kittypanda
Based on the Greek Mythology story of Hades and Persphone. ~Plot~ Hades, God of the underworld and of wealth- had a son, a son who will soon overthrow his father and take his place as the new ruler of the dark underground world. One day while the fates were visiting the God- Hades, warned him of his sons treachery; which in turn angered the God. So what is the best way to destroy a threat? Well, it was to banish the threat from the underworld. However, when word got to the other Gods ears that the son of Hades was roaming around on the surface. When those words got to Zeus, King of the Gods- he became angry with his brother for banishing his son- when it was already written in the stars that Hades's son will take his place as ruler of the underworld. That's when Zeus thought of a plan to get his nephew back down where he belongs. On the seventh day of the young demi-god being up on the surface- Zeus himself appeared before the young demi-god and told him of his plan: "If you can find your true love in 60 days then the path way to the underworld will open up to you. It will also help you with your fate- which is becoming the new ruler of the underworld, but if you fail to find your true love. Then you shall be turned into stone." After hearing those words leave the King of the God's mouth, got the young demi-god thinking about what could happen to him if he doesn't make it in time. That was until he heard a lovely voice singing, draw to the voice he spots what he thinks is the most lovely and beautiful creature that he has ever seen sitting in the flower meadow. kittypanda
((Sorry for the very late reply..! *Bows lowly*)) High above the mortal world was Olympus, the home of the Gods. Chatter and loud booming voices were heard coming from a chamber. Large columns of pearl white marble held the high vaulted ceiling- people dressed in elegant different colored robes were about the room. Each one of them looked more lovely than the one before. A loud sigh broke through the loud talking as they all were gathered around a white marble pedestal- crystal clear water was seen inside of the middle of the bronze basin. "Everyone- please be quiet!" A loud booming voice spoke out catching every-bodies undivided attention. The all mighty Zeus nodded his head at the other Gods. "We have a problem.." He said causing the room to shake ever so slightly. He placed one of his strong arms behind his back while the other was use to stroke his long curly white beard, "What is it my husband?" Hera asked in a cool tone of voice wondering why he had summoned them all here. Zeus looked at her than at the other Gods. "Hermes told me that Hades has just banished Aidechos out of the Underworld..." That caused even more chatter to come out the room. They all knew that Hades must have heard about his fate. However- "What will happen to him now?" The king of the sea (Poseidon) spoke up this time, trying to figure out what will happen to his nephew now that he was roaming among mortals. Silences, that's all that there was in the room for a few minutes. Until the all mighty King spoke. "I will speak to him... He must know of his faith..." That caused even more talking to break through the room. All eyes were staring at the basin watching the figure of Hades' son appear in the crystal clear water. StainedCrimson
Aidechos stumbles as he's roughly shoved out of his home and into the mortal world. Glaring back at the vanished entryway, he then turns and trudges further into the wasteland to reach the nearest human city. If nothing else he needs to figure out just where he got abandoned and see if it's near one of his own few temples. His following is still growing since he's a relatively new god in the scheme of things and humans are surprisingly slow to catch up on his existence. With a sigh he enters a clearing and finds a walking path. Deciding to go towards where he senses the closest city is, he starts walking knowing it will be a long walk before he gets there. Days more likely than not. As he walks a frown appears on his face reliving the moments of his unexpected exile to the human realm. What he can't understand is why his father did such, no explanation was given, just that he was no longer considered by Hades as his son and that the Underworld is no longer his home. A low growl slips out as now he is truly an outcast unless he can find a way back into the Underworld and defeat his father, thus taking over his place as lord of hell. After all, its not like the other gods and goddesses would let him into Olympus due to his lineage. The thoughts swirling in his head causes his pace to pick up and broadcast his agitation. kittypanda
After the meeting with the God's, Zeus took it upon himself to come to his nephew. The clouds above became grey as thunder rolled among the heavens- bright strikes of lightening flashed across the now darkening skies. Just than a bolt of lightening struck down to the ground in front of the young exiled Demi-God. Static was coming from the now forming figure of a man with long flowing white hair and a long curly beard. When the static cleared it showed that it was non-other than Zeus himself. "Aidechos, listen and listen well... For I only have a short amount of time before I have to leave..." The King of the Gods noticed that the male had his teeth gritted together in anger. Not that he could blame him... "There is a way you can get back but you must do it quickly." He stated before continuing. "You must find your true love in sixty days that is the key to getting back to the Underworld and becoming the new ruler of the dead... However..." His face looked serious, and his eyes dimmed a little