~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~
My Character and the Plot The Plot: 'What is wrong with me? Why is it that I'm always stuck running away? Isn't someone like me supposed to be strong, someone with my abilities supposed to be fearless? Yet I'm not, I always run when I'm in a jam...like I am now...' Sometimes life doesn't go the way you want it to. Sometimes it goes perfectly. Though for Akuma no Musuko, life always is in the pits...literally. He is the son of the horned man himself, the son of Lucifer. Though with the way he acts, one would think that he wasn't. He wasn't dark, and creepy. But one who liked to have fun, often sneaking to the realm of the living, to get away from the life he hated. Another thing is, Musuko, or Kru as he always likes people to call him doesn't want to take over the job of being top dog in hell once his father decides its his turn. It just did not appeal to him. So, as always, Kru runs away from is problems...That's were your character comes in, at one point, they meet, and hopefully after a while become friends. My Character: Name: Akuma no Musuko, likes to be called Kru Age: Appears to be 19 Race: Demon, son of the devil Gender: Male Sexuality: Bi Voice: Has a slightly medium toned vice, not too high, but not too low either. It's really mesmerizing Appearance: Height: 5' 9" Weight: 135 lbs Skin: Light ivory in color, and quite smooth Markings: Has a sort of jewel design underneath his left eye, and on his wrist is the symbol for the Devil tattooed in black ink Eye color and shape: Light pinkish-violet-red in color, and quite large for a guys. They are slightly angled Hair color and style: A light bluish green in color, and very long, with bits of hair longer than others. Near the bangs is a bunch of hair tied up in a light brown ribbon Extra: Wears a black choker Clothing: Wears several outfits, but has two favorites, one being a black striped white button up collared shirt, with a light black vest over it. The sleeves are often rolled up to the elbow. With this, he wears grey skinny jeans, that have a silver chain on the left pocket. And for shoes he wears black skater-styled shoes. His second is a purple and black plaid v-neck t shirt, with a grey zip up hoodie over it. Dark grey pants fit the look, and purple and black skater shoes finish it. Image: Background: Born and raised in the depths of hell, Kru is the son of the devil himself. Not much is known of his background, only that he ran away from home several times. Personality: Kru is a bit of a player, with a slick personality, but often times he's just a fun guy, easy to get along with, not many people would think he was the son of Lucifer. He likes to listen to rock music, and play the guitar. However there are times when he can be dark and twisted, blood thirsty and dangerous. When this happens...you better stay away if you value your life. A warning of this happening is that his eyes turn pitch black, and his pupils become blood red. His hair also turns black, with blood red tips. Abilities: Revealed IC (In Character) Extra: He's in a band called Fire and Shadows, and is the lead singer. The night was dark, cold, and silent. Well, almost silent. The sounds of the woods filled the night air, and a light breeze ruffled the leaves in the trees. He was in the park in the middle of a city. Without the wind blowing, it would have been really hot and humid. It was summer here, and everything was hot. Sitting up on a branch, in a tall ancient oak, was a young man, with the most unusual look to him. He had greenish blue hair, light pinkish silver eyes, and underneath his left eye was a jewel design. Around his neck was a black choker, and for clothing he wore a white striped shirt, with a dark olive green vest over it. For pants he wore dark blue skinny jeans, and finishing the look were black skater shoes. The shirt was unbuttoned, revealing pale smooth skin, and quite the set of muscles. He was staring up at the night sky, looking at the stars. There was not a single cloud in sight, and the moon shone brightly. He smiles, night time was his favorite time of the day. It made him feel at peace within, which was something he hardly ever had the privilege of feeling, considering who and what he was. Akuma no Musuko, or Kru as he liked to be called, was a demon. More specifically, he was the son of the horned one, the crimson savior. The devil, or Lucifer, kind of the underworld. You wouldn't think that if you got to know Kru, he was as different from his father as sun was from moon. In Kru's hand twirled a small silver jeweled dagger, with a strange sort of writing on it. This was a dagger that Kru had created, spilling his own blood to do so. It was no ordinary dagger, as it could change form, turning from its small form, into a large demon sword, or even a soul reaping scythe. Also, it had the power to detect creatures that were not human, and if it did, it would begin to glow with the light of the stars, and heat up. If the creature was close enough, it would point to where the creature was, directing Kru to it if he wanted to figure out who it was. He sighs, staring at the lights of the city, wondering if life would ever change.
