Lucas could feel a small smile growing on his face when he heard what the woman said. The thing was - he'd just woken up so obviously, he forgot to tell them he wanted to give in his boss... Oh well, he could always do that later... Probably. The blond let out a small sigh as he smiled to himself, his eyes closed. "...So I can see my family today?" He asked softly - the question was meant for the doctor. The thought of his cheerful little sister greeting him made the man's heart warm up... He couldn't wait already.

Dr. Phillis gave him a smile, but it was forced and his green eyes were uneasy. "You're free to leave the hospital and go wherever you want. But first you have to fill out a few forms and get a once-over before you go. I'll have Bo come and handle that." He reached out and shook Lucas' hand before leaving the room, the door wide open. Only a few minutes later, the auburn-haired nurse entered the room, dressed in his light blue scrubs that dulled in comparison to his eyes. When he looked at the blonde, he did not look angry; he just gave a small smile.

Lucas smiled and nodded as he slowly opened his brown eyes. He took in a deep breath and stretched slightly before the nurse came in. For some reason, the small smile was even worse than the anger that a part of him was expecting. The blond bit his lip and looked at the auburn-haired male with his own eyes a bit sad. "..By any chance, do you happen to have the officers' phone number?" He asked softly. He wanted to get that over with as soon as possible, to be honest.

Bo frowned, not quite understanding the question. "No, I don't...but why would you want to call them?" He was holding another clipboard with a pen behind his left ear; he had not put it there, but one of the nurses had while he was walking down the halls. For some reason the female nurses seemed playful that day. He walked over to the bed and handed Lucas the clipboard and the pen. "Here, you have to fill this out. I have new clothes for you as well." Inwardly, he was trying to prepare himself for what he had to say.

Lucas sighed softly as he took the clipboard and the pen, quickly signing it. "I didn't really get the chance to tell them what I wanted..." He said quietly after a while before passing the clipboard back to Bo. His eyes seemed sad as he looked ag the nurse. "Do you still think I'm lying?" The blond asked softly, emptiness residing in his voice. The tall male let out a shaky sigh and shook his head. "No, nevermind." He couldn't bear to get 'yes' as an answer.

Bo sighed as he took the clipboard back, his smile now a bit more sad. "I know for a fact that you're part of the mafia, and therefore a criminal." He went to the chair by the bed and took the piles of clothes from it, handing the bundle to the blonde man. "But...you looked like you were telling the truth when you said that it was not your choice. So I'm willing to give you a chance. To be my friend, I mean." The light pink blush returned. "But you have to tell me everything. No secrets, and you have to cooperate with the police."

Lucas smiled warmly when he heard the other's words. The blond let out a small chuckle as he took the clothes and nodded. "It's about time I have him in anyway." He said with hatred in his voice. Slowly, the blond began putting the clothes on as his brown eyes stayed on the nurse. "So, when do you finish your shift tomorrow? Or maybe you're free today? I could introduce you to my sister~" Lucas said happily as he pulled on the shirt and sighed softly. "And as for secrets... I won't keep anything if you don't. If something goes wrong, there are chances they will go after you... You have to tell me if you suspect anything, okay?"

Lucas' words rekindled the fear he had felt, but he pushed it away. "O-okay...and I'm free today. My shift ends at 10:00 tonight." He willed away the blush and turned away from the bed. "I'll go return to forms to Dr. Phillis while you get dressed." He left the room and started walking down the hall, letting out a heavy sigh. He had no idea of what he was getting into. And he also realized that Lucas did not know his first name.

Lucas smiled softly and tilted his head as he watched the other walking away. The blond hummed to himself as he slipped out of the bed and took off the gown so that he could put on the boxers and pants. Finally being able to get rid of the uncomfortable gown, the mafia member smiled and stretched, feeling satisfied as the wounds didn't seem to hurt... The tall male slipped on the shoes and hummed to himself, sitting down on a chair. He'd probably pick Bo up...

Once the forms had been delivered, the young nurse wondered if he should go back to walk Lucas out. He had no other patients at the moment, and the phone lines were mostly silent, so he assumed that he had some time to spare. He turned around and went back to the older man's room, knocking on the door before entering; he was glad that the other was dressed. Now that he was no longer his nurse, things like that were a lot more awkward. "Um, do you want me to walk you out?" he asked softly, his smile real and his blue eyes shy. "Also, uh...I never told you my first name. I'm Bo Riley."

Lucas smiled softly and nodded as he stood up. "Yeah, I'd like that. I never really got a chance to learn how to leave this room... It'll be a nice change~" He said with a soft, warm chuckle as he looked at the auburn-haired male. The real smile honestly warmed the blond man's heart... It fitted Bo so well. When the tall male heard the nurse's name, he blinked a few times and laughed softly. "Ah, right... I can't call you my nurse forever~" He said warmly and tilted his head with a soft smile. "Lucas Dragoste, though I suppose you already know that."

