Humans have crossed the line... with the countless forests disappearing, junk in the oceans, harmful gasses in the atmosphere, disgusting trash littering the streets... they had killed mother nature, she was a spirit that guarded the Human race and tried to teach them to be kinder, to care about were they live...but we refused to learn and before she died nature had consumed us all...

 

Leaving behind her son and daughter...to rule over humans until they saw there error of there ways...

Personality: Dae could be described as a wild teen. He is very clever, active, and loud, not easily embarrassed and very straightforward. He barely got manners, and can be rather rude to people. Despite his pretty face, he is very strong, and intelligent. He likes to order people around, and expects them to follow his orders without protest. He can be cruel when needed, and even heartless. He is also a mayor flirt.

Bio: Dae is an orphan. He grew up with his "big brother", but the other boy was eaten by a human eating plant a few years prior the story. Soon after, he decided to join up with a group of men with the ability to kill this plants and fight them, the goal; survival. They taught him the skills needed to fight and survive in this hell of a world. Eventually, he became one of he leaders of this organization, respected and admired, but also feared.

 

 

Two figures ran through the forest of vines as fast as they could. Night was falling fast upon them, the sky was starting to darken, and soon, they would have no chance of survival. The two children ran as fast as they could towards their new hide out. The two orphans, alone in the world, with no one, other than themselves to help them. The younger of the two panted hard as he tried to catch up with his "big brother". The other turned around when he heard the small child trip.

 

"Dae! Hurry! There no ti-" The other shouted, and his eyes widen in surprise at the sight in front of him. Their surrounding suddenly became much lighter, the moon shining upon them. The older boy shook his head in fear and gave a few steps back slowly, unable to react.

 

"Big brother?..." The raven young boy, around the age of 12, stared at his brother in confusion.

 

"Dont...dont move Dae..." The older boy said, finally regaining his composure. He took out a small knife from his pocket and swallowed hard. "Dae..when I finish counting to three...run, do you hear me?" The small boy nodded at the orders, and time seemed to stop around them. "One..." He started. "Two..." He approached slowly. "NOW DAE RUN!" The older boy shouted loudly and charged at the huge human eating plant behind the small child.

Dae woke up from the horrible nightmare. He was sweating, his dampened hair sticking to the sides of his handsome face. There were remaining of tears at the edge of his eyes, and his face was pale. He clenched his teeth in annoyance and passed a hand through his long, dark hair, making a small "tsk" sound as he did so.

 

Soon, he was up, showered and ready to start the day. They were going out to hunt for food that morning, and he was in charge of the operation. He walked down the stairs of the hide out, a big building with many rooms and many people living there.

 

"Dae! You are up! Breakfast is ready!" A sweet girl called out already serving him.

 

"You are late!" One of his friends reminding him, a grin playing on his lips.

 

Dae approached the window, now holding a cup of strange juice in his hand, and stared out the window. "What a fine morning indeed..." He mumbled.

Vine sat at the edge of the underground lake. His home was beneath the humans that struggled to survive. He dipped his feet into the cooling water... splashing a little...

The water a shimmering bright blue.

 

He knew the humans would be hunting for food. He had been watching a few of them for months now... they seemed so scary... everything the humans killed that was nature he could feel it...a stinging pain went threw out his body. Every vine cut with their knives, every flower plucked and pulled petal by petal...every burning forest demolished.

 

His sister hated the humans...there were times were Vine had tried speaking to his sister about meeting the humans and she refused saying.

"THEY KILLED MOTHER! Do you think if you met them They couldn't kill you too?! Why do you think mother left us the man eating plants! It was for our protection. I know you think humans have a good side to them but they don't.. every day they hurt us... burn our family. Stay away from them Vine...humans are savages... monsters in human skin..."

 

She had told him...

He sighed staring at his reflection...

"tweet tweet"

Vine paused hearing LaLa. His bird friend.

"LaLa...how are you?"

The little yellow bird sat on his shoulder snuggling into his neck. Vine giggled a little as the bird cheered away.

" I understand..the humans are heading out...thank you LaLa.."

He kissed the birds little head and quickly headed out of the underground cave..the vines taking him up to the ground floor...

He smiled kissing the vine as thank you and climbed up a huge tree.. with ease...so he could watch the humans from down below.

 

Humans had no clue of what him and sister were or looked like... before his mother died she told all humans that she left her children behind.

A group of men ran uniformly through the forest of vines, their eyes alert for the danger that was to come. They halted, now deep inside the forest, a nest of eating human plants right in front of them. They forcefully needed to pass through them in order to reach their destination. Dae took a deep breath and glared at the plants, his obvious hate for them showing.

 

"Men! Get Ready!" He ordered taking out his gun as well. He waited till everyone was ready and gave the order to strike them down. The men rushed to the plants, some of them being devoured by the monsters immediately. "Stop!" Dae ordered and everyone backed away. "Move silently and keep your distance...they know your location by the sounds you make. Not matter what, dont touch the ground and aim inside their mouth!"Dae ordered and everyone took their stance.

 

It took an hour and many casualties before the plants were completely wiped out. Many of the men were injured, some missing their limbs and couldn't go any further. Dae stared down at one of his men, he was missing a leg and an arm. The man eyes widen and he smiled sadly, then closed his eyes. Dae cursed softly, that he had to do this to his own people, it saddened him, but he couldn't risk the lives of the one that were still alive, and his men understood that. They all knew that once they become a burden, they would be disregarded for the sake of everyone else.

 

"I am sorry..." The raven man mumbled softly, then shot the man straight in the forehead. The man head blew up, some of his blood touching the delicate features of his leader. Dae shook his head and looked away at the disgusting sight. "Move it.." He ordered and left, the surviving group following right behind him.

