By the time Hiroki arrived, Masaki was in another room altogether, gagged, though his muffled screams could be heard faintly off to his left. The entire palace was dark and foreboding, like it were haunted. For a time, it seemed impossibly quiet, the silence swallowing the soft sounds of Hiroki's breath and footsteps. After a while, two of the servants closed the doors behind Hiroki and another came running at him with a knife, though from the front.

Meanwhile, Masaki was in Seiji's room, tied to the bed. His clothes had been torn off of his body, bruises marring his skin from where the servants handled him roughly. A washcloth had been shoved into his mouth to kee. Seiji sat at the side, smoking a cigarette casually as the servants began to do the dirty work outside. Masaki turned his head over and glared at his head butler, obviously displeased with both the action and the kidnapping. He returned his glare with an amused expression

"Not so tough now, are you? You can't call out to that little shit to help you now, can you?" Seiji spat, barely missing the prince's face. "I no longer take orders from you, so I can do whatever I damn well please. Anyway, my servants should be done with that brat any minute now so I can finally reclaim what is mine."

Masaki turned away, pouting until Seiji pressed the burnt end of his cigarette on Masaki's body, marring his pristine skin with a burn. Masaki yelped as loudly as he could through the gag.

"Behave, bitch. Otherwise, it will get worse." Seiji said. Masaki whimpered, hoping Hiroki would be here soon.

"Oh my... You all must be mad to have turned against your master. This is why I love alone. I have no mercy for traitors." he growled as he snapped the wrist of the servant who ran at him with a knife. He knew this would take too long. However he didn't wish to destroy Masaki's home. Even so he couldn't completely not do so either. He started his way to find his precious prince. Hiroki wasted no time crushing the bones of those who got in his way. He would explain and apologize to Masaki later. Right now rescuing him was top priority.

Hiroki listened to the walls trying to find him. It sure as hell was hard. Since it was dark and he had only been there once; he hadn't the time to memorize everything. So he was getting a bit lost. Even so Hiroki was determined to find him

The servants didn't look that mad, though. They seemed completely normal, though they had bitemarks on their necks, white irises and pupils, and blackened sclerae. The two who closed the door behind him joined forces for a tag team strike against Hiroki, the larger one throwing the smaller one at the intruder.

Masaki cringed as he heard the sounds of bones breaking outside. Seiji grunted and kicked Masaki in the side that was burned, causing him to cry out in pain and reducing him to tears within seconds.

"Those asses better not be fucking things up out there..." Masaki heard Seiji mumble to himself as he took another long drag of his cigarette.

Hiroki grit his teeth as he was finding this annoying. He needed to find Masaki soon and the longer this took it worried him. He tilted his head as he decided to resort to the extreme. He had honestly wanted to avoid destruction to the palace. Though that was no longer an option he wished to use. Hiroki sighs as he punched the closest wall to him. It split the palace in half. He knew this might upset his love but it had to be done. The floors crumbling and the foundation falling to pieces. "MASAKI!!! Where are you?" he shouts

The palace's rumbling made Seiji jump. He didn't expect Hiroki to go this far to save Masaki. Growling, he undid Masaki's bonds to the bed and tied his arms together so he couldn't fight back. He took his rope and led him out like a slave, still naked. He ran down the hall and across to Masaki's room since Hiroki was still on the first floor and would see him if he tried to exit out to the garden. Unfortunately, Masaki's room wasn't a particularly safe route, and he needed to go out into the grand staircase, where Hiroki could easily see, but not reach him in order to make his escape. Once Masaki saw his love standing by a destroyed wall, he called out to him as best as he could with the gag in his mouth before Seiji took him too far away.

Hiroki growled as he looked around. The servants that were nearby weren't an obstacle anymore. He looked about for Masaki. Suddenly something could be heard. It was faint but his ears picked it up. He turned to see Seiji making a dash for it. He also noticed his beloved in the male's arms. "SEIJI!!" he shouts before making his way after them. He wasn't about to let him get away with this.

"Fucking brat..." Seiji mumbled to himself as he ran into Masaki's room, closing but not locking the door behind him. It was already pretty unstable, and even if it was the most structurally sound part of the building now. Masaki's eyes scanned the room for the ring he picked out in the town all those months ago and saw the black velvet box he bought it in on his nightstand. He was taken out of his temporary reverie when Seiji threw him onto the bed face down and spread his legs. Seiji then undid Masaki's gag, causing the other to gasp for breath as he could now speak again. Tears ran down his face, wetting the sheets beneath him as he could feel Seiji getting closer.

"Seiji, stop!" Masaki sobbed. "D-Don't do this!"

"Who's going to stop me?" Seiji said, slowly licking his fingers and enjoying what he thought was his ultimate victory.

"Hiroki will! He'll break down the door and kill you!" Masaki shouted.

"We'll see what he says when he hears you moaning like a slut underneath me~ Now let's get started, shall we?" Seiji said, getting ready to finally claim his prize. He shoved one of his fingers inside Masaki, causing the prince to scream in pain.

