"Well, since you changed your last name...I guess we aren't brothers."

Ruu's pale green eyes widened, and tears began to gloss them over. He didn't trust his twin...but he didn't want them to stop being brothers. Yes, he was trying to put some distance between himself and his birth family, mostly out of fear...but he didn't want this. Gods...why were his feelings so conflicting all the time? He held on tighter to Alex's arm, unable to retort for obvious reasons. A quiet whimper was all that could come from his throat as a few tears made their way down his cheeks.

----

Erin sighed as he settled into sitting in the space between a corner and a vending machine. It was decently comfortable, since it could fit two people pretty easily, so he had a bit of room to stretch out a little. It was one of several hiding places he has designated as his territory in the school...it was a demon thing. He chose this one to hide in simply because it was across from the gym, so he could meet up with his friends faster. He opened his back pack, which he was glad to have remembered to snag, and pulled out a candy bar. Might as well eat it now, plus it was comfort food and the brunette could use some comforting. He pealed back the wrapper, and took and small bite of the sweet treat before leaning back and stretching out his legs. God...why were relationship so fucking complicated?

Arish shoes padded down the hallway, tapping coming from the sole as it crashed against the floor. The dark-haired male was upset from the beginning of since he had made it here. This wasn't cut out for him and he was sure to tell his father that he didn't want to be here any longer than a week. That would give the other time to take him out of here.

After a moment the teen stopped in his tracks, standing beside a vending machine. Leaning against the machine, not seeing nor sensing the half demon. "I can't stay here any longer. This is too much for me." Slamming his fist against the machine whilst leaning his head against the machinery.

Isaan cackled to the other and sneered. "No need to cry...Ezal." The elder spoke, shaking his head at the other. Ruune could be hurt so easily, and that was an advantage that Isaan had. The younger was yet so vunerabke to the older teen even when the elder had hurt him.

Erin jumped and yelped at the ranting and the bang on the vending machine that fallowed. He swore to God he was an inch away from a heart attack! His cat-like eyes were wide with panic and his heart felt as if it was trying to break it's way out from his chest. "Holy shit! Are you tryin' to give someone a fucking heart attack?!" He shouted, before peeking around the vending machine to have coal eyes meet his bright green. The brunette almost smacked himself...he should have recognized the voice! Erin quickly retreated back into his hiding place, knowing that he was rather vulnerable since he was sitting while the other was standing, but had a feeling Arish could catch him if he ran...so might as well.

Ruu ducked more behind Alex, the small teen just wanted today to be over. He just wanted to go home, and curl up in his bed, and sleep. Just sleep and never wake up...sometimes Ruune really hated reality. He really, really hated reality.

Arish eyes widened as he watched as the love of his life retreat once again behind the vending machine. Frowning slightly, the dark haired male walked around to stare to the other, albeit it transformed to a heated glare. The glare suddenly stopped as the elder teen sighed and shook his head. Arish wouldn't mess with the other if Erin did not want talk. Taking a slow step back, the student forced his thoughts to something else. The last thing that the dark-haired teen wanted to think of was the one that had hurt his feelings.

---

Isaan smiled cockily, biting his lips. A glare was thrown to the smaller twin as he slowly backed away from the two students. He would just go and mind his own business at this time. Alex frowned as he watched how clingy his friend had gotten. He was trying to have Ruune take care of himself, but that wouldn't work. This jerk was picking with the adorable kid and the older adolescent didn't enjoy it. Abel had asked him to look out for Ruune and that was what he would do. "Don't worry. I won't let him hurt you Ruune."

Erin flinched under the glare, but was shocked when Arish turned to walk away. He expected the elder teen to shout at him, to call him an asshole or something like that. The sad expression that crossed the dark haired teen's face just about broke the brunette's heart. The half-demon still loved Arish very much...so the boy stood up and loosely grabbed on of the other teen's hand in his own.

"W-wait...," Erin said, choking back tears, he would not cry, damn it! "I...I'm sorry, love....I never wanted to hurt you...never..." A reluctant tear rolled down tanned cheeks. He didn't want Arish to leave.

