Rin wasn't bothered by Luceal being nude. He had often bathed with his other guardian friends all the time. After grabbing a bar of soap he followed Luceal.

"Don't run Luceal"

Warning the furniture King. How desperately he wanted to go look for his fellow guardians. Hoping they were ok.

 

He sighed stepping into the water and sitting down. The water so hot and inviting. He sat close to Luceal.

"There is so much I need to teach you. "

He muttered to himself. He stared down into the water.

"Luceal.. Each country has there own guardians. Since there's six states. There are six guardians. All together as a country we are know as Sairamonda. I'm on of the six great guardians of Sairamonda. Do you get it? Six states six guardians. There are other country's over seas. Some may have 13.. or 20. "

He sighed looking at the Prince.

"Each guardian specialize's in something. Out of the six of us I specialize in mediating, serial skills, fighting, hunting, defense. I trained the others to fight. I can't do much magic. It is important that we find the others so you can learn from them.

There's Tamaki, who specializes in wind and air magic, There's Kaname, who specializes in fire and lighting magic, there's the two brothers Koi and Crain. Koi specializes on water magic as his brother does metal and earth. And then there's Sai- who specializes in weapons. "

"Six states...six guardians, got it"

 

He took in all the other was saying and filed it all away for later use.

He began cleaning himself up with his back turned to Rin.

"How do we find them?...and by the way, are all these countries overseas experiencing the same thing as we are here in Sairmonda?"

That was a good question. Rin stared to clean and wash himself..

"I do not know how to find him."

May be they were dead for all He knew.

"And the other country overseas well... I wouldn't know either. It seems a month has passed since Lord Vain took over.."

They were lost... Luceal and him had no way of knowing how to find the other guardians. It seemed hopeless...

"But don't you worry Luceal. Together we will find the others...and you'll find your rightful place. I swear it on my life"

He looked at Luceal a long moment before standing up- his body clean and glistening. He wrapped the towel over his nude body and stepped out.

"Are you done Luceal?"

He wouldn't dare leave the Prince alone!

"Yea. Let's go inside and rest up for the night".

A little less embarrassed about his state of dress, or rather the lack thereof, he got out of the pool and wrapped himself in his towel. Touching the other's shoulder lightly he motioned towards the man standing behind the table.

"Now about those clothes...maybe we can ask him"

 

After a good night's rest on Luceal's part, they set out the following morning continuing on to Synth. They had a short breakfast as well even Nila was a fed by Lu. The walking was tiring but he would press on. He refused to be dead weight to Rin so he decided that he would walk no matter what.

As they reached the capital of Synth they behold the the lands beauty.

 

 

Rin smiled a little as they neared looking back at Luceal, He was wearing new clothes that didn't give him away. It looked like a kimono but only the top as he was wearing pants that reached to his knees and sandals that cover his feet and reached his ankles but only reviled his toes.

His outfit black and dark purple. It suited him well.

 

As they made there way inside many people looked at the saber tooth tiger- fear in there eyes. Rin stayed very close to Luceal when suddenly a girl bumped into Rin. The girl had pretty blond hair and big cute eyes. She bowed frantically her voice very soft and little. She had a gorgeous kimono on- it was light pink with cute designs on it.

 

The girl-

 

"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry."

Rin could tell right away that the young girl was blind. He took her hand.

"Do no worry friend. Are you alright? "

She blushed at Rin's kindness.

"Um..y-Yes. B-but... I'm.. lost"

"Your caretaker must of lost in you in the crowd- I''ll take you back home, may I ask you for you name?"

" Juliet..."

"Juliet? What a lovely name. "

"T-thank you"

Her pink cheeks turning red. Being flattered.

He smiled at her looking back at Luceal.

"Do you mind Luceal"

He questioned still hold the girls hand gently. Rin was so nice. So sweet that he'd give you cavities.

The entire scenery was like a breath of fresh air. Luceal looked around in boyish wonder at Synth. The long, wide sleeves of his blue and white Hanfu (ruqun and shenyi included) swayed in the breeze at his sides as he pet Nila absently. Apparently he was too small to fit in any of the available male kimonos. It was either what he had on now or a female kimono.