They had reached the hunting area a while ago and were now almost done. Dae leaned against the wall, a bag full of edible meat from eccentric animals resting beside him. His mind flashed back tot hat morning and the many deaths he had witnessed at the hands of the men eating plants, then his nightmare...

 

He was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard one of his men scream, followed by terrifying shout for help and the sound of the ground breaking. A thick part of a vine wrapped itself around one of the men squeezing him to death, while another part threw them out of the way.

 

"AHH!" Dae heard one his friends, his right hand man, screaming. He quickly ran toward him and tried to cut the thick vine around him, to no use. The plant slowly opened its way, about to swallow the man, but Dae shot the thin part of the elongated vine, and this one let go of his friend. "DAE! WACHT OUT!" He heard his friend scream, but too late, the vine had now captured him. Dae panted softly, quickly running out of breath.

 

'Someone....help...i dont wanna die here..not yet...not yet...dammit...' Everything went suddenly dark and he lost consciousness.

Vine carefully watched the humans. He gripped his clothing. It was a white tunic that was long enough to cover his knees... he painful watched the humans attack his friends...His family. Vine could feel the plants pain. It hurt... He looked away nuzzling into the huge tree. A tear falling from his pail beautiful face.

 

Maybe Bloom was right...

He thought having the strength to look back down and seeing all the man eating plants dead. Why were they all so violent?

His eyes wondered the bloody scene below ad stopping at two humans. One seemed very hurt. Missing limps...why the other one was quite handsome but he pulled out his gun... why would he do such a thing?

 

Vine watched in horror.

"I am sorry..." [/Quote]

And he heard the gun fire... Vine covered his mouth In utter fear. How could you kill your own kind! You breathed the same air! You walked on the same ground! Were you not family?

Vine stood, his hands shaking slightly, not wanting to see anymore horror.

Too scared to go down he started jumping from tree to tree running fast when He heard more screams. He stopped in his tracks glancing down and seeing the humans being attacked once again after killing all those animals.

no... that's what they deserve... don't you dare help them Vine! There monsters! Don't help them! Don't pity them!

But as his eyes wondered back to the ground He saw the same human that ruthlessly killed his own kind save someone else... Vine stared... confused... humans were strange. To kill one of your own...and then suddenly save one of your own.. were they mad? But the leader was caught. He seemed to be the leader anyway since He lead the humans. Telling them What to do, and where to go... vine took a deep breath...

 

He couldn't help it! He couldn't help but save these savages.

"STOP!"

He yelled- and the huge man eating plant did as it was told setting the human down. Vine jumped down from the extremely high branch, landing perfectly beside the leader of the humans who had blacked out. He gazed at the unconious man... he had never been this close to one...

"Dae! DAE!"

He panicked hearing foot steps. He had thought the humans retreated but...

Scared Vine snuck into the grass vanishing... only leaving behind a glowing blue flower. A blue Angel- a rare flower that could only be found in the high mountains miles and miles away from humans.. hidden and growing in cold icy snow..

Surrounding the beautiful flower was a hand full of snow.. to help keep it alive. It was so unreal!

A blue Angel in the hot humid forest!

He had left it behind so if the human was hurt...he'd be ok..

 

The man eating plant had left...leaving the humans safe...for now....

Vine sat beside the water fall.. in his underground cave paradise. He was curled up in a ball. Thinking about what he just saw.

Dae.... so... that's his name..

He wondered if Dae was ok... did he see him? Did he use the blue Angel to heal himself? Vine's weakness was that he was too kind hearted, too curious, Too forgiving..and his sister worried that it would kill him one day...

"Dae! Dae!"

 

Voices....He heard voices calling his name, but he refused to open his eyes...

 

Tired....His body was in pain, breathing was difficult....

 

Warmth....Why was there a sudden comfortable feeling, like a warm hug...

 

"DAE!" The raven finally opened his eyes, his long lashes fluttering for a moment as his vision adjusted. He stared at the face of his friend, and the worried eyes of the other men. 'Why that face?...what's going on..?' He thought, lost in time, then flashes of the events from before he went unconscious slowly flooded into his mind. He sat up abruptly, causing everyone else to jump back in surprise.

 

"The plant! Where is the fucking plant!?" He asked all of a sudden, his eyes glancing everywhere in alert. His men stared at him shocked, then broke in laughter at their leader's reaction. Dae glared at them and they shut up quickly.

 

"My friend, the plant disappeared...I dont know how it happened but" His friend smiled and patted his shoulder. "I am just glad we didn't lost you." Dae eyes widen and he grinned.

 

"I wont die that easily.." The raven replied and stood up carefully. His body felt numb and he was slightly dizzy. His friend helped him support himself and they all left the place and headed back to the hide out. Before leaving, Dae glanced back for a moment...he felt something...a familiar presence behind them.

 

Before long he passed out again...

The next time the raven woke up, he was back in his bedroom at the hide out. Surprisingly his headache had finally left him, and he was feeling just fine. Beside him was a beautiful blue flower that he recognized as a rare healing type. It was extremely difficult to get one now days.

 

The door to his bedroom opened and the girl from that morning came in. Her name is Mae, and she takes care of everyone at the hide out, like a big sister. She placed the tray of food she was carrying on the table, and ran to hug Dae.

 

"Oh Dae! I am so glad you are awake! When James showed up with you in his arms, I thought you were dead for sure!" Mae said, her concern showing in her teary eyes. Dae smiled and pushed her away gently.

 

"I am alright Mae, nothin' serious." He reassured her with a smile and glanced to the side. "That flower...where did you got that flower?" Dae asked intrigued.