The dark-haired male discontinued his steps, depending on listening to what the other had to say. Arish's life hung on every word the other was speaking. Erin meant too much to the elder teen, even when discovering that the other had demonic genes. Shutting the coal eyes, the half angel spun to stand face-to-face with the love that was missing from his life for nearly two years.

When blinking the dark orbs open, Arish was sure to stare into the green ones to search and pry for the emotions that swam inside. The genuine expression sitting upon the other's face was a positive sign that the brunette was being, or would be, legit. "What is it?" The words flowing with a shaky tone. The elder teen did not wish to cry, but it was hurtful to see the one you love slip from your fingers like sand.

"I n-never wanted to leave you Arish...a day hadn't gone by that I haven't been reminded of you in some way, shape or form...but...but I was scared...just scared that you might hate me for being a demon...a fucking monster...I didn't want to face that, because I knew would hurt...I'm sorry, okay...I'm s-sorry I was too much of a coward...I...I'm sorry I made you worry...I'm just...I'm just so sorry," The brunette choked out, the last part ending in a slight sob as the tears he had been holding began to flow freely down his cheeks. The smaller of the two teen feebly wiped his eyes on his sleeve...he fucking hated crying. He especially hated crying in front of people important to him...it made him seem like some dumb ass frucking cry baby...it was frustrating.

Biting his lip rather harshly the half-demon teen look up into coal eyes, "Even after two year, Arish, I can't get you out of my head...I love you...and I never stopped."

The dark-haired male awaited the other to finish his statement, although the words that was flowing from the brunette's lips were not exactly what he wanted to hear. The younger, more petit teen was apologizing for not contacting him, for not being brave enough to talk to him. Releasing a heavy breath, the elder turned to face the other with a saddened smile. Erin was the love that he was always thinking of. One that he didn't want to let go.

"Well, I hope that you would have stopped being a coward also. Over nearly two years and no contact....you weren't even planning to call me, to email me, or even write me. That surely wouldn't have improved over the years now wouldn't it? If I was to never come here....then you would have never contacted me. Would you? Tell me." A slight frown on the male's face as he awaited an answer.

"If I was to never come here....then you would have never contacted me. Would you? Tell me."

"I...think I would have...but I don't know when I would have, though," The younger bit his lip, and looked down at his feet. He was telling the truth on that, he was actually pretty close at some points of hitting talk on that phone at some points, but he would always chicken out. He actually, once, around Arish's birthday last year did hit talk, but the other must of had his phone off, or something so it ended up going to voice-mail. The brunette didn't leave one mostly because he panicked, was an idiot and dropped the phone.

"I...um actually did get some guts last year, and tried callin' ya," He admitted rubbing the back of his neck, "But it went to voice-mail, and I...uh..kinda dropped the phone..." And the half-demon had been too nervous to try since, basically. He glanced up at the taller teen timidly before turning his gaze back at his feet. It was kind of an embarrassing to admit...but he want to make the point that at least he tried.

Glancing up in regard to the other's statement, the coal eyes stared into the green eyes, searching for the honesty in them. It seems that the brunette was being trustful and had actually gained enough balls to call him last year. Bad thing was, was that Arish had discarded his phone to the back of the room, out of spite. The dark-haired male was surely disappointed.

"I see. Well, I hardly even talk on the phone since you left. Months and months had passed and you hadn't even contacted me. That led me to solitude, and I had never been that way." Slightly pulling away from the other and wrapping his arms around the small, petit waist to staring into the green, beautiful eyes. "I love you Erin."

"I'm sorry," He repeated again as strong arms wrapped around his waist, he looked up and muttered almost shyly "I love you too, Arish." The brunette wrapped his arms around Arish's neck and pulled the the dark haired man down to his level. The younger pressed a kiss to the half-angel's lips lovingly. This was just something he never thought he'd be able to do again, touching Arish, holding him and be held, looking into the dark, coal eyes. It all made him just feel like he was dreaming or something.

The half-demon broke the kiss slightly, their foreheads pressed together, "I'm sorry I didn't get the guts sooner...I've missed you," He whispered looking into the angel's eyes with his own cat-like green eyes. He pressed his body a little closer to the older male, just wanting to be close to him.