 

 

 

He could almost feel the saber tooth's fear which was quite strange but that didn't make the feeling less real. The poor feline was frightened by all the people staring at her. He pet her side gently hoping to calm his scared pet. It wouldn't go well if she snapped and went berserk.

 

His attention was turned back to his surroundings as he saw a blonde girl apologizing to Rin profusely. She must've bumped into him. It didn't surprise him in the least when he saw how kind Rin was to her. By now, he was absolutely sure that his guardian had a heart of gold. He watched as the raven spoke to the girl softly. He truly was a nice guy.

 

"Miss Juliet was it?...I don't mind... not at all"

He assumed that his guardian wanted to find the girl's caretakers and he really wouldn't mind her traveling with them until such was achieved.

Nila lay her head flat on the ground motioning for Luceal to get on her back. He smiled and pet her head gently before climbing up mindful of his attire. He sat on her back as comfortably as he could which wasn't very hard seeing as Nila's fur was very soft. The large cat began walking an they made their way deeper into the city.

 

He had started feeling weary since they left the inn and now the tiredness was really starting to set in. He was sure that he shouldn't have felt so tired already but he was just about ready to pass out. Everyone and everything he looked at seemed to draw more energy from him. But what was really surprising was when he looked over at a tall man,wearing a cloak concealing his identity, he felt as if he knew him and could tell-no- feel that the other was sad. He could literally feel the emotions of those around him.

He filed that away for later use. He lay his head down on Nila's and comforted by the soft fur he rested for a while.

Rin was so happy that Luceal would allow him to help this girl He looked down at Juliet,

"Juliet. My name is Rin. Please- do not let go of my hand. For the time being I will take care of you."

Juliet was adorably cute as her face was as red As and tomato.

"Y-Yes!"

He smiled at her before he looked back at Luceal. Alarm filling him.

"Luceal! "

He keeled beside Nila. His free hand resting on the Prince's forehead.

"Luceal? Are you alright? Have you fallen ill? Look at me"

Worry in his voice. Had Luceal fallen sick? Had Rin not taken care of him properly?!

"Um... i-if your friend is sick. You can stay at my home."

Juliet said sincerely. Rin kissed her hand.

"Thank you so much."

He returned his attention to Luceal.

"Please hold on Luceal. Nila- please alert me if he becomes worse."

He told the tiger as he made his way threw town toward Juliet's home, when they finally found it. It was late.

 

Rin quickly picked up Luceal and laid him on Fontana. Tucking him in.

"How are you feeling? "

Juliet's older brothers had thanked them for returning her and was making dinner- letting them stay the night. They were truly kind, even letting Nila sleep in the same room as them.

The worried voice of his guardian played in the rear of his tired mind like background music. He could tell that the other was freaking out but he just did not have enough energy or even will-power for that matter to raise his head and tell him that he was okay. Instead Nila answered in his stead, growling slightly...not in the least bit frightening. The large cat made something akin to a grunt to confirm her agreement with Rin as she followed him through town.

 

Lavender eyelashes fluttered over pink tourmaline eyes before his eyelids lifted fully. He groaned slightly as he made to sit up. One look around his surroundings and he was curious as to how he got there, or more importantly what made him tired enough to fall into such a deep sleep.

"Rin...I'm fine", he answered the worried guardian, "...but...where...am I?"

 

Unknown to him, his usually soft pink eyes flicked back and forth between mauve and his regular eye color and the tips of his hair painted themselves crimson. But what he did notice was that the various plants in the room were floating, as a matter of fact every living thing in there lifted itself from the ground including Nila.

"Rin? what's wrong?.. what's happening in here?"

"Rin...I'm fine", ... "...but...where...am I?"[/Quote]

Rin was hit with relief. The Prince was feeling better!

"The kind median Juliet and her brother aloud us to stay the night at there home. "

He answered the Prince, when Luceal's usually soft pink eyes flicked back and forth between mauve and his regular eye color and the tips of his hair painted themselves crimson. And then

various plants in the room started floating, every living thing in there room lifted from the ground.

"Rin? what's wrong?.. what's happening in here?"[/Quote]

Indeed. What was happening. Was Luceal developing his gifts? His powers- or was it something else...or...someone else? Rin quickly took Luceal's hand pulling Luceal close to him.

