Brendan looked down and the nearly diminutive youth in front of him; well, he wasn't that small, everyone was small in comparison to himself, but the awkward over-sized package in his arms made him appear smaller than he probably was. He checked his watch, his break was coming up, and he figured that he'd kill two birds with one stone and escort the youth in. It was just like the boss (in his opinion) to source out indi artists, and quite frankly the man had enough money to do whatever the hell he wanted to.. if he wanted to blow money on strange artworks, that was his prerogative. He nodded at the youth to step forward out of the line, "Name?" he asked quietly, relaying the information into his cuff microphone.

He got the go ahead and his replacement came up the stairs, patting him on the shoulder to "tag" him out. Brendan gave a small smile to the youth and indicated that he should follow him down the stairs and into the club.

‘There he comes.’ His heart beats faster as he watched Ryuu coming down the stairs. Although he felt a little nervous, he decided to give it a go and see what this will lead him. But then, Yuki gasped inwardly when he felt a hand on his shoulder and someone whispering into his ear

"Well, don't just stand there, someone else will grab him otherwise."

Then he felt a light push and his body moved forward slightly. ‘What the…., who’s that?’ He glances back as to know who pushed him but that guy’s just merging with the dancing crowd and he only caught a glimpse of his back. ‘Did he just said that cuz he knew I’m watching Ryuu?’ Suddenly, all kinds of thoughts well up in his mind ‘Wait, is that someone who knows me? What if he's from MARS? Why did he do something like this? Did he recognize who I am?’ He started to doubt whether this is a good idea to come to an unknown club alone. So many questions spun around his head as he tried to rationalize the previous moment, standing still nearby the dancing people and forgetting about Ryuu momentarily.

Matthew twisted through the crowd, flirting with men as he wandered through the crowded dance floor. Smiling and laughing at the other patrons of the club. He saw a flash of blonde over by one of the booths and felt a smirk spread across his face. Well now, this could be fun. Messing with multiple people in one night. Matthew chuckled under his breathe, giving the man he was currently dancing with a peck on the cheek before moving away with a small wave.

He quickly made his way over to the booth and slid into the cushioned seat, resting his arms on the table behind the laptop. His brown eyes searching for the silver eyes opposite. Pushing up onto his elbows he rested his chin in his hand, strands of his own blonde hair falling over his face. "Hey there." He tilted his head ever so slightly as he looked at the man. "I see you finally made it inside the club. What are you planning on do here tonight, work?" He indicated at the laptop on the table with a nod of his head. "Not really a work atmosphere if you ask me."

At the present of the other Yosuke slightly groaned. The blond wished that the other wouldn't speak at least, but that wish was not granted to him once the other spoke up. Silver orbs glanced up to the other with small annoyance, though once noticing who it was, it faded a little. This was the same guy that he had not-so-gently pushed pass to get into the club. Yosuke wondered was the other there to purposely annoy him or there to actually talk. Maybe it was a bit of both. Either way, the student could at least respond.

"Uh, yeah...I've got work to do. I decided that any place would be better than being at my hous---wait, why do you care anyways?" Slightly pushing the laptop to the side and mimicking the other's position. "You....would help me if I was to need help right?" Staring to the other for an answer. He knew at this point that Matthew would mostly likely refuse. Math was not his strong point, and calculus was what he was working on at the moment. Plus, what could be better than having this guy as his helper. In all honesty the male in front of him was surely an attractive male.

The crowd was all too easy to part. He could move practically freely through here, despite those who attempted to tempt him to dance; while he did not ignore them, he did not allow them to either. His steps were easy, lilting either, swaying just a little, giving a little taste of how lithe he could be to a beat, or a rhythm. Ryuu felt a small smirk slip over his features and hummed quietly, stepping past a man who seemed far too close to his ass for comfort.

He spotted one of the ones he'd contacted before just as the beat started to slide up, and he gave an airy laugh, stepping up behind the target, pressing chest to back, one arm sliding around his collarbone to pull him back just lightly against. Ryuu gave a small chuckle into his ear, pressing his mouth just near enough for his breath to fall across his neck as he spoke. "You seem tense, I think you need to relax." He murmured low in his ear, his hips swaying to the side with the heavy beat. "Dance with me."