FatPanda
There was a loud crash coming from the kitchen. Lav's parents were fighting again, they always fought. Why can't they just get a divorce already? Lav covered his ears and tried to block the sounds. He hated loud noises but his parents never let the house quiet down. It was probably not even a big argument but they escalated it so far that it seemed like it was gigantic. After his parents were done fighting, they would always make up... in bed. Lav didn't mind if they were going to do it but he didn't appreciate the fact that they didn't care where they did it. Usually, that would be in the living room. It was the most irritating factor when it came to living with his parents. He wished he didn't. Really, Lav could just move out on his own. In fact, he probably should. But he didn't have a job so it was more convenient to live at home. He was still in school getting a degree so money was a really big problem. Lav crept down the stairs as the fight was piping down. His parents were probably going to be having sex any time soon and he didn't want to be around for it. Pulling on his white spring jacket to brace the cold night air and his worn-out white sneakers, Lav went out the door without a sound. The neighbourhood was quiet at this hour. Hardly anyone wandered the streets after dinner time. It was too bad his dinner hadn't even had it's chance to be prepared, let alone having the chance to be eaten. His stomach rumbled. In the moment, he'd been so focused on getting out that he hadn't brought much with him. No keys, no phone, no money, darn! His stomach rumbled once again but he tried to ignore it. His mom had been cooking but then it turned into one of the long fights so he hadn't had any dinner. Lav decided to go to his friend's house, Jo always had food lying around. After eating at Jo's place, it was already dark out. Although it was summer and the sun set later, he had spent a few hours out. Mom and dad should be done by now but I don't feel like going home. Lav decided to go to the park. There was a bench under a big oak tree off to the side of the park. He liked it there because it was quiet. Lav sat himself down on the bench and closed his eyes to meditate.
~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~
Kru was just about to leave the tree branch when movement catches his eye, and he sits perfectly still, perched on the branch like a bird or a cat, blending in with the shadows. He sees a figure come into view, and as it moved closer, Kru saw that it was a male, a human. It comes closer to the tree, and eventually sits down on the bench beneath where Kru was. Kru was slightly confused about this, as it was very late, almost midnight...so why was this human out so late? Weren't they usually in their homes by now, asleep or getting ready? That or for those who worked late, at their jobs? So who was this? As Kru sat there observing the young man, he could tell that some things weren't going too well for him, that he was a student at either high school or college, and didn't have a job...A small smile forms on Kru's lips as he watched the man close his eyes, but he didn't fall asleep. What was he doing? Was that guy...meditating? By the steady breathing, the only answer had to be yes. 'Interesting...a human out in the middle of the night, sitting on a park bench in the dark...Now this I need to find out more about....' Kru thinks to himself. Silently as a shadow, Kru drops to the ground, not making the smallest of sounds. It was almost as if he didn't weight anything, as if he was nothing more than an illusion, a creation of the shadows. He quietly makes his way up to the meditating young man, growing ever closer to him, before he stops, standing right behind the man, and leans over some, so that his face was mere inches away from the other man, a smirk upon his lips, sharp teeth glinting in the light of the moon that had been hiding behind a lone cloud. "Boo." He mutters softly, wondering what the man's reaction would be.
FatPanda
You're stressed. Why are you stressed? Is it because you parents always fight? Or is it because you're disappointed in yourself for not stopping their fights? Does it even matter? They always make up, it's okay. As long as you're not the cause of argument, it's not your fault. Don't worry, you have better things to do with your life than to worry about a fight that's over already. Stop thinking about it, think positive! Think about something you like, like food! Oh that food was good. Food with Jo always tastes great. Why? Probably because I only ever go over there when I'm REALLY hungry. That guy should get annoyed once in a while. I know I would if someone just suddenly shows up. But he doesn't mind, does he? Maybe he just doesn't want to tell me. No no, Jo always speaks his mind. If it really bothered him he'd tell me even if he said it as a joke. It's okay. Peace Lav, peace. Be calm. Lav meditated, or more like he ranted to himself but it was the same thing for him. It was peaceful and quiet, finally. He didn't have to hear any of the thumps and bumps in his house. It was just all natural sound, the whistling of the wind through the trees and the occasional night animal roaming the park. There was a calming effect to meditating. Just as his heart was slowing, he was scared shitless. In front of him was a man with strange coloured hair. Lav fell backwards and off the bench he was on. "Ooooow," his tail bone was in pain. He hadn't realized anyone was around, it was a total shock to see another person. It was more of a shock that this man had tried to scare him on purpose. "What're you doing scaring someone like that? Didn't you learn how dangerous that could be? My heart almost stopped!"
~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~
(He was actually behind Lav, but oh well, I'll work something out...) Before the man could even react to him being behind him, Kru moved so fast that it seemed that he had been standing in front of the other for the whole time. He watched as the teenager freaked out, and fell backwards over the bench, landing in a heap on the ground. He began to laugh, his voice echoing all around, and it was like something Lav would never had heard before. It was a beautiful sound. "Oh man, that was too funny!!!" Kru finally manages to stop laughing, tears of laughter were pouring down hos cheeks. His violet eyes twinkled in the light as he looked at the man, the jewels on his left cheek reflected the moon light that was shining now. The huge grin that was on his face suddenly disappears, and a look of confusion took it's place as he heard the guy speak. "Uh...sorry man, just having a little fun...I didn't mean to scare you that badly. My humble apologies." He bows in apology, before offering his hand to help the other to his feet. Once he had, Kru smiles again, his sharp teeth revealed once again. "So...what is someone like you doing out here? Isn't it a little late?" He looks around, and with his great vision, even at night, he spots a white sign. "See? It says that parks close at eleven...and it's midnight..." He looks to the male again. "Oh, where are my manners? I'm Akuma no Musuko, but call me Kru!" He hold out his hand, and smiles widely again.
