Jay almost let go of all the products he held in his hands when he heard someone's voice. With a heavy sigh, the red head turned to face the demon, an obvious scowl on his face. "...Can I at least eat breakfast in peace?" He asked and rubbed his eyes while yawning widely. So, the demon wasn't a dream... Why wasn't he scared like yesterday? Right now all he felt was slight annoyance.

The golden-eyed male turned his back to Masato and started making himself the sandwiches, on the same time reaching out to boil the water for some tea. "Can I know your name?" He asked before covering another yawn and running a hand through his hair. Jay definitely wasn't a morning person... But today he had his band's parctice, so he had to get up earlier than he usually did. Mornings were awful... Especially if there was a demon waiting in the kitchen.

"You want anything to eat?" He asked again and turned back to the demon before taking a bite of his sandwich. It was rather... Big, you could say. It consisted of two pieces of bread, some salad, cheese, small pieces of chicken and tomatoes. It was enough to fill up Jay's stomach, at least for the morning. Later on he'd eat something else, of course... Eating was one of his favorite things to do, however dumb it sounded.

Even though the human tried to hide it he could clearly see the slight surprising look in his eyes when he noticed him. The demon also noted that the male had been close to let go of everything he had in his sleek hands when he had heard his voice. Obviously he hadn't expected to have a visitor in his home this early. But now he had one.

A soft chuckle left the seemingly younger one when the human spoke and then when he finally stopped the demon smiled at him.

"No".

He leaned backwards on the chair and then let his hands restlessy be placed on the table while his bright emerald green and ocean blue eyes followed the human's movements. They were lethargic and slow. Not very strange since the clock was only- he threw a hasty glance at the clock that was hanging on the wall- seven. On the morning. The demon guessed that the other one wasn't someone that used to getting up this early.

Almost fascinated by it, he observed how the human created his breakfast at the same time as he boiled some water.

Since demons didn't have any sense of hunger they didn't have to eat. But they could feel the different tastes and such. It was just that eating didn't serve any purpose for them so they didn't do it. But humans on the other hand needed to eat to survive.

He twisted a lid from his light honey coloured hair around his finger as he listened to the human. His name? Demons didn't really have names. It was only the higher ups that actually had names but that didn't stop the other ones from calling each other different nicknames. And he wasn't an except.

"You can call me Masato".

He let some seconds pass and when he himself was about to ask the same thing to the human when he suddenly asked a different question and an small frown was created.

"Eat?" He paused and the frown disappeard "Demons don't eat" he said as if it would have been the most obvious thing in the world.

In the circulation of one second he had shifted place and stood now beside the human, stared at the sandwhich and then jumped up on the kitchen counter.

"So what's the plans for today?".

When Jay heard the demon's name he tilted his head and let out a small smile. "I'm Jay." He said rather softly and bit into his sandwich, enjoying the taste for now. He absolutely loved the delicious flavor... From the day he'd learned to make sandwiches like this, he rarely made something different. After a few more bites, the red head leaned down and took out a huge mug for tea, grabbed a pack of black tea and poured some hot water on it. He didn't put in any sugar... He only drank tea like this in the mornings, when he had to be awake.

With a soft yawn, the golden-eyed male raised his eyebrows at the demon's following words. "Oh, excuse me for not knowing every single detail about demons." He said with slight irritation in his voice before taking a sip of his tea. Jay licked his lips and closed his eyes for a few moments, so he didn't even notice Masato walking up to him and jumping on the corner.

Once he did, however, the man let out a heavy sigh and rubbed his forehead at te question. "Band practice, then the gym, home and something to eat, then..." Jay's eyes suddenly widened and he cursed before putting the cup down and nearly running out of the kitchen. The reason was visible after a few moments. A big golden retriver ran into the kitchen and straight to Masato, sniffing his legs curiously. "Sorry, forgot to take out my dog yesterday." Jay said as he walked back to the kitchen with an apologetic smile.

