Takashi furrowed his eyebrows. The look on Hatomi's face seemed to mock him and it made him just want to push the other off the bed. But he groaned in frustration instead, leaning over so that his face was hovering above his as he growled softly, "If you don't...I'll," he paused for a moment, thinking of a clever thing to say, "...I'll ban you from using my room and...and no hot water for you whenever you take a bath."

Hatomi stared up at him when he groaned, a not so innocent thought popping into his head. Those thoughts only increased when Takashi leaned over him. What was he thinking? He tried to clear his mind of such inappropriate ideas as Takashi spoke.

"Really? You're going to have to do better than that if you want to get to me, Taka-kun." he teased, reaching up to poke the man's cheek. His hand lingered on Takashi's cheek as he grinned up at him.

Takashi frowned and tilted his head to playfully try and bite your finger. "What do I do to keep you from messing my bed, huh?" he asked, staring into Hatomi's eyes. They were so close but for some strange reason, he didn't mind at all.

Hatomi laughed lightly and smiled at his roommate's antics. He didn't even notice how close they had gotten in the past few seconds, his mind on other things. "How about you tell me?" he teased, his fingers moving to trace over Takashi's lips. They were softer than he'd expected. "Maybe I just like laying on it."

Takashi swallowed lightly as his eyes followed Hatomi's finger. What was this other guy thinking? He looked back at him and then smirked lightly. "Want me to kick you off huh?"

Hatomi smirked at the threat before leaning in closer, his lips barely an inch away from touching Takashi's. "You wouldn't dare..." he whispered to call his bluff. His stare never left his roommate. He could sense a change in atmosphere in the room. He didn't know where this was going, but he wasn't complaining.

Takashi was speechless for a moment when Hatomi leaned in closer. He knew where this was going -- either one of them has to kiss the other and it could be him if he knew how to. He swallowed and wrinkled his nose. "I-Is this my cue to lean in and kiss? Because I certainly don't know how to."

Hatomi paused for a second, looking up at him in disbelief before an amused grin spread out on his lips. "Takashi, you are so awkward." he chuckled. He didn't give the man a chance to respond before pulling him into a soft kiss. His fingers curled in Takashi's hair as he deepened the contact.

Takashi opened his mouth to say something but then Hatomi's mouth was already on his. He panicked for awhile so he shut his eyes tight and tried to push himself up. Hatomi's hand was suddenly entangled in his hair, stopping his efforts. The man tried to mirror the movement of his roommate's lips. He hesitated on sucking the other's lips but he did so nonetheless.

Hatomi groaned in surprise at the action. He let the kiss last a little longer before pulling away with a smirk. "For someone who doesn't know what to do, that wasn't bad..." he teased. He had basically just made out with his roommate, but he wasn't as worried about that as he'd thought he would be.

Takashi's face heat up with Hatomi's compliment. He looked away and pushed himself up. "I...I didn't know...what I was doing... I swear." He swallowed as he sat up just beside Hatomi and thought. He unconsciously put a finger on his lips. He just kissed his roommate and he thought it embarrassing. He glanced at Hatomi. Should he feel awkward or-- "What...what now?"

Hatomi watched the other move away. He almost looked panicked. Shaking his head, Hatomi stood up from the bed. "I think you've had enough for one day." he chuckled lightly. He ruffled up Takashi's hair before moving to leave. He hesitated on the threshold, then turned back to look at him. "And...thank you, Takashi...for everything." he said softly, a sincere smile on his face for the first time that night.

Takashi wrinkled his nose and nodded, turning around and eyes following Hatomi as he left. "Yeah...? I mean, I barely did anything," he mumbled softly in response to what his roommate said. It was true; he knew nothing about dating stuff anyway. He mirrored Hatomi's smile nonetheless and gave him a thumbs up.

Hatomi laughed at Takashi's cluelessness before bidding him goodnight and retreating to his room. He collapsed on his bed with a tired sigh. Today had been insane. He had gone from occasionally bothering him roommate to dancing with him and making out on his bed. But the oddest thing about it was that Hatomi was somehow okay with that. Shouldn't he find it weird that he was going out with his roommate all of a sudden? After half an hour of thinking, he finally fell asleep.

He nodded and mumbled a goodnight. When Hatomi was gone, he flopped unto his bed and closed his eyes. A lot of new stuff had happened today and he felt kind of exhausted. His fingers trailed up to his lips again, touching it. He had kissed his roommate. His ROOMMATE. Oddly enough, he still felt normal - a little bit awkward but still normal. It's as if nothing changed, minus the fact that they were dating now. He fell asleep as he we was recalling the events of the day.