 

"That?..hmm..James said he found it right next to your body when you fell unconscious.." The brunette explained in deep thought. Dae kept staring at the wild flower suspiciously. "Why? Is something wrong with that flower?" She asked noticing his uneasiness. Dae shook his head and smiled.

 

"Nothin' wrong, I must be over thinking things." He replied and stretched. "Now...where is my food? I am starving!" He exclaimed and they both laughed.

Night soon came again. Dae was sleeping soundly in his room, the blue flower on his night table. The night breeze flew into the room by the opened window, making the curtains move slowly, mysteriously...

In another town far away humans were setting a large forest on fire. The lush green forests turning into a bright burning blaze of yellows,reds, and oranges. Bloom watched from a high mountain. You could see the fire so clearly at night. It was as if it was day. Tears fell from the girls face.

She heard the plants screams... she felt there suffering... the plants made a shrieking sound like fingernails on a chalkboard. Even Vine felt in deep underground...

Bloom and Vine were connected to every plant...they felt everything...

 

Bloom felt a tug on her dress and glanced to her side finding a large man eating plant beside her...snuggling into her as if to comfort The crying girl...

"thank you..."

Het eyes fluttering back to the large fire...

Humans will never learn their place... there monsters... how could mother ever ask us to help these people..I can not show them mercy...

She thought petting her plant friend... Her eyes glowed a menacing green as the grass that the Humans stepped on started grabbing them. Wraping themselves around the humans legs...yanking them into the ground... the brown dirt to suffocate.

The night air Was suddenly filling with screams.

"AHHH!!" "HELP!" " WHAT THE HELLS GOING ON!"

"AGGGH!! "AHHHHHHHHHHHH"

it was rather sad...but it was music to Blooms ears... and when it became dead silent, she knew it was done..her eyes returning to there sparking green...

And rain suddenly hit the earth...putting out the roaring flames in minutes....

It was a cold night....it was....a sad night.

That very same town sent a messager to Dae's village. Thinking there group went missing...and not knowing that they all were dead.

He banged on Dae's door begging.

"Please help us look for them! My son was in that group! He's only just a boy! Please oh please! "

That night they had lost 38 men...some fathers, husband, teenagers, brothers, lovers. The man was in tears...not knowing the utter truth...

Vine was sleeping soundly in a flower meadow. Surrounds by dazzling colors and laying on soft grass...not knowing about his sister's doing. There mother had made it perfectly clear that they were not to harm humans. They had no right to kill, that was the man eating plants job. They were suppose to be the hope For the humans... So killing them was forbiddon...even if a human hurt you...Vine and Bloom were never to harm them...

Dae was eating breakfast with the others when the banging on the hide-out's door happened. Whoever was knocking so persistently seemed to have an emergency by the way he was shouting, loud enough to wake up everyone in the building. The raven sighed and motioned for his men to open the door. The huge wooden door could only be open from the inside, much like those of old castles. Slowly, the door open to let the strangers inside and closed again, threatening to keep captured between the building's tall walls whoever was inside. The group of men looked around a bit scared, it was their first time in the hide-out. There were many rumors of the building and its violent people throughout the different towns, but not many had dared approach it till now. Dae looked up from the plate of soup he was eating and motioned for the group of villagers to come closer. The leader of the group, the old man who had lost his young son, nodded to the others and was the one to speak.

 

"How may I help you gentlemen?" The raven asked trying to sound diplomatic, but the look on his face said the contrary. His deep, hazel eyes seemed to study the group of men suspiciously. His men also held some animosity in their movements scaring the villagers off. The old man stuttered as he spoke, but kept a determined look on his face.

 

"Yesterday, we headed out to trade with another villages...we split into two groups and headed opposite ways" The man seemed deeply affected as he narrated the story. "Then...then...the other group..we were supposed to meet back at the village entrance by night..but they never showed up!" The man cried loudly. "We headed out this morning..but we were too scared to cross the forest by ourselves...please..please!..help us!" The man got on his knees as he plead to the raven for help. "They might still be alive! I am sure they are alive! Please! My son...he is just a teenager!" Tears slid down his old cheeks as he pleaded for his young son's life. Dae stared at the old man in complete silence, his heart hurting. He knew how it felt to lose someone you hold dear to those monsters.

 

The raven motioned for the man to stand up and stared at him and the rest of the group in all seriousness. "Dont worry, we'll look for them." He promised, and the man smiled and bowed down grateful. "Please...stand up. Dont worry alright, we'll find them." Dae grinned brightly and stood up. "Mae! Prepare some food to take with us please." The young girl nodded at his command and got to work. He stared at his men, and they all knew what to do without him saying it. "We'll set out in an hour!"

"Dae...please be careful.." Mae told him clearly concerned, her delicate hand caressing his tan cheek. Dae smiled and kissed the back of her hand while grinning like an idiot.

 

"We'll be alright. Dont worry. When I am back, you better have one of those delicious cakes of...what was it called?...well that thing....have one for me?" The raven said and smiled at the young girl. His eyes widen, when all of a sudden a pair of soft, rosy lips were pressing against his own manly ones. The girl's hand were holding his head in place, and he couldn't move, nor did he have any intention of doing so. When she finally pulled away, she was blushing cutely, and so was he.

 

"Dont die." She said and he smiled at her, then the group left.

The group came to a stop after two hours of long traveling. They were immersed deep into the forest at this time. The area they were in seemed a bit run down, the plants there didn't looked nearly as lively as the rest of the forest. There must have been a fight there, for there was a big empty space right in front of them, that the forest seemed to have missed when regrowing. Near them, laid an old, dusted boot. The villager from before suddenly ran passed Dae and picked up the object, tears falling from his watery eyes.