Apparently the human actually had a list over things that he were going to do (and he had a name too). And it actually surprised him. Since he all the time had this impression of him not being the one to makes schemes over things. And if the truth was going to be told then the demon took this human as someone who took life as it went. But suddenly he stopped talking, drew a curse and then putted down the cup before he eventually almost ran out of the kitchen.

Somewhat confused the demon stared in the direction where the other one had disappeard. What was all that about? He quietly mumbled for himself as he dangled a little with his legs.

He wore the same clothes as yesterday. Black knee shorts and a white shirt. But the clothes weren't stained by blood. Somehow he had gotten rid of them.

Something furry appeared in the door opening, something furry that rushed straight toward to him. At first he couldn't see what it was and then his body suddenly got considerably stiff. He could feel it's wet nose wandering up and down his legs and without a warning the demon drew his legs closer his body while pressing himself against the wall and the cupboards above him.

"S..Stay away you filthy beast!" He screamed with a very shrill voice as he tried to avoid those black big round eyes that stared at him.

Begged him to come down and let him be eaten by that thing. And with thing he meaned the dog who was in front of him.

"God, are you out of your mind human? Keeping something like this inside your home?" He pointed at the dog while still trying to get as big distance from the creature as possible.

Dogs. Disgusting things without no will at all. Even though he himself hated them dogs always seemed to like him. It was a curse bestowed on him by the gods.

The boy narrowed his eyes when the dog licked his nose and around his jaw with his pink tongue. It almost looked like it was hungry. And he was that things breakfast.

"Keep your tongue in your mouth, please" He hissed at the dog who placed the front of his head on the border to the kitchen count that he currently sat on.

Something that made the demon to emit a very light sound. Shit! He thought as he placed his hand over his mouth while feeling a warmth spreading on his cheeks. Stupid dog. Making him show this side of himself.

"J..Jay take that thing somewhere else..!".

It was the first time he had used the other one's name. And even though it was the first time it felt surprisingly natural.

He covered his eyes with his hands and turned his face away from both the dog and the human. How embarrasing.

Jay was more than surprised by the shrill voice of the demon. Slowly he realized that the other... Was scared of dogs. The red head stayed still for a few moments before bursting out laughing, bending over in an attempt of being able to breath. His glasses slid down slightly and Jay took in a sharp breath when he was finally able to calm himself down.

His grin increased at the question and he shook his head. “He's very friendly~ Wouldn't hurt a fly... Okay, maybe he would, but nothing bigger than a cat. I promise.“ He said almost teasingly while walking closer to his dog and crouching down next to it, petting his head. “Come on boy, don't be upset...“ He muttered out softly just before the dog very cutely turned his head to his master and pressed it against the red head's chest as if hiding its face from Masato.

“Benny isn't a thing... Masato, he won't hurt you~“ Jay answered softly as he put one hand on the dog's silky fur and began stroking it, a smile on his face. “Come down here, would ya? You made him sad...“ The red head said quietly as he watched Benny laying down with its head between its paws. It was an adorable sight... And Benny itself was adorable if you, well, got to know him better.

The heat burned his cheeks into a light, rose red colour when the silence was broken by a soft laughter. The human was laughing at him! At him who was a demon. Ashamed by the whole thing he kept his face hidden in his hands as he awaited the end of this humiliating situation. Stupid bad luck. Of course the human had to own a dog. One of the few things he 'disliked'. The whole thing were so unbelievably ironic. And that the human seemed to enjoy it didn't really help.

"Yeah right, that's what everyone says" He pressed out between his slightly parted lips.

Apparently, the creature also had a name. Which meant that the dog and the other one were pretty close. But it didn't matter. He would never become friends with any dog. Not even this one even though the human reassured him that he wouldn't hurt him. He wasn't afraid of being hurt though. This based on something entirely..different than the fear of being hurt.

