Lucas' brown eyes widened when he saw the three people entering the room. Quietly, he put the bowl away and let out a small sigh, tilting his head. "...Officers. I'm guessing you're here to question me?" He asked quietly as he got comfortable on the bed, leaning back against the pillows. This could take some time... It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to be comfortable. At least for now, when he really could.

The woman spoke, pulling up a chair and sitting by the side of the bed, "Yes, Mr. Dragoste. My name is Lia Kelly, from the Japanese National Security. We're going to ask you some questions about the fire at the school that you were found near." Her gaze was intimidating; she had blue eyes, like Bo's, but they were darker and less lively. Her dark brown hair was pulled back into a ponytail, and she pulled out a tape recorder and a notepad.

Lucas blinked and nodded slightly, tilting his head a bit as he looked into the woman's eyes. "Alright..." Was his only answer as he waited, feeling worry and a bit of panic rising up inside of him. He didn't want to go to prison... He didn't want Catherine to know about all this... He didn't want Bo to know about this! Dammit, he just wanted to be free from the mafia again...

Her eyes glinted as she took in his appearance. "You have some pretty nasty burns...how did you get them?" She leaned back in the chair after setting the recording device on the bedsheets. One of the men stood by the window, and the other by the door. It was a lot of security for someone who may have been innocent; they seemed to be sure that he had something to do with the fire and the other people involved.

Lucas smiled a bit sadly when he heard the first question. "I ran into a burning house to save a girl... It would've been a miracle if I managed to stay completely uninjured." He said softly, his brown eyes showing not even a small part of the nervousness that he felt inside of him. The blond hoped his lie would be good enough... And even if it wasn't, he wouldn't even try and escape. It was just another way to run away from the mafia, after all..

She showed no sign of irritation with the answer. "I see. And what were you doing outside of the school? There are no buildings in the area that would have caught your interest, and you have no children." Outside of the room, Bo was standing frozen in place, unable to keep from listening in on the interrogation. He knew that he shouldn't be there, but he had to know if Lucas was innocent or not. Would he act differently around the police than he had with Bo?

Lucas tilted his head slightly, narrowing his eyes just a little bit. “I don't have children, but I do have a little sister... But this wasn't the cause. Not so far away, there's a candy store. I was actually about to visit my sister, so I decided to get her some. candy as a present.“ The blond answered softly and smiled. He felt like he wasn't doing to bad... At least for now. And his sister loved sweets, so it would fit in anyway.

The woman smirked and leaned forward. "However, the route to your family's home does not pass the school. We've done several background checks, Mr. Dragoste; I suggest you start telling the truth." Bo felt his breath catch in his throat. Lucas is lying to the police? Why? He would only do that if he...if he was guilty... He was surprised to feel wetness drip down his cheeks. He quickly wiped his eyes, shocked by his own behavior, and quickly fled from the hallway.

Lucas raised his eyebrows slightly, his mind freezing for a while before he frantically began thinking of. what else to say. “Why do you think I was going there from my family's house? I spent a bit of time at my friend's house... I'm not lying.“ The blond said quietly, though his own words seemed pathetic to him right now. He could feel the hard bed of the prison cell already... Was there any way he could actually get out of this? If he told the truth... Maybe he would be forgiven?..

Now the woman laughed, and it was a harsh, cold laugh. "And which friend is that? We'll call them up and check to make sure." She was staring at him now, her blue eyes icy. Meanwhile Bo was sitting at the nurses' station, busily taking calls in order to get his mind off of Lucas. Maybe that woman was just messing with him, trying to intimidate him...maybe he really isn't guilty... He wanted so badly for that to be true.

Lucas quickly ran through his friends, trying to think of someone who would be living near there and would know how to lie, and suddenly he remembered... His gang. He could call up one of them - they would know exactly what to say. “My friend Jack. We met not too long ago, but we usually get along so I sometimes go to his place to spend time. Should I tell you the number?..“ The blond asked while silently praying that the woman would believe in this, as well as that Jack would know what to say.

"Hmm...tell us his full first and last name as well as his address. We'll pay him a visit." She was set on the idea that he was part of the gang, so she was using all of her skills, no matter how harsh, to get the truth out of him. The man standing behind her smirked at the rather panicked look on Lucas' face. We've got him now.

Lucas managed to smile weakly as he lightly gripped the bed sheets as he quietly told the people what they asked for. "I just have to warn you - his work schedule is rather hectic, so I can't guarantee you'll find him." The blond said with a small smile. "Anything else you need from me?" A part of him just hoped that this was it. He didn't want to go to prison... He didn't want to leave the people he loved... He didn't want to let them know.

The brunette woman nodded and stood, picking up the recording device and turning it off. She handed her notepad to the man behind her and smiled down at Lucas with an expression similar to that of a snake. "That's all for now, Mr. Dragoste. We'll go check on your friend, and then visit you again tomorrow."

