Teesie
At the mention of her brother-in-law coming to the dinner, the woman grimaced. She had come over because she knew the two wasn't here, and now that plan was all ruined. Smiling softly to the smaller teen, Astaat kneeled to hug the short boy. "I don't think that would be such a good idea, although I do wish you a very best birthday." Kissing the forehead of her nephew's. "However, I didn't know a present to get you; so I have decided to give you three hundred bucks." Digging into her wallet to give the boy the money. Soon after she stood to walk into the kitchen, leaning against the counter to smile softly at her friend who she thought would possible be still upset with her. "I'm sorry for the trouble I caused, ok." A small, genuine smile being released. "I just came to apologize. Make sure to leave me some left overs....I'll be here tomorrow." Nodding to the snake demon before taking her leave. _______________________________ -10 Minutes Later- Opening the car door with a sigh, the white haired teen stepped out to trail to the door. His father, on the way to Abel's house, was being extremely childish. The man just couldn't make up his mind with what he would say, or do when walking in. Isaan convinced him that just walking in one's house without speaking would be rude, but what did the Realm Official leader care of being rude. Isaan wasn't much of a difference, although he was trying to make peace with Ruune and not cause the boy anymore grief. "Why don't you just act how you normally would. Don't try to fix a certain personality just for attention father." Aheal glanced up at his son's word with a frown. "Who said I would do that. Just go into the house boy." Isaan scoffed, rolling his eyes as he approached the door and knocked.
Guest cheshireArtist
Abel smiled softly as he watched Astaat leave. He wished that the fallen could stay, but considering her reaction to just hearing about the Nimparons it was probably for the best. He wished her best as she left, and turned back to the food; it was almost ready. Not even ten minutes later a knock was heard at the door, and the snake demon had to chuckle as he heard the sound of Ruune's bare feet againt the hard wood floor as he rushed to awnser it. ----- Ruune kept smiling at his aunt until she left to go speak with Abel, and then he frowned. He was really hoping she could stay...but he guessed she had her reasons. Sighing softly he walked up to his bed room and stowed away the money, not even sure what he was going to use it for. Maybe he could buy Christmas presents with it? Or maybe some cooking supplies. He had no idea. Ten minutes later he had said good bye to Astaat, and was waiting restlessly on the couch for Aheal and Isaan to arive. When he heard a knock he practically leaped from the couch. He practically ran to get the door; he didn't care if he was acting like an over excited child, he was just happy that they didn't hate him. The tiny teen opened the door, and smiled shyly up at his twin. "I'm glad you guys could come," The silver haired teen said sincerely, looking up at his twin and father, shyness over coming him again. He gestured for the two to come inside, stepping aside slightly.
Teesie
Isaan stared down at the shy fallen, completely in thought. It was quite hilarious how the smaller boy would always be so excited to see him. How he would act just from a touch from him. How the petit teen talked when asked a question by him. The official's youngest leader would be lying if he wasn't honored in the least. The actions made him feel quite flattered to be truthful. Giving a bow when invited in, Isaan waltzed past the small silver haired teen, the father following suit. Taking a seat onto the couch, the elder twin gave a yawn. Whenever he was hungry he got quite sleepy, and after a meal he would fall relentlessly to sleep. Chocolate orbs closed; the couch was surely comfortable. Taking a nap before dinner wouldn't be too harmful. Aheal eyes followed after his oldest son, a hand going up to ruffle his dyed fringes. With a small shake of the head, the man excused himself to prance into the kitchen, body structure laced with that of pride. Now standing in the door way to the eating area, the Realm Official's leader cleared his throat to get the other's attention. "I apologize for the stress that I placed upon you and my son. Forgive me for my childishness." Bowing for forgiveness, despite the fact that he was still quite upset, disappointed and hurt by the name change. Guest cheshireArtist
Ruune trailed after Isaan, and had to hold back a small giggle as the elder twin sat down to take a nap. Some things never change, do they? He sat down next to the Angel, and Isa, the self-rightous cat she was, jumped up onto Isaan of all people. She needed his leg slightly before curling up on the young Realm Official's lap like she owned it. She almost seemed to smirk at Ruu, and purred. Ruu attempted another giggle, but his small giggle still got through as he stared at his brother and the cat. ---- "I apologize for the stress that I placed upon you and my son. Forgive me for my childishness." Abel looked up from the food and over at Aheal, "You are forgiven...," He said a bit stiffly, since he was still a little angry at the man, "Dinner is almost ready, do you mind setting the table?" He had a feeling his and the angel's friendship wasn't going to be the same now...and that made the demon sad; he still had a rather strong attachment to the angel, mostly due to his feelings. Teesie
Aheal gave a nod, giving yet another small bow as he searched the area for the dishes. Once seeing the silverware, the official leader waltzed over to grab a hold of the objects, and placing them all on a napkin next to the plates he would soon set on the table. The man had seen some do this before, but he, personally, had never set a table on his own. Sure the man always thought it looked lovely, albeit he was too lazy to even care. "I really do apologize and I hope that you can surely forgive me. I know that you are still upset with me over Ruune, but you also have to take in consideration of how I feel." Guest cheshireArtist
"Yes...I have...and you had right to be angry...but Ruune had just gotten out of the hospital. You could have waited to talk about it with me in private, like adults," Abel explained with a small sigh as he removed the rice from the stove, along with the mixed vegetables. He the removed the fish from the oven, without a oven mitt since the thick, black scales covering his clawed fingers and hands protected him from getting burnt. He placed the tray with the baked fish on the counter, closing the oven with his foot. He glanced back over at Aheal with magenta eyes, hoping what he said didn't sound like he trying to talk down to the man or something. Though, through the wisdom that came with age, the snake demon did know a bit more than the Angel. Parenting was still a topic Aheal knew more about, since Abel had only been Ruune's adoptive father for about a year.