"I'm not interested in becoming friends with your Benny".

He suddenly sounded so cold. Maybe a little more than he had expected but he couldn't take back his words even if he wanted to. The dog let out a whimpering sound. It was like the creature had understood what he had said. But when he had already begun it was best to continue.

"I'm not here to make friends".

It pained him a little to say the sentence. And he didn't know why. Then, once again he disappeard without leaving a trace after him.

He appeard outside the building, right next to the entrance. The cold morning air cooled down his warm cheeks and after a short while he stopped hiding his face and let his hands slip down into his pockets instead. What he had said wasn't a lie. He wasn't here to make friends or anything like that. Actually, the best would be if he didn't make any bonds at all to anyone in this world.

It would only result in sadness afterwards.

Jay blinked a few times when he heard the other say that he wasn't here to make friends. Just when he was about to question the demon why was that, he saw Masato starting to disappear again. "Hey, wait!.." Yet, his words were left unheard. The red head sighed and looked down at Benny who seemed awfully sad. "Come on buddy, don't be like that... It'll just take time for him to get used to you~" Jay said with a chuckle and lightly patted his dog's head before turning back to finish hus breakfast.

The tall male glanced at his clock and let out a small curse before quickly running off to dress up, grab Benny's leash and get outside of the house. The man managed to make his usual hair into the way he usually wore them, so at least one thing was actually good this morning... His golden eyes glanced around the field once he was outside and the man shivered at the cold air that greeted him. Benny was sitting quietly next to his master's leg as he waitd until they both would leave. He was a very nice and obedient dog. Jay's had him since it was just a little puppy...

After a while, Jay spotted Masato... Who seemed to have been there the entire time... How did he manage to not notice him? Benny flattened his ears sadly against his head and whimpered again while the red head sighed and walked up to the demon. "You said you wanted me to show you around, right? Let's go then... My band first." He said softly as he held his dog by the leash. "Benny won't reach you right now, if you're still worried... Though you could at least try and make friends with him. He's friendly!"

It took a while before the human himself got out of his apartment. Followed by..Benny the dog. A deep sigh left the demon as he quietly started walking and soon he passed by both of them. After a few minutes the human seemed to realise that he actually walked in front of them because suddenly the other one quickened his pace and acceded to his side. And in the corner of his different coloured eyes he observed how the male parted his lips and spoke. His voice were so soft. And in some way, warm. Had it always been like that? The demon turned his head and looked away. Avoided those friendly eyes that the human possesed. He didn't give the other one an answer. And not before he mentioned the word: worried, the demon reacted.

"I'm not worried. It's just that I'm simply not here for making friends. Or any relationships at all. And that includes you" He said harshly while pointing at the human.

The reason why humans weren't sure about the demons existance were because they weren't supposed to show any signs of existing. It was a law that had been decided since a long time ago. Which also meant that they wouldn't in any kind of way interrupt a humans life. No kind of communication were allowed between a human and a demon so he had already went against a lot of rules. But the last one was most important. Demons are not allowed in any way to share a bond with a mortal. Those who actually had gone against these rules and taken contact with a human got executed. And the human died. And a dead human were a trace that could lead them to him. So he had to remind himself of the fact that he were only supposed to use this male to get to know the world better. Then he would erase his memories, wether the other one wanted it or not. It was the best for both of them.

He let his gaze sink to the ground and for a short moment he met the dog's dark round eyes. *Don't look at me with those eyes* he thought and embraced his lower lip with his front teeth.

"You know where it is, show me the way" he said and added a light hand gesture.

Jay mumbled something about the other being too irritated before nodding slightly. "Come on then." He said with a light smile on his face before turning around. The words about Masato not coming here to make any relationships at all stung him a little bit more than he would've liked to... Somehow, it seemed to matter quite a bit to the red head. Jay sighed softly and slowly walked through the streets, letting Benny sniff around wherever he wanted to... That was the way he was used to doing it anyway.