 

"My son!" The man from before shouted. Dae glanced at the men in despair, his eyes alert to any sign of a surprise attack.

Vine was walking outside... his bare feet againest the soft grass.. it was hard to breath a little because vine could smell the burned plants. He wanted to go to were the fire happened and regrow that area... as he walked he sang no realizing that Humans were close by... and could hear him.

"Deep in forest were dangers lays~... lurking at ever Bush a stray~.... if you close your eyes and listen you just might hear...there songs they sing for you to hear~..."

You could tell it was a boy singing and one who had an extraordinary voice. Soft and serene...

 

One of the villagers hushed everyone.

"Guys listen! "

The boys voice grew closer and closer...

 

Vine stopped singing when LaLa suddenly came out of no were...and was chirping like crazy.

"Hey.. wait I can't understand you when your talking so fast"

"Tweet! Tweet Tweet Tweet!

Vine's eyes widened.

"There a humans near by?! T-thank you LaLa I'll leave right now"

But just when he turned he heard the sound of a twig breaking and turned as a human emerged from a Bush making eye connect with him. And the human quickly pointed his firearm straight at him..

Vine looked strange of course..

Wearing a white tunic with no stains or dirt what so ever...having Mystikal snow white hair and abnormal light blue eyes. He was barefoot and there were small vines wrapped along his legs.

"W-What the hell are you?"

The guy glared.

"GUYS! I found something! "

Vine panicked and turned to run but the man told him not to move or he'd shoot... he was terrified. You could see He was scared. when he heard footsteps he Quickly disappeared into the grass underneath...

Reappearing up high in a huge tree just above the man..he could see the humans now looking for him..

 

What was he to do now? The humans saw him... they could kill him...wouldn't they? Vine noticed Dae and bit his lip... he was here too?

"There!!!"

A human spotted him in a tree and out of no were fired.

The force of the bullet made Vine fall back.. it was strange because it felt like everything was going in slow motion. He felt a sharp pain in his shoulder as he fell head first from the 10 story tree. Everything speeding up as Vine landed head first on the ground... unconscious from the high fall...

Small plants started to wrap around the boys body quickly trying to pull him underground before the humans got to him...

Immediately Bloom knew her brother Was in trouble.

Dae watched the body of the creature fall cutting through the air like a sharp knife. His eyes widen as plants wrapped around the boy trying to soften the fall. The group of humans stared at the phenomenon, full of fear and anticipation.

A few minutes prior the falling, the group had been standing around in that empty space. Dae had been inspectioning the boot, and some of the men were walking around looking for clues. They were all in high alert. The forest looked so peaceful it was scary, like at any moment, one of the men eating plates would appear and that would be the end of it for them all. Suddenly, one of the men began shouting, followed by they all running to his aid. The man insisted he had seen something, a monster...a monster that looked human. What kind of new dangerous predator would appear this time? Was this their punishment for survival.

 

A man pointed to one of the trees. The raven leader quickly looked up, and his eyes widen when he saw a seemingly human figure standing there, staring down at them. He thought they were done for sure, but then one of the men fired, taking them all by surprise. Even more surprising was when the bullet his the target on his shoulder, and like a wounded bird, the creature fell, fast...

The men got ready to shoot again. The leader of the villagers hid himself behind Dae and kept screaming hysterically "Over with that monster! Shoot! Hurry!" The raven shoved the man aside roughly and ordered his men to stop. He grabbed one of the hand guns from another human and shot at the vines instead of the boy. He kept on shooting till he managed to break them, and the body fell full force down. Dae caught him in time, dislocating his shoulder at the same time. He held back a groan of pain and held the unconscious body protectively.

 

His eyes fell on the beautiful face of the creature, then on the soft skin, and he felt his heart starting to pound faster against his chest. Dae looked away for a moment and gave the order to head back home.

"Dae!" Mae shouted out loud from her balcony when she saw the group approached from a distance. She quickly headed downstairs to greet them but stopped on her tracks when she saw what Dae was holding in his arms. "W-who..is that naked boy?" She asked softly. Dae shook her head and mumbled a soft "I'll tell u later" as he walked passed her. He headed to his own room and laid down the boy on his bed. He blushed softly as he took a closer look, but quickly covered the creature with a blanket. He observed the wound for a moment, and went to look for a first aid kit in the closet. Quickly he put on a pair of gloves and took out surgical equipment to take out the bullet.

 

He cut the soft skin precisely and took care of the wound by himself. He had done it before, his hand wasnt shaking, and he seemed concentrated, serious even. After two hours, he was done. Sweat ran down his forehead as he pulled away, a victorious smirk on his face.

 

"How was it?" Mae asked as she came into the room with a tray of food and water.

 

"He'll be fine, let's talk outside." The raven said and they both left the room.

Vine had no idea he was in the enemies hands. The boys wound was strange, the boy bled yes. But it wasn't blood. It was a gooey green substance. And it appeared as if the boy was slowly healing himself... having no clue he was in Dae's home... in a human village,

 

What would happen to him when the other humans found out what he was?

Shortly after Dae left. Vine slowly awakened, he opened those strange but alluring light blue eyes. He sat up trying to remember what happened when he felt a strange thing on his body. It was the blanket...tho he had no idea what it was. He quickly pulled it off him thinking it make hurt him. He stared around seeing this strange new environment, and terror grew on his face.

 

There were no plants near buy... he was surround ...stuck in a room... contained.. he never been contained before ... this place was too small! he was accustomed to the open forest... if Vine had a heart beat it would be racing by now... the boy started to panic breathing faster.

He got out of the bed desperate to find a way out.. and when that failed...he screamed.. his eyes watering as he held himself... the humans had captured him! They would certainly tortured him! Or kill him!