Matthew grinned across the table. "Help? Sure I can help. Wait here." Without giving the other a chance to speak he got up and quickly made his way to the bar, ordering and paying for two cocktails before heading back to the table. Setting the purple cocktail in front of the blonde he sipped his own orangey/red drink. With a smirk he pushed the drink across the table speaking softly. "Though i'm not sure you will appreciate my type of help. I don't have a clue what work your doing on the laptop but its not something to do when you're in a place like this. You want to relax here, I can definitely help with that one for you. First though try the cocktail. Its called Purple Rain and seemed more appropriate for you than one of these." Matthew swirled the glass in his hand to emphasize his point.

Ignoring the music now he decided to have some fun, he couldn't read the man in front of him so didn't know how far this would go, but he planned to make the most of the conversation. "Wait, silly me. Offering to help, yet not even knowing your name." A grin spread across his face. "My name is Matthew, what about you?"

Yosuke exhaled, watching as the blond slide the drink more into proximity of himself. Giving a stern glance to the other, the student furrowed his brows. This 'Matthew' was a persistent one and the elder blond, Yosuke, could find delight in talking to the male. Relishing in the moment couldn't be so bad, therefore the student shut the laptop and shoved it to the side, forgetting about the school work for the moment. Matthew was much more entertaining than having to figure what to do next with a problem.

"Hn, my name....why does it matter? It's not as if me and you would become anymore than acquaintance.......Matthew." Taking the glass in his hand to have a sip, silver orbs never leaving the face of the one across from him. After swallowing a gulp, Yosuke sighed, setting the drink down with a hum of delight. *The twenty five year old wondered how the other would react to him. This characteristic had kind of became a part of him without noticing. When befriended, one could understand the older blond more.

When Yuki was spacing out in the crowd, someone lightly hugged him from behind and his back felt warm from the heat of the other’s chest. ‘What now…?’ He turned his head abruptly to see it was the blue haired singer and the realization made his chest warm up too. And when he heard Ryuu’s whispered invitation, a wave of feeling swept over him and he felt lost in the moment. ‘Yeah, why do I have to care about another guy when the one I want is here.’ Yuki smiled to himself and touched the other’s forearm with his hand. He leaned back a little and started to move along with the one behind him. “Hey stranger, your voice is really sexy you know” he said impishly.

This time Yuki turned his body around to face the other and put his hands on Ryuu’s shoulder nonchalantly. Then he stared into those blue orbs and flashed a playful smile. “I’d like to hear some more…. if that’s ok with you.”

  • 3 weeks later...

Matthew grinned from ear to ear as he tooks a sip from his cocktail. A Sex on the Beach he had asked for, sounded like fun to be honest, though he'd yet to find someone to actaully try it with, none of them hung around long enough for a trip to the beach really. Gently placing the glass down he crossed his arms on the table and leaned over them towards the blonde, reducing the space between their faces by almost half. "Ahh while we may not become more than simple acquaintances, whose to say we won't be spending time together tonight, If so knowing your name would a useful thing. That or I can call you blondie all night." Matthew shrugged "Your choice."

"You like?" he asked waving his hand at the drink. his grin now a suggestive smile. "Anyways I have no problem calling you blondie all night." With a wink he sat back in his seat, one arm resting on the top of the seat the other fiddling with his glass. "I do wanna know what you would like to do to relax though."

Yosuke's rational thoughts were burned like the ashes of paper. At the other's statement, his mind had quickly shifted to that of a sexual interpretation. Clubs were used oftenly as places for a sexual outlet to some, and possible Matthew was placed in that category. With a lazy stare to the other, the twenty five year old gave a smirk. "Am I wrong, or are you searching for a sex partner?" Finger trailing across thr table, and onto his drink. "The question is what would you like to so to relax? I myself am already of the state." Raisng a brow to the one across from him.

"Also, my name is Yosuke. I wouldn't want to be called blondie all night, unless of course I call you the same." He commented, raising the glass to the male. "This is rather palatable."

Entering the club was almost like putting on a pair of headphones, the pure...sound washing over him, shouting and the dense thump of music and people dancing. From one of the rooms, the colossal, room filling horn and Amen Break of Public Enemy's Harder than You Think, Chuck D's voice almost lost under the bass. He winced. Horribly mixed, probably running off a digital system. The sort of thing people with too much booze in them ground against each other, illicit kisses and fondles in the half-dark. Definitely not his scene. He'd wanted to leave the painting with the doorman, but...this was almost a Orphean visit into the underworld.

