Masaki didn't ask questions. He simply nodded and let Hiroki do what he needed to do, following him without saying anything. Hiroki's birthplace felt almost haunted to him, like a spirit would come up and take his body without him even feeling a thing. He held onto Hiroki's arm, not wanting to get distracted and lost.

Hiroki glanced at Masaki. He then knelt down beside a spot beside the tree. The dirty there clearly moved at some point. He gathered some dirt in his hands as a few flowers bloomed from it. He then placed them upon the dirt. His gaze turned into one of sadness. With a soft sigh he stood up. "Alright, let's get out of here. I can tell your a bit creep out." he said picking up the other.

"It's just that I don't really know what to make of this..." Masaki said. "I'm not as freaked out as I am confused."

Masaki watched as the flowers bloomed in Hiroki's hands, almost fascinated in the spectacle.

"Is this a memorial to something or someone?" he asked.

[azuneko]

"Oh I guess an explanation would have been best. This is where I buried my twin brother." he said standing the other beside him. "Our parents ruled this entire place. When we were born most though it was great. Two sons to rule when the king passed. Though for some odd reason I was instantly considered a bad omen and placed within the cage we passed by in the center of town. It was said those who got close to me would be cursed. Though my brother never saw it that way. He would always come talk with me, give me food or water. He was the only one. Until one day he was caught by the townspeople. They were so worried about being cursed that they chopped his head off. Our parents hadn't heard since they had been in another village on their way back. I lost it and destroyed everything. They assumed I was the one who cut his head off and attacked me. Well I'm sure see everything here you can tell I left no survivors." Hiroki said softly

"I don't understand why they'd think that." Masaki said. "Nothing bad has ever come out of our relationship. You've brought me more joy than anything money can buy."

Masaki hugged Hiroki, hoping his statement would have the desired effect on its recipient.

Hiroki smiled as he looked at Masaki and sweetly kissed him. "Your too kind. Honestly I never knew why they considered me a bad omen and I never bothered to ask before taking their lives. I did ask the entire time I was in that cage. Though no one ever wished to give me an answer. Oh well nothing I can do now. Let's get going. This place bothers me after a while." he said

"Let's go, then." Masaki said. He looked to the tree, where Hiroki's twin brother was buried and felt almost sad. He never knew that Hiroki's clan was killed off because they thought he was a scourge. It made him treasure the chance Hiroki gave for their friendship even more than before.

Hiroki walked with the other back out by the waterfall. He sighs softly as he looked up at the sky. "Shall we be on our way to my place?" he asked as he started leading the way. He was sure the other probably still had many questions but some things were best left unsaid for now.

"Yeah." Masaki said. "I want to see your place."

Masaki's hand softly intertwined with Hiroki's and he waited for him to start walking.

Hiroki walked up around the waterfall. He started to walk deep within the forest. He went back closer towards the town. Here we are. It was the same little hut the glowing flowers had led Masaki to be. "This is the back entrance to my home. I use it because its closer to the toward. When I get lazy I just crash here. Besides, I'm the only one in my house so I often avoid going home. Though because your special I'll show you the front doors." he said kissing Masaki's cheeks. He said picking up the boy into his arms. He took a deep breath before jumping up onto the tallest tree. "See it...?"

"That tree... Is that your home?" Masaki asked. He didn't know that Hiroki kept two homes, and the second looked impressive in comparison to the first one he had seen earlier. "Is it fine if I take a look inside?"

[azuneko]

"This is my permanent home. I just don't use it because it is rather lonely being there." he said softly. He walked towards the arched pathway. "Sure you can. I don't mind. We will stay here while you are with me. Then when your ready to go home you can always find me in that small hut." he says

"It's lonely?" Masaki said. "But don't you enjoy having a lot of space to yourself?"

Being from a royal upbringing, Masaki was used to having a lot of space to himself. Hearing that Hiroki preferred living in a small hut while he was alone confused him.

[azuneko]

"I was confined in a cage since birth. So I'm always alone. I'm sorry if that confuses you. Your from a manor with such a lot of people there even if some disliked you it was still a place you weren't alone. Anyway let's go inside." Hiroki said

Masaki went inside the house. It seemed larger on the inside than the outside, and he felt impressed. Perhaps it wasn't going to be that different from his home after all.

"It seems really spacious in here. How many rooms do you have?" he asked.

[azuneko]

Hiroki walked inside with him. "Its a growing house. The rooms are infinite in size and space. If I invite fifty people and only thirty stay, I will have spacious rooms for all of them. So for now two rooms for the both of us. Unless you wish to share one with me." he said walking inside. He hadn't been in here in a long time. It was a bit dusty but that was pollen. He walked to one of the glass windows looking at the water. "So anything else your curious about?"

"Why don't we have just one large room for you and me?" Masaki asked. "It would save space."

He continued to look around the house, thankful that he didn't have a pollen allergy. Hiroki's house seemed a little warmer than his own palace, but he supposed that wood absorbed more heat than marble.

"Anyway, when did this place get built?" he asked.

[azuneko]

"I built it after I left that place we visited before. I stayed here honing my skills and different abilities. It was interesting and rather fun at that time. I felt free and empowered. Though the days grew lonely and I built that small hut you seen me in. It was closer to town and to people." Hiroki said

"I see..." Masaki said. "So anyway, it's getting kinda late, so do you want to go to bed? I'm kinda tired."

Masaki yawned cutely, rubbing his eyes. He looked around for their room. The light of the moon gently shone down into the tree house and cast subtle shadows into the room.

[azuneko]

"Sure thing. Our room is this way my cute prince." he said taking hold of Masaki's hand. He walked down the halls to a door that looked nothing more than a leaf. He pushed it aside to reveal the bedroom. "Come rest my love. Tomorrow we can walking through the flower fields and watch butterflies." he said

Masaki looked at the double bed in the center of the room and immediately went to lay down on it. It felt as soft as a cloud, like his body was resting in a mass of fluff. Reluctantly standing up to get ready for bed, he turned to Hiroki once more.

"Where are the bathrooms? I need to wash up before bed." Masaki said, playing with the bottom buttons of his shirt.

Hiroki walked over to the opposite side of the room. He opened a door revealing the bathroom. "Take as long as you want. I'll be right here if you need me." he said walking back towards the bed. He glanced out the open areas looking at the water falling down. He missed this place but he never liked how lonely he felt here before. Now with Masaki he didn't mind staying here.

Masaki went to the bathroom and was surprised to see that it was a full bathroom with a shower and bath. He stripped and went into the shower, letting out a soft sigh as the water rushed down his body. He really loved being with Hiroki like this. He began to wonder if Hiroki was the one he was looking for all this time. He thought back to the ring he bought for his future mate as he showered, wondering how much longer he'd have to wait before presenting it to Hiroki. Turning off the water after a while, he folded his clothes nicely, putting on only his small black briefs before returning to the bedroom. He laid himself out on the bed, yawning.

"It's so comfy." he said. "What's it made of?"

Hiroki was laying in the bed with a soft sigh. He really enjoyed Masaki's company. He wouldn't mind being by his side a while longer. It was good to not be alone all the time. He wonders if this was the comfort he had been wishing for all this time. Closing his eyes he soon felt the other laying beside him.. "Its made of rose petals."

Masaki snuggled up closer to Hiroki's warmth. This was just like the first night they spent at the palace. In a soft bed together. Sleeping in perfect silence like this. He didn't want it to be over. Grasping lightly at his boyfriend, Masaki buried his head in Hiroki's shoulder.

"Good night, love." he said before drifting off to sleep.
