Lucas blinked a few times, staring at his hand in Bo's before he burst out laughing. He pulled his hand out and pressed a warm kiss to his boyfriend's cheek. "I was just kidding." He chuckled and smiled widely, exiting through the door. "You take everything so literally... Really, you shouldn't take everything I say seriously~" The blond said with a wide, warm smile on his face.

Bo stared after him in confusion during the time it took for the blonde to make his way to the door. Then, his lips formed an 'o' and realization dawned in his blue eyes. He blushed slightly in embarrassment and hurried after him, quickly slipping his hand into Lucas' once again. "Sorry," he apologized, "but my family wasn't the joking type."

Lucas smiled lovingly at his boyfriend, gently squeezing his hand. "It's okay~" The blond said with a smile and continued walking slowly. "I tend to joke a lot... Just tell me if I should stop." He muttered softly and lightly pecked the other's lips. The man walked slowly, his legs just a little bit shaky as they neared to the cafeteria. His brown eyes showed momentarily pain sometimes, yet there was no other sign of it.

Bo quickly shook his head and gave Lucas another smile, but his blue eyes were somewhat pleading. "No no, don't stop. It's...I like it when you make jokes." The gentle, light pink blush returned. "I've never really been exposed to them, and they seem fun. I want to learn how to use them." He sounded completely sincere, and he made sure to keep Lucas steady as they made their way down the halls.

A grin slowly grew on Lucas' face and he simply wasn't able to resist the need to kiss his boyfriend. "Alright, cutie~" He chuckled and stepped into the cafeteria. "Okay now... What's edible in here?" He huffed with a thoughtful face. "Bo, what should I get? Are there pancakes?" He thought out loud while slowly running his thumb over the nurse's hand in his own.

Bo's blush darkened, and when the brief kiss ended he let out a soft giggle, trying not to pay attention to the disapproving looks certain people were giving them. "Um...I eat here every day when I'm working, and there are some good choices." He led Lucas into the center of the cafeteria and began to point out different areas. "You can get hot meals there, and then there are salads and fruit and drinks over there."

Lucas swore his heart melted when his boyfriend giggled. Giggled! That was the cutest sound ever. "Hot meals it is." The blond decided with a grin as he began walking towards that area, being careful so that no one bumped into his shoulder. "Hey, Bo... You haven't changed your mind about trying 'it' with me sometime?" He asked carefully, looking back at the other with serious eyes. "You know, I won't force you to if you don't want to."

The young nurse almost choked on air when Lucas mentioned 'it'. Hos can he say that so casually? And out of no where! He bit his lip and averted eye contact. "I...I'm open to it, but I just don't want to...you know...not do it right." He was afraid that, because he was asexual, that he might not react in the way most other people do when having sex.

Lucas blinked and rolled his eyes before quickly pecking Bo's cheek. "There's no way to not do it right. I promise I'll take good care of you, and if you feel that you want to stop in the middle of it, say so." The blond muttered softly before turning to see what was on the menu. He seemed overly thoughtful while he was thinking of what to eat...

Bo smiled slightly, both comforted and intimidated by Lucas' kindness. "O-okay." He couldn't help but wrap his arms around the blonde's as he waited for his patient to order. He himself wasn't very hungry, but he was thinking of getting a drink. "See anything you like?" he asked softly after a few minutes of gazing up at his boyfriend's brown eyes while they studied the menu.

Lucas let out a hum of approval at the question as he looked at his boyfriend with a smile. "I think I'll just have an omelette with cheese and some tea." He decided and walked off to order that for himself. "What do you want?" He asked Bo before saying what he was ordering for himself to the nice cashier at the counter. That was a young woman who tossed a bit of a jealous look at Bo, not really saying anything. It was no wonder, actually. Lucas was nice, plus he had a well-built body and face. What else could there be better?

Bo, being the observant man he was, quickly noticed the woman's expression. His blue eyes widened and he ducked his head, his cheeks heating again. He was also very sensitive, and suddenly he was quite self-conscious and a little bit nervous. "Um...I'll probably just have some juice. I'm not very hungry." His shyness was returning, covering the brightness he had developed while alone with Lucas.

Lucas couldn't help but grin down at his boyfriend before wrapping an arm around him gently. "Cutie." He muttered softly and pressed a kiss to the side of his head while waiting for their orders. "What juice would you like?" The cashier asked after having returned with the blond's breakfast. She smiled sweetly at him, then tossed another jealous glance at the young nurse. What a goddarn lucky guy...