Arish relished in the sentiment of the kiss that Erin had suddenly placed upon him. The smaller male was surely an aspect in his life that the dark-haired adolescent did not want to let go. The brunette was a piece of his world, and it would never be complete, like a puzzle, without the other. Taking a small step away from the half-demon, Arish let a smile overtake his expression, fingers skimming down Erin's arm to capture the other's hand.

"Well, I'm glad for the reunion and all, but you should be in class. I wouldn't want you to get in any trouble. I'm off to study hall." The elder informed, smiling lightly to the petit teen. He guessed this was the beginning of their new relationship.

Erin chuckled lightly, "Which is precisely the class I'm skippin', love. The teacher's really lenient, so he doesn't care as long as I don't go blowin' anything up." The brunette held onto the other's hand tightly, giving a slightly mischievous smirk to his boyfriend. The younger had changed a lot in the last two years, he was bolder, louder, and a lot more devious. Back when he was 16 he wouldn't had even thought of skipping class. He blamed Coyote's influence on him, seriously. Alex constantly had to get him to stay in some of the more boring classes, and not skip to either sleep or go pull some weird prank.

He wondered what Arish was going to think of his new tendencies. He gave the dark haired half-angel a kiss to the cheek, "If you really wanna go to borin' old study hall I'll go with ya," The green eyed half-demon smiled, looking up at the other teen. He reached down and picked up his back-pack, and the candy bar he dropped, ready to go with what ever Arish wanted to do.

The action that the other was pulling at the moment had the elder teen surprised. The Erin he knew nearly two years ago was a scaredy-cat nerd. There was no way that the other would skip class and openly admit it like talking of the weather. Seems not only have the other became distant, but the brunette had grown bigger balls than Arish thought. A chuckle filled the air as the older teen couldn't believe what he was told, or what he was hearing.

"Well, well. It seems that you're more terrible than I gave you credit for. You mischieving delinquent." The half angel teasingly said, giving a raise of the brow to the other. Who would ever think that the Nuetral Zone would pull the timid ways from the petit, lithe body in a shorter amount of time than the other lived in the Human Realm. This was a surprise that Arish was not expecting.

Erin laughed outright at his boyfriend's comment, and grinned broadly at the other. "Mischieving delinquent indeed~," The brunette sang out, placing a light kiss on Arish's cheek. He gave the angel a playful look, green eyes gleaming with love and mischief. "But I'm your mischieving delinquent," He added, still smiling up at the other. And then the bell rang, almost causing the half-demon to jump.

-----

Ruune was extremely relieved when the bell rang. Today's game in Gym was Dodge Ball...and he was on the opposite team than Isaan. Guess where all the ball were aimed...the silver haired teen now had quite a few bruises on his leg and stomach. In return all of Alex's balls were aimed at Isaan at first, until Ruu nearly begged him to stop, in sign language of course, so no one else even really understood but Alex anyways.

The young fallen walked in the changing room, finding the most hidden and secluded spot possible to change. As he lifted up his shirt he winced, he had a huge bruise on his stomach. Gingerly poking it the former angel let out a soft sigh before slipping his turtle neck back on, making sure the left sleeve was pulled down all the way, hiding the healing wound on his wrist. The boy then went to change out of his shorts, and back into his pants, glancing over his shoulder nervously.

Isaan was standing in the opening of the small secluded space that Ruune was changing in, observing the other's shy movements. The younger twin sure had many bruises that the elder had tried giving him, looks as if the plan went as ... well....planned. Ruune would have to pay for what he bad decided to do, the elder brother had pride in their last name; albeit as said before, he would make it seem like the two of them wasn't even brothers.

"Wat' tha' nervous look for. No one is watchin' ya' but me, Ruune Ezal." Isaan finished, crossing his arms across his chest in a menacing way. The white haired older teen could tell that he was hurting the other emotionally, but it only encouraged him to do it more. After a while Alex came rushing over and pushing Isaan out the way, placing his hands onto the soft skin of Ruu's face.

"Are you ok? Did he hurt you?" Sadness flowing through his body language as well as his tone of voice. In the background, the older twin's laughter was heard, as he stood to wait for the other's answer.

