Characters:[/hr]

anime_boy_by_reno_yuu-d549i9o.jpg

Name: Jay Williams

Age: 27

Race: Human

Information:

Jay is a very laid-back, lazy guy. Somehow he managed to finish high school, but never went to college since, well, he was lazy. Since he's only finished high school, right now he's playing in a band and his job is at a local comics store - he always was a fan of Star Wars, Dragon Ball and so on. His parents are divorced - his mom is working at the same city Jay is, while his father is away, in America, and he hasn't heard a word from him since he graduated from high school.

Actually, Jay is quite smart, but is usually too lazy to use his abilities. Other than that, he is always willing to help out someone in need - wether it was a human, an animal... Or something entirely different.

~ || Race: Demon ||~

|| Information: ||

With his seemingly friendly appearance this little demon can fool anyone. This is a boy that was born to be a perfect liar.

To confuse and to betray, that was his purpose from the beginning. A piece that could fit in every hole in the puzzle that the higher ups laid.

Even though he was created for bad purposes even he has his moments of light. Masato has something that other demons seems to miss, a heart. He cares for those who stands him closest but can at the same time easily push them away if something else more important comes into his way.

He has problems for trusting others and something else than a small fake smile is rarely seen on his face. He doesn't really share anything with someone else and even though he has kindness in his heart he can also be very cruel and cold.

Jay hummed to himself as he walked through the street with his earphones on. It didn't look like he cared what people thought about him - if he did,the red head probably would've dresed something else than loose, baggy dark green pants and a bright red, sleeveless shirt. He actually enjoyed the attention he was getting... As long as it didn't require something for him to do.

His golden eyes glanced around as he scratched his head and yawned to himself. He would love to go for some coffee right now... Yet, it was getting dark and it wasn't exactly safe in the streets. He didn't want to get stabbed... The tall man quickened the pace of his steps, now just wanting to get home sooner. The music was playing loudly and it helped him relax... Yet on the same time it made him more vulnerable. If someone was to attack, he wouldn't hear it... But he loved music too much to turn it off.

His legs felt weak and powerless. Yet, somehow he managed to push himself another step forward. And one more. The corridor before him, it seemed like it would never end. His strained, panting breaths echoed between the two white walls that rose along his right and left side. And the only light sources that lit up his path was the torches that hanged on the walls. The blue flames danced in the darkness but his own different coloured eyes did only perceived them as small spots that quickly disappeard.

A painful gasp slipped through his slightly parted lips as the deep wound on the side of his stomach reminded him of it's existence. He stopped instantaneously only to take a deep breath and press his hand on the wound before he continued.

He didn't have time to rest. Because it was only a matter of time until they would reach him. And that, was a situation he had to avoid. If they caught him, then he would die.

After what seemed to be an eternity two gigantic doors appeared in front of him. Like it would've been a gift from god (which was impossible) they just suddenly was there. Heavily gasping for air he let his fingertips wander over the red and golden coloured surface. It was the first time he saw these doors. They were beautiful, decorated with patterns of wings and horns. But before he could've study them even more he heard a distant voice behind him. And instantly he began to open the doors. They were heavy. Extremely heavy and his body that was already exhausted just made it even harder. For one second it seemed impossible and the footsteps just kept getting closer and closer. Then, with a shrill sound they cracked open.

"Don't let him escape!" A manly voice screamed at the guards that ran behind him.

But it was too late because he had already opened the door, and took now the final step over the threshold.

He fell. The wind merciless whipped his body as he fell straight down with his head first. His eyes weren't closed, but still he couldn't see anything but small fragments of blue. He fumbled with his hands after something. Something to grab. And then he realised it. He was falling down from the sky. With a minor effort he managed to get some small glimpse of something that looked like ground several hundred feet below him. And as anyone else he immediately understood that he had to do something if he didn't want to die. He began fluttering with his black wings and at first nothing really changed. He just kept falling. Then it got slower, and slower.

