Mentioning Problem

I used to be able to mention so I'm sure I'm not doing it wrong.

But just to double check, you put "@" and then someone's username right?

 

Well, I can't do it anymore for some odd reason...

I get the words written like

Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links.

and the person doesn't get a mention

 

please help me~

it's quite inconvenient

O.O nevermind? that' one worked.. but I tried it with another person and it didn't work so I don't know what's happening TT^TT

Hello. There might be two reasons:

-> When you customize the font of your text, make sure you leave at least one hit of space between Usernamer[/mention]. (In case your post starts with the username).

-> Special characters won't work with the mention; only English (Latin letters).

 

And an additional one;

-> For some reason when I used different input of English, per say, Irish English. Somehow the mention counts it for 'special'. No idea why. Nothing seems different to me, but back then it didn't work. Though rare case, had to enlist it.

It might be because I put " ( " before it