----

Arish smiled to his lover and ruffled the brown locks, giving a stern look after wiping the smile away. "Tomorrow you will be in class and don't even think of skipping next period. If I catch you, you will regret it." A devilish expression crossing his paled face before turning to go to his next subject.

"Wat' tha' nervous look for. No one is watchin' ya' but me, Ruune Ezal."

Ruune stared at his twin wide eyed and fearful, frozen in the motion of buttoning his pants. He trembled slightly and his posture took on the appearance of a cornered, frightened animal. Biting his lip the mute boy whimpered, knowing the other was waiting for him to make a move, to speak. But the boy stayed frozen like a deer in head lights...he didn't know what to do.

He let out a held breath when Alex came to his rescue yet again.

"Are you ok? Did he hurt you?"

The smaller shook his head quickly at that. He pointed to himself, 'I'm', and then spread his right hand and poked the left side of his chest with his thumb weakly, 'Fine'. He looked away from the half-fallen...he was fine physically, besides the bruises, so it wasn't completely lying, right? He then, to divert from the topic at hand, he went through the motions with his hands and arms to ask Alex, 'Is lunch next?'.

--------

"Why would I skip lunch, it's the best period of the day," The shorter male grinned, and quickly ran up to Arish. The brunette placed a kiss on the other's lips before adding, "Meet me here after school, I'm showin' you the Neutral Zone~." With that the half-demon ran off in the direction of the cafeteria.

Erin paused then shouted, since he was a bit of a distance now from the half-angel, "See ya later, Love!" He waved and continued on his way, he was hungry. The brunette grinned to himself, he felt like he was on cloud nine!

The white-haired teen smiled to the younger twin, it was a good thing that his father had him learn sign-language. So, whatever his cute, adorable brother was saying would be no surprise to the elder teen. Shaking his head, Isaan pushed Alex out the way and leaned down into his brother's personal space and gave an evil smile before continuing with his action. The other was so venerable that the white-haired adolescent just had to do it. Pulling away, the elder walked away. That kiss was surely something to remember.

Alex stated to the small silver haired teen with surprise. Who exactly was that guy anyways, Alex was unsure. Ruune was the this to never really talk of his personal life, so it was a bit of a enigma. The orange head knew that whoever the other was, that the innocent, mute adolescent knew and favored the other. "Who the hell is that guy, Ruune?" Flexing a brow as he expected an answer.

---

Arish watched after his seemingly giddy and energetic lover. It seems that the other was surely liking the lunch period. That was so lazy of the other, albeit it was surely funny. Smirking to the younger teen, the dark-haired male follow after the other. He had forgotten that the lunch was the next period.

Ruu's heart sped up ten fold when Isaan pressed his lips firmly to his. He stared into chocolate eyes as he pulled away from him, and walked off in the opposite direction. He felt his chest tighten as tears began to drip down his cheeks. He felt extremely conflicted; one part of him didn't want anything to do with the white haired angel, and just wanted to be left alone...but another, smaller part of him just wanted all of Isaan's attention and love. A part of his reignited by the kiss.

Biting his lip to hold back small sobs, he looked up at Alex. Shakily the smaller signed out, 'Brother.'

-----

Hearing his lover fallow him he slowed down until they were walking at a matching pace. Erin gripped the other's hand with his own, intertwining their fingers. It seemed like they shared the lunch period...perfect, he could introduce the angel to Alex, Ruune, Rosa and Maria. The brunette hoped his friends and his boyfriend got along all right.

They got a few stares from Transfers and Neutral Zoners a like, and the green eyed teen pressed a little more up against his boyfriend. He was trying his best to ignore them but it made him a little bit uncomfortable. It must be weird for some of demon blood to be dating someone of angel blood. Erin didn't care much about that but staring had always unnerved him quite a bit.

The dark-haired male watched as his lover slowed his pace, and as he was walking beside the other, he guessed his conclusion was correct. The other had finally noticed that Arish was headed in the same direction as he. Once the other wrapped his arms around the older teen's arm, the ex hunter sighed with delight and pulled the brunette closer, albeit feeling Erin push more against him, himself.