bit. "If you don't find your true love than... You can't return and you'll be turned into stone.... That is all I can say to you... Good Luck..." With that said Zeus went back the way he came, riding on a lightening bolt. When he was out of sight the clouds above became white once again. ---- A little bit away from where the Demi-god was at, a beautiful male stopped dancing and singing due to the skies above became dark, which he thought there was a storm on its way but... It was strange- just as soon as it became dark it got lighter once more. Confused by this weird weather- he than shrugged it off as nothing and went back to spinning around and singing. His voice was as soft as a song birds and as perfect as a bells chime. While spinning around his loosely tied platinum blonde hair whipped around with his movements, his long white robes were brushing against his slender soft pale legs. He then started to feel dizzy and so he decided to sit down on the soft green grass, his legs were off to the side while humming a lovely melody. Unaware that his life will change. StainedCrimson
Aidechos pauses and stares at Zeus but when the other vanishes he lets out a long low growl. True love? Find it in sixty days? Even for a god that's all but impossible! The air starts to shake from his growing anger, which from the day he's had is understandable. Storming off he heads in a random directions uncaring of where he ends up, but woe to the unfortunate soul he first stumbles upon for they will suffer the brunt of his wrath. Unknowingly he's headed in the direction where the innocent human was enjoying the fine weather, singing carefree and happy. By the time he can hear the singing faintly in the distance, Aidechos had already been confronted by two would be bandits. Thinking they could take the lone man on, they tried to rob him seeing only the fine clothing and ignoring the inner sense of terror and instinct to run. Needless to say they did not survive though he did not sink so low as to use his powers on the humans, no... That would have been much less satisfying than beating them with his own fists. Still, the outlet only skimmed off a small portion of his anger and so he pushes forward towards the sound intent on sharing his outrage with all he comes across until such a time as the rage has cooled. Bursting out into the clearing he sets his gaze on the source of the voice and stills. His anger momentarily forgotten, he takes in the sight greeting him as if uncertain to whether or not it truly is there.
kittypanda
Long slightly loose platinum blonde locks danced slightly in the wind around the pale skinned male. The sent of roses was coming from the young man who was unaware of the other's presents. He stopped humming and started to pluck at the flowers around him making bracelets of white and yellow flowers before he once again started to sing, his voice sounded like bells chiming in perfect harmony. "Oh, save me from this life~ Bring me up into the heavens above..." He sounded like he was wanting to be swept away. But he stopped singing when he felt eyes on him. He turned his head over his shoulder and saw a man standing there in dark glamours robes- like the man was very wealthy. His silvery blue eyes widened slightly as he slowly stood up, his own white robes framed his body perfectly, it also swayed with his movements. He than turned fully around to look at the man, his hands were clutching the white and yellow flower bracelet tightly to his chest. He was scared due to him never seeing this man before. "W-W-Who... Are you... Sir?" His voice was just as harmonious as his singing voice. However, it did hold a slightly scared under tone.
StainedCrimson
Looking the other over, he doesn't respond right away. His anger and rage are still boiling under the surface, just waiting for an excuse to come back out so he can vent his frustrations out on the pathetic mortals. Still, this oddity of a human intrigues him and has him stepping closer for a better look before the question finally registers enough for him to glance back up into the other's eyes. "You may call me Aide for now." Deciding to not scare the mortal further by revealing his full name and lineage for now, he stops just shy of arm's reach of the other. "Why are you so far out in the woods by yourself? One such as you would be ripe pickings for bandits and rogues wondering around in these woods." He inquires having finally realized why this particular human gave him pause. This human is unique in that he can have children by either being the giver of seed or the receiver of it. kittypanda
Curiosity with a hint of fear was shown across soft pale features, frozen in place- the young beauty was afraid of moving. This man wearing glamorous robes made him freeze up. He looked like he didn't belong in the mortal world; also this man looked like he had one wicked temper. Like you shouldn't cross him and even if you did it would be the death of you. Hearing him give his name made the tense up shoulders to move down slightly. He still had his guard up. After he was looking at the man, his eyes locked onto the others' which was a strange color, never before has he seen eyes of that color before. His other words finally registered through his head. Bandits? Rouges? Oh yes, these parts do hold them- but he has yet to encounter any of them. "I... I- I am never alone... The nymph's of the woods watch over me... And I was... Just enjoying the fresh air..." His voice was soft, almost to gentle for his own good. "... Besides I haven't encountered any bandit's nor rouge's... " There was something about this man that terrified him but yet made him curious about the stranger.