"Come on, we're near~" The red head said with slight softness in his voice as he turned around to glance at the demon. "I hope you won't get bored... Do you demons even listen to music?" He asked while tilting his head to one side. The tall male was wearing a pair of dark jeans and a Green Day shirt today. Of course, his earphones were around his neck as well... Even if he wouldn't use them today. It was just what he did everytime he left home...

With a smile on his face, the man walked over to a studio completely relaxed. "We're here~" He said and walked inside, holding the door opened for Masato with one hand, while with the other he still held Benny's leash. It was quite common for him to bring hus dog here... And no one really minded that, so it was all alright. He just hoped the othes wouldn't say anything against Masato being there... If he didn't get bored himself.

The smile that the other one kept on his lips. He couldn't understand the reason why he smiled. Was it because it was fun? Or was it just that polite smile that he himself often used? And as many other times he was forced to leave his questions and thoughts behind to continue.

The walk took it's time. Probably because the human walked so slowly and let the dog run wild on street lamps and other things that fell victim for the big round eyes. But instead of feeling impatient or annoyed he felt a strange calm inside his head. It felt like there was nothing to worry about and like he had all the time in the world. He found himself vaguely smiling at the feeling when Jay suddenly turned around and asked something. And as if he had been ripped out of a dream he first just stared at the other one while tasting the word with his tongue. Music. This was of course not the first time he had heard that word. In the underworld, music was wellknown. But not really that wellknown as in the human world. He himself, a child from a poor family in the outskirts weren't really that familiar with it.

"Sometimes" he simply answered the other with some sort of uncertain tone in his voice.

A couple of minutes passed and it seemed like they had finally reached their destination. A large building rose up before them and the demon stopped for some seconds to let his gaze be swept over the surroundings before following the male inside.

"You didn't have to hold the door open, I'm not a lady" he paused and curiously went past the other one "But thanks anyway".

He walked through a small corridor, waited for some kind of reaction from the other one or a hint were they were supposed to go.

Jay chuckled softly and nodded. "Sure, you're not a lady, but who says I can't hold the door for a man?" He teased the other lightly before closing the door and looking at the demon. "Just go straight, the doors that are at the very end will be the ones~" The red head said somewhat happily as Benny barked excitedly and Jay had no other choice than to let it go and let the dog run straight to their practice room.

The tall male smiled to himself as he slowly walked to the room his dog ran into, glancing back to make sure Masato was still here. Once Jay entered the room, he was greeted by three pair of eyes. All three of them were males. One of them was short, with black hair that had dark blue highlights. He wore black boots and skinny, grey jeans along with a white T-shirt. The other one was even taller than Jay - he had spiky blond hair and a bit of a goofy smile on his face. He had two earrings in each of his ears and right now he was standing with a guitar in his hands. And finally the last guy was about the same height as Jay. He had light green eyes, brown hair that reached his shoulders and a bit of a dangerous look. He glared at Jay the moment he noticed Masato.

"Hey guys, do you mind if he stays here and watches? He's a... Friend of mine, and I said I'd show him around~" Jay said with a smile as he shot a quick glance at Masato - a warning not to say anything more about their relationship. It was best ifhis band members thought they were friends...

The dog almost flew past him. Barking like an idiot. Even though he found the sound annoying he couldn't resist to smile while he observed the tail that excitedly wagged from side to side. So stupid. Getting excited over something like this. Ridiculous. But he assumed that it was something of a feature that belonged to that race. Getting happy over small things. And while he stood there and looked in the direction that the dog had disappeard in the man soon walked past him. And the demon let him do it.