"BLOOM?! LALA?! FRIENDS! Help me!!! Please help!!! Scared! I'm scared!!!"

He cried. He took a step back as he heard foot steps... He fell back onto the floor trembling as he cowered in a corner... curled up into a ball.

Poor Vine....

Terrified of what came for him... the humans He was once so interested in... was now what he extremely feared...

Dae and Mae heard a voice coming from the room. The two alarmed individuals made their way down the hallway to the very last room, and quickly opened it. Their eyes widen when they found the terrified creature, awake, and shouting for help. Dae stared at the stranger in his room for a while deciding on the best approach. The boy seemed terrified, and Dae could understand why. He didn't behaved like a normal human, which lead him to think that he had grown up in a strange manner. The scene of the falling and the vines trying to help the boy replayed in his head over and over again. He still couldn't make out anything of it.

 

The raven's eyes fell on the previously opened wound. The wound was healing at an incredible rate. Just a few hours ago, it had been "bleeding"and horrendous, and now it was almost non-visible as if it had never been there to begin with. The skin was closing on its own, leaving no trace of a scar behind. There was also the weird substance he had considered as the creature's blood, green and slimy, just like that of a plant. Many incoherent thoughts ran through the male's mind, but he chose to shove it aside for the meantime. Mae was still right next to him, her face displaying a mixture of feelings. She seemed to be scared but at the same time, Dae could tell she probably wanted to run and hug the beautiful and fragile looking boy.

 

"What should we do with him?" The girl finally asked, seemingly more calm. Dae thought about it for a few minutes. The white haired male seemed in a trance. For him, humans were probably as much of an alien as he was to them, so they had to be careful not to scare him off. The leader approached the creature slowly, giving no sign of aggression towards him. His face was serious, and his dark eyes were inspecting the body in front of him with more than just a little curiosity. The boy seemed otherworldly, so alike and yet so different.

 

"Dont be scared, we wont hurt you" Dae insisted, his hands reaching out to the other male carefully. His eyes traced down the silk looking skin, creating a bit of desire in his body, but he kept it at bay. He grabbed the blanket the boy had been previously using and offered it to the creature. "Why dont you cover yourself? In this place, walking around naked...is not seen in a very good way." The dark haired man tried to explain while chuckling. "Mae, go get some clothes for him, and anything else he might need." The girl nodded and quickly left the room, closing the door behind her with a loud slam sound.

 

The two men stood alone in the room in awkward silence, till Dae finally broke the ice. "What are you? Where did you came from? Why did you attacked us?" The raven asked, his eyes glowing with doubts. "You were injured, so we brought you here. I tended to your wound, and..." he stared at the wound once again, "it seems to be healing nicely..." He commented trying to sound as natural as possible so that he wouldn't offend the other man. "I have never seen someone like you before, so close with those monsters....however, unlike us, they didn't attacked you, they were helping you...perhaps, you are one of them too but has simply taken human form.." Dae inquired and all of a sudden had the boy pressed against the wall. "Perhaps...it wasn't a very good idea to bring you here...what do you say?" He squeezed the boy neck tightly leaving enough room only for him to speak.

Vine hid his face from the humans as they came into the room.. simply staring at him as if he was a freak. He heard the girl speak. Indeed. What would they do with him?

He slowly glanced at Dae, who was carefully reaching out to him. The human offered him the strange material he had previously pushed away. The boy shook his head. Not dare excepting it. Having something like that was new to him...

Vine refused again not making eye connect with Dae. Staying in his corner that he thought he was safe in at the moment... he knew this human was mad. He had killed his own kind and then turned around saving another.

 

He knew this man might hurt him...kill him even. He did not trust him. When the girl left the room he fell silent like on a moonlit night, until Dae broke it by asking him questions. The entire time he was watching him...making vine get goosebumps.

What are you? Where did you come from? Why did you attacked us?"[/Quote]

Vine flinch hearing Dae say he attacked him. He looked at the human, still afraid and yet slightly offended.

"I d-did n-no such thing! "

He yelled. It was the humans That attacked him.

The boy fell silent again. He wasn't human...of course he'd heal fast...

Vine froze... Was the human serious? He bit his lip looking back at Dae and flinched as he felt the human pressed him againest the wall, choking him. Vine's eyes watered, as his trembling hands desperately tried to claw at the man's hand.

"Perhaps...it wasn't a very good idea to bring you here...what do you say?" [/Quote]

The boy gasped- whimpering.

"S..stop.."

He managed, struggling againest the human...

Fear taking over his entire body..

"S..stop! Y..your...the m-monsters."

He clenched his eyes shut scared.

"L..let me...let me go.."

He whispers struggling to get air..

Dae's long fingers tighten around the slender neck for a moment. His eyes fixed sternly on that beautiful face that begged for oxygen, and the watery blue eyes so full of fear. He finally soften his gaze on the creature and released him, letting the delicate body fall to the floor. The room was then filled with silent for what seemed like an eternity, till the dark haired male spoke up.

 

"You say we are monsters? Those plants killed my people...killed my brother...killed everything I ever had, and we are the monsters? You dont know what you are saying..." Dae replied through gritted teeth and looked away. Mae knocked on the door at that moment, and the human let her in. She noticed the tension in the air but made no comment about it. Instead she nodded to Dae and pushed him out of the room forcefully. "What are you-" She interrupted him and shook her finger in his face like she would to a little kid.

 

"Let him be. The poor thing is scared of you, and wounded! You men are too rough. I'll let you interrogate him later, leave for now." She said and slammed the door shut before Dae could complain. A soft sigh left her thin lips, and she smiled at the boy on the corner of the room. At simple glance, the creature look like a scared child, his features were human looking, although more enchanting, and he didn't looked dangerous at all. She approached him carefully and caressed his hair gently. "Dont be afraid poor thing, Dae is a rough man but he is a good man I assure you. How about we get you dressed up and ready for dinner?" She proposed and placed the clean clothes on the bed.