Hatomi didn't drag himself out of bed until way past noon. After showering and throwing on clothes, he shuffled out of his room and flopped down on the couch. He wasn't sure if Takashi was still here or if he had a class, but he was more concerned about the rumbling in his stomach. He groaned and shot a glare towards the kitchen that he didn't have a clue how to use.

Takashi shot up from his bed and immediately checked his phone. He had 2 hours to spare before his exams and he immediately went out of bed, showered and fixed his room. He had done everything for an hour. He knew he had less time to cook so he just went to the nearby convenience store and bought two microwavable meals, heated one and ate. He left a note on one, telling Hatomi that that was his and to heat it as instructed on the underside of the meal. He placed it in the fridge and left for school. When lunch came, he messaged his roommate to tell him about the food. Takashi wished that Hatomi checked his phone often lest he starved.

Rather than brave the kitchen, Hatomi decided to try ordering a pizza. He patted down his pockets for his phone, then realized that he'd left it in his bedroom. After retrieving his phone, he saw that he'd gotten a message from Takashi. He went to the fridge and found his food. Microwave meals? Takashi really wanted him to starve! But the fact that the roommate had thought about him made him smile a bit. After responding with "thanks Taka-kun :p " he heated up the meal and settled down in front of the television.

He was in class when he received Hatomi's message. Takashi snickered before checking the time. He still had 3 hours to go before school ends. He sighed. Today's going to be a long day.

Hatomi considered asking his roommate what time he would be home, but he shrugged it off as being too much work and settled back against the couch. He had woken up right in time, seeing as he had an Algebra class in an hour. He finished the meal and watched an episode of one of his favorite daytime television shows (a trashy program that exposed cheaters and secrets), then got ready to leave for his only class of the day.

When he finally arrived at his dreaded Algebra class, he was shocked and disappointed to find that he had a pop quiz.

In the middle of his last class, Takashi thought of Hatomi. He sneakily took out his phone and fiddled with it, contemplating whether he should message his roommate or not. In the end, he did, sending a simple how are you, did you finish the meal? before putting the phone back in his pocket. For some reason, he was excited to see Hatomi home and he impatiently waited for his class to end.

Hatomi felt his phone vibrate against his leg, but he didn't make a move to answer it. He was currently staring down at a page full of equations. The blonde had already given up, and he was pretty sure he was going to fail this quiz. As he glared at the paper, he realized that the problems were exactly like the ones he'd studied with Takashi last night. He felt a bit of hope, and quickly tried to answer as many of the problems as he could. When the teacher called time, he turned in the quiz with an uncertain feeling. He understood what he was doing slightly, but he still had the feeling that he'd done poorly. He sat back down in his seat with a sigh. Their professor had instructed them to read the next chapter while he graded their quizzes, so Hatomi decided to check the unknown message. He couldn't help the smile on his face when he saw that it was Takashi.

"It was okay, I guess. But now I'm in Algebra and I'm pretty sure I just failed a quiz! D: " he replied.

Takashi was filing his things away into his bag when his phone vibrated. He quickly looked at the message and chuckled to himself. He quickly scrambled out of his classroom, rushing through some students to get home. He typed, "That's what you get for not studying much. We'll review your lessons tonight, okay," and press sent. He rushed towards the bus stop and got in. He reached their apartment in less than 15 minutes.

Hatomi had been paging through his textbook for a half hour before he heard his professor call him up to his desk to get his quiz. A sense of dread coursed passed over him as he made the short trip to the front of the room. He sighed and prepared himself to accept his failing grade.

"Wow, Hatomi-kun. I see you studied this time." His teacher smiled, handing him the paper with a big "81%" on top.

The blonde's jaw dropped as he stared down at the paper in disbelief. He had passed! With a grin, he bowed politely to his professor and took the paper, then grabbed his stuff and hurried to leave. Their studying had actually paid off! When he got to the elevator, he stopped to check his phone. He hadn't even noticed that Takashi had texted him back. He smirked as he decided to keep the grade a secret.

When he got back to the apartment twenty minutes later, he kept quiet and managed to look as sad as possible. "Taka-kun? Are you home yet?" he asked solemnly.

When Takashi got home, he immediately changed to more comfortable clothes - a loose shirt an a pair of shorts - before going to the kitchen and started cooking curry for tonight's dinner. He was broiling the chicken when he heard the door open and a solemn Hatomi calling out to him. He sighed and turned the heat down before greeting him in the hallway.

"You okay?" he asked, arms crossed. "Is it about the quiz? Did you fail? This is why you shouldn't go to parties too much..."