FatPanda
( oops, that was DEFINITELY my mistake > Lav took the man's hand and got to his feet. "Don't sweat it," Lav gave a slight grumble as he rubbed his sore behind. Not only did the man disturb his peace and quiet but he also disturbed him in the middle of meditation. And here he is laughing like a clown. Lav would have exploded in anger if he wasn't so mesmerized by the other man's beautiful teeth. It was only now that he'd taken the time to look at the intruder of his quiet night. He was an absolute beauty. The eyes could've easily been mistaken as treasure as would the neat little decoration on the man's face. It surprised Lav that there was such a person in his neighbourhood. It should be hard to miss a guy with looks like his. Lav shook the hand that had stretched out towards him and introduced himself, "I'm Lav, I live around here so I come by the park when I don't want to go home quite yet. Parents, they can be quite a hassle to deal with sometimes. I just needed some peace and quiet so I came out here. This is the best place to be and the best time to come when you want to be alone. Anyways, I'm not so big on following the rules and..." Lav looked the man up and down, "evidently, you aren't either." He gave a slight laugh. "I don't suppose you're a guard on duty are you?" The outfit Kru wore was definitely not what Lav would expect a guard to wear. It was quite natural to assume he wasn't. "What brings YOU out here at this hour?" ~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~
"Lav huh? Nice..." He grins, his eyes closing partway his grin was so big. "And I know what you mean about parents! I only have a dad, but he can be such a pain in the ass it's not even funny! Not to mention at times he can be quite...scary." He grins when the other guessed that he wasn't one that followed rules, and laughs again. "You're right, I'm not. And don't worry, I'm not a guard, why the heck would I be that, when I don't like rules? I mean come on, rules are MEANT for breaking, having you heard that saying before?" He looks at Lav, tilting his head to the side, and smiles again. He tugs slightly at the bottom of his vest and shirt, before buttoning it up, and was on the middle button when Lav asked what he was doing out here at this hour. His fingers fumble on the buttons, and curses quietly. He hadn't thought of that... "Uhm, well you see uh...I was out, um, going to the grocery store, yeah, that's what I was doing! Man, we go through milk quick at my house, so it seems almost every day I have to get more!" He laughs nervously, rubbing his hand across the back of his neck, a comical grin of anxiety on his face. His left eye twitches, making his appearance even more funny.
FatPanda
Lav stared at the man; Kru's smile was dazzling. He swore he could see sparkles come off as Kru opened his mouth and shone his teeth. It was contagious, making Lav smile as well. He gave a slight chuckle as he watched the other become uncomfortable. Lav didn't really understand why the man felt that way but he assumed it was because they'd gotten to the topic of family. His own was sometimes embarrassing to speak of as well. He didn't plan on making his new acquaintance feel any worse; he avoided the topic. "Groceries at this hour? Seems quite an odd errand for midnight. I believe the grocery store is closed but the convenience store is definitely open. If you're not too picky about your milk, you could probably get it there. And I suggest getting A LOT more if you drink it so fast." Laughing again, Lav pointed down the road from the park to where the convenience store was. "It's closer than the store too so you don't have to go as far." "I don't suppose it's just you and your Pops, now is it? Are you feeding a town with it?" Lav joked. "Or is your family just REALLY big?" He noticed he'd gotten back to the topic of family. Still thinking that it was a taboo subject, he quickly changed it to a happier one. "I'll go with you to the store if you'd like!"
~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~
"Yeah, you're right! The grocery store is closed....guess I'll try the convenience store..." He smiles again, his nervousness dying down a little, as it seemed that Lav was totally oblivious to the fact that he had just totally made that story up. He looks towards the place where the other was pointing, and nods, finishing buttoning up his shirt, and when he had done, he looks up at Lav, who had asked him about his family, if it was just him and his dad, or was his family big. He stares down at the ground, a small frown tugging at the corner of his lips, a sort of distant look in his eye. "You could say that...but really it's just me and my dad...though in truth I don't consider him as my father." He looks up at Lav, and smiles a small smile. "But don't worry about it, it's nothing really." See, if you got technical, you could say that all the demons in the underworld were his family, even though if they weren't related by blood. His father, Satan, created each of the demons, and so, you could say that those demons were Kru's "brethren" in a way. When Lav suddenly changed the topic from family, Kru blinks at what he says. "Uh, you...want to go with me? Uh, sure, I have no problem with that, it's just...are you sure?" He raises an eyebrow at Lav's sudden enthusiasm of going to the store with him. This guy sure was interesting, Kru had figured that out the moment he laid eyes on the human. He closes his eyes a moment, takes a deep breath, and then, after opening his eyes again, smiles widely at Lav. "Sure, why not? I need to get a few other things as well, maybe you could help? See, I haven't been living here for long...so I get lost easily!"