"You must calm down. When dealing with magic everyone has a rock. Something that holds you down. It could be thinking about happy times. Anger. Bitterness, love. Try to concentrate Luceal. No one can know just how powerful you are. Take deep breaths. I'm here for you."

His voice soothing.

Taking deep breaths as was instructed by Rin, he thought of happy things, or rather, he thought of his kind guardian. Smiling softly at the thought of him, he buried his face in said guardian's chest and continued breathing evenly and steadily.

When he was absolutely sure that he was calm -the items in the room settling back down was more than enough indication- he moved away from Rin's form slightly so that he could look up at him.

"I'm okay now...I think"

 

He told the other of the feelings he had felt while on top of Nila and that stran- no, his strange reaction to the man. He looked at Rin with pleading eyes. Hopefully, he could assess the situation.

Rin felt Luceal Rest on his chest. He didn't mind. To Luceal this must be a little scary. Once everything was put down he was very proud of Luceal.

"You did great Luceal. I'm so proud of you.."

 

But his praising only lasted shortly when Luceal told him about

The feelings he had felt while on top of Nila and his strange reaction to the man He saw. Luceal was looking at him with pleading eyes. Rin made a check Mark to his chin. Thinking. Looking away as he thought about what was happening.

 

"You say you feel people's emotions? Hmm. I've read about having such abilities. Your powers aren't stable so they freely do as they please. You feeling others emotions is a extraordinary gift. ( and curse) I assume this but ... I could be wrong. Your great grandmother had always been able too feel others emotions and she couldn't control it. It might just be in your blood line. And you just started feeling like this since you returned. Your powers are awakening Luceal. I know how scary It must be, but you can not only control your gifts. But you can master them. I'm sure you will... "

Rin looked at the young Prince and gently cupped Luceal's cheek.

"But you must listen to me. Now that you can feel people's emotions that leaves you extremely vulnerable to dark magic. When ever you feel darkness coming from anyone you must tell me and we must leave. That darkness will try to consume your very soul. "

 

His eyes warning and stern. Rin looked very serious as he dropped his hand.

"Juliet is coming- "

He whispered just a few seconds before she knocked on the door.

"Come in"

 

As the door slid open Juliet came in wearing a light green kimono looking very elegant.

"I ... I just wanted to thank you for bringing me back home. "

Rin smiled at the blind girl.

"It was my pleasure. "

She nodded shyly taking a seat in the room. When Rin asked her a few questions.

 

"Juliet. If I may ask you a few questions. Do you know what happened to the six guardians of Sairamonda? What has happened to each state?"

"O-oh..well.. I heard 4 of the guardians went missing and 1 was in Saraitto. And another was traveling but.. I'm not sure where. I.. I even heard nasty rumors that a few of the guardians were following Lord Vain... its just awful, I myself don't believe it."

Rin looked shocked and slightly hurt by the news he was receiving. His friends... were they really serving Lord Vain now? Or was it all just rumors?

"And as for the states well. Lord Vain has raised taxes extremely high. Many people are being throw out of there homes. Losing there farms. Parent's are selling their children to slave owners just to make the rent. A lot of the villages are hitting poverty and since a lot of the wild animals have been poisoned with the kings dark magic. They have been making people sick and eating the crops. Stealing has increased in the capitals and There are soldiers spreading out threw out the state's now... I... I fear there's no hope."

Her voice breaking. Rin bit his lip as he took the girls hand. Telling her.

"There is hope Juliet. You just need to believe."

Rin looked at Luceal.

He's our hope... if he fails... then....

Juliet raised her head,tears threatening to escape her.

"How can you say that?! How can you believe! "

Wide-eyed, he nodded in affirmation to everything the other said. It was indeed a scary thing, this new power of his but if it could help with restoring the kingdom to its previous state then he would resign himself to his faith and work hard to achieve it.

 

The purple head was taken aback by what he was hearing. The possibility that the other guardians were possibly working for the man that he needed to destroy was a little disheartening. How would he defeat Lord Vain now? Who would teach him what Rin couldn't? What would become of Saraimonda now that he was sure to fail?