Somewhat curiously he continued forward, but still remained behind Jay. After all, he didn't know what his friends thought about a visitor. Maybe they would accept it. Maybe not. And if someone was to fulfill his wish, it would be a rather peaceful meeting. No unecessary things. Where he had lived before everyone knew everyone. More complicated than that it wasn't. But here in the human world. It was a little different from what he was used to. And meeting new people had always been like a challenge to him. Quietly they entered the room. And somewhat shyly the demon found himself still standing behind the human. And with a simple step he broke lose from the other one's shadow but still tried to be discreet while examining the persons with his different coloured eyes. One black haired. One blonde and one with brown hair. The blonde and the black haired seemed atleast to be not that hostile. While the brown haired human didn't seem to pleased about having a visitor. He could feel the cold in the hasty glance that he gave him. Almost directly the demon looked away. And he didn't change direction of his gaze before the human said something surprising. Friend? He turned his head and looked straight into Jay's eyes. But he didn't say anything. No, instead he restrained himself by twitching his corner of the mouth minimally.

"So you're Jay's friend? Aren't you younger than him?" The blonde said while seeking eye contact with him.

What was he supposed to do? Rather insecure he focused on the human and tried to speak. Which didn't go that well.

"Ah..ehm, that's what everyone thinks but I'm actually older than..I look".

He sounded so vulnerable. And his voice was a pitch higher than his usual. Was he..nervous? The demon swallowed the clump that had appeard in his throath and prepared to answer the next question.

"What's your name?".

"Ma..Masato" he quickly said and straightened his back.

"You have a pair of pretty unusual eyes there" the black haired then suddenly said, breaking through the little conversation that he and the blonde had created.

A long silence followed the words. Great, someone just had to mention it. What was he supposed to answer that with? He pressed his teeth together and decided to wait the time out.

Jay chuckled softly and shook his head slightly, grinning widely. "C'mon, don't make him feel uncomfortable~" He said with a chuckle and turned to Masato, his warm smile back on his face. "You can go and sit down there to wait~ If you get hungry or thirsty... Well, we have a room that's like a kitchen. Those doors." He explained while pointing at the door that were on the other side of the room. When he started talking about food, Jay had completely forgotten about the fact that demons didn't eat. Or drink. But, since he started talking about it, he figured it would be best to finish it off as well.

With a grin on his face, the red head walked over and picked up his guitar, then put it on and quickly tuned it up before walking over to the microphone, lightly testing it out. "You guys ready?" He asked while turning back to the other band members. The blond - Kent - nodded, he already had his bass in place. The brown-haired guy - Thom - also nodded slightly as he stood in front of a piano, though he still shot a slight glare at Masato. He really didn't like other people being in their practices... The black-haired guy - Matt - nodded with a slightly mysterious smile on his face as he sat down on a chair next to the drums and, when no one else was looking, winked at the demon. Clearly, the band members had very different opinions about Masato...

He hadn't expected to be rescued by Jay, but when the other one took control of the situation he couldn't resist but feeling relived. The demon let out a light sigh and then awarded the human with a slightly appreciating glance. He had never thought that he actually would be standing here, in a room filled with humans. Mortal creatures. This was the first time he had met so many living persons at the same time. It was interesting and somewhat exciting. And for some short minutes he had forgotten that he wasn't like the others. And that they searched for him right now. He nodded quietly as he listened to the human and then when the band prepared to start he sank down on the comfortable chair that was placed in the corner of the room. And even though he still could feel some kind of negative energy it was nothing that really had any effect on him. Without any doubt, he was longing to hear what music was in their opinion.

For the most of the time his gaze restlessy wandered around. From person to person but it always seemed to return to the red haired male. Maybe it was because he was in what he would call the center of it all. He didn't know, and actually didn't care that much. But even so, he didn't miss that the one with black hair searched for his attention with a somewhat flirty wink. And directly after having seen that he could feel how his cheeks suddenly got warm. After that, everything started. It was a pretty much flashy opening and then a very soft voice broke through it all. A soft but strong voice to be more accurate. And his eyes widened. He was catched by it all like a little child. Unable to say or look anywhere else but on the persons in front of him. It was clearly that the demon had never seen anything like this.