FatPanda
Lav shifted on his feet, he'd have to remember not to bring up Kru's family again. He'd tried his best to change the subject as fast as he could and ended up offering to go to the convenience store with him which was an absolutely ridiculous idea. Even then, he'd still gotten a heavy response. The constantly smiling man had actually frowned and the way he spoke of his father was very disconcerting. It was a shocking fact to hear him say he didn't think of the man as his father; the whole thing sounded complicated. Compared to Kru's family, although Lav only knew a bit about it, his family problems were a lot smaller. He laughed an awkward laugh as Kru easily accepted the offer. There was slight hesitation but he had still accepted. Even Lav knew it was crazy to suggest shopping with someone he'd just met but it was his offer; there was no backing down now. He tried to make small talk as he turned towards the direction of the convenience store. "Haha, the neighbourhood is pretty simple once you get to know it. You'll know it inside out in no time! Did you just move in around here?"
~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~
The smile that Lav had first seen when they had met a few minutes ago was once sprawled across Kru's lips, and all indication of the unnerving conversation of parents and family had seemed to vanish in thin air as Kru's buoyant attitude bounced right back into place. He grins widely, and begins to walk towards the store, walking ahead of Lav, facing the human so that Kru was walking backwards, his hands held behind his head, and that grin still on his face. But it seemed he had a perfect sense of where he was going, skirting around signs and other things that happened to be on the path, not even looking behind him to see what was there. "Yeah, I hope so! I'm terrible with directions, earlier today I was trying to find the school I had enrolled to and couldn't find it...I hope I didn't get into too much trouble, cause I was supposed to have started class today!" He laughs, his eyes sparking with enthusiasm. "And yeah, I just moved here. About a week ago, into that huge house near the hill...you know the one that skirts the park, the one that apparently the locals call the "shadow manor?". That house has been owned by my family for years, and we moved in there." The shadow manor was a huge mansion that reminded people of haunted houses or gothic style homes from long ago. The kids around the area often said it was haunted, and before Kru had moved in, it had stood abandoned for years. (This is the house, just without the huge lake in the front)
FatPanda
Lav breathed out a sign of relief; the beautiful smile was back on his friend's face. Well, I guess this makes us friends. People don't usually hang out with strangers in the convenience store shopping for groceries. He smiled a light smile in return, turning the sides of his mouth up just enough for it to abandon the usual alignment. His friends and family always told him his smile was abnormally flat, that it had no jollity in it. It was so unlike the smile this man had. Kru had turned to face him, allowing him to observe the smile more closely. Lav watched Kru's mouth as he talked about school. It was dark out but the occasional streetlight illuminated Kru's face momentarily as they walked down the street. It was quite mesmerizing, especially when he laughed. "Are you serious?! Your family owns that massive place? Just how loaded are you?" Lav was in shock, he'd grown up quite close to the place but had never had the guts to step within the perimeter. It had seemed excessively big when he was a child and thus, seemed too grande to be near. The mansion also held so many rumors that Lav didn't know what facts he knew about the place were real and which ones were not. "I can't believe you live in that... house... can you even live there? I've never seen anyone go in to clean it, not that anyone would want to step in there." It gave most people the creeps. Lav found it hard to believe he was talking to the guy living there. He reached out his hand to grab Kru's arm, just to make sure the man was real and not a ghost. He'd been so intrigued by the topic that he failed to realize he was no longer leading but rather was the one doing the following.
~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~
"Totally serious man! And we have it pretty good...obviously. But I don't like to brag about trivial stuff like that!" He laughs again, jumping over a box of flowers, and landing perfectly on the sidewalk once more. He continues to walk backwards, and blinks at Lav's question, about if he could even live in a place like that, saying something about how he had never seen people go in or out of it." Kru simply laughs, twirling sideways to bypass a sign, and faces Lav again. "Of course we can live there! The maids and stuff simply stay there, they don't leave...It's still pretty dirty, since we got there and all!" The truth was that the house couldn't get dirty, there was a special sort of "spell" that cleaned it automatically, even the dishes cleaned themselves. He blinks in surprise when all of a sudden Lav reaches out to grab at his arm, making him lose his focus and trips over a box, and crashes into a sign, falling to his ass, landing hard. "Ow...What was that for man?" He looks up at Lav, his eyes watering slightly, but that same smile was still there. "Heh, guess karma just kicked me in the ass huh? Oh well, now we're even." He stands up, brushing himself off, and then continues to walk along. "What were you doing? It looked as if you were trying to grab at me..." He moves so he was standing right next to Val, leaning towards the human, getting super close, so their faces were inches away, their shoulders and arms brushing against each other. He had moved so fast that it would seem as if Kru had just materialized right next to Lav. "You weren't trying to...make a move on me...were you?" He asks in a humorously hushed voice, his eyes super wide, the grin now gone, but it was obvious that Kru was fooling around. He leans into Lav even more, prodding him with his finger. "Eh, eh? EH? You weren't thinking naughty things were you? Or maybe...you were trying to see if I'm real, since I seem so amazing? Well I can assure you my friend, I'm no illusion, I'm just as real as you are dear boy..." He stares at Lav with an intense look, and then cracks up laughing. FatPanda
