying to stradle the tall fence. His arm gave out as he reached up to grab the top and he fell back to the floor with a yelp where he remained for a few minutes groaning. Finally he stood groaning as all his muscles protested and limped over to a house near the edge of the fence. A man stood watering outside as Ryoko had hoped he ould be, "excuse me, Kanoji san" Ryoko shouted as loud as he could in his pained state. The man looked up before dropping his watering can and rushing to the fence

"ohhh god, Ryoko what happened, here come in, meet me by the main gate!" the man rushed off to notify the guards while Ryoko was left to struggle his way back.

Akise continued to sleep but it wasn't for long. He felt something crushing his stomach and he woke up. He opened his eyes to see a cinder block on his chest. He froze before glancing to the side. "I thought you'd never wake up. Normally this wouldn't affect a person so easily. Though you are underweight and clearly this is hurting you." his brother says chuckling. Akise stares at him. "Twice in one day...? That's not like you and you love routine. Is something wrong nii-chan?" he asked. Akise always spoke to the other normally as though they were still close brothers. It bothered the other because it seemed he could never officially break Akise the way he wanted to. "I had a bad day. Want to help me relieve my stress?" he asked adding a second block to the one already on Akise. "Sure. Anything for my big brother." he says fully aware of what was going to happen.

Ryoko having now gotten inside the villa complex headed strait for Miki's after thanking Kanoji san and trying to stop him worrying. Ryoko attempted the door only to find, as expected it was locked. Removing a paper clip from his pocket he slipped it in the keyhole trying to pick the lock, his nervousness made it twice as hard, he jumped at every noise but eventually the lock clicked into place and the door swung open onto a dark room. Shutting the door Ryoko rushed inside, running around the house in the darkness trying to find his stuff without disturbing anything, finally after 10 minutes of searching he found his car keys and wallet under a pile of stuff beneath the coffee table on which he had left them that fate full night. limping into the bedroom he grabbed a load of his clothes and shoes shoving them in a shoulder satchel he made for the door.

He heard a key in the lock, silently cursing he ran back into another room and hid.

Akise closed his eyes as he now had four cinder blocks upon his chest. He could barely breathe and he was losing consciousness. "Oh stay awake my sweet little brother. I have so much more I wish to do today. After all you lied to me and you know I don't take kindly to lies." he says removing the blocks. He runs his hands over the dark blueish-purple bruises. He picked Akise up by his hair and drags him to the bedroom. His eyes slightly open as he looked back at the couch. He couldn't move much as he was focused on breathing. Being tossed onto the bed didn't help at all. He wanted his brother to leave but he wasn't going to say it.

Suddenly the loud voice got nearer and the footsteps louder as Miki entered the room Kyoko was in. Kyoko could hear him walk around the bed "damn bitch, i want some now, where is she" He growled fumbling with the dvd player "grr i was gonna wait till she moved in but now...im gonna beat her and then fuck her minuscule brains out like the dog she is!" Miki started laughing as the dvd began to play.

Ryoko could her the sadistic porn video playing as Miki sat on the bed, compressing the space Ryoko had, making him feel even more claustrophobic. Above him he could hear laboured breathing as Miki got off to the porn tape, he could hear vibrations of one of the many sex toys his ex owned.

He glanced at his clock on the wall to see what the time was. He frowns worried about Ryoko. He hoped the other would return soon. He didn't want to feel this lonely at the point.

Summoning up all his courage Ryoko carefully crawled out from under the bed, keeping low and ignoring all the discomfort from his wounds dealt by this man. Once out he lay next to the bed as flat as he could, barely out from under it and carefully pulled the bag out. Suddenly Miki stopped, Ryoko stopped breathing holding hi breath ready to run. Miki got up and stood getting off the bed the other side, he walked over to the draws and removed another sex toy that Ryoko couldn't see. Miki turned, his fully hardened cock fully exposed to Ryoko. Akise's neighbor heard the knocks that Akise couldn't hear. He opened his door only to see an unconscious man on the ground. He instantly called an ambulance. He then knocked to get Akise to answer. Not getting a response the man got the owner to the apartment complex to get the door open. Upon entering another ambulance was called. The two were both rushed into the ICU for treatment. It wasn't the same hospital as before. This was a more strict place. Akise awoke and glanced around. He could tell he was in a hospital just by the smell. He looked to the side noticing Ryoko was there. He was now confused. The last thing he remembers was being home and his brother was there. He blacked out and couldn't remember a thing.

Ryoko slowly opened his eyes, the light blinding him briefly before they adjusted to the brightness. He stared up at a ceiling of pure cosmetic white. He squeezed his eyes shut again thinking it was probably his brain not awake yet. The same glaring white stared back at him still. He turned his head trying to determine where exactly he was, groaning as he saw the shiny new hospital equipment. This was bad, this was a hospital and to make it worse it was new, there was no way he would be able to get past the doctors saying he was fine to leave here. He gazed further out to look at the other patients, spotting Akise in the bed next to him he whispered "Akise, Akise, what happened? how long have i been out?"

Akise was sitting up and reading the chart and the end of his bed. He glanced over to the side upon hearing his name. "Oh your awake. I am not sure but according to my chart I have been here for two days. If we arrived at the same time then its the same for you. I am also not allowed visitors so I suppose that goes for you as well. I don't know how we ended up here but I guess we are stuck until they give us the okay." he says looking at him. He placed the chart back before tilting his head. "So seriously how did we end up here? Do you have any clues?"

No idea i must have black out after i knocked on your door..the run must have been to much of a strain on my body. ohh god, what did they do with my stuff, if i went through that shit with Miki for nothing i might just break down!" He put his head in his hands trying not to remember the experience. "damn, its not like they are going to let us out of here until we are actually ok either, unlike the last hospital and sooner or later we are going to be allowed visitors." Ryoko said worrying, suddenly a thought hit him, "wait, Akise, what are you doing here? You were fine when you left this morning."