StainedCrimson
"Nymphs aren't known for their fighting prowess. They might warn you soon enough to be able to slip away, but there are other things they can't protect you against. One such as you must be highly sought after. You might think about finding a guard of some kind for when the nymphs fail to keep you safe if for no other reason than for the peace of mind of those who care for you." He cautions, as he speaks his temper continues to cool down to where it's no longer right under the surface. Glancing around he looks up briefly before letting out a long breath. "I think it best you head on home now. It may not be close to nighttime yet but the dark houses things even during the day lit hours." Refocusing on the one before him. "Lead the way. As thanks for helping me to reign in my temper I shall see you home safely." Straightening himself up he turns slightly to offer his arm to the other. Unlike his father Aidechos holds honor as a trait he values. That and he doesn't believe in dragging in outsiders into his mess. Particularly this pretty little human who is so unique. But he also knows that his father might not settle at simply kicking him out of the underworld, and so it would do well for them both to get far away from this spot as possible. kittypanda
The stranger was correct on every aspect. Which caused the young beauty to press his thin lips together in a deep thoughtful way. Maybe finding somebody to protect him would ease his fathers aging soul, but where would he find somebody willing to watch over him? He knew his father wouldn't live forever and that thought saddened him dearly. Unconsciously, he nodded his head- his long loose strands of platinum blonde hair moved along with the head motion. He knew the man was right, the dark does in fact house unthinkable things even in the day light. His golden saddles crunched the green grass below his feet, he slowly approached the other with caution. There was something strange about the other that didn't seem quite right with him, however, he might as well have the man escort him home. Soft small hands grasped onto the extended arm. The white and yellow flower bracelets were still the beauties hand. He looked up at the tall man and gave him a soft wry smile, sudden realization crossed through silvery blue eyes, "Oh my, where are my manners!" He removed one hand from the mans arm to touch his lightly pinked cheek. "My name is Terra by the way!" His voice was light and airy. How could he forget to introduce himself.? As they were walking it became quiet, minus the birds chirping happily, and the high noon sun was shinning even brighter than before. To Terra, this was nice- even though his guard was up still. Up above in the heavens the Gods were watching the two males, in the bronze basin. Zeus looked quite surprised to see this, not even being in the mortal realm for more than a few hours and his nephew was walking with a mortal- not just any mortal but a blessed one. StainedCrimson
Aidechos gives Terra a small tolerant smile. "It is a pleasure to meet you Terra. And I'm sure you were merely waylaid by the sudden appearance of a stranger on your afternoon." He says lightly, the tone not at all indicating any negative feelings held toward the matter. On the whole he pays the human little mind as his main focus is keeping an eye out for any of his father's creatures that might have been sent after him. While keeping his gaze shifting around for any sign of danger, he decides to ask Terra about his location to get an idea of just where he is and what he's in for. "Terra, I find myself in a bit of a situation. I'm new to the region and have recently lost touch with my home and so need to find some lodging and work until I can go back. How far is it to the nearest town?" He glances down towards the pretty male on his arm for a moment before continuing to survey the area. Even though he finds the human attractive, he doesn't dare think that he'll have any contact with him after he's dropped off at his home. Still, he wouldn't mind being around the smaller pretty male for a bit longer. The blessings placed on him is obvious from the voice, the looks and of course the ability to have children. He considers it a good sign to find such a person so early on, but nothing more than that.