Lav laughed aloud as Kru fell over. "Ahaha... sorry...didn't mean to give you a scare there." It was evident now that he wasn't a ghost. If he had been, Lav wouldn't have been able to feel his arm nor would he have fallen. A ghost would have easily passed through the box or floated themselves back up. Lav barely had time to recover from his laugh before Kru suddenly got extremely close. "Woah, how did...?" His reaction time was lacking a bit and he was still taking in the swift movement when his friend started to tease. For some odd reason, his reaction time doubled at that moment and he instantly felt a flush come on. "I... of course not!" He snapped, face flushed a noticeably bright red had it been day time. "I was neither hitting on you nor did I think you were an illusion!" Lav denied. It was embarrassing to be accused of one and to be caught for the other. The intense look that followed made him crinkle his face in anxiousness. It only served to make his face boil more. And that laugh! He was now as heated as a volcano. There might have been steam coming out of his head. How embarrassing! He sped up slightly to move away from Kru and focused his eyes on the road ahead. His face felt hot even as he let the night air cool it down. Lav's hands would have moved to cover his face but the darkness of the night probably did a better job of that so he stuffed his fidgeting hands into his pockets. He hoped with all his might that Kru didn't notice the blush. Maybe it was because he had subconsciously thought how beautiful the demon was. He'd been staring at the man's mouth the entire time they were talking. No, probably since they met he'd been observing the way it curved with every smile, laugh, or movement. I really like this guy. Lav shuddered at the sudden realization and glanced at Kru from the corner of his eyes. "Let's just get to the store already." He wanted so much to avoid the topic. He might not make it all the way to the convenience store if they started talking about it again.
~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~
The laughter that was exiting Kru's mouth dies down a little, but every now and then he would chuckle a bit. He stays where he was standing, watching as the Lav walks off, and smiles as the human continued towards the store. With Kru's excellent eye sight, even in the dark, he had not missed the bright red that had decorated the human's face, making him wonder just what the guy felt...maybe he did seem to have started to like him? Who knew, but there had to be a reason for such a red face. Embarrassment? Maybe he was uncomfortable? "Aw, come on, don't be like that!" Kru calls after him, and starts walking again, catching up to Lav, this time walking beside the guy instead of in front. His hands were once more held behind his head, a huge grin was once more on his face. He walks with a spring in his step, and the very air around him literally felt as if he was the happiest guy alive. "So..." He glances over at Lav, watching the expressions on the human's face. "Did I make you uncomfortable? If so I am sorry..." He straightens up again, and glances at the stars. Even from there on the sidewalk they could easily be seen. A shooting star streaks across the sky, and Kru smiles wider. "Hey, where do you think shooting stars go when they fall?" He glances at Lav, wondering what his response would be. FatPanda
Lav relaxed a little as Kru apologized. "No, it's fine," He said with a sheepish smile. It had only made him uncomfortable because he came to an odd realization. Looking at Kru again, his embarrassment vanished. The feeling of admiration filled that space as he gazed at the way his friend looked to the stars. He thought to himself how lucky Kru was to be born with such handsome features. He, on the other hand, was just average with his brown hair and brown eyes, face neither very round nor very sharp, and non-muscular body. He was caught off guard by the sudden question. Hey, where do you think shooting stars go when they fall? Lav laughed at the absurdity of the question. "Silly silly Kru, stars don't fall." He shook his head with a grin. "Shooting stars stay in the sky!" He laughed again at his own folly this time. It was a soft, light-hearted laugh at first but for some reason he started to cackle aloud. Lav's eyes watered as he approached the point of hyperventilating. "Aaaaah~" He gave a sigh as he finished his laughter. "Sorry about that." He wiped the tears from his eyes. "I have no idea why that was so funny. I meant to say that they don't fall into anything because the atmosphere will disintegrate the meteor before it gets even close to the ground." He had no idea why it was so hilarious but it just was. "Your bubbliness has gotten me laughing at everything!" He gave a few more light chuckles as he remembered his earlier remarks. The light of the convenience store began to be visible up ahead. Lav pointed to it, not knowing he probably didn't need to, and said "We're almost there. It's just a little more down this road." ~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~
As Lav answered his question, Kru gazed up at the stars again, the sparkling lights reflected in his eyes. But at Lav's reaction to what Kru had asked, a small frown had formed on his lips, and a confused and slightly sad look could be seen on his face. He looks away, hiding his face from the human, his eyes beginning to sting with tears. "You really...think it's such a funny question? I think...it is sad, stars falling...Maybe that's just my opinion..." He reaches up and wipes away the tears that had formed, before they could spill over from his eyes, and then sighs. "Sorry...that was a really dumb question..." Turning to smile at Lav again, and chuckle. But as he walked along, nodding when Lav pointed out the store that was up ahead, he looks forward, the smile that had been on his lips when he looked at Lav fades, so that it was gone, a faraway look was in his eyes. For Lav it might have been a silly question...but to Kru, he was totally serious. Didn't anyone besides him think that falling stars was sad? Maybe he was really an idiot...like his father had told him so many times before. At the the thought of his father's words to him, a irritated feeling sweeps over his body, and he sneers, his eyes narrowing. 'Damn bastard can get into my head too apparently...Even memories of him piss me off!' He thinks to himself, gritting his teeth suddenly and kicking a sign that was there, and sending it flying in the air. He had totally forgotten that Lav was even there, as anger began to boil inside of him.