The raven tapped his chin impatiently. He was downstairs with his men, drinking and eating, loud music reaching his ears, but he wasn't too happy. Dae was glaring hard at the wall as if the poor thing had done something wrong. His men noticed his bad mood but did nothing to question him about it. His right hand man, James, was the only one who dared to approach him and ask. Raven stared at the blonde as said man tapped his shoulder and offered a friendly smile.

 

"What has you in such a foul mood my friend?" The kind man asked, and offered his leader and good friend another cup of wine. Dae accepted it and drank it all in one gulp.

 

"James, do you think we are monsters? Do u...think that maybe we are the ones that are wrong because we kill those plants?!" The raven asked unexpectedly, and the blonde simply stared at him calmly and in silence. "You know, that boy we picked up...he is not regular human. His wound healed faster than I have never seen...you saw his damn blood! And yet, when those blue eyes look at me...they look so innocent...so...fuck!" The dark haired male mused, his thoughts wondering back to the boy. He had no idea why he had reacted in such a harsh way towards the creature, but the thought of him being involve with his enemies made his heart shake with anger and his blood boil.

 

"I think we are fighting for survival Dae. Nobody is wron' or right...this is just life...a constant fighting for nothing..." The blonde explained and gave his friend a comforting squeeze on the shoulder. Dae smiled and patted the blonde's shoulder as well, then the two continued drinking and eating to their heart content.

In another village, during this time, a group of men carried out a meeting with the goal to come up with a plan to exterminate the men eating plants and the one responsible for directing them. They sat around a large rectangular table to discuss the newly gathered information. Another group of about 5 men walked in last. They were dressed different than the rest, and their clothes were covered with slimy liquid. They had weapons on them and looked quite terrifying.

 

"You are finally here, Research Team" An old man with white hair and beard said and gave the command for the meeting to start.

 

"Sorry for making you wait, we were finishing some "business" at the east of here. Tonight the forest seems a bit anxious." The leader of the Research Team replied as they all took a seat. "Gentlemen, i have reports of a human-looking creature living in the forest together with the plants. We dont know how many there are, but it seems more than one."

 

"Impossible!" The old man from before shouted standing up from his seat in surprise. "There is no way a human can survive out there! How did you came to this information!?" The Research Team's leader smirked and motioned for the man to sit down.

 

"Calm down gentlemen...this information was gathered by the latest of technology in our lab. The accuracy is 100%." There were gasps all over the room at this news.

 

"How should we proceed then?" The old man asked and the leader proceeded to explain his plans.

Vine's mouth was open trying to gasp for air. It hurt... He knew it. Bloom was always right. The moment he saw Dae he thought maybe he was different but...

 

He gasped taking in gulps of air as the human freed him, His body falling on the ground again. Vine held his neck, finally able to breath. He didn't dare look at the human now. He had shut down. There was no point in arguing with such barbarian's. He kept his head down, his eyes away.

Vine flinched when there was a knock at the door and human girl returned. And He didn't understand why the female suddenly pushed Dae out of the room. He gulped staying curled up in his corner. This girl...

Vine struggled to hold back His tears from spilling over. She was smiling at him? Why?

As the girl approached he Quickly tried to pull away thinking she just might try and hurt him. But when she gently creased his hair... He froze staring into her eyes.

"Dont be afraid poor thing, Dae is a rough man but he is a good man I assure you. How about we get you dressed up and ready for dinner?"[/Quote]

This girl... she acted like a ... mother...

Vine's tears spilled over as he started to sob.

Mommy! I want my mommy! Give her back! Give her back to me... I want to go home...

He thought gripping Mae's shirt and crying into the girl as if she was his mother. This was the only time he'd show weakness... he was just so scared and Mea seemed so...kind.

Bloom stood high in the trees. Birds were on the look out for Vine. The sister was extremely worried. Vine was not like her. He was frail, and shy, and... vulnerable. She was slowly starting to panic. The forest more lively then ever.Just last night The humans were burning there home and now they had took her brother?! It was unforgivable! She found herself crying in the tree tops. She screamed out for her brother.

"VINE! ...VIIIIINE! "

Her voice cracking... like a child's.

"V-Vine! ... w-we're are you?!!?!.. BROTHER! "

When she heard nothing but the wind she fell againest the tree crying... the trees vines, feeling her sorrow and pain, quickly went to comfort her as they wrapped themselves around Bloom.

Vine... please be ok. Please... please be ok.

That night... the forest was crying out. The man eating plays roaring for Vine to return...

Vine watched as Mea finished dressing him, butting up what humans call... a shirt? His crying fit over... but suddenly his gaze fell to the window hearing the forest call out to him.

".... Bloom"

He whispered, making sure the human didn't hear him as he pulled away from her staring out the window.

".......... she's crying...there crying..."

He looked at Mea, sadness on his face.

"Can't you hear it?"

It was hard for humans to hear the voices of nature but if you listened hard enough and closely, you could hear... but then again the human needed to be pure, to see that nurture wasn't the enemy but... let's be honest here...no human felt that way.

Mae held the sobbing child in his arms for a while. She had been shocked at the tears coming out of those beautiful eyes and she couldn't understand the reason behind the creature's sadness, but she understood he needed comfort. She was more than willing to be a friend, a sister even, to the mysterious boy, and so she held him till he had calmed down. Suddenly, the boy had slipped out of her arms to glance out the window. Her eyes followed him with curiosity and she stood right behind him, keeping a fairly close distance as she glanced over his shoulder.