All that and more ran through his head but with much effort he pushed them to the back of his mind and gave the five remaining guardians the benefit of the doubt, hopefully he was right to do so.

 

After hearing just how much the girl had given up made him disappointed in his lack of faith in Rin and himself. These people in Saraimonda, he realised, had more to worry about than a lacking self esteem. They had their way of life and life itself to worry about keeping so he would have to get his act together and ensure that fulfilled what he was required to.

"There is hope Miss Juliet, just because you don't see it coming doesn't mean that it isn't."

That was more than reassurance in is book, it was his promise to not fail the people of his land no matter what.

The blind girl raised her head hearing Luceal.

Juliet smiled sadly.

"I... I wish I was hopeful like you two."

He sniffles wiping her tears away that almost fell. Of course She didn't know Rin was a guardian himself.

"I should leave you two to rest. E-excuse me"

Rin helped the girl up showing her the door. Whispering something to her as he closed the door behind her.

After a moment he looked at Luceal. If the rumors were true...then... where they aready doomed?

"Luceal.. I feel you are unease. I.. I do not believe my friends would ever betray your mother. They must be rumors. "

He Said but ...even He was unsure.

"We'll stay here for a few days until I can get more information about the other guardians. Until then.. rest. I'll teach you what I can."

He sat on his little palette. He looked so lost. He would never appear weak or vulnerable to Luceal since He was always coming to him and he was his protector. He couldn't afford to cry. Oh how he desperately wanted to go look for his friends by himself.

A sad smile made its way across his face as he watched the young girl leave the room as discouraged and hopeless as she had entered. If anything Rin's uncertainty made him even more uneasy but he would look pass that and move on to bigger problems.

 

He rested his head on his guardian's chest with all intention of sleeping right there. There was no way that he would sleep so much as in a separate space from Rin. There was no telling when his powers would do something freaky again. For all he knew, he could turn over the house on top of everyone and die in his sleep knowing that he committed murder. Sure, he was over-analysing and thinking of the worst case scenarios but its what he believed could happen and as such, he did not want to find out that he was something like a medium too by his fears coming true.

Closing his eyes, he snuggled against Rin and slept.

Rin was surprised when Luceal suddenly rested on his chest.

"Luceal.."

Before he could ask the Prince what was he doing. The Prince had fallen asleep. He sighed giving a faint smile.

You look so peaceful. What am I suppose to do...

He ran a hand threw Luceal's hair as be laid him down next to him. Falling on the Fontana with him.

I must protect you... I must never fail you... oh how I wish your mother was here. You resemble her so much..

He stared up at the ceiling a moment. Before closing his eyes and falling asleep.

 

{ SomeWhere off in a Saraitto village }

"Please! I'll have the money in two days! Please don't destroy my home! Think of my grandkids! "

A old man begged a group of soldiers. Three little kids probably around the ages between 6-9 where hiding behind the curtain. It was a poor house with no siding doors like others. It was a poor village. And they had curtains or old sheets for doors.

"It doesn't matter if you have children! If we took that excuse every day Lord Vain would be angry! If you can't pay the rent! Then you lose your home! BOYS-BURN IT DOWN! And his farm! "

"No please sir! I beg of you!"

The old man on his knees grabbing the soldiers feet.

"Release me you filthy peasant!"

He kicked the old man. The children crying and yelling grandpa! A little girl came from the house to her grandfather's side who was now weak from the blow.

"Y-you big Meanie! "

 

The soldier laughed grabbed the girl by her hair.

"Let me show you how mean I can get little lady. When your sold to slave owners I have no doubt men will rape that little body of yours"

The girl trembled as another solider grabbed and pulled her siblings out of the house. And suddenly the old house with straw roofs and dirt floors lit up in flames.

And no one intervened. People watched from there houses. Happy it wasn't them. And sad for there friend.

 

"Let them go-"

A man's voice filled the air. He wore all black. With a cloak covering his body and face. A traveller.

"Ha! Move along traveler. This Doesn't concern you!"

"Help! Help me Mr! "

The little girl yelled in tears as the soldier yanked her pretty hair to shut her up. And suddenly the stranger stood in front of the soldier. Gripping his wrist.