Jay couldn't keep the slightly goofy grin from his face when he looked at the demon. It seemed that Masato liked his voice quite a lot, hm? The red head had been singing since he was a kid, so his voice was definitely one for singing. The tall male's fingers proffesionally worked the guitar and soon he was completely enveloped with the music. Just at times like this he was able to feel free and completely careless... The golden-eyed male grinned and stepped back from the microphone just a little bit, focusing on his guitar for now. Everyone seemed to be like in some kind of a trance.

Once the song finished, Jay grinned and let out a chuckle before turning to his band members. "Alright, this was good! Just, Kent, this part..." The red head mumbled as he played a small part of the song on his guitar. "I think you did something wrong here." He said with a smile as the blond blinked a few times while checking. When Jay told all the comments to others, he received some for himself and laughed softly. "Okay, let's move on?" He asked with a smile before glancing at Masato... And Benny, who was sneaking closer to the demon with his ears lowered as much as possible. Soon, the dog was laying next to the demon, resting his head between his paws while looking sadly at Masato.

When it all ended it was like waking up from a dream. The sounds suddenly disappeard and with a jerk he found himself staring straight in front of him. The demon drew a deep breath and then leaned back on the chair while he softly rubbed his temple with his fingertips. Strangely enough he felt a little drowsy. And his body felt slightly heavier than earlier. A throbbing pain traveled up from his wound and through his head and just for a moment he closed his eyes. But before anything else he noticed that something furry accidentally touched his leg. Immediately he shot up his eyelids. And threw a hasty glance in the direction of the floor where a golden coloured familiar creature laid. For some seconds he just stared at it. And it actually took him a while to realise what it was. And when he finally was aware of it, he let out a soft and very quiet chuckle.

"Can't stay away can you?" He whispered at the dog who looked back at him with a very sad look in his eyes.

Masato frowned and then looked away. Just by looking into those big round eyes he got to know what the dog thought. It wanted to say something like 'don't fall asleep' together with a 'are you okay?'. It was anyway a very concerned feeling that the dog exuded. *I don't need a dog to worry about me* was the answer he sent when he let his gaze return to the creature. But just seconds after he felt how his consciousness slipped away and his head dropped forward.

Jay blinked a few times before his eyes widened. "Shit!" He cursed as he saw Masato's head dropping forwards. The other band members seemed to be shocked as well as the red head ran over to the demon, quickly checking his pulse and scowling. "Sorry guys, take care of Benny for now. I have to get him to a hospital." He said quickly and put his guitar aside to take the smaller male into his hands and run out of the studio. His dog stayed behind, not even trying to follow, as if he knew what was happening.

The tall male cursed quietly under his breath as he ran over the streets, soon reaching the hospital. He didn't care if the other would refuse. He had to go to a hospital... The wound was clearly still doing harm. The golden-eyed male ran up to one of the nurses and quickly explained the situation, then followed her to a doctor, where the demon would be taken care of. They'd need to stich the wound...

Darkness surrounded him. And an agonizing silence filled the seemingly endless space. But even so he wasn't afraid. Not even a shred of fear could be seen on that face of his. And his ocean blue and bright emerald coloured eyes searched purposefully after a way out. And it was then he saw it. Something rose up from the ground in the form of a grotesque creature. He couldn't really say what he thought it looked like because it was something that he had never seen before. Even though, it all felt very familiar.

"So it's here you're hiding, Masato?".

The blonde staggered backwards, widened his eyes and then clenched his fists. It couldn't be him. There was no way for him to get in here. And if it really were him, then he were breaking one of the laws. No one is allowed to interfere in another demon's dream. And that was just what he did. What Kanato did at this moment.

"Get out".