He fell straight down in an alley where thin white ropes leaped from side to side. He stretched out his hand, took hold of one of the ropes and then continued doing this all the way down where he finally let go. With a dull thud his body hit the ground but it didn't take so long until he stood on this legs again and began stumbling out of the alley. Both wings and horns were now long gone and he looked like a completely normal human being. That had gotten into a fight and lost.

He dragged himself all the way out from the shadows only to trip on the pavement edge. But this time he didn't have any strength left to lift himself up from the ground. He just laid there and just a short while afterwards he saw something, something that was moving. And then everything became black.

Jay's steps faltered and he looked around as a shiver ran through his body. He felt like something bad was about to happen. The man slowly took off his earphones and stopped for a while before he heard a quiet 'thud', as if something had fallen down. The red head bit his lip and decided to continue walking... Before he saw someone in front of him. For a few moments he could've sworn his heart stopped. What if this guy was someone bad?

Yet, all thoughts disappeared when the other fell down. Jay's golden eyes widened and he ran over to the body. "Hey, hey, can you hear me?" He asked worriedly as he reached out to check the pulse of the male in front of him. A relieved sigh left his mouth when he felt it, yet his eyes travelled down and he spotted a huge wound on his side. "Shit..." Jay cursed to himself and bit his lip before gently, slowly picking the other up into his hands.

The golden-eyed male had no time to waste. He nearly ran back home and hurriedly walked over to the living room, laying the other on the comfortable sofa before walking off to find some bandages. He'd have to call the hospital later...

All he could se was a compact darkness. Every little muscle in his body was aching like terrible. His heart was drumming hard against his ribs and the heartbeats echoed in the dark. Then suddenly, a strong overwhelming light broke through and blinded him. Automatically, he turned his head away from the light at the same time as he lifted his arm to protect his eyes. But it didn't help and soon the white light surrounded him, forced him to close his eyes. And when he once again opened them he found himself laying on something soft and cozy. He drew a long, deep breath and blinked some couple of times as he swept with his gaze around in the room.

Apparently he was in someone else's home. That was the only logical explanation he could come up with. The room was totally drenched in the familiar stench from a human.

With a pained groan Masato lifted himself up in a sitting position as he let his slender fingers run through his light honey blonde coloured hair. Only the thought that he had been saved by a human made him shiver in disgust. But at the same time he could feel a slight relief that he wasn't in that alley at this time. Because every human wasn't as dumb (or nice) as this one had been.

He placed his hand on the wound as he tried to get up on his legs only to fall down on his knees on the floor. It was obvious that it wasn't just a simple scratch, but since he wasn't human the wound should've already had began to heal. Which it hadn't.

Jay bit his lip as he hurriedly looked over his drawers, trying to find some bandages... Which he was sure he had.. Somewhere... The red head groaned softly as he opened a cabinet and a huge grin appeared on his face. Finally! There they were... The tall male grabbed out the roll of bandages and turned around, glancing over his shoulder when he heard something... Or more like someone falling down.

With another curse escaping his lips, Jay ran back to the living room only to find the guy he'd saved on his knees. "Hey, you shouldn't be walking! Just... Lay down and stay still. I'll take care of the wound as much as I can..." The golden-eyed man muttered out as he gently picked up the other and laid him back on the bed, not even bothering to question if that was alright with the other. He glanced up at the other and for a few seconds he was mesmerized by the beauty of his eyes. The red head found himself completely lost in the beautiful colors as he watched how light played in them. Truly wonderful...

For sure it was painful. That was something he couldn't deny but at the same time he knew that he didn't have any time to bother on such a trivial thing as the wound. They were gonna come after him.

As he fighted to suppress the pain, an unfamiliar voice broke the silence and soon after that a couple of strong arms embraced his body. Not giving him a second to protest. With a clearly sullenly face he found himself once again laying on the soft and cozy surface. He was being ordered around. By a human. It was outright unbelievable. A demon was being taken cared of by a human. He had never heard anything like this. And he truly not thought that it would occur someone like him. At the same time as it was humiliating he found it actually pretty interesting. This was not the first time he saw a human. But it had actually been awhile since last time he saw one of these creatures. With his ocean blue and bright emerald coloured eyes he closely observed the male in front of him. He had red hair that reminded you of a burning fire and orange eyes that had a kindly glimpse in them.

