He gave a contented sigh, his forearm resting over his eyes, the softness of the couch moulding against his back. It was so comfortable he was tempted to sleep here. He peeked his eyes out from above his arm to look out the bay windows, once again marvelling at how lucky he was to have scored this house. It was late afternoon, the sun had already begun its descent to the earth, and soon enough it would be night. Night. Where he had a job to do, and that was killing Vampires. He was older now, he'd already left the Academy, but that didn't mean that he was out of a job. He still patrolled the grounds of the school to ensure that the day students didn't try sneak a peak at the night students, they never realised just how much danger they were in... He tsked to himself and got up, padding over to the windows to draw the heavy curtains, blocking out the sun completely. The room became dark and cool, just the way he liked it and he lay back on the couch, staring at the ceiling. The House was big, so many rooms even though he only used one, but it was his house. He had to remain perfectally still while Zero was in, which was hard to do since he wasn't one to be still for so long...he wondered in his mind when Zero would leave...he preyed it'd be soon... The sun was just beginning to set; it was nearly time for him to start patrolling the grounds of the Academy. His lip curled at the thought of babysitting the new vampires, but he told himself, that at least he could keep an eye on them. He would check with the Headmaster to see if there were any Hunter jobs for him to do when he was finished; it had been a while since he had a proper Hunter job, destroying a vampire that had gone rogue was a rather satisfying thing for him, regardless how helpful it was to the Nobel families. He wasn't it doing it for them, he was doing it for himself. He was glad that the house was within walking distance to the Academy; it wouldn't take him very long to get there. He was eatting something he had with him, just some chocolate but it was more then enough at the moment. "Thank godness....I'm free to roam for a bit, but I can't go outside.....shit....."