"Let her go... or I break your hand"

"... You fool"

The soldier reached for his sword and then-

 

"AGGGGHHH! AHHHHH!! MY HAND! YOU FUCKING BASTARD!!"

The solider fell to the ground. The other shoulders glared circling the stranger- there swords at ready.

 

"You fucked with the wrong men stranger! "

The stranger held the young girl in one arm pressed againest his chest as he watched the men circling him. Not in fear what so ever. He outstretched his hand and the fire that took over the farm and the old man's home fell from there. Surrounding the stranger. The soldiers quickly panic.

"What the hell! "

The girl was scared holding tightly to the Man that had saved her. The man whispers.

"Don't be scared. You are safe with me"

And the fire around them explored in a bright flash! And the other men were now laid on the ground. Unconious- there faces and body's burned to a crisp. He let the girl down and she ran to her grandpa who took her with open arms along with the other two children. The old man stared up at the other.

 

"T-thank you. You saved our home.. my grandkids. My farm...h-how ever can I thank you!"

The stranger still had on his cloak looking mysterious as ever.

" You can give me a place to stay and food."

The old man laughed.

"Of course! "

The little girl watched the stranger closely.

"Who are you Mr.."

Her voice faint and adorable.

He smirked taking off his hood and pushing his black cloak back.

He had dark brown hair that was tangled in lose curls that reached the back of his neck. And shimmering brown eyes- but they looked red... a dark sexy red.

"I am Kaname. A fire welder. And one of the six guardians of Sairamonda"

In the darkest room he had ever seen, six figures surrounded him and by their builds he could tell that they were men. They formed a circle around him as if protecting him from unseen forces. Admittedly, he knew he was sleeping but somehow this dream was different from all the others...it felt important as if it held the key to their answers. He looked around or rather he tried to but everything was pitch black. It was almost like an empty void. The only reason he could see the figures around him was because they glowed softly.

 

He tried to speak but his voice came out gargled sounding like he was under water. He frowned.

That didn't make any sense. Though, he wasn't sure where he was; he was sure that he was on land or at least some semblance of it but now he wasn't so sure. Each of the men had a different feel to them but they all somehow reminded him of Rin. That's when it struck him...they may be his guardians!

 

He reached out to touch one and he leaned into the touch before going down on one knee. Going toward the second, he did the same and was given the same result. He continued to do the same exact thing to all of them and they all reacted the same way. The thought that maybe they could help him find them was the most encouraging thing he had thought of since his arrival at Saraimonda.

So with that thought in mind, he tried speaking to them again but this time through touch -since that's the only thing they reacted to.

He touched the first figure's cheek. 'State your name and location' He looked up as his body became wrapped up in a cloak. 'Kaname, your highness...I am in Saraitto' He blinked, surprised that it actually worked. Moving on to the other he did the same. 'My name is Rin, my lord...I am with you'

He smiled at him more than aware that he could only feel them through emotion. He somehow knew that the guardians' spiritual selves had found him only through his distress. And if his power was that great then surely with training he was sure to destroy Vain.

 

After inquiring where they all were, he found out that Tamaki and Crain lied south of Saraget, surviving with each other's help, and Sai in Saraest. But strangely Koi would not 'talk' to him not even the faintest sound left his person. He would have to ask Rin about it later.

'Thank you all. I feel a bit better. I'm afraid I must wake up so I will see you all soon. Looking towards the figure he named as Koi, he smiled sadly and woke up to a new morning outside of his dream.

 

As soon as Rin was up he told him of all the things he saw and of all the emotions he experienced. He doubted the other knew that he was there but none of the guardians would know. He had felt the pull on his power. Their appearance was all his doing.

When Rin woke up He was surprised to hear the others story. The strange dream He had.

"You say Kaname is in Saraitto and Tamaki and Crain south of Saraget. Hmm... that does not make sense..."

He leaned on the wall.

"You must understand that Crain and Koi are brothers, I have never heard of them being apart. They are always together. Always... Something isn't right."

He sighed running a hand threw his hair.

"... And you said When you asked Koi where he was he didn't respond huh? "

Rin didn't know his friend was in the very depths of darkness where not even Luceal could reach him with out falling into the darkness him self. And Sai and Crain were following his lead.