Teesie
Aheal sighed through his nose, deciding not to yell at the other male. The official wanted to make peace between them, not to make things worse than it already was. "I am not going to disagree with what you said, although I can not hold my tongue all of he time. Maybe I should have held myself back, but I couldn't. My...surname means a lot to me for many reason." Pale green orbs identical to his son's staring back to the man. "I do apologize for my recklessness though." Giving another bow before standing and grabbing the plates and setting them onto the table.
Guest cheshireArtist
"I understand that...my old surname once meant just as much to me when I was your age," The demon said, unconsciously alluding to his age again. Once he noticed he blush, slightly embaressed...he felt like such an old man when he talked like that. He was the eldest resident of the Neutral Zone, with Coyote about fifty or so years behind him. But, it was a little known fact to outsiders. He loosened the fish from the tin foil below them, and placed serving spoons in the rice and vegetables. "Dinners ready!" He called out over his shoulder so that the twins could hear him from the living room. He looked over at Aheal, gestering for him to get a plate, since they were going to serve themselves. Abel often did that since it was easier for everyone to get what they wanted that way. Abel grabbed his own plat, and hung back, waiting for everyone to get their food before getting his. -------- Ruu looked up at his adoptive father's call, and shook the elder twin slightly, "Big brother, dinner's ready," He said softly. Isa sat up on Isaan's lap, and reached with a paw and batted the teen's face lightly, not using claws thankfully, meowing loudly. Ruune couldn't help it, ge started giggling again. Teesie
At the source of a yell initiating that dinner was ready, Isaan was woken. At the shake of his body, a heavy breath released from his chest, scoffing at the feeling of a small paw hitting at his face. Chocolate orbs opened, a heated glare being thrown to the cat. It fell short at the rumble of his stomach though. Not bothering to move Isa gently from his lap, the white haired teen stood, shaking a little to make the small creature fall from him. _______________________ Aheal followed the actions of the elderly demon. He to sat aside and waited for the others to get their food before him. Pale green eyes setting on the snake creature, the angel let off a small smile. Patience and time was all it took for relationships to be mended, and he was willing to accept that if needed. The official's attention averted to the white patch of hair that came through the door way. Isaan was quickly done with preparing his plate, now deciding to sit at the table to eat without waiting for anyone else. That particular action made the father frown, albeit he said nothing. Guest cheshireArtist
Ruune fallowed his twin out into the dining room, rolling his eyes as the cat flattened her ears back and hissed after Isaan. He gabbed his own plate, and got his food, and a glass of water before sitting down beside the white haired twin. Unlike his twin, though, the smaller politely waited for everyone to be seated to eat, and just opted on sipping on his water while he waited. Ruu didn't quite know what to talk about, really, but he wanted to fill this silence that was going on between them. "Do...you want to stay and watch a movie after this...you pick," The silver haired twin asked shyly, remembering their birthday tradition. They always watched a movie on their birthday, alternating on who picked each year. It was Isaan's turn this year. Abel waited for Aheal to gab a plate, gather his food and sit down with the twins. The snake demon smiled politely at the angel, and gestured for him to get his food first.
Teesie
Aheal, viewing himself as the most dominant male in the house, depending on title, shook his head to the offer and gestured for threother to go before him. Isaan glanced up, eeing the small interaction and rolling his chocolate brown orbs. The dark colored eyes were soon set on his brother after the other asked a question. Watching a movie was a family tradition that the two had decided on when younger. Now, in this day in age, Isaan hadn't seen a movie in years. He sat speechless for a while, not knowing of what to say, before giving in. "I guess so...although I don't know what to pick. I'm not sure of what movies are out. Oh, and I advice you to eat your food. Who knows how long those two will stay at it." A frown breaking through his emotionless exterior.