FatPanda
Kru had passed it on with a smile and a chuckle earlier so Lav had taken it as he was okay with the outburst of laughter. But he had been worried his said the wrong things. The look in Kru's eyes was so dazzling but aloof and his face had become extremely saddened. Now that there was an airborne sign it was confirmed in his mind that it wasn't really alright. "AAH!" Lav exclaimed at his friend's actions. Kru's face looked alarmingly different, no longer that cheerful look but rather a very vexed one. "I didn't mean to laugh!" He started to fret at the sudden change in mood. He hadn't intended to upset Kru. Lav fell silent for moments, trying give time for calming down and to form the words in his head to explain it so that Kru didn't become even more upset. "I didn't think it was sad because the shooting stars in the sky aren't actually falling. If they fall but never land, they haven't actually fallen. It's like they're still always in the sky..." Lav babbled incomprehensibly on about the same thing over and over to try his reassurances. The pang in his heart swelled, Kru looked pretty angry. "I'm so sorry!" He pleaded for the other man to calm down. The thought of angering him further was daunting because of the force he saw in the kick dealt to the sign. ~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~
As Lav spoke on, Kru was totally oblivious to this, he could not hear the rushed words of the human who was apparently trying to calm him down, trying to keep him from getting any angrier. But the fury that raged deep inside the demon was starting to hit a boiling point, and all he could hear was the words that his father said echoing in his ears and mind. 'You're a fool...you'll never amount to anything!...You know one day, even as useless as you are, you're going to have to take over for me...Why can't you act like the son of Satan instead of some incompetent brat?!...You are so useless!!...' These words and more rang in his ears, and the expression on his face became more and more angry. "I'll kill him...I'll kill him! Kill 'em, kill 'em, kill 'em! I'll kill him dead! I kill him deader than dead! And then I'll bring him back to life and kill him again!" He curls his hand up into a fist and punches the building they were passing at the moment, creating a gaping hole in the side of the wall, bricks and bits of wood piling on the ground. He still hadn't heard a bit of what Lav said, as he punches the wall a second time with his other fist, making another hole in the wall, his teeth bared, and a look of extreme anger on his face. The sign from before had a huge dent in it, despite the thing being made of metal, and it had landed about fifty feet away. Right before Lav's eyes, the human would see a change in Kru's appearance. His eyes had begun to change, the white in his eyes had become black, as if some kind of ink had poured into his eyes, and his pupils had become blood red. There was no color in iris, just the black and red. Also, his hair was slowly becoming black in color, with the tips being red as well. His teeth, that were bared from fury, became longer and sharper, and the small jewel design on his cheek turned so it was just black in color. But, right as it had begun...a small rock falls from the building, and bounces off Kru's forehead, and as soon as it had started, it was over. The colors of Kru became normal, and he blinks, a confused expression on his face. "Wha-?" He looks at the huge holes in the wall, and then at his hands, the knuckles were bleeding. He glances over at Lav, and blinks again. "Uh....did you say something?"