His light pink lips curved into a small smile as he realised that the man was staring at him. Or rather at his eyes it seemed.

"Weren't you going to take care of my wound?".

His soft voice bore a tantalizingly tone when he spoke but his eyes didn't show any emotions at all.

Jay blinked a few times and let out a nervous chuckle while shaking his head, as if to get rid of some thoughts. "Sorry..." He muttered out as he slowly lifted the other's shirt up, his golden eyes showing a bit of confusion. How was the other even alive and talking with this wound...? Gently, he reached out and pressed up a damp cloth against the smaller's wound, now just wiping off the blood so the wound would at least have less chances of getting infected... The red head tried to be as careful as he could, not wanting to make the other feel any pain at all. Still, he couldn't help but notice how pale the other's skin was... It wasn't sickly, no. It was just delicate.

Jay sighed softly as he withdrew the hand with the cloth and looked at the wound which now had a pretty clear view. "Tell me if it's too tight..." The red head muttered out before slowly beginning to wrap the bandages. Basically, he had an idea of how it was supposed to be... But he'd only done it on some classes. Still, he did pretty well. The golden-eyed male kept on glancing up at the seemingly younger's face to make sure there were no signs of him feeling pain.

The human male seemed to get himself together right after he had spoken and with a quiet excuse he broke the contact between their eyes to carefully with this fingers lift on his white shirt. Stained by blood. With a certain vigilant glimmer in his eyes the demon turned his head to lead his gaze out of the window beside him.

Those beautiful small shining spots on the heaven shone as always down on the human world together with the majestic moon. He had always loved them but he had never learned what their name was. They didn't teach them anything but the necessary in school about this world. But if he had been sent here on missions a little more often under these 113 he had lived then maybe he would've known what they were called. He was a hundred percent sure that they had a beautiful name.

He didn't say anything even though the other one told him to if it hurt. Not a single word left his lips that were resolutely locked into each other. He totally ignored the will to flinch when the human wrapped the thing in his hand over the wound. And when it was finally done he let his fingertips wander over the thing that now covered a pretty large area of his body. To his luck it seemed like it wasn't something that would just fall off when he would start moving again. The things that the humans used wasn't that bad as he imagined they would be. But it would probably take a long while for them to evolve them so that they could be compared with the stuff that he had at home. At home that wasn't even his home anymore.

"You don't have to worry, it doesn't hurt".

A lie. He looked at the human for a couple of seconds before he sat up and threw a last hasty blick on the shining spots on the sky. They were still there. It wasn't like that they would disappear or something like that but he still got this feeling that if he turned his back on them they wouldn't be there next time he looked. It was certainly strange but not anything he had bothered about before. Then, he suddenly said it.

"What are those called again?".

And like a kid he pointed out through the window at the blinking spots.

Jay frowned slightly. "If it doesn't hurt, it's even worse. You may have gotten numb from the pain... Look, I gotta get you to a hospital." Even though it would be tiring as hell, the red head thought that it was the best thing to do. When he heard the question, the golden-eyed male was confused, at the least. He pushed up his glasses and looked at the direction the other was pointing at. "...You mean stars?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. "Did you hit your head?..." Jay asked quietly while turning back to the one he'd saved.

Jay tilted his head to the side. He couldn't stop wondering just how the other managed to get such a wound... "Hey, what happened, actually? Did you get stabbed and mugged or something like that?" The red head asked with curiosity. He sighed softly and put his elbow on the edge of the sofa, resting his head on his hand. His golden eyes scanned the demon with pure curiosity. "I won't judge or anything, y'know... You can tell me~" Jay said with his usual grin on his face.

The demon didn't really listen to what the human said first but when he suddenly mentioned the word: hospital something in his mind just went 'click'. It sounded familiar, but he couldn't really place where he had heard it before. Then he realised it. Hospital in this world was the same as what they called Death House in their. Oh well, it's name wasn't really Death House but it was the nickname for it that everyone used. His face drastically changed and the vague smile on his lips quickly died out.