The stared that was thrown their way was a bit annoying to Arish, although no matter the reason, the dark-haired teen kept his mouth closed. Others always stared as if one was crazy over anything. It would be a waste of time to stop and argue with one over what they thought was weird, it didn't really matter much.

A sentence the half angel heard was what stopped the ex hunter in his tracks. He hoped that Erin didn't hear that. 'Erin is such a slut for getting with a student that just made it here.' Student like her was what pissed him off. Firstly, she wasn't minding her own fucking business. Second, was that she didn't even know of Erin's past life, therefor she didn't know what the fuck she was talking about. That was the third reason.

"What a shame." Arish whispered, glancing down to his lover.

---

Alex watched the other and a surprised look came upon his face. "I am so stupid. So that's why he said that you're no longer his brother. Dammit that guy. What a sick individual. He's defiantly weird. Come on, let us go meet Erin at lunch." Taking a hold of Ruu's hand to pull the petit boy along.

'Erin is such a slut for getting with a student that just made it here.'

Erin only let hurt cross his features for a split second before stopping dead in his tracks. With his still rather firm hold on Arish he caused the other to stop too. The girl, Gloria if he remembered correctly, had never been a person he got along with. To put it bluntly she was a bitch...but she was daring, the half-demon would give her that much. Erin, over the past two years, had gained a reputation of sorts. He was the high school version of an Information Broker; it was something he did for practice since he planned to become a Conman one day. It wasn't his fault that bitch wanted her high school reputation ruined, he was just dishing out what was deserved.

He turned around partially to look at the girl before putting on a somewhat sinister grin. "I'd stay out of my personal life if I was you, Dollface, that is unless you want everyone here to know who's the real slut, capeesh~." He had a lot of dirt on her, she was the biggest hypocrite for calling him a slut of all things. The girl actually paled slightly, causing the brunette to cackle a little. He then mouthed to her, 'I have pictures', and she got a look of horror on her face before running off in the opposite direction.

Erin's sinister expression when back to a good natured grin when he turned back to Arish, and started to drag him forward a bit. "Come on, love, I'm starving~," He whined slightly, pouting a little. No one who was a Neutral Zoner bothered to look their way anymore, all remembering what Erin could find out, and that he was indeed Coyote's apprentice. No one messed with that kind of shit unless they were stupid, and wanted to commit social suicide.

------

Ruune complied with being pulled along to the cafeteria. Not feeling much like eating at the moment the boy separated from Alex once they reached the lunch line and went to go sit with Maria and Rosa. The silver haired fallen sat down, shoulder slumped and all and all looking pretty gloomy.

"Hey~, what with the storm cloud hangin' over your head, cherub?" Rosa asked, nudging him slightly with a look of concern on her face. Sighing, the small teen shrugged his shoulders, and just waved her off. He didn't want to talk...well write really, about it. Maria and Rosa exchanged determined looks, they were getting their friend to tell even if it killed them!

Arish, yet still in the dark about what the other could commit, raised a brow at the girl as she dashed away down the hall. Well, that was all it took for the enemy student to leave. Seems as it his small, petit brunette had some dirt on the girl. Well, that took care of that small dispute. Arish knew now that his lover was more scary, manipulative and devilish that before. Erin really was a delinquent now. That was something that no one in the Human Zone would believe.

Continuing to walk to the cafeteria, the dark-haired teen watched his surroundings and slowly approached the long line that led to the food. Sighing, the elder teen held the younger closer to his body. He was a bit insecure with the mass of people surrounding him, as if someone would snatch his lover away from him. That would be the moment the half-angel kicked some ass.

--------

Alex pouted when the silver haired teen left his side to sit at a table with the demonic twin sister's of his. Although, Ruune didn't eat very much so it was well expected. The orange eyes darted around to spot Erin with his ex boyfriend. The two was simple cuddling in public, so that had to mean they were back on. A smile escaped his lips as the elder teen frowned slightly and turned around to resume walking in line. Seems like Erin's day was going as planned.

-------

Isaan sat at a table alone, just staring to the others as they walked by. It didn't bother him in the least that no one tried talking to him, it would be the exact opposite to be honest. Seems as if this year would be like any other, but a bit more fun since Ruune was here.