 

"Bloom....she crying there...crying...can't you hear it?" The boy asked her in a heartbreaking tone. When he finally turned to see her, his eyes were full of pain and dispair. He seemed lost and scared, afraid of this place she has called home ever since she can remember. She wanted to put her arms around him and comfort him, but her body wouldn't budge an inch. Those deep eyes staring back at hers took her breath away and left her feeling...guilty.

 

She shook her head softly from side to side and her hand reached out to caressed the boy's cheek gently. Her feminine fingers brushed away a few strands of hair off the delicate face, and finally she was able to smile at him. "I can't hear anything....I am sorry..." She replied regretfully and hugged him, a few tears slipping out the corners of her eyes although she couldn't understand why. "But I am sure they are waiting for you...you'll be back home soon, so be strong..."She whispered softly at the edge of tears and pulled away from the warmth of the creature's body. It was incredible how a body without any real blood could feel so candid. "Come on, lets go get dinner" She proposed, her hand wrapping around his as she dragged the silver-haired out of the room and downstairs.

Mae glanced around the room full of mostly men, and finally spotted her dark haired leader talking at one of the tables. A smile spread accross her lips, glad to finally have him back, and she headed towards him dragging the mysterious creature along. Everyone in the room stared at them as they passed by wondering if that was a "new boy" or a "girl", some of the men even giving the creature's body seductive glances. They stopped in front of Dae and said raven glanced at them with utter surprise. His eyes quickly settle on the boy behind Mae, and the boy the new clothes hugged his body ever so perfectly. He noticed his feminine curves hiding under the piece of thin material, still managing somehow to look boyish, and the way the pants would attract attention to his slightly curvy hips. Then his eyes travel upward to take in again those dreamy eyes of his, and his breath was one again caught on his throat with his heart about to burst out of his chest.

 

Dae removed his stare from the two newcomers, feeling slightly uncomfortable, and looked somewhere else as he spoke.

 

"I thought he was peeing his pants from fear last time I checked. What made him suddenly come down here to this nest of wolves?" The raven inquired, a soft smirk appearing on his lips.

 

"Well, I wanted everyone to meet him, and I thought it would help him calm down to know not everyone is a barbarian around here...besides, he will be living here for a while so he better learn his way around this place." Mae replied slightly annoyed. She hadn't missed the way Dae and he other men were looking at the boy and she was feeling a bit of jealousy. Dae laughed all of a sudden and his eyes narrowed on the boy.

 

"If you dont want me to throw you out to the wolves, you better be useful around here. Seeing as I cannot let you out of my sight, you'll be helping Mae with the cooking and the cleaning and all that bullshit. You'll also become my personal assistant, and do everything I'll tell you to." The raven explained and stood up. He leaned forward and his lips closed on the boy earlobe slightly, his breath hitting the piece of skin as he whispered. "And just so you know, nobody here knows you are not human, only the ones that were there with us. Don't cause a commotion." A threat was hidden behind those worlds as he moved away to sit down once again.

 

Mae's touched the boy's shoulder apologetically, and dragged him to sit down at the table as well. "So, what's your name?" She asked the boy and everyone stared at him seemingly wanting to know as well, that included Dae. The raven ordered for some food to be brought for Mae and the boy, and a girl brought it in quickly. Their eyes all fell upon the boy awaiting an answer to the girl's question.

Vine eyes fell to the ground. How could she not hear the forest screaming for him? He didn't understand why her voice was so sad. And he himself noticed the girls tears. Were all humans different? Was she fragile? Could she some how...understand him?

Vine was quiet. He hoped the girl would keep her promise, because he certainly couldn't stay here. And what happened to him being captured... ?

"Come on, lets go get dinner"[/Quote]

He tensed as the girl took his hand and began to drag him down stairs.

"W-wait -... n-no.. no!"

But Vine had no muscles to resist her- He struggled a little But... he could never break free from her- and he fell silent as they reached the room mostly full of men.Mea leading him threw the monsters of humans to one table were Dae was. He had no idea what a table was. Or chairs....or "downstairs"

 

This was all new to him... and what he didn't know scared him.He felt everyone's eyes on him... He quickly clinged to Mea's shirt from behind refusing to move from his spot. His hair falling in his eyes as He peaked from behind her. Looking adorable as ever. His face flashing to a very light shad of pink as Dae looked him up and down. He watched this man carefully. He defiantly didn't trust him, after his attack on him- He lost all hope that he was different. He thought he was a monster.

Cooking? Cleaning? Assistant? What was this human talking about?! He flinched as the human stood up and leaned forward- his lips right next to his ear lobe his warm breath hitting his delicate soft skin.

Don't cause a commotion!? DON'T CAUSE A COMMOTION?! He had a right to do so! The other frowned as Dae moved away- had He just threatened him? He flinched at Mea's apologetic touch- He was forced to sit in this weird....thing?

 

It felt uncomfortable sitting on this chair. Since he's never sat on one before.. he looked at the ground- refusing to look up at any humans.

"So, what's your name?"[/Quote]

He heard Mea ask him. And everyone stared at him waiting for an answer. He was quiet a moment and his eyes widened slightly as a girl set something steaming in front of him. Gross!

What was that? Did humans expect him to eat this? He pushed the plate full of meat away appalled.

 

These "Clothes" on his body that clung to his skin so well felt wrong! Sitting on this strange contraction felt wrong! Being surround by these monsters felt WRONG... and yet... perhaps a little right. But he didn't feel safe giving out his name.

"..I.. don't want..to give it to you.."

He said simply, still looking away.

He could still faintly hear the plants outside. Pain and hurt all over his face.