Lucas smiled somewhat relieved as he nodded. “Alright. Until tomorrow, officers.“ He said with a smile as he leaned back against the pillows and closed his eyes. The man he'd called was someone you could call a strategist - he would definitely know what to say and would never give anyone out. The blond lightly rubbed the bandages on his arm once the three left. Good thing thry didn't check on this... He could've told ir was a dare, but if they knew what this actually meant, it would be a dead giveaway.

As the three agents walked down the hallway, the two men flanking the woman, the woman's smile faded and was replaced with an irritated look. "Damn gang members. They always put us through so much trouble," she mumbled. The yes-men beside her immediately agreed. She rolled her eyes before an idea struck her. "That nurse seemed close to him...I'll talk to the kid, you find the friend. Don't take too long."

Lucas bit his lip as he sat along in the room. Slowly and rather hesitantly, the blond got out of the bed and limped towards the window. He sighed and closed his eyes for a few moments, then reached out and opened the window. The breeze immediately calmed down and the tall male bit his lip slightly. What if he got his whole gang in trouble? No matter how much he hated them, there were ones who were like family to him...

Bo nearly had a heart attack when he exited from the men's bathroom and stumbled into the woman who had been with the other two agents earlier that morning. She smiled at him with her icy blue eyes, but there was no kindness in her expression. "Hello, Mr. Riley," she said politely, holding out her hand to him, which he shook tentatively. "My name is Lia Kelly, and I'm investigating the school fire case. I'd like to ask you a few questions about your patient, Lucas Dragoste."

Lucas bit his lip slightly as he looked around, trying to find a solution to all this. The best way for his gang was him going to prison - unless by some miracle he'd actually get away from all this and would be called innocent. The blond rubbed the bandages on his upper arm and sighed softly as he closed his brown eyes. If he got the strategist in trouble... That definitely wouldn't bring anyone any good.

Bo felt numb as he was led to an empty room. This woman wanted to ask him questions about his patient? Did that mean Lucas had lied? Was he guilty? And why did she assume that Bo knew anything? He jumped when the door closed behind them. The woman took a seat on a chair and gestured for the young nurse to sit on the bed. He did as he was told, nerves making his hands twitch.

Lucas jumped up when the doors suddenly opened. He turned around and his brown eyes opened at the sight of a man he expected to see least. He had short red hair and black eyes, as well as one golden piercing in his left ear. The blond's mouth opened slightly at the man - his boss. And clearly, the red head wasn't too happy with something. "Dammit, can't you even take care of some police? You just had to make them go to Jack, hah?!?" The black-eyed male hissed out as he closed the door. "It was hard enough to get in here... From now, you'll listen to me and do what I tell you to do."

Bo stared at his hands as he waited for the woman to begin speaking, holding his breath. His body was tense, and his thoughts were jumbled. After what seemed like forever she asked, "Did you have any previous relationship with Lucas Dragoste before becoming his nurse?" The auburn-haired man's blue eyes widened and he looked up at her in shock.

"No, I haven't. I just met him last week." The woman frowned thoughtfully; they had seemed close. Perhaps they were not friends, but wanted to be more than that. She inwardly smirked; once Lucas was in jail, that would not come close to happening.

"I see...well, tell me, did he have any strange markings?"

Lucas nibbled on his bottom lip as he sat down on the edge of the bed and sighed softly, looking up at his boss. He had a bad feeling about this... His boss was one who could kill someone just because they did something wrong.

"You're not going to jail, I'll tell you this much. As long as you don't fail with those simple questions, you'll get out of there. If they ask you about the tattoo - say it was a dare. Jack is out on a business trip. He's working with some models, but his maid was home so she told him what she was supposed to say. I'll call up the people in the candy store as well, so no suspicions are left. Just use your brain and stay alive and out of the prison." When his boss was finished, the blond wasn't really able to say anything, just nod.

Bo's eyes widened even further, and when she noticed this, she smirked. "So he did. Where was it, and what did it look like?" The young nurse swallowed uneasily, having a sinking feeling that Lucas really was guilty. And he seemed so nice...but maybe it was him that started that fire. His fingers clenched. And killed those people. he took a deep breath and forced himself to reply calmly. "A skull, on his arm." She took out a pad of paper. "Can you draw it?"

Lucas took in a shaky breath as he lowered his gaze to the ground, still slightly biting his lip. "And what if they don't believe in me?" He asked quietly while the red head drew a long, heavy sigh. "They'll have to. Don't show that you're nervous or scared and you'll be fine. Once you're out of here, I expect you to pay me a visit and tell me everything you think is important. Even knowing how the ones questioning look like will be helpful to us."