FatPanda
Lav froze in his spot, shivering in fear. He didn't know how angry he had made his friend. He genuinely wished he could take back the words he said. Quietly, Lav sank down to his knees and hugged him head, protecting it from the flying pieces of the wall. The amount of strength Kru had was unimaginable to Lav, the sign had flown out of his sight and the wall was torn as if a bulldozer had crashed through it. The thunderous roar of the bricks falling again had him quivering. "I'm sorry, so sorry..." He whispered to the demon who could not hear him. The glimpse of demon he saw in Kru was only a short moment but the image sank into his memory. It felt like seeing a ghost possessing his friend but more horrifying than eerie. All the blackening of Kru paled Lav's own skin. His eyes were left wide open and his body was clinging to the ground when Kru returned. He'd never left physically, but the Kru he knew was back. It was so sudden he had a hard time figuring out how safe it was to speak. He swallowed his saliva loudly and waited momentarily before answering the man. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to anger you..." He replied meekly. Lav sat up slowly and stared at the man. After a long pause, he shouted, "Y-you're bleeding!" Lav got up and ran to Kru, pulling his hand up to examine it. "Err... we might get in trouble for the wall, let's get out of here and patch you up." He pulled Kru towards the convenience store. The fear that had been in him was now gone, although not completely. At the moment, his worry overcame his fear. Inside, the light was a bright white and stung his eyes as the contrast with the night was too great. He went straight for the aisle with the bandages and disinfectants. He picked some up and asked, "What else do you need other than milk?" He had forgotten about their purpose for coming here but it came back to him now, slapping him in the face. ~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~
"H-huh? You didn't make me mad...Why would you-woah!" He was just telling Lav that he wasn't the reason that he had gotten mad when all of a sudden the human takes a hold of his wrist and began to pull him to the store, and soon they were there, the light bright in the human's eyes, but for Kru...it was excruciating, he just didn't let it on. To him it was like staring into the sun, or having a flashlight shone directly in his eyes. Because Kru was a creature of darkness, he was much better off in the dark, and when in bright light it hurt his eyes. But he had gotten used to the pain from all the times he had come here in the past. "I'm fine!!! It's just a small scratch, come on man!" He groans in an annoyed way, yanking his wrist free from the human's grip as they reach the medical aisle, that held bandages, disinfectants, medicines like pain reliever and cold and flu relievers, and so man other things. He rubs his knuckles on the back of his pants, wiping the blood off, but when that was gone more took it's place. He knew that he was fine though, demons, especially him, had great regenerative powers, for things like this, healing. And some of the healing that happened would shock any human. One time, a while ago, Kru had his arm and leg blasted off by a exorcists gun, and Kru had barely managed to get away, but he somehow did, and in that time he grew his arm and leg back in little to no time at all. He looks at Lav when the guy asks him what he needed other than milk, and it took everything in him not to face palm himself, he had been lying when he said he needed milk in the first place. But he might as well get some while he was there, he WAS running low, it had been no lie when he said that he went through milk fast. "Um...bread, eggs, yogurt, and a few other things..." He then grins, embarrassed. "But...I have no clue where to look....eh he he he..." He rubs the back of his neck, sighing softly. He truly had no clue how these stores worked, or where anything was, as he usually got things by making them appear, but he was determined to become more human like, and humans shopped for their food, not make it appear. FatPanda
"You can't leave it untreated!" Lav was set on the first aid. He would take no complaints at all. "If you leave the wound open, it could become infected and then you'll be in even more pain." Seeing that Kru had rubbed it on his pants, Lav took a second look on the shelf. He picked up some cotton swabs and looked at his friend. "Bread, eggs, and yogurt, I know where those are. Let's hurry and get your groceries so we can get you bandaged up." He hurried along the aisles to pick up the bread. The place wasn't big or small so they arrived almost immediately. There wasn't as many options in the convenience store as in a grocery store but at least they had the things Kru was looking for. He tossed the bread over to Kru and walked on to the dairy products. "Yogurt... ah here it is. Eggs and milk, there you go. What else do you need?" He picked up and cradled the goods in his arms as he browsed up and down the aisles. There wasn't much he himself needed in the convenience store: magazines, junk food, lottery tickets... he had no use for those at the moment. Maybe when he wasn't holding so many things he'd have liked to get some junk food. The milk was already getting heavy in his arms, it wasn't his but he couldn't make an injured man hold the jug himself. While adjusting the weight of the milk, he nearly dropped the eggs. Balancing groceries was definitely not a talent he had. "If there's nothing else you need, let's pay and leave already." He was starting to get grumpy from the bandages trying to escape his arms every time he moved. Lav turned and started for the check out counter. ~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~
"Tch...I told you I'm fine." He rolls his eyes, slightly amused by Lav's enthusiasm on helping him out. He was even more amused as when the got the goods, the human wouldn't even let him hold his own groceries, insisting on carrying them himself. He watched as the human glanced at some junk food, and without saying anything he grabs a few, like chips, and a can of nacho cheese. He grins widely, and then with Lav behind him, the go to the checkout, Kru pulling out a wallet from his pocket and paying for the food. Before Lav could grab the bags with the food, Kru picks them up, and leaves the store, looking back at Lav, wondering if he had noticed when Kru picked the bags up his hands were healed, no trace of the skin being cut open could be seen at all. He began to walk the way that the had come, heading towards his house, wondering what Lav was going to do, was he going to go home...or was he coming with? He wasn't so keen on the human coming into the house just yet, as he had to put a few things away, mainly some demonic devices that he didn't usually hide, such as the huge mirror that he used to travel between hell and the living world, and what appeared to be a Celtic styled cross covered in blood, with markings on it. This was a sort of ward, and it hid his presence from exorcists. "So...You heading home? I'm not saying I don't like your presence, but..." He glances at Lav, a smile on his face. "I'm not sure if you would want to go to my house. I mean, you're welcome to if you'd like..." They were getting closer, and the treeline could soon be seen coming up, as well as the very top tower of the house. His steps slow, and then he stops, turning to face Lav. "But if you do...You have to swear to me, SWEAR it, that you won't tell anyone, not a single person...what you see inside. Or else I might have to kill you." FatPanda
Lav followed Kru out of the convenience store, trying to convince the man to let him hold the bags, "you're hurt, I should help you carry them." He didn't plan on letting a hurt man go home with his wounds untreated, especially when his friend kept refusing to get them bandaged up. He'd have followed Kru home even if the man himself didn't want him there. "I'm coming with you whether you like it or not. I'm not afraid of a house you've proven not to be haunted. Anyways, I'm not a kid anymore. That kind of stuff doesn't exist, there's no need to be scared of your house." Lav chuckled at the warning he got, "I won't tell anyone if you're that worried but I assure you there's nothing I won't be able to handle." He didn't plan on staying too long but his parents wouldn't mind if he stayed out anyways. They weren't very strict like that and usually assumed he was with Jo. He'd stayed over at his friend's place a lot in the last couple of years so being out late was nothing new. "If I let you go back alone, you won't get your knuckles treated anyways. And I'm curious what that old mansion looks like on the inside. I've only ever seen the outside." He had completely forgotten the previous scare he'd gotten when Kru nearly went ape on him so the death threat flew over his head and he walked on passed him. The approaching mansion felt eerie, Lav shuddered at the sight of it. He thought he'd be alright seeing it again but he had overestimated himself just a bit too much. Taking a breath, he kept walking in front of his friend. There's nothing scary about this old mansion. Kru said it's okay and I believe him. Pull yourself together Lav! He slowed down when they got close to the front door. He turned to wait for Kru to open the door of his massive house.
