"Ooh, you'd better be careful, Takashi. You know how much of a heartbreaker I am, we can't have you falling for me..." Hatomi laughed lightly. He happily resumed their swaying, once again relishing in the music. All too soon, the song was over, but another song with a similar tempo began afterwards. He wondered if they were having a couples themed event with so many romantic songs playing.

Takashi blankly stared at Hatomi with a small smirk playing on his face. "Please, it was just a compliment. And I...I don't even know how this...love...love shit works. I certainly cannot graph out the possible outcomes using equations okay?" He chuckled softly and continued to dance with him. He looked around and noticed that some of the couple have already taken their seats. He wondered if he should take theirs as well.

"Uhh...Hatomi.." he began, nudging the other gently in hopes of noticing.

Hatomi couldn't help but smile at his words. "Can't compute love? So you're some sort of robot now?" He joked. He looked around at the nudging, and a bit of embarrassment got to him for the first time that night. "Yeah, I guess we should sit down too." he muttered. The blonde untangled himself from Takashi and started back to the table, only to bump into a broad chest. He stepped back, ready to apologize, but stopped when he saw the dark eyes staring down at him.

"Wow, long time no see, Hatomi. And I see you've got another guy with you, but that's no surprise." The man grimaced.

"Piss off, Kenji." Hatomi frowned, trying to push past him. He winced when the taller man grabbed his arm and pulled him back. "Let me go." He said angrily.

Takashi wrinkled his nose at Hatomi's sudden change inn behaviour but shrugged it off. He was kind of confused at first when they bumped into this one guy. Do they know each other? But then he saw how Hatomi wanted the guy to go and he knew he had to interfere. Takashi got even more pissed when this so-called Kenji grabbed Hatomi's arm. "Hey hey, he said piss off," he growled softly, taking the man's arm to yank it off Hatomi's own. "Do you not know common courtesy? To not interfere in someone's date?"

Hatomi was surprised but relieved when Takashi pulled the man off of him. But he regretted that when Kenji fixed his cold stare on Takashi instead.

"And who are you? His new toy? Do yourself a favor and get out while you can. All this little whore is going to do is fuck with your head then leave you behind." Kenji warned.

Hatomi's face burned hot in anger and embarrassment to the man's words. "Just leave him alone, Kenji."

"Shut the hell up, Hatomi, or I'll make you."

Takashi sighed. Hatomi wouldn't fuck with his brain anyway. His trig homework fucks him hard than love does. He pushed the man backwards. "Just go, man, Hatomi doesn't want you here, okay?"

Nudging Hatomi backwards, he added, "And no one's going to shut up anyone if you just do as he says and keave us alone."

"Whatever, he's not worth it anyways." The man scowled, glaring back at the blonde before walking away.

Hatomi let out a sigh of relief when Kenji finally walked away. "I'm sorry that you had to see that....and thank you for stepping in. That guy's a real asshole." he added apologetically. His happy mood deflated, Hatomi didn't even want to stay at the club anymore. "He's just going to keep bothering us if we stay, let's just go home."

The blonde left the right amount of money on their table before leading Takashi out of the club. He felt humiliated, and he also felt as if he'd ruined their date.

Takashi was a little bit worried with Hatomi now. He knew he was excited earlier but now, he seemed down. To make matters worse, he doesn't know how to comfort the guy and he mentally slapped himself. I hope this would work. Awkwardly, Takashi reached out for Hatomi's hand and squeezed it lightly before letting it go again. "It'll be fine," he murmurs, "I...I honestly enjoyed the night okay? Well minus that douchebag but...yeah, I had a little bit of fun, yes?" He wasn't lying; he actually liked the effort Hatomi put in trying to teach him how to dance. He was still awkward, but he still liked the thought.

Hatomi hesitated when he felt the other's hand, but a small smile soon pulled at his lips. "I'm glad you had fun then. I told you that clubs and parties weren't so bad." he grinned. Feeling a bit better, the blonde no longer felt embarrassed as they began the walk home. "So are you going to go back to studying? It seemed like you had an important test or something coming up." he said casually.

The taller guy really had contemplated on doing his assignments again and study as soon as they arrive to their apartment but now that he's supposedly dating...

"I should, to be honest, but...I still have to think about your welfare...I mean, if you'll be fine, if you won't be lonely and stuff." Takashi rubbed his nape sheepishly. "I mean, that's what they all say...partner's need before one's own? Or something like that--" He blinked then wrinkled his nose.

Hatomi watched in amusement as Takashi sputtered his way through the response. He couldn't help but find it cute that the taller male was worried about him. If nothing, Takashi was definitely honest and straightforward.

"Hm...well maybe you can do both. I'll study too, so that way you can get your work done, and you won't have to worry about me being lonely." he suggested. When they got back to their apartment, Hatomi went off to change out of his clothes and find his books.

Takashi couldn't help but blink in amazement. He never knew Hatomi studied. He thought he was just all parties and all dating and stuff. Shrugging, he mumbled softly as he took off his shoes, "I'll just be in my room." He quickly dashed to his room and somehow tidied his bed which had been destroyed by Hatomi, himself, and then proceeded to take off his shirt to change into a comfier one.

Hatomi changed into a t-shirt and a pair of shorts, then searched through his messy room for his books. It had been a while since he'd actually sat down and studied. He finally found his school materials wedged underneath his desk. After grabbing his Algebra book and a notebook, he made his way over to Takashi's room, walking in right as he was taking off his shirt.