From another room, live music, the guitar played with the sort of middling ability that someone who'd done a decent amount of live work, but lacked that honed spirit, that...certain something. That, and the 808 drum machine thumping along sounded...amateurish. Decent live stuff, but too much '80s. Half-expecting the drumline of New Order's Blue Monday to kick in. He almost considered putting his headphones back on, but he could lose the bouncer in this crush if he did, people spilling into the corridor from the rooms, someone chucking back some foul smelling energy drink. The bouncer moved with surprising grace, his broad shoulders almost visible beneath the thin shirt.

Not his type, but...as he'd thought before, he'd be perfect to draw. Almost herculean. Perhaps shirtless. It'd been a while since he'd done portiture, but the bouncer seemed too good a subject to pass up. The man probably had tattoos...this type tended to do. Possibly ex-police, more likely, from his bulk, a solider. Post-Iraq, a lot had found work in clubs like this, he'd read. Possibly...even ex-Marines. The buzz-cut certainly seemed something he was used to having, at any rate, and he doubted the man had ever worn his hair long. A titan, a Hercules or Achiles of the modern age, striding the streets of Brooklyn and Manhattan without fear.

He clutched the painting to his chest. It needed to reach its destination, at least. As its creator, stupidly sentimental as that seemed. It might not have been a favourite, but it was his, nonetheless.

"So..." He yelled over the music. "What's your boss like?"

Yosuke huh. A nice name Matthew thought as he mulled over what Yosuke had said. Then with a wink he responded to the last of the blondes comments a laugh present in his tone of voice. "Glad you like it, also I think blondie could have been more fun. Also you can call me what ever you like, most people tend to." Tilting his head to the side he hummed breifly before responding to the rest of what Yosuke had said.

"Both wrong and right Yosuke." Matthew dragged out the name at the end, grinning as he did so. " Not just a sex partner, though that is a part of the deal.... Why were you offering?" His voice had an inviting lilt at the end of it before leaving a long pause. Watching Yosuke's face Matthew found himself chuckling.

"What I'm after is a partner, you know that whole love thing.... well not that I have much luck the good catches always have something wrong with them. That or they don't have the same ideals as me." Matthew shrugged dissmisively. "As for relaxing I agree on already being in that state, once I found the well dressed pretty boys I was fine. As an added bonus I didn't have to organise their outfits. Also talking to you is quite fun right now, it is a shame you want to stay acquaintances."

Brendan was used to the noise of the club, he was used to louder. The roar and scream of the audience baying for blood, his or his opponents, they didn't seem to care, the modern equivalent to the ancient gladiator spectacle. He turned periodically to check that the youth was still following him; the returned stare was not lost on him and Brendan tried to picture the youth as a paying customer but couldn't quite see it happening. The noise swallowed the words that the painting on legs was trying to say, but he managed to get the gist of what was being asked.

He leaned in close, his lips nearly brushing against the youth's ear, "The boss is.... different." His deep voice carried the words effortlessly through the small space between lips and ear, before straightening once more and mentioning for the kid to follow him. The office was located a little aways from the noisy part of the club, more to where the private rooms were located, and eventually the noise itself petered out until it was nothing but a hum and vibration in the background. Brendan stopped in front of a nondescript door and knocked quietly.

"The boss will call you in when he's ready," he said quietly, "I have a break to take, so I'll leave you to it." Brendan tilted his head slightly by way of farewell and headed back through the club, the noise swallowing him like a beast.

The feeling of a body relaxing, yielding a little against him was one that was certainly familiar. Ryuu found it happened quickly once they recognised his voice; was that an ever-present vice of his clients? Or was a it simply because they enjoyed it...? Either way, it did not matter. Giving a small chuckle in his ear, he heard the subtle change in his music to an even deeper base, the familiar higher notes filling his ears as he let out a pleased sound.

The glide of arms around his shoulders, and the sliding of his own hands down to the obviously younger man's waist, he tugged him just a little bit closer as the beat started up, the woman's voice starting up with a viscous remix of her original song. "Mmmm...really now?" He told him over the music, his voice audible only with the proximity. Low tones flitted between them, his thumbs making the tiniest of swipes down just above the other's hipbones. "Good to know my voice is always...appreciated. If you want to hear more, that's fine by me." Ryuu didn't quite know why, whether it was the music or not (the title might be affecting his mood), but he was feeling a little bit fancy tonight, and just before the beat kicked in again, he leant down and spoke against his cheek, his breath cool and tickling. "Just depends on how you wanna hear it."