kittypanda
"Oh no, the pleasure is all mine, Aide. And you are right, I was quite caught off guard to have a stranger stumble upon my afternoon." A soft laugh that sounded more like a soft bell chiming left the young beauties thin lips. He noticed that the stranger was preoccupied with something- he kept looking around as if something or someone was going to attack. It made him very curious about the man's actions, silvery blue eyes watched the man carefully- studying his movements for a few minutes before looking ahead of him. Lines appeared on the young man's forehead as he was thinking about what the other had just said. He was new to the region, he had no place for lodging and looking for work- pale fingers started to tap a small chin. "Well the nearest town is Agridia... Which is a twelve days journey... Um... As for lodging and work... If you would like- I could ask my father... Since he is getting old and it is getting harder for him to work on the farm..." He spoke lightly while looking back up at the man with a sweet and innocent smile gracing his lips. In the heavy brush of trees- hiding in the shadows were serpent like creatures that were slithering quite quickly to the location of where the two were at. Aidechos was wise in looking around since Hades did in fact send some of his creatures after his son. Thus, the serpent creatures that were now moving along side of the demi-god and blessed mortal. They were hiding in the shadows waiting for the perfect moment to attack.
StainedCrimson
Aidechos frowns slightly hearing the information. Twelve days? Even though he could easily cut the travel time, it wouldn't be enough to make it safe for his well-being. Hearing the other mention working on the farm he slowly nods. If nothing else he can help out just long enough until they go to town to trade and get needed items, and just go with so he can get a ride. "That would be appreciated Terra, thank you." He says after a few moments. Suddenly he stiffens sensing the creatures his father has sent. Leaning over slightly to whisper in the human's ear so the creatures can't easily hear him, he starts to talk. "How much farther until your home Terra?" His voice is little more than a breathed whisper into Terra's ear while his eyes continue to shift between the areas he can sense the creatures. He'll do his best to protect the innocent human, but there's a limit to what he can do without a real weapon. That's not to say he's without protection, but he's not yet ready to use his powers and give away his status just yet. A silent request to his relatives in Olympus is sent for some sort of help in fighting off the creatures. Whether in forms of a weapon or one of them killing the creatures themselves he doesn't care, but he needs time or some sort of help if he's expected to survive long enough to fulfill the terms set for him by Zeus so he can go home. kittypanda
Terra smiled softly at the other's words. "It's the very least I can do for escorting me to my home." He says with a light and sweet tone, however his movement stills when he heard something rustling in the brush of trees besides them. Was it bandits? Or rouges? But what also stilled his movements was the deep voice of the strange man whispering lowly in his soft pale ear. The hot breath that puffed over his sensitive ear caused a reaction to come from the young platinum blonde haired beauty. His pale cheeks grew slightly warm, staining them a light shade of pink. "I-I-It's just over the hill..." His voice was much lighter than before, his silvery blue eyes widened when he heard a horrific hissing sound. Fear was soon replacing the other feeling that he was having a moment ago. Shivers of terror were running through his small frame. The hissing grew louder and more fierce than before. And as if Aidechos' prays were answered a long steel sword was plunged right into a tree. It came flying over both of the males heads. The steel was glittering in the sun, the hilt was made up of a strong black metal that looked quite rare- the hilt also held blood red rubies on both sides of the black metal. StainedCrimson
Swiftly moving he grabs the sword and seems to naturally adjust to it. A hand goes out to pull Terra behind Aidechos while he looks around to figure out just where the hissing sounds are coming from. "Stay close to me. Make sure that no matter what happens you don't get separated from me and do what I say exactly when I say it." He orders the pretty male while doing a slow circle around his self-imposed charge, back to him, to keep an eye out for the creatures. "I should be able to handle these ones easily enough, however, there are sure to be more. When I give the word be prepared to run." He says in a steady low tone before suddenly tightening his grip on the sword and attacks the first creature that comes out at them. In one graceful flowing move he splits the creature in two along the length of its body before quickly resuming his stance in front of Terra. Knowing this type of creature usually comes in pairs at the minimum he quickly surveys looking for the second one while hoping that's all they currently have to deal with at the moment. Even with the help given to him from his more, currently, benevolent family members there's only so much he can handle before being overwhelmed. Taking a deep breath he attacks the next one when it finally appears, quickly killing it before grabbing Terra's hand in his and starts to run in the direction they'd been heading. "Try to keep up. I can't fight off any others if I have to carry you."