Bo blushed faintly and laughed as well, though it was soft. "Yeah, I...read it on your file." His smile widened slightly and he turned to the door. "Ready to go? If you need a ride we can call a car to come and pick you up." He held the door open for the blonde, waiting patiently. He was hopeful that maybe their friendship would work out even with the police and mafia problem. For some reason he already felt close to Lucas.

Lucas smiled and lightly shook his head. “No need, I want to walk back on my own... I didn't really get a chance to walk a lot here~“ He said with a chuckle as he stepped closer to Bo and walked off the room, looking around with a smile. The blond let out a small hum before looking at the nurse. “I know I've said it before, but... I'm really glad you were my nurse. I'm sure all of your patients will be as happy as I was~“ Lucas said warmly and looked at the other softly. “Ah, right, I'll come pick you up after you end work tonight, okay?“

"I hope so too," Bo agreed, feeling warmed by the praise, hoping that the heat didn't go straight to his cheeks; that would only cause more embarrassment. "Sure. I'll be waiting outside." He was excited for the meet-up and was worried that he wouldn't be able to focus for the rest of the day. Why am I acting like a high-school girl? We're only friends anyway...

Lucas smiled softly and started walking down the hall. "Where will you want to go? A cafe of some kind?" He asked softly as he pushed his hands into his pockets. "I know a great, small cafe not too far away from here... It's really nice and quiet, kind of like a mini library~" The blond said somewhat happily as he looked at Bo. "What do you think?"

The auburn-haired man thought for a moment, then shrugged; if he had been wearing jeans instead of scrubs he would have put his hands in his pockets. "You can decide. I'll go anywhere." He didn't really mind where they went, as long as it wasn't somewhere dirty...he wasn't very picky when it came to going out. But then again, he didn't really like large groups...this man had made him forget about that so easily? "Um, as long as there isn't too many people..." he added.

Lucas blinked a few times and chuckled softly before nodding. "Alright, I'm sure there won't be a lot of people here... But, uhm, do you mind if I bring Cath along? I doubt she'll let me leave alone..." The blond added with a soft chuckle as he glanced back at Bo. "I get the feeling she'll like you a lot... Especially since you took such good care of me~" He said with an honest smile.

Bo's blue eyes widened and he looked up at Lucas in surprise. "Your younger sister? You'll let me meet her?" He couldn't help but feel trusted when the blonde told him that. It was as if they were already friends. I get to meet someone from his family already? That's...really nice. His smile grew slightly. "I'd like to meet her."

Lucas blinked a few times as he looked at the nurse, slightly confused. "What do you mean 'I'll let you'? She won't let me not introduce you to her!" He said with a something close to a frown on his face, though it was quite playful and he chuckled. "Cath's a really nice girl, she wouldn't miss the chance of meeting you." The tall male said as they reached the exit and Lucas stopped, looking at Bo with a soft, loving smile.

The young nurse put his hands behind his back and looked up at Lucas shyly. "Okay...I guess I'll see you tonight?" He had no classes the next day, so a late night was fine with him. He just hoped that he wouldn't fall asleep while they were out. That would be very embarrassing. Behind him, he heard the sound of a new patient being brought in. "Oh...I better go." He smiled at the blonde man and waved before walking away.

Lucas smiled softly and nodded as he tilted his head and looked at Bo. “Yeah, I'll be here when you finish work~“ He promised softly and smiled warmly, watching as the nurse walked off. “See you...“ He muttered out to himself and turned around, walking out of the hospital with a small smile on his face. The blond sighed softly as he finally stepped outside and took in a deep breath of the fresh air... It felt nice to finally be outside. The tall male hummed to himself as he slowly began walking home, trying not to worry too much about anything for now... Today he just wanted to relax.

The sky was dark when Bo finished his shift at the hospital. The moon was covered by clouds, but the starts were as bright as ever. Though the young nurse was tired, he was looking forward to meeting up with Lucas. He couldn't help but smile at the thought as he changed out of his scrubs and into his usual clothes; black skinny jeans, a black band t-shirt, black converse sneakers, and his black, white-furred hooded coat. He was waiting by the front around 10:15, wondering if Lucas would drive; he had his own car parked in the garage.

Lucas hummed to himself as he stopped his car in front of the hospital and rolled down the window once he spotted Bo. "Hey~" He greeted as he pushed the door open. "Get in, sorry I'm late~ A certain princess here couldn't decide what to dress..." As the blond said that, he tossed a glance at the back seat from where only an annoyed puff came from. If someone was to look, he would have seen a young, petit girl with golden, long hair, brown eyes and long eyelashes. She was wearing a cute pink dress and white shoes, and the only thing that wasn't adorable... No, actually, even the pout on her face was cute. It was no wonder Lucas cared so much for his little sister.