The woman's glare only served to make Bo shrink back even further. He wasn't one to advocate public displays of affection, but she was increasing his anxiety and he subconsciously drew closer to the blonde for support. Because he was rarely in situations such as these, no one really saw this timid side of him; he was always shy, but never this outwardly nervous. How he was acting now was completely new to Lucas. "Um...cranberry?" It came out more like a question than a statement.

Lucas sighed out quietly and looked at the cashier a bit blamingly while keeping an arm protectively around his boyfriend. Not a word was said after that and soon they got their food, therefore they were able to go and sit down. Lucas' eyes were still carefully observing the young nurse, however. "Hey, you okay?" He asked softly while passing him the juice. "You seem really nervous... Should we go and eat somewhere else?" The blond asked quietly, completely ready to go off if only Bo asked him to.

Bo sighed and shook his head, accepting the juice and running his fingers over the label. "No...I'm sorry. I don't usually...I don't usually act like that. It's just...I don't know. She was looking at me." His cheeks flushed slightly, and his embarrassed blue eyes were turned down towards the table. "People don't usually notice me that much."

Lucas blinked and smiled warmly before reaching out to take Bo's hand into his own. "Hey, come on, it's nothing to be nervous about. She can't do anything..." He said with a warm laugh as he smiled and pulled his hand away. "Anyway, I'm starving." He announced before digging into his meal.

Bo's smile widened a bit, and his blue eyes expressed his gratitude. "It's good that you're hungry," he said, leaning forward and resting his chin in his hand. "If you were really sick, you wouldn't want to eat." He tilted his head and watched the blonde eat for a few moments, absent-mindedly sipping on his juice.

Lucas had his mouth full and looked exactly like a chipmunk when he lifted his head, wanting to reply something. Thank God he had enough brain to actually swallow everything before talking... "Yep, I don't even feel sick!" He said with a wide smile, though his head was throbbing quite badly. The blond knew he had a fever, but he didn't want to worry Bo with it.. It would probably pass in a day or something.

The young nurse laughed softly when Lucas lifted his head, revealing his stuffed cheeks. "Hey, don't eat so fast," he chided lightly, a look of fondness coming to rest on his face. "Even if you're hungry, eating too fast will end up making you sick, especially since you haven't eaten much these past few days." The blonde was doing a very good job at hiding his fever behind the smile, as even Bo's perceptive nature didn't pick up on it.

Lucas just didn't have the need to admit he was only eating like this to make it pass quicker. He laughed along with Bo, adoring the look of fondness even in this state; which he refused to show. "Alright, alright. Whatever you say~" The blond smiled warmly and continued eating slower, though that definitely made his stomach churn. To ease it, the man drank his tea, still not showing even the slightest hint to his state. Soon enough he was done, stretching with a somewhat dissatisfied expression about his cracking joints. "Uhh... Could you help me get to the bathroom?" Lucas asked with a smile, hoping to get the chance to puke. He was feeling sick from all that food...

Bo nodded and stood up, walking over to stand by Lucas' side. He extended a hand to the blonde. "Don't worry about the plates. Someone will be by to pick them up." The smile was still on his face, but the question had made him a bit uneasy. He knew that Lucas needed help walking, as he hadn't moved for more than a week, but the way he had asked to go to the bathroom made it sound like something was wrong. He would wait until they were alone to ask, though.

Lucas smiled at Bo and took his hand, slowly standing up. He did his best not to show how much worse he was actually feeling today, but he wasn't sure if he could keep this up for long. "Thanks." He muttered out softly and pressed a kiss to his boyfriend's cheek before beginning to walk. He was using the younger as slight support, his steps the slightest bit wobbly. This, sadly, he wasn't able to hide.

Bo's nursing instincts--he refused to consider them motherly--instantly latched onto the way Lucas held himself as they walked. Something is wrong. He deliberately slowed their pace to lower the strain on the blonde and allowed the older man to lean against him more heavily. One arm was around the taller man's waist, palm flat against his lower back, and he other reached across his front to hold his hand. Soon they were halfway down the hall and standing in front of the restrooms.

Lucas realized that Bo knew something was wrong, yet that only made him try and hide it further. Though he was thankful for Bo holding him like that, he knew he wouldn't be able to do anything too big secretely. Even worse, with each step he felt more and more like throwing up. The blond, once they reached the bathrooms, flashed a small smile to his boyfriend and walked in, alone. He locked himself into one of the cabins and barely had the time to kneel down until everything he ate rose up to his mouth. It was a disgusting feeling, and it was hard keeping as quiet as possible. It was probably impossible to keep this from Bo...