~*~FaLlEn*SnOw~*~
Kru says nothing to what Lav had to say, but instead kept walking next to the human, and eventually they reach the front door to the house, which was a large set of ancient looking, huge oak double set doors, with a design on it from what seemed to be the early 17th century. He glances at Lav, before pulling out a set of skeleton keys, and unlocks the door, opening it, and letting the young man inside. All the while, as he opened the door and let Lav into the house, Kru had a smirk on his face, he knew that despite Lav trying to be brave, there was no doubt he was going to be scared senseless by what he was about to experience. The house was dimly lit, but it was obvious that it was quite an exquisite house, fit for royalty, the theme, or so it seemed, being of course, the Gothic era. There was a large stair case that led to the second floor, and in the room they stepped into was the front foyer, where Kru placed his jacket on a stand, before leading the man further inside. He shows Kru to the living room, a huge room that could have easily fit a modern two story house inside, with a large rug, a huge fireplace, and a fancy set of couches, seats, and other things like a piano, large flowers, lamps, a chandelier on the ceiling made with diamonds, and other stuff. All in all, it was Gothic styled, so it was done in blacks, reds, purples, blues, and dark greens. Kru looks over at Lav, and smiles, motioning for him to sit down, before raising a hand and snapping his fingers, and right at the sound of his fingers clicking fire flares up in candles set all over the room, blue and black flames flickering in the sockets. It was quiet, but not for long, when all of a sudden footsteps could be heard and a figure sort of materializes from the darkness, and a person wearing a maids outfit could now be seen. Her eyes were the first that could be seen coming from the shadows, which were a glowing bright blue, and then after that her entire body. "You're home, master Musuko. And I see you've brought a guest. Shall I get you anything to eat or drink?" Her voice was thick with a British/Transylvanian accent, and as she spoke her teeth glinted, showing sharp fangs, much like a vampires. "Yes, you can. I need to go do something." Kru glances at Lav. "This is my maid, Kage Chihana. She will stay here with you while I go do something really quickly..." He then blinks, and looks towards Kage. "Kage, where is Unmei?" Kage blinks, and shrugs. "I do not know ma-" She looks over his shoulder, and smiles. "There he is." She points over Lav's shoulder. Kru turns around and smiles. "There you are." When Lav looked, he would see a young man, no older than they were by appearances, with long black hair, and a strange outfit. It was pure black, with straps, buckles, chains, and spikes everywhere, but it was obvious this man was the butler. The strangest part of his outfit was the collar, which covered the lower half of his face, and his left eye that glowed a blood red above it, his right eye being covered with a black eye patch. "Lav, meet Unmei." *silence* Unmei stares at Lav with his one eye, and remains silent, saying nothing. Kru chuckles softly. "Sorry about him, he doesn't talk much. But he's easy to get along with, so I keep him around. Anyways, you two stay here with Lav." He walks off, leaving them with the human, while he goes to put things away. Unmei simply stands there, an unreadable look in his eye, his hair falling in his face. Kage however smiles up at Lav. "So, can I get you anything?" Once he had said so, she would walk away, and that is when the weirdness began. Markings began to form all over the wall, dripping with what appeared to be a crimson liquid, dark and shining. A low moaning rattles the ceiling, and a draft blows past them, but it would seem that Unmei was oblivious to this, that or he was used to it. Thing was, neither Unmei nor Kage were human. Kage was a vampire/demon mix, while Unmei was something a bit more sinister. He was a shadow walker, something much more dangerous than any demon. (The maid, though she is wearing stockings, and her hair is done in a messy bun, and her outfit is just black and white, with scarlet, no designs on the fabric) (The butler)
