I get messages disappearing on me too, especially when I'm offline and then I come back and someone messaged...

I find that if you leave you computer on hibernate (LOL I never turn it off anymore >

but once you click to go to another page, the message will appear blank

and the doubling usually occurs when my internet is acting stupid (which is pretty often XDDD )

also, it's hard to chat with multiple tabs open because some messages appear only on some of the tabs and not the others :/ it's weird but that's what happens

so... if you stick to one tab when you're chatting it's alright

you don't have to log out to fix it (or.. well, I don't) you just need to click somewhere else

like the Go Advanced button XD

Answer: We love someone while we hate them because love and hate, although they are opposites, are also very closely related.

 

A lot of the times you confuse loving a situation with loving the person in the situation. Then the situation changes and you find that you hate the situation yet you've also associated this hate with the person you "love". Thus you end up both hating and loving a person at the same time. Similarly, sometimes you hate certain traits of a person and love the others but a person is made up of all these traits so you cannot isolate them from one another when you refer to the person as a whole. Thus, you love and hate parts of the same person.

 

In the case of the second one, you will find that you love them dearly at times but you will also hate how they do something, etc. When you forgive them or overlook what they did because you love them, you will hate how considerate and totally awesome you are. That makes you hate how you love them. Or, some people will love the way they hate a person because they like getting what they don't have. These people try and try to get the other person to be who they want them to be and fall in love with the process of changing them. They hate the person, whether it be for a trait or an action, etc. but they love how the person is so hateful.

 

There's also the theory that love and hate are controlled by the same part of the brain. Love is a reaction in the brain that causes you to feel intense emotion for a person. But feelings of hate are also intense emotions generated when you are upset. So a person who riles you up, makes you happy, makes you angry will cause you to fall in love with them, hate them, or a mixture of both. In those moments you feel the intense amount of emotion you make a judgement about the person. Often, you will declare you love them or you hate them, but sometimes you are not thinking properly and conclude you both love and hate them. It is simply an act of confusion where you cannot label the feelings you feel.

It's because that kind of person is 'night owl'. But, I call them 'vampires' who are alive at night but dead once the sun rise. To my opinion, at night, almost everyone can be free and relax. They can be themselves and do whatever they want. In fact, in the daytime, we have to struggle with life-some have works to do while some have school to go, etc. It's kind of natural but everyday stress. So, people don't want to face it while they want to extend they peaceful time as much as they want. However, such kind of time is happen to be the fact that they are in bed. So, I conclude that people like to stay in bed even though it had to sleep at night coz' they don't want their own time to be over.

 

My Question:

Why is it difficult for people to regain their confidence once they are defeated?

Hmm...to answer that question would be like trying to define why people try in the first place. Defeat, like victory, is gained in many ways, and lost in many ways as well. And there are even more reasons why humans even begin the journey to begin with. But one reason is because maybe they thought that they wouldn't be defeated, that they were too good at what they were doing, but then when they are defeated, they are forced to realize that they aren't as good as they thought. And thus, trying to pick themselves back up after such a loss can be quite difficult.

It is sometimes the brain looks at things and if it looks attractive we feel the desire to want to eat it (reference to food only). If a dish is presented poorly then it does not reflect the way it tastes, since we were hunters in the begining we look at the food, see it looks ugly and then lose desire to eat it.

 

I want to say it is a primal instinct but I may be using the wrong word here.

Answer: I suppose that's the effect of "love". There are a few effects that can cause this problem (or not a problem depending on how you look at it) One is that you're blinded by love and cannot see what they truly are. You're so in love that you just ignore all of the faults in them. Another is that you love them for their good traits more than their bad traits (flaws) and so you don't notice the bad things about them. The become seemingly flawless~

Time goes slower when you look at a clock because you are consciously aware that the time is changing. Your focus is on the difference and nothing else. When you are doing something else, you can feel that you've experienced a lot of things in between each time you look at the clock to check the time that has passed.