"No hospitals".

As simply was that. Cold and determined. And after that he turned his head once again in the direction of the window. He couldn't stop looking at them and when he did it his expression softened just a little bit. With half of his attention on the blinking spots and the other half concentrating on the human he finally got to know what they were called.

"Stars.." He quietly repeated after the man.

As he thought, the name really was beautiful.

While saying the word over and over again in his head he instantaneously glanced at the human. And at the smirk on his lips. The demon snorted and his corner of the mouth moved minimally.

"You want to know the truth? Let me tell you something, that's" He leaned forward, so much that only a few centimeters remained before he would touch him "a secret".

He grinned, very mysteriously and then returned to laying down and curled up into a small ball with his back against the human.

"I'll stay here over the night but I'll be gone in the morning".

Jay narrowed his eyes and clacked his tongue in slight annoyance. “I didn't ask if you wanted to go to a hospital or not. That wound is deep, it has to be treated! And not by me - by professionals. If it gets infected, it would be my fault!!“ The red head said with a small frown on his face. Who cared that he'd only met the guy?!? From what he's seen so far, he probably hit his head as well...

Jay sighed and fixed his glasses back up just before the demon brought himself closer. After hearing that it was a secret, the tall male grinned and chuckled. “Alright, a secret is a secret. I understand that... But you'll have to tell the people in the hospital anyway... In which you're going.“ The red head said a bit harsher than he'd meant to. Jay sighed and shook his head as he watched the other curling into the ball while turning his back to the taller. “You can't sleep yet. Hospital first.“ Jay said and reached out to the demon, reasy to pick him back up again.

Was humans always like this? So..annoying? Were they always this persistant or was it just this male? If it was just him, then this was definitely a case of bad luck. Couldn't he just give up? He said he doesn't want to but obviously the human didn't listen.

For a couple of short seconds he opened his eyes only to bestow the human a very irritated glance.

"No" he rebelliously continued.

His neat, slender hands embraced a little bit of the white soft fabric that was under his body and moved a few inches away from the other. Then he closed his eyes once again and drew a deep sigh as he hoped that the male would give up this idea of taking him to a hospital. Which he didn't. Because just a little moment later a hand stretched out after him and he reacted a little to fast. His hand grabbed the man's wrist and now he stared steadily into his eyes.

The demon's pupils had narrowed down and suddenly his eyes seemed to gleam.

"No hospital".

His lips moved very slow, as if the man wouldn't understand otherwise. The blonde demon then released the human and his pupils widened, went back to their normal state.

"Man, are all humans like this?" He mumbled as he scratched his neck.

He looked up at the man from his sitting position.

"Why do you even care so much about me? I'm just a stranger to you but even so you're so stubborn. I don't get it. I'm not even someone that you should be involved in".

Masato sighed and took himself out of what he supposed to be a bed. Unperturbed by the wound he stood up on his own two legs.

"I'm leaving".

And then he started walking towards the door.

Jay clenched his teeth and sighed. This guy was annoying... When he tried to take the other back into his arms, he was more than surprised with the reaction he got. How come he was so fast!? His golden eyes widened as he stared off into the pair of... Unhuman-looking ones in front of him. The pupils weren't round anymore... What the hell?..

Once he was released, the red head nearly fell onto his butt on the floor with his eyes wide. The tall male didn't even hear the demon's mumbling and blinked a few times as he heard half of the demon's following words. "...Ha?... I shouldn't be involved...? In what?..." Jay asked as he stared at the one on the sofa.

When he saw the demon walking away, Jay gritted his teeth and ran in front of the other, blocking the door. "You're not leaving." He said nearly coldly as he crossed his arms. "...Are you even human?" The red head asked, being completely serious. He had no trouble believing in such things as aliens (Which were completely real!), so he would probably believe in anything the guy in front of him was.