Erin smiled as he felt the other pull him closer, he liked that Arish was being possessive, it was like some kind of silent reassurance to brunette. With his free hand he grabbed a paper plate with a pepperoni pizza on it, he forgot it was pizza day. This day just keeps on getting better for him. He also grabbed an orange juice, since he didn't really like milk that much.

Once they payed for their lunches the eccentric brunette lead his lover to his normal table; the one Alex, Ruune, Maria, Rosa and himself called their own. He plopped down next to Alex, who he noticed was in line ahead of him, and lightly pulled Arish down to site on the other side of the half-demon.

Maria and Rosa turned their attention from pestering Ruu to the new comer. They both raised an eyebrow, and Maria was the first to speak up, "Yo, Erin...you have weird taste in men."

Rosa elbowed her twin in the ribs rather harshly, and looked at Arish apologetically, "Sorry about my sister, she doesn't think before she speaks."

Maria grumbled under her breath and rubbed her side, glaring daggers at her sister.

Erin chuckled slightly, and said, "So...everyone, this is my boyfriend, Arish Lefunt. Arish, those two are Maria and Rosa, the little cutie sitting next to them is Ruune Ezal, and this," He threw an arm around his best friend's shoulders, "Is my best friend, and confidant, Alex Mahiya."

Ruu gave a small wave and tried his best to smile at the half-angel. He dug out a notepad from his pocket, and uncapped his pen from the chain around his neck. He quickly wrote out, 'It's nice to meet you mister Arish' and handed it to the male. He was never sure if anyone knew sign language, so writing was his second form of communication.

Alex only gave off a small smile to Arish when Erin was watching. In honesty, he was cautious of the half angel, something about him just didn't seem right. Letting his best friend just willingly give his heart away was a dangerous thing. The brunette could even be saddened to the point of no return. Then Alex would make it seem like it was all his fault, and would beat the shit out of Arish.......if he could.

"Well, it is nice to finally meet the guy that my friend was so in love with. Although, it's a bit scary to let my friend love others that I don't really know. If you hurt him....I'll kill you." Mahiya explained, giving off a playful grin, albeit Arish knew that was really a threat.

Arish smiled and shook his head at the orange haired man. Even though the other had threatened him, he didn't really care. It was all in vain. "I won't hurt him so chill." Coal eyes glancing to Rosa with enjoyment but sent a small glare to Maria. Soon the darkened orbs landed on Ruune, a smile breaking loose once again. "It's nice to meet you to Ruune...Ezal. Is...there a reason you are not talking " Staring to the other curiously. He had an idea that the other was mute, but was sure that maybe the boy was participating in the mute cultural movement that some do just to be nice.

Erin blushed slightly and punched his best friend in the arm lightly, "No need to be so protective, Alex, I'm a big boy, I can take care of myself~," The brunette whined lightly, "Plus I've known Arish for years, so I know he'll never hurt me." He gave a small smile to both the half-fallen and half-angel, hoping that the tension would disappear between the two as the year went on.

"It's nice to meet you to Ruune...Ezal. Is...there a reason you are not talking "

Maria scowled lightly at the older boy, and opened her mouth to say how rude that sounded, but Rosa firmly clamped a hand over the outspoken girl's mouth. "Don't you dare, Sis," The older girl whispered, "What did we agree on this year?"

"Best to make friends and not enemies," The younger girl droned out, with a slightly annoyed expression on her face. The black haired girl pouted childishly and crossed her arms across her chest. Rosa smirked slightly, leaning on her fist.

Ruune sighed and shook his head at the twins antics, and turned to face Arish. 'I have selective mutism, it's an anxiety disorder. I can physically speak, but my body and mind just wont let me, I can't really control it.' He wrote out on the notepad, and hand it to to the dark haired teen again. He thought he might as well explain that right away. A lot of people thought a selective mute was something someone could choose to be, but Ruu didn't choose not to speak, it was actually pretty frustrating. Not being able to speak was like being trapped in a cage sometimes, and the silver haired Fallen didn't like it.