Guest cheshireArtist
The tiny teen glanced back at the two adults and sighed...this could go on for ages. Turning back to look at the other he smiled lightly and explained, "We got videos on demand so you can just go through it and pick one." After that he started to eating, picking at his fish in small bits. It was good, but this is just how the tiny teen always ate. Abel raised an eyebrow at the man, and placed a hand on his hip. "No, no, I am the host, you go first,"the dark haired man said, polite smile still in place. He was not backing down, not in his own house. Abel was not a complete push over. Teesie
Aheal studied the man, deciding that he should go ahead and fix his plate. The angel didn't want to make the demonic being upset or frustrated. Nodding to the owner of the house, the official leader slowly paced pass him to fix his meal. Glancing over at his two twin sons he sighed. Neither of the two had any respect. Isaan nodded to the smaller teen, standing from the table as he carried his plate over to the counter. "That was absolutely divine." Smiling lightly, although he was surprised there wasn't a cake. No matter, Isaan didn't favor sweets that much anyway. "Come Ruu." Beckoning the petit fallen to follow him out of the dining area.
Guest cheshireArtist
Abel smiled pleasantly, and gathered his own food. It might be a bit childish, but he was a little giddy at winning that confrontation rather easily. He took a seat and smiled kindly at the man, maybe he could begin to mend their relationship now. Ruu, just finishing his food, got up to fallow his elder twin out of the room. He quickly placed his plate on top of his twin's and hurried out after Isaan. He was just happy to have most of his loved ones near by tonight. ----Several Months Later---- (Epilogue) Erin grinned and kissed his lover's cheek as they sat down at their normal lunch table. This caused the twin to gag, which made Erin stick out his tongue at the two girls childishly. Though, their reaction now wasn't nearly as bad as when Erin and Arish had come back to school for the first time after having sex. Their reaction almost as priceless as Coyote's...who promptly freaked the fuck out and it was hilarious. Actually, the whole school's reaction was pretty funny; they got stares for weeks. No one had ever heard of half-demon and half-angel dating before, and couldn't even fathom the thought of them having sex. The brunette gave Maria and Rosa a smirk and climbed into his dark haired lover's lap, not afraid to show his love for Arish publicly. Ruune observed them with a small, amused smile. He glanced up at his twin, who he finally got to sit with them. Alex openly voiced his opinion on Ruu even being around Isaan to begin with, but, with a lot of explaining, the small teen finally got him to agree to it peacefully. Going back to school had been hard on Ruune, since his anxiety levels were shaky at best, and he was terrified of the bullies. When he finally got back to school he learned that a majority of his tormentors had been expelled, and the principle made a ensembley about bullying or something from what his friends and Isaan told him. Despite that he still found some trouble here and there, but not nearly as much as he used to get. Also, he had decided, a decision made between he and his family, that he would pretend to still be mute at school. The silver haired twin felt horrible about lying, but he still felt a lot of anxiety in school, and certain tearchers made him really bad, so he was as good as mute anyways. He was glad to have Isaan by his side at least. He smiled up at Isaan, and bgripped the elder twin's hand under the table. It made him sad to think that the transfer was almost at an end...but he knew that things were going to be all right now. Everything was working out well. Aheal, Isaan and himself were beginning to be a familly again, and yesterday he swore he saw his father and Abel holding hands, and the demon sneak a kiss to the angel's cheek. Everything was going to be just fine.
Teesie
--Epilogue--Sveral Months Later-- Isaan had made it in his daily routine to watch out for Ruune whenever the other was around him. The older twin was surely glad that most the boys who bullied the small fallen was expelled, he had witnessed the act of Abel when going to the office one trip. Sure he knew that Ruune would gain small remarks here and there, but the white haired teen had made sure that no one was to physically hurt Ruune or else. Some guys even took that risk of overstepping Isaan's boundaries, which resulting in the elder twin getting suspended for assaulting another classmate. It was all pretty fine now though; albeit there was one subject as of lately that stayed on his mind. That issue was the thought of whether or not he could stay at the school on his own will after the treaty ended. Arish had become to do more with himself in school, becoming more comfortable with being surrounded with demo's. It was truly an inner conflict that not even Erin knew of. The brunette was about the only one he could really accept, and that wasn't fully. Everytime the two was alone, he would ask for the other to transform. This is what caused him to accept the demonic being, and love his boyfriend even more than usual. - Astaat, knowing that Ruune was more intact with his family, never visited. She was sure to send the smaller twin presents and texts just to show him that she cared for him. There was an excuse with every invite the little one gave her, although she made sure to forward the other pictures and vice-versa. With the treaty being almost over she would surely make up for the lost time, but at the moment she chose not to.