"Why shouldn't I be involved with you? How are you even alive and walking with that wound? And what the hell was happening with your eyes?!?"

He hitched his jaws together, hard. Then he let his gaze rest over the male in front of him with a contemptuous glimpse in the different coloured eyes. This was getting ridiculous. With a irritated sigh he tilted his head to the left. Ah, great. So now he didn't even have the freedom to choose when to leave?

When the male thereafter asked him if he even were human he couldn't surpress the derisive chuckle that had rested on his tongue, just waiting to come out. And when it finally was out he raised one of his eyebrows in a vague bow.

"Human?".

When the demon himself uttered the world it sounded so empty and so distant. But yet so filled with something that was recognizable as hate. For just a short second that hate turned into pain and then sadness. A sadness that made him look vurnerable for a moment before his face and eyes turned cold again.

"I have no obligation to tell you" he smirked and made a pause before he continued.

"But I'm going to give you one advice, step aside".

Jay nearly finched when he heard the other muttering 'human' with something that was close to... Disgust? Yeah, something like that. His own golden eyed were as wide as they possibly could be, yet the red head kept his arms crossed. "I basically saved your life! You can't even tell me who you actually are?" The tall man asked and scowled.

"I'm not going anywhere until you tell me. And I will do anything I can to stop you from leaving." Jay said almost coldly as he stared into the demon's eyes. "You're not human. That's for sure... Then who are you?" Jay asked while keeping a completely serious expression.

A glance of anger glimmered in his ocean blue and bright emerald coloured eyes. Saved him? He wasn't even on the bring of death. Just at that time he had been in a bad condition. It would've healed on it's own. After some time. Like all the other times. Why had this time to be so different from the others? Why couldn't he just go? The human had nothing to do with this. And himself didn't want to bring anyone in the war he himself has created. This was a war not suited for mortals.

"It's better if you don't know" He said with a very dissmisive voice.

The demon took one step to the left but it was useless. The other one was completely blocking his path. Why so curious? He thought when he stared back at the stranger. His right corner of the mouth minimally twitched as he straightened himself. Tried to make it up those few centimeters that differed in length between them.

"And what good will my identity do? What can you actually get out of that? My name? My age? Who I am? I'm nobody, there you have it. I'm nobody in this world".

He sounded a little angered. Off from his usual tone. Then he stepped back. Surprisingly enough, he actually took a step backwards. His eyes shone in the shine from the moon behind him. And a pair of black wings (like those of a bat) unfurled from his back. And then he stretched them out. His horns had appeared out of nowhere.

"I'm not human. Are you satisfied now?".

Then everything disappeared and he returned to his human form.

"I don't get why humans want to make things so complicated".

Jay narrowed his eyes and sighed. Why wouldn't the other tell him anything?... Well, the red head maybe knew the reason... But he wanted to hear it from the other anyway. The tall male pursed his lips as he kept his arms crossed, waiting for the other to do or say something. When the demon stepped back, Jay tilted his head, about to say something, but no words left his mouth when he saw who the blond became.

Somehow, Jay ended up on the floor, his eyes wide and his mouth opened slightly. Eyes, horns and... Wings? "Y-You... You're.... A-a... Demon...?" The red head asked, his words uncertain and slow. He couldn't remember the last time he'd beeen this surprised.

The man fixed his glasses nervously and closed his eyes for a few moments while taking in deep breaths to calm himself down. "...What are you doing here?... I-In this world? Are there others?" The red head questioned as he slowly stood up, not turning his gaze away from the other even for a second.

He saved a demon. A demon. Why was it him? Why here? What in the world was he supposed to do now?!?

The other one sank down on the floor with both his eyes widened to the maximum. He believed it all pretty easily. Maybe a little to eager was the male to believe it all according to himself.

The demon's eyes didn't reveal anything. What a stupid decision he had made. Showing his true self to a human? In normal case he wouldn't even had a thought about doing something like that. But, there it was a normal thing to have horns and wings. Because there was everybody like him.

He avoided taking eye contact and instead he stared at the wall on his left side. Slowly the human seemed to regain strenght to stand up and immediately started to ask questions.