"Are you sure about this Luceal. If we head to Saraitto are you certain that Kaname is there? "

 

Lord Vain Sat awake in bed, He had sensed a strange presence. Someone had messed with his spell he had casted on a few of the guardians.

He frowned.

Who could have such strength?! Who dares try to defy me!!! I must find them. And kill them,

The game...was just now beginning.

Personality: A evil man. Cruel and harsh. Hates love and happiness- and stole the throne from Luceal's parents.

Past: He was once a charming like-able guy until He fell in love with Luceal's mother, after there long time friendship as children. But Luceal's mother rejected him. Causing him to resign being a guardian, and being taken over my dark magic. He is now the king of Sairamonda- now that he's killed the royal king and queen.

"I could tell that something wasn't right. Three of them seemed very hard to go near and that is precisely the reason why we need to find them get them to help us, so let's get going. We will find Kaname first I can feel it. It's almost as if he's trying to find us- somehow he knows that i'm here and he's trying to get closer through me"

He looked at Rin pleadingly. "So please Rin, although my powers haven't advanced all that much yet trust me on this. I can feel him and he is as determined to find us as much as I am to find him"

Rin met Luceal's eyes. His pleading eyes. A lot of this made no sense to him. The fact that Kaname knew of the young prince's existence Was preposterous! But... he knew Luceal was special, perhaps he felt something. Perhaps he was right.

He sighed looking away. Giving in.

"Alright. We'll head to Saraitto."

He didn't want to put the Prince in danger. He knew there previous destination Synth Was the safest for Luceal. He shook his head. He needed to have faith in Luceal.. just like he had for his mother.

 

He started gathering a few things for there trip. Putting them in a pack. Once that was done he walked out of the room speaking with Juilet's brother. Telling them they were leaving. He gave them food for there trip.

 

Rin regretted not saying goodbye to the blind girl but... she was asleep and he didn't dare wake up the young beauty. As Luceal and him headed out of the village he made sure the young Prince was close behind.

"... Luceal... when you had your dream. Were you scared? Or did you feel safe?"

He questioned him.

Tamiki was covered in mud. His left shoulder bleeding badly. He pants againest a tree that he his hiding behind.

He was in the swamps of Saraget... the air was stuffy, the surrounding full of dense fog. The water reaching up to his thighs. The swamps were a dangerous place. With 8 foot long alligator's and man eating plants. Underwater snakes the size of a two floor building.

 

W-why... why Crain..

He had to run. He refused to fight his friend. Who had just tried to kill Him and was still in hot pursuit after him. He had saw the red mark behind his neck. He knew his friend was being controlled. But he had no idea how to break such a dark curse....

Crap... I'm losing too much blood... everything's getting blurry..

The ground benth him shook.

oh no. Got to k-keep moving. He knows where I am.

Crain was the guardian specializing in Earth and metal. When he caused a earth quack he sent vibrations in the ground making him feel anything And everything's location...even Tamiki's. Who started moving again.

Lord Vain recalled a time where Luceal's mother fell sick for nine months. As he poured the blood of the dead women in a small pond outside in the garden. He whispered a forbbidon dark spell.

"Darkness- here my plead. Reach into the passed and bring me what I seek. Show the truth. Spear no agony or pain. Make the dead recall what once was time. And now is mine."

The pond glowed a dark green- and showed a blurry image.

There stood the queen- holding something fragile and soft. Vain squinted his eyes- struggling to see.

"A...baby..."

His eyes widened.

"THAT WENCH HAD A CHILD!?!!!?

That child could very well ruin everything! It could take away His throne!

I must find the child, and kill it. It'll ruin everything...it'll bring hope to the people.

He looked deeper into the pond.

".... so... you had...a son.~"

He glared.

"I will find you.. little boy... don't you dare think you can run from me..."