When he spoke he sounded calm but there was a anger hiding between the words. Well, you can not blame him for being angry though. Someone was after all, making an illegal visit in his dream. What looked like a smile appeared on the creature. It was a smile that evoked unpleasant shivers and he took two more steps back when he realised that the other one had gotten closer. And without him even noticing it.

"Why so angry? Aren't you happy to see me?" The creature paused, stared at him with his blood red eyes and then continued to move forward.

The words he was going to answer with got stuck in his throat and it suddenly became very hard to breath. So hard that he was forced to desperately gasp for air. And then a couple of arms embraced him from behind.

"Soon we will meet again".

Masato broke free from the other one's grip and then he started to run. He ran and ran until he no longer could stand on his legs. And it was then when he started to fall. He fell through the dark while slowly closing his eyes. And suddenly he found himself in an bed. Four white walls was the first thing his eyes could discern. And then a window, and something else. A human. With a deep breath he reached out for the fiery red haired human, let his fingertips softly touch the other one's cheek. And then everything came back to him. The dream, Kanato and his words. Quickly he heaved himself up in an sitting position.

"They're coming" He quietly whispered.

Without giving the human even a chance to protest he grabbed his arm and dragged him to the window that he shortly afterwards opened. It was quite a long way down to the ground. But straight under the window there was a small platform. He climbed out of the window and landed on the platform. Then he stretched his hand out to the human.

"We gotta go".

Jay flinched slightly when he felt fingertips touching his cheek. His golden eyes suddenly shot open and he stared at the demon for a while and, just when he was about to ask if he was feeling better, Masato sat up. The words that the red head heard confused him greatly, but he didn't even get a chance to protest as the demon got up and dragged him to a window.

"Woah! Slow down! What the hell is going on? Who's coming? Where do you have to go? Why am I going with you?!?" Jay asked with panick rising in his voice. "Masato, I can't follow someone - a demon, even! At least tell me why the hell are you leaving and where..." The red head said with his eyes wide. The human held a strong grip on the other's hand as he waited for his answers. "And don't even think about disappearing somewhere again." He warned while narrowing his eyes slightly.

The human was confused, surprised and apparently a little worried too. Feelings that the demon was prepared to handle with. But even so, he couldn't surpress the slight feeling of stress and irritation that raised as the situation continued. They were coming. Kanato was just a simple sign of that they had confirmed his location. Somehow they had tracked him down. And he was almost a hundred percent sure that it had something with the wound to do. Normally it would've been healed for a long time ago. Maybe they had poisoned him. But that didn't explain why Kanato suddenly had appeared in his dream...Something was wrong with him. And he had to find out what was wrong with him pretty fast.

At first he had been ready to go alone since it seemed like the human wasn't going to follow him but, as he turned away from the other one his stretched out hand was hardly grabbed by the human. And he couldn't resist to smile when he heard Jay's words.

"I won't".

It was a warm smile that he gave the human as he helped him out on the little platform. Then he started to explain.

"We're just going to get your dog back. And believe it or not but he's actually going to help me".

His grip around the human's hand hardened and he looked deep in Jay's eyes. It was like he was trying to find something in them. And then, his wings broke free from his back.

"Hold tight now if you don't want to fall" And that was the last thing he said before throwing himself out in the air.

He let out a quiet chuckle as they fell straight down to the ground and just before they would hit he stretched out his wings and immediately they lifted high up in the sky. His arms held the human tightly next to his own body and he turned around, coming into the right position to fly. And with a few simple wingbeats he brought them higher up and soon they were gliding highly over the rooftops.

"So how does it feel?".

Jay could feel relief washing over him when the demon said he at least wouldn't disappear. The warm smile was something a bit... Different from what he always saw on Masato's face. The red head tilted his head and nodded slightly at the demon's words. "Alright, but I thought you didn't like Benny..?" He asked quietly as he gazed back into Masato's eyes. Really, they were just hypnotizing... The man blinked a few times when he saw the wings and in the last moment, he lightly gripped onto Masato so he wouldn't fall, his eyes widening as they fell.