"I'm doing your race a favor".

He turned his head and looked straight into the male's eyes. Then he took one step closer and reached out his hand to the man's face. He placed his fingertips on the forehead and there he let them rest.

"I could erase your memories of this if you want to".

He didn't know why he suddenly had said that.

Jay's eyes widened even more, if that was possible. "A favor? Why would you of everyone be doing us a favor?" He asked as he watched the demon reaching out his hand with uncertain eyes.

When the tall male heard Masato's offer, he could feel... Something close to anger bubbling up inside of him. He grabbed the other's hand and pushed it away with a small frown on his face. "No way. Never." He said quietly and sighed before releasing the small hand from his grip. The man rubbed his forehead and closed his eyes for a few moments.

"...So you're a demon. I saved a demon. There's a demon in my house. What do I do now?" Surprisingly, the red head managed to calm himself down enough to think clearly. "I don't want to forget, so... Any way I can help you?"

It felt like someone was penetrating his heart with a small, thin needle. But the demon pushed it aside as he listened to the human. And the question that the male asked was actually a pretty good one. Why was he doing this? Why would he out of all people help the humans? He didn't give the other one an answer, no he let the question hang in the air to slowly be forgotten. There was no need for the human to know the reason why.

The blonde one, flinched minimally when the stranger grabbed his hand and with wide open eyes filled with confusion he stared straight in front of him. What? Did the human reject the offer? So this was how his kindness ended up. And he that had been nice enough to actually give the other one this choice.

He straightened himself, and then quickly ordered his hand to return when it was released.

"Don't come with regrets later".

Masato looked down at his hand. It was like it had been in contact with fire. Atleast it felt like it had been licked by flames. But there wasn't any signs of it. Strange. Very strange.

When the human asked if he could he help him with anything he couldn't avoid to smile and thereafter laugh. It was a soft but even so a very patronizing laughter.

"How funny" he began and looked up at the male.

"A human that wants to help a demon. Of course that has like everything else it's reasons. But still, you who are mortal should be a little more careful with saying things like that. Especially if it's to a stranger like myself".

He moved himself closer. And didn't stop until he was so close that he could feel the stranger's warm breaths caress his skin.

"If I asked you to take your own life for humanity's sake. Would you do it?".

Jay's frown deepened when his question was left unanswered. He huffed softly and bit his lip slightly, thinking if he had to make the demon answer him... Oh, was he an idiot? How in the world would a human make a demon do something by force? It was impossible!

The red head snickered at the words he heard. "I probably wouldn't find you even if I wanted to come." He said quietly and closed his golden eyes for the time being. There was an actual demon in his house... He never even thought anything like this would ever happen... Well, he'd been fantasizing about it, but never thought it would become reality.

When the tall male heard Masato's laugh, his eyes shot open and he raised an eyebrow, staring at the other. Just as he was going to ask what was the demon laughing about, he had to shut his mouth as the other began talking again. "I don't care that you're a stranger. It's my whole race you're talking about... I think I would like to help." The man said with a small frown while watching the other getting closer.

He was starting to get a little bit scared. The fear only increased when he heard Masato's question... Jay swallowed a lump in his throat before letting out a shaky breath. "...Probably... Not. I don't feel like dying yet... Unless it was the only way to save my whole race, I wouldn't do it." He answered and narrowed his eyes slightly, trying to push the fear out of his mind. "Any other way I can help? I mean, one that wouldn't make me kill someone..."

His breaths were shaky, almost quivering. The demon could clearly feel the familiar smell of fear that came from the human. And his own body reacted to this by tensing every nerve that leapt under his skin. He could feel how the adrenaline began to pulsate one pace faster than normally. His fingers were trembling with excitement. It had been so many years since last time he had tasted a humans feelings of fright. It was sweet and sour at the same time.

He felt how his body was filled with power and how he regained control over the pain that came from the wound. The smile remained on his lips. And it was a very pleased smile.

"Oh?" He said and leaned a few more centimeters closer to the other male while he observed him with a amused gaze.