"For the most part I was a bit frightened but then they felt really familiar after a while." He thought it over for a moment. "Well actually a few of the guardians -not including you of course- were really hard to talk to. Realising that he was blabbering unnecessarily, he continued walking behind Rin in brisk steps. Every few minutes, he would check on Nila. Ever since his powers had started showing up she became excessively protective of him. Now she walked closer than usual and was constantly looking around as if someone was following them. Perhaps she was just worried about him he thought. Animals were after all very sensitive to their master's emotions. And hopefully that assumption was right. Luceal frowned. If not then whatever the dark feeling he was feeling was, he knew now that it wasn't nausea as he had passed it off to be.

Rin didn't quite understand the prince's question he continued to walk ahead speaking,

"Well. We may all be guardians but we all have different personalities Luceal. Kaname is.. well."

He struggled to find words.

"He's a rather rude fellow. He gives off this cold hearted area but.. inside he is kind..I think"

He smiled- sighing.

"Tamiki is very friendly. Somewhat of a big brother to all.. Sai is.... well he's a goofball in all honesty. And Koi and Crain... they are very withdrawn. In fact... they rarely ever talk to anyone other then each other..it's understandable if Kaname, Koi, and Crain where standoffish. It's just like them to be... perhaps it was just hard for them to trust you."

 

They stared heading up a cliff.

"Watch your step. "

The leaf's scattering the ground made it very easy to trip. And there were a lot of rocks here and there.

 

 

The sky stared to get very cloudy. Gray clouds made everything ominous. Rin paused wondering if they should stop and head back down before it rains, or continue.

I can't risk Luceal getting sick...

He bit his lip.

He smiled at the Rin's warning taking it to heart, so as to not worry his guardian too much. He looked up at the sky as gray clouds started coming over but it didn't smell like rain. It even felt a bit strange, as if something evil was in the vicinity. He frowned at the thought. The emotions swirling around in his body didn't even feel like they were his. They felt foreign and somewhat stronger than his own.

 

Suddenly Nila roared loudly at Luceal. He frowned at her. "Nila what is the problem?" She only growled at him menacingly. He felt offended by it and was maybe even a bit angered. Being a usually patient and tolerant person those feelings surprised him greatly and once more they didn't feel like they were his.

"Nila, STOP!" his voice boomed out. She whimpered and shied away from him. Feeling mad but mostly at himself he continued walking ahead of Rin in heavy steps. "Now stop being like that and come, Nila!" Frightened by her master's behaviour Nila followed at a distance .

Rin was surprised by Luceal's reaction. He had never heard the young Prince yell. Let alone sound upset. Something wasn't right. He could feel rain hit his skin.

Crap!

He stumbled and surprisingly found a small cave.

"Luceal- this way-"

He grabbed the others arm. But they were already soaked. The rain falling down hard! He held Luceal close to him. Nila inside the cave curled up in a ball. Rin cupped Luceal's cheek.

"You can not stay in those wet clothes. You'll fall ill. Remove them."

He Said glancing out if the cave to make sure they were safe. He'd warm the other up with his body heat. Since he couldn't make a fire. And it was rather chilly now.

Dazedly, he followed Rin into the cave. As he undressed, he reflected on how he acted only moments before. It was strange and quite frightening. He was barely conscious of the fact that he was getting naked and fast right in front of Rin. He was more set on the fact that he had upset Nila greatly.

 

Looking over to the great big cat in only his underwear, he smiled at her and cautiously made his way over there. She still held that frightened look in her eyes but it had dimmed slightly. He touched her furry cheek gently and pet her soft fur.

"I'm sorry Nila I don't know what came over me but i'll try my best not to let it happen again...am I forgiven?" She turned her head away stubbornly. "Come Nila", he begged "please Nila" The large cat gave him a skeptical look before curling her body around his warming him up. Smiling at Rin, "Come over here Rin and let Nila warm us up" he said.

Rin watched the young Prince apologize to his pet- almost completely naked. So he didn't need to worry about the Prince being cold- since he was snuggling up to the saber tooth tiger. He stared at Luceal as he Said,

"Come over here Rin and let Nila warm us up"[/Quote]

"Thank you for your concern, but I need to stand guard. Rest... we'll leave when the skies clear."

He looked away staring out into the magical world he had always known. He crossed His arms leaning on the cave wall.Watching the rain hit the sharp rocks. He was drenched and was now cold to the touch. But he remained strong not shivering. He would always be strong for Luceal. He would never show weakness.