His heart stopper for a few moments when he saw how close to the ground they actually were, but he just gripped tightly onto the other, his breathing a bit uneven. When the flew back up, the red head exhaled heavily and looked at the demon with wide eyes. "It feels... Really, really unreal." He said with a chuckle and, for the first time in his life, thought about how cool would it be to be a demon... Damn, it would be awesome. Maybe there was a way to become one?

It seemed like the human enjoyed it. Even though he at first could've smelled the fear for falling down. Now it was only a light relieved chuckle that left the human and a surely a smile too. The demon grinned at the human's reaction and let out a quiet, soft laughter.

"I know".

Being a demon had it's advantages but with that it followed many different other things that weren't so good. And if the someone wanted to know the truth, it was more sadness than anything else in this so called life that he lived. He let his gaze be swept over the city. Searched for their destination.

After a while he began to get closer to the ground and then softly landed on the asphalted surface right outside the building that they earlier had visited. Slowly he released the human from his grip and the wings quickly disappeard.

"Go and get him, I'll stay outside" He made a light hand gesture in the direction of the door.

It was best if it was the human who would get the dog back. If he followed after him then there would probably be a lot of curious questions that they didn't have time for. Because it was only a matter of time if the poision was meant to kill.

Jay nodded slightly and smiled slightly at the demon. "Alright, I'll be right back." He promised softly before quickly walking into the building. He found the other band members still there, playing their song and all of them quickly turned to the red head. "What happened?" The blond asked while Jay hurriedly walked to his dog and put the leash back on. "I have to go, I'm really sorry.. Once I know when I come back, I'll contact you." He said and looked over at his band members who seemed to be a bit frozen. "Everything's alright, just... I need to take care of something." He said with a small smile before running back out and looking at Masato.

"Well, I'm ready. What did you need Benny for?" The dog jumped up when it heard its name and barked happily, looking at Masato while wagging its tail. Happiness seemed to be radiating from it... Really, Benny took quite the liking towards Masato already.

The human gave him an innocent smile before turning his back to him and headed off to the door to just seconds later disappear inside the building. And as soon as the male was gone the demon started thinking. Was there really a way to get into dreams? Or had it just been an hallucination? No, it didn't make sense to have an law against something that didn't even exist. There had to be a way in. And Kanato had used it. Didn't he get locked away in the hell prison? Then he wouldn't be able to take contact with him. If he hadn't..escaped. A cold shiver leapt down his spine when he considered it a possibility. But after all these years, why hadn't he tried to escape earlier? And wasn't it impossible? And even if he really was back on track, was he really a threat? His powers must have weakened a bit after having been there for so long. And in that case, Kanato wasn't something he should be worried about. But he couldn't avoid feeling uneasy about it.

Masato drew a deep sigh and closed his eyes for a couple of seconds. One thing at a time. The first thing he had to do was to find someone who could help him. Then the second thing was to regain power. And the third..Suddenly the dog came running. With his tail happily wagging from side to side. He crouched down, looked into the dog's eyes and for a short while the demon's eyes seemed to be glowing.

"Lead us to the closest healer" He demanded the dog who stood there as a statue.

And not before he himself had returned to a standing position the dog started to walk. And the demon followed him.

Jay blinked a few times and just followed his dog who seemed like it was following someone's order and just couldn't not obey. The red head glanced at Masato with a bit of worry in his eyes. "...What did you do to him?" He asked quietly as Benny continued walking, its nails clacking against the pavement. The human let out a shaky breath when he noticed the dog walking into some part of the town where he'd never been before. Jay swallowed a bit nervously and gripped the leash tightly, making the dog slow down just a little bit.

"...Where is Benny taking you?" He decided to ask while looking at the demon. Slight fear was rising up inside of him as he thought of the many posibilities... What if Masato decided to make him forget about all this after all?