Hiroki made his way towards where Seiji had took off. He realized where he had ran to. Once making it there he could hear Masaki's screaming. That set him off even more. Kicking the door down; Hiroki entered the room. "Get your filthy hands off of him!" he growled as he moved over and kicked Seiji off of Masaki

Seiji was thrown off of Masaki, who scrambled away from the two of them. He looked around for the ring and saw that Seiji had knocked it onto the floor. He picked it up, tightly holding the box it was in before sneaking away to his wardrobe to scrounge whatever clothing he could. After putting on a pair of blue short shorts and a loose white tank top, he began to pack his clothes away. He stuffed it into whatever suitcases he found, filling up about 3 suitcases. 1.5 for casual wear, and 1.5 for formalwear. Then, he packed away the next most expensive things in the room: the game systems and as many games as he could fit. The overall haul ended up being around 5 suitcases, 3 for clothes and gaming consoles, two for games and whatever else Masaki could fit. The systems themselves were tucked away with the clothes serving as extra cushioning in case he needed to throw the suitcases out the window, which seemed very likely after a rumble and loud crash sounded from outside. Masaki ran to the door to try to open it, finding it blocked by something that looked like a pillar that had fallen. The window was the only option now. Sighing, he moved all of the suitcases to the balcony, where he saw where Hiroki had punched the building. It was a surprisingly clean break, but because he interrupted the structural soundness of the palace, it was crumbling away slowly. He closed the french doors of the balcony and watched from outside as Seiji and Hiroki began to fight.

As Seiji regained his bearings, muttering curses under his breath, he lunged at Hiroki, intending to smash him into Masaki's vanity, break it, and use the mirror shards to cut into his back.

Hiroki's attention was slightly averted as he watched Masaki gather his things. Once he was sure the other was safely out of the way, he turned his attention towards Seiji. Though he looked too slow as the other had slammed him into the vanity. He honestly didn't want to use his full strength. It was something seriously dangerous and he feared he'd lose control. The thought of hurting Masaki is what kept him from doing this

Seiji then repeatedly slammed Hiroki's back against the mirror of the vanity while he was paying attention to Masaki, trying as hard as he could to break the mirror. No matter how many times he tried, the mirror did not seem to break, or even crack. Nevertheless, Seiji continued his assault, ruthlessly slamming Hiroki into the mirror.

"Die, you brat! You stole Masaki from me! You stole the only thing I had in my life!" he shouted. "WHY WON'T YOU FUCKING DIE?!"

Masaki had already thrown the suitcases off of the side, all of which made safe landings in the garden's flower beds. The whole palace shook as another section of it collapsed and made what was standing less stable. Masaki's glance darted from the garden to his lover. He wasn't sure what he wanted to do at all. He wanted to jump, but then, Hiroki would surely die. If he stayed and tried to help, they would all die. Either way, one of them was going to die under the rubble of the palace, and Masaki didn't see any ways out of it. Suddenly, something from above fell and landed on his head. He picked it up. It was a wooden wind chime he and Seiji made when Masaki was a child. It was the insignia of Sagittarius, Masaki's zodiac sign, with his name engraved in it. A stained glass heart that was above it had shattered into pieces upon impact with the floor. After thinking about what he could do for Hiroki for a little, he took a large shard and began to shave wood off of the wooden piece, slowly but surely sharpening it. He didn't care how much it cut into his skin to hold the glass. If he was to die, then he would want to die with his eternal love.

Hiroki chuckled a bit as he grabbed Seiji by the throat. This was to get him to stop with the movements. "I won't die knowing you are still alive. Besides, he chose me over you so get that through your head before you wind up losing more than just Masaki." he said tightening his grip. He really was holding back too much. He for one already caused damage which would take time to repair. His gaze drifts towards where he knew Masaki was. He wonders if he was still safe.

Seiji struggled against Hiroki's grip, swinging wildly at him without even thinking. In the background, Masaki finished sharpening the wooden arrow and opened the French doors of the balcony. Looking to Seiji and then to the garden one last time, he ran up behind him, wrapping his arm around him to stab him in the heart with the wooden spike. Seiji gasped, looking down as the stake in his heart became visible. He coughed up a lot of blood and started to shrivel in Hiroki's death grip, slowly turning to dust and disappearing from existence. Once it was all over, Masaki started to cry.

I'm sorry... he thought.

Hiroki continued to hold Seiji before suddenly loosening his grip. He noticed the stake and blood. At first he didn't realize it was Masaki until the male faded to dust. Hiroki quickly picked up the other into his arms. He held him close noticing he was crying. "Will you be alright?" he asked him as he knew this was probably very hard for him to have done. Hiroki stood up still holding the other and walked to the balcony. "I'm sorry about your home. I didn't mean to cause so much damage."