"I see nerdy boy has been working out." He whistled, taking his usual seat on the bed. "It feels all stiff again." he muttered. The blonde proceeded to ruffle up Takashi's bed to his pleasing.

Takashi stopped halfway and rolled his eyes. "Not all nerds are lanky and dying." He took off his shirt and then changed into a wifebeater before settling back on the floor, scooting to his table. He opens his notebook and book and started scribbling away.

Hatomi chuckled at his response as he settled down to get to work. He opened up the book and squinted down at the many equations. How did Takashi understand any of this? After a few minutes of scribbling down numbers and struggling to understand, Hatomi found himself glancing over at his roommate. He seemed so calm. Maybe this was easy to him? Before he knew it, his glancing became full-on staring.

Takashi was lost in a sea of equations, hummin from time to time whenever he got stuck for a moment. But after several minutes, he had this feeling of being watched. He knew who it was and he tried to guess what it was about. Without raising his head, he spoke, "Yes? What is it? Need help?"

Hatomi jumped in surprise when he was spoken to. He didn't think that Takashi had seen him, but apparently he'd been caught. "Uh...yeah, I don't understand the steps for this problem." he answered. The blonde leaned over with his book, pointing to the section on solving quadratics. "It doesn't make any sense to me." He frowned.

Takashi closed his books before pushing himself up and going to sit beside his roommate. He leaned over, his mouth near the other's ear -- but of course it was him so he wouldn't notice. He breathed. "Hmm. It's quite easy. Here let me." He took the other's pen and slowly scribbled on his notebook, making sure that Hatomi understood by explaining some stuff to him as well.

Hatomi fought the red rising in his cheeks when Takashi leaned in so close to him. Why was he getting flustered? It wasn't like he'd never been this close to a guy before. And to get flustered over Takashi? He glanced up at his roommate, now able to see the sharp curve of his jawline and prominent features. Alright, so maybe Takashi was a tiny bit attractive. He snuck another glance. Alright, he was really attractive, but that was besides the point! What was the point exactly? Right, Algebra!

Focusing on what Takashi was saying, the blonde nodded and watched carefully as he explained. He felt a lot less lost now. "I guess I understand more now. Thanks, Taka-kun." he smiled slightly.

Takashi had no idea that he was being checked out; he continued to explain nonchalantly and methodically to his roommate. He smiled when Hatomi told him that he understood what he taught him. "That's good," he mumbled as he pushed himself up. Takashi ruffled Hatomi's hair before going back to sit on the floor and studying. He was about to start studying when he decided to just sit beside his roommate in case he needed him again. Gathering his stuff, he scooted over to the bed, to where Hatomi was leaning, and placed his stuff unto it before silently continuing his work. "I'll just be here okay."

Hatomi made a face and smoothed his hair back down. Forcing himself to keep his eyes glued to his book, he simply nodded when Takashi sat down next to him. He tried to work out the equations, but his thoughts kept drifting to his roommate. Why was this guy in his head all of a sudden? The blonde figured that he was probably just overreacting, and he once again tried to focus on the math problems.

After a few minutes of diligent working, Hatomi found himself stuck again. "Takashiiiiii, I'm lost again." he muttered, poking him with his pencil.

Even though Takashi had his book open in front of him, his mind was still on Hatomi. He still worried about his roommate despite being initially irritated by the fact that he wasn't always home to help him with cleaning. Nonetheless, he was still his roommate and he felt sort of responsible of whatever the other may turn into the future. Takashi tried to focus on his work, scribbling furiously on paper, drawing circles and graphs.

After a few minutes, Hatomi had poked him again and Takashi quickly looked up, almost seeming eager. He cleared his throat then mumbled in the laziest voice he could muster, "Yeah? Which one?" He knelt and leaned in again, furrowing his eyebrows at the equations his roommate made. "You got the equation...right...but the variables...stop misplacing them," he muttered as wraps an arm around Hatomi to reach for the other's pen on the other side, pulling it back and started scribbling on the other's paper again.

Hatomi almost tensed when he felt Takashi reach around him but he quickly relaxed. What was he freaking out about in the first place? He was just sitting next to Takashi. Very close to Takashi. He blinked when he realized that his roommate had been talking to him. He watched his scribbling and nodded when he seemed to understand. "Ohh, I see where I made the mistake, thanks."

He willed himself to work on a few more, then closed the book with a sigh. "That's enough Algebra for today." He muttered, sitting his stuff on the floor and stretching out on the bed languidly as if it was his own.

"Hmm," Takashi hummed as he sat back down and tried to focus on his work. He did not do much however as he unconsciously glanced at Hatomi. At some point, he noticed how the other's nose bridge was curved just right. His eyes trailed down to the other's white neck and he swallowed; Takashi knew then that he had to go back to studying. But as soon as he got to his second problem, Hatomi had stretched out on his bed and once again, he go irritated.

"Stop messing with my bed," he growled softly, setting aside his stuff before sitting on his bed and nudging the other's waist. "Get off. Right now."

Hatomi turned to look up at him, his eyebrow raising in amusement. "And if I don't?" he challenged. He wondered why Takashi always made such a fuss about his bed. Was he really irritated this time? Hatomi couldn't tell since the taller man always seemed to be irritated. He thought it was kind of funny at this point.