"You don't want to die?" The blonde boy let out a quiet chuckle "Then you should know better than asking a demon such a stupid question".

Even though his eyes were filled with hunger, there was a small soft glance in them when he placed his hands on the man's cheek. Slowly he let his fingertips follow the jawline and down the neck as he talked.

"Poor thing, I frightened you with my question. But still you want to help" He paused and then suddenly stepped back and crossed his arms over his chest.

"So stubborn. Well, if you really want to be of use then you'll be my guide in the human world. I'll follow you wherever you goes and you'll teach me things about this world. Does that sounds good? Oh, wait what a stupid question, you don't have a choice anymore. You wanted to help, now you gets to help. No going back on this one human".

It was his own fault. The human wanted this himself. And he even tried to stop him. Now it's no longer his responsibility if something would happen to him.

Even though he repeated this in his head he couldn't avoid feeling some kind of guilt for involving someone innocent in this mess he himself had created.

In an attempt to hide this he turned his back to the human. And then his body began to disintegrate into small black rose petals.

"I'll return when it's morning".

And then he disappeard.

Jay couldn't help but feel afraid... Scared for his life, to be exact. Was the demon serious about taking his life for the sake of humanity?.. The red head watched carefully as the smile stayed on Masato's face, and somehow.. His fear increased. The smile wasn't kind or gentle - it seemed a bit... Dark, at least for him. Or maybe he was just imagining things.

When the taller male noticed the hunger in the blond's eyes., he swallowed a hard lump in his throat while trying to make himself stop from running away. He didn't want an angry demon chasing after him... Jay flinched when he felt Masato's hand on his cheek.. Even though it felt nice. The hand was rather cold, so it felt good against his cheek... He found himself wanting to feel more of the touch.

After hearing what the demon decided to do with the red head, Jay nodded slightly, without saying a word. Quietly, he watched how Masato disappeared and slid back down on the floor with his eyes wide. "What the hell..." He muttered out to himself and shook his head before slowly standing up and walking over to his bedroom. He needed a good night sleep.. Maybe this was all a dream.

Jay mumbled something under his nose as he slowly woke up, refusing to open his eyes for now. He was only wearing a pair of boxers and his covers were who-knows-where, so a tremble ran through his body and the red head forced himself to open his eyes and get out of bed. His body was lean and nice, with a bit of muscles, since he never did let himself relax about his body too much. He was a band member, too... Fangirls didn't like guys with bad figures.

Slowly, the tall male made his way to the fridge and took out the things needed for sandwiches. He really didn't feel like doing anything else right now... He was way too sleepy.

The night passed and the stars disappeared as the sky began to change to a lighter colour. And the sun exposed itself for the first time this morning. It bathed the landscape in it's warm glow and slowly a new day arrived.

This was the third time he had witnessed something like this. Unlike in his own world this had different times of the day. Where he belonged there was only one. There wasn't anything like stars or a moon or a sun there. It was only a constant darkness and the light from the streetlamps were the only thing that could lit up your way. But there was some difference between an human and a demon. And one of them were that the demons had a more developed vision. Only one of the few benefits that they had on their mission to collect souls.

Demons didn't have to sleep. It was a thing that you did to make time go faster or when you needed more energy. But he hadn't time to do something like that. What would he do if they suddenly appeared in this area and he was asleep? Their sleeping was different. When demons finally were asleep, they were asleep. There was no way to wake up a demon when it was sleeping. Besides if someone actually woke up it would no longer be the same person that would come back. The one who would react was the monster inside.

A couple of hours passed and he found himself sitting in the kitchen that belonged to the human from yesterday. On an chair and waiting for him to get up.

The suddenly familiar sound of footsteps made him turn his head and with curious eyes observe the human who passed straight by him without noticing him. It could clearly be seen that the male was tired. And by the way, undressed.

The demon placed his chin in his hand and let some seconds of silence pass before he parted his lips and spoke.

"Up early are we?".

His lips formed a very vague smile as he waited for the human to react.