How could they...not hear it...? I-it's hurts.. it hurts sister...

His pretty hair hiding his hurt expression.

"...I.. I can't... stay here. I refuse.. You all lie... you all kill... you all are children and you all deserved this- You will never change... you will never learn or comprehend your mistakes! You all killed my mother! I... I shall... n-not pity you when you cross into the forest and are kill, poisoned, or eaten... death... will claim a-all of you.

His voice started low and had gotten louder for a moment before it turned ominous and low.

He had TRIED!! He had tried to help humans like his mother wanted! But he was so mad!! So hurt!! So bitter now,..They could not make him stay!! C-could they?

Everyone began to whisper around them after the boy's declaration of death to humanity. Dae noticed the dirty glances the other members of the group were giving the young creature and quickly grabbed the boy's hand and dragged him out of the place abruptly. They walked passed the crowd of people, avoiding the surprise stares and gasp resulting around them as they finally made it out of that place. Mae stood up from the table but James stopped her from following the other two. She glanced at the empty space in front of her with eyes full of concern.

Two figures stood out of the building, one pressed flatly against the wall while the other man narrowed his eyes at him seemingly upset. Dae glared at the creature with scolding eyes but even then he didn't knew what to say. The boy had sounded so pained, so disappointed, and full of fear, how could he have the heart to scold him? He released the tight grip on the boy shoulder that he hadn't noticed he had been holding the entire time, and punched the wall next to him instead trying to control his anger. Intense eyes stare down the poor soul as silence took over between them.

 

"Dont ever say that in front of anybody again. You have to understand...LEARN YOUR DAMN PLACE!" Dae shouted, and although he meant no harm, his voice probably sounded terrifying for anyone near by. Again, a soft breeze passed them softening the tension between the two, and Dae's eyes soften. "Lets go back inside.." The raven murmured already turning back. he suddenly stopped and glared at the creature over his shoulder. "This time, keep your fucking mouth shut" He ordered enraged and dragged the younger male along non so gently.

A group of scientists were researching the latest discovery on the plants. They were inside a dark room with huge screens, technology humans on earth haven't even thought existed. They had cameras installed inside the forest and at the time were rewinding the videos they had taken in the last 48 hours.

 

"How is it going? Anything new?" The man from before, the leader of the Research Team; Mr. Heinz, asked intrigued. The other man shook his head, his eyes never leaving the screen. Suddenly, Mr. Heinz's eyes widen and he ordered the other man to press pause. "There! Replay that part!" The man ordered, his eyes narrowing at the screen. "What is such a small human group doing in that area? The next hour play it normally, let see what they up to" The scientist ordered and took a seat. "Hervin! Bring some coffee! We'll be working all night tonight!"

The scene that had taken place a few hours ago in the forest replayed in front of the curious eyes watching. Mr. Heinz had long since stood up from his chair and was watching the screen in disbelief. There was a creature that resemble a human between the plants! The other scientist were gaping at the image in front of them. This video was much clearer than the blurry image they had taken previously, this one completely proved their theory of a possible new enemy. "There are more of them" Mr. Heinz mumbled and he gripped the shirt tightly in excitement. "We'll set out tomorrow first thing int he morning" The man ordered, eying the white haired creature with intense lust and curiosity.

 

'He is truly beautiful....truly something...truly magnificent' He thought and laughed maniacally surprising everyone around him. He kept staring at the screen with a sickening smirk sending shivers down everyone else in the room.

Vine flinched as Dae suddenly stood and grabbed his by his arm, pulling him out side. He had heard the whispering and saw the glares he was getting but didn't care.

"S-stop it! L-let go! Were are-taking me!"

He struggled against the boys grip. And when they made it outside and the creature was flatly against the wall.. he looked away from the mean human, who glared at him.

He flinched as Dae punched the wall. Shocked by the sudden sound, He looked at Dae scared slightly.

Vine tensed being yelled out. No one has ever...EVER raised there voice at him. He gulped- scared by how easy it was to anger this human. Lean his place? What was his place?

"Lets go back inside.." [/Quote]

Vine stayed where he was...not moving. He didn't want to go back inside...

"This time, keep your fucking mouth shut"[/Quote] Dae ordered him enraged and dragged the younger male along not so gently. Vine flinched being taken inside again. He decided to be mute. He wouldn't talk anymore. And they couldn't make him!

 

Of course Vine didn't know the dangers ahead. And he still heard the forest calling for him. He was oh so worried about his twin sister. Was she scared? Was she crying?

 

At the table Vine didn't eat anything. All they had was meat. No fruits or vegetables what so ever since most of that stuff was poisoned. Vine stared down into his lap. The room was less talkative with him returning.

Mea saw the boy wasn't eating and she went to pet his head.

"Why aren't you eating? Is there nothing You like here?"

Vine quickly pushed her hand away. He no longer trusted the girl and it was obvious in his shimmering green eyes. He looked away from her fiddling with his clothes that fit him like a glove. Clearly looking uncomfortable. Mea looked hurt... being rejected by the handsome boy.

 

One of the guys at the table looked at Dae leaning into him and muttering, whispering,

"The things not talking anymore.. what did you do? You know if that research team gets a whiff of this they'll all be up our asses, he must know some things that he's not telling us. We'll look like fucking idiots if we don't get some info on him. Hell we don't even know his name. I say we make him talk... I bet you haven't had a good fuck in a while. And he's defiantly a looker. I bet a virgin too...You know a lot of the guys want a piece of him.. "

He said pulling back and glancing at Vine who Was pretended all the humans weren't even there.

"What do say Dae? "

His comrade look to his leader. Hoping he'd say yes. There must be a way to get him to talk. And a lot of the guys thought that raping him was a perfect way.