"I-It's okay... I n-needed to let go of the past anyway..." Masaki said, gently kissing his love on the cheek as he carried him to the balcony and his sobs subsided. Though part of him was glad that Seiji was gone for good, another part was still sad, rueful even. He wished that things could have gone better between Hiroki and Seiji, but it was obvious that his past with his former head butler angered Hiroki too much to allow him to have both of them. In the end, he felt happier with Hiroki. The other had helped him shed his superficial, princely exterior much quicker than Seiji ever did. In fact, all Seiji did was worsen it to the point of where he was at the beginning of the relationship. From being with someone not like him, Masaki came to learn more about himself and become a better person that way, and in choosing Hiroki, he had to let his beginnings go. It began with physically distancing himself from Seiji. The eventual destruction of the palace as well as the man it reminded him of was the inevitable next step that he tried to delay, and even stop, by trying to make them friends. In the end, Masaki came to the conclusion that what had been done was correct, and all that was left to do was move on and end the royal line.

Hiroki looked at the other. He wasn't sure if Masaki was only saying this to by time. He knew the other shared a special feeling for Seiji. He wouldn't blame Masaki if he felt some hate towards him. He did try to just ignore Seiji for Masaki's sake but that clearly wasn't enough. He got the other outside of the collapsing mansion. "I truly am sorry about your palace. I didn't mean to put you out of the place you call home." he said lowering his head. Hiroki walked towards a tree nearby and leans against it. "I need to rest a little bit. Is that alright?"

"We both need to rest. We've had a long day." Masaki said. "But where are we going to go now that the palace is demolished?"

Truly, Masaki did hurt a little inside since he lost a lot that was important to him. Even if the royal family had been unkind to him, they still played an important part in his life. However, it did make giving his heart to Hiroki that much easier, since he had nothing to live for other than the love of his life and what little of his past he could scrounge together before evacuating. In truth, Seiji had been a good potential boyfriend back when they were younger. But if he couldn't accept that he found love elsewhere, he had to leave his life someway.

Hiroki looked at him. "Is my place not to your liking? I have many different homes. You can pick any one of them and we can live there. I traveled a lot in my spare time before settling here again. I tend to like being close to my past despite how terrible it was. Its also where my other half is so I guess it makes sense. Anyway, for you I will go anywhere. You name it and I will take you there." he said softly

"I... I want to go where you want to go. I'll follow you to the ends of world. After all, the reason I came back to the palace in the first place was to retrieve this." Masaki looked through his pockets and found the ring he picked up long ago. It still glowed as brightly as it had when he bought it. He looked into Hiroki's eyes, slowly lowering to one knee.

"I wish I could've done this properly beforehand, but will you marry me?" he asked.

Hiroki smiled as he looked at the other. He didn't mind taking the other anywhere though suddenly he said something completely shocking. He noticed the ring was one he remembers looking at once before. His gaze lowers as he took hold of Masaki's hands. "You make my world so thrilling. There's no way I could possibly say no. Of course I will marry you." he said happily. Hiroki leans close and kisses his lips sweetly.

Masaki's eyes filled with joyful tears as Hiroki agreed to the marriage. He kissed his lover back, closing the box to keep the ring safe. He was in total bliss, feeling his lover's warmth radiating from his lips and drawing him in closer. He didn't want to let go, not even to give him the ring. He didn't want time to keep on moving, even though he knew it would. However, once the need for air became too great, he pulled away, giving the ring to Hiroki.

"Now let's leave this place. We have a new chapter to begin." Masaki said.

Hiroki held Masaki close to him as he felt the other was clearly overjoyed. He was happy though his expression showed plain content. He wasn't use to showing his joy on the outside so easily yet. Even so as the other said it was time to go, he slowly stood up. He glanced at the ring now upon his finger. "You sure know how to spoil a guy. So where shall we head out to? The world is out there awaiting us. You name it and I will take you there." he said with a gentle smile.

"Take me to your home. Planning the wedding can wait." Masaki said, holding his lover's hand gently in his own. Hiroki's hands were considerably bigger than his, yet the ring fit perfectly. How he could've estimated his ring size was beyond him, but he was happy it worked out. He never thought this day would come to be. The person that once hated him so much was now his husband (though not officially yet since the marriage certificates had yet to be signed). He then slightly raised Hiroki's hand and kissed it softly.

Hiroki nods as he begins to walk home with Masaki. He glanced back a little still feeling bad about destroying the palace. His gaze drifting to the male beside him. He was kind of glad the other asked him to marry him. It was something on his mind as well but he never planned to bring it up. He had grown so use to being alone but Masaki opened the door to something new. Actually having someone at his side almost felt too natural.

Masaki held tightly onto Hiroki's hand as they began to walk, dragging his things behind him. He couldn't believe anything that had happened. He had become infatuated with a stranger, somehow got into a relationship with him, and was now marrying him. He couldn't have asked for things to go better. Now he actually had his own future that the royalty of the past couldn't limit. It was so liberating. He leaned into Hiroki, a small tear of joy trickling down his face.

"Did you ever expect things to go like this?" Masaki asked.
