Mathias Winden has been alive since the documentation of time. This is because he is actually a vampire, one of the most powerful in the vampire race. His intellect and power have helped him evade hunters for centuries, and now he is one of the few vampires left. Mathias had successfully assimilated into a private school in a small town when he stumbles upon a human like he has never seen before. The possessive creature that he is, Mathias finds himself wanting the human to belong to him completely.

My character:

Name: Mathias

Age: Centuries old, but appears to be around 18-19

Personality: Reserved and stoic on the surface, but he is actually short-tempered, possessive, and gets jealous easily. He is also perverted and loves having a target to pick on and tease.

I'll start~

Mathias sighed as he leaned back in his chair, his long arms crossed over his chest in boredom. There were still a few minutes until class started, and everyone else was chatting in their usual groups. As usual, that left Mathias to sit alone at his desk. He didn't care to mingle with the humans, and this coldness somehow registered as attractive with the silly teenage girls. Mathias didn't care. Having such a reputation only kept everyone further away, which he was pleased with. The classroom door opened again, and his eyes landed on a certain young man. His lip twitched in a somewhat grin, but he quickly erased it, but his eyes were still trained on the student. His only source of entertainment in this horribly boring place.

Hattori pretty much skipped into the classroom. Even as he was happily talked to. There was some softly hidden sadness in his voice and smile. He walked to his chair and pulled out his books. He sat not far infront of the other boy behind him. With soft sighs he began. Writing down things on the board with little difficulty in understanding what's there. It wasn't as if he wasn't adverage intellegence, he just...knew abit more then his fellow students .that was all. ((Ah- I need to type longer. I promise next reply witll be longer))

(No, that's fine! And I understand the phone situation, I'm on my phone a lot of the time as well lol :3 )

Mathias payed no attention to the teacher as he droned on and wrote things on the board. There was no use in taking notes on equations he'd learned a million times. Instead, his eyes wandered to the boy sitting towards the front. He didn't know why, but he'd caught Mathias's attention since the day he'd happily swayed through the door. Mathias wasn't exactly a fan of humans, but there was something about this one that intrigued him. And he found himself wanting to know more about him.

After a while, the bell rang and everyone began to pack up their books to head to their next class. Mathias adjusted his tie and stood up smoothly, walking over to Hatori's desk. "I noticed you weren't having much trouble with the work today. You must be very good at advanced Algebra." he mused. The vampire's voice was deep and smooth, which came in handy when he needed to seduce his prey. Hopefully it would come in handy now.

Hattori jumped slightly the smiled kindly at the boy who had approched him. He hadn't been spoken to by this boy before so it was nice to hear him, he had a voice that sent small shivers down hattoris spine. "Ah, well, thank you. I've been learning these things for a long time. I have never had trouble solving these problems" he hummed. " I'm hattori by the way!" He saidhumming as he stood up. He had to get home to take care of his mother that wasn't feeling well today. He paused to hear the others reply, responding to the waves of goodbye he got from the girls and guys of the class

Mathias was taken aback by his cheerful disposition. He'd never spoken to him before, but it was refreshing to see someone so positive. "Hello, Hattori. My name is Mathias, it's a pleasure to meet you." he said cordially, flashing one of his kind smiles. He noticed from the way he was moving that the boy was intending to leave soon. "Would you like me to walk you to your locker? I can carry your books, they seem rather heavy."

His concern was fake, but Mathias wanted a bit more time with Hattiri. Once he was curious about something, he wouldn't stop until his curiosity was sated.

"Ah...I'm just going home. But you're welcome to come with! I'm sure mom with love the company of both of us!" He said cheerfully as he walked away, gently pulling mathias behind him until they were out of the classroom. "Hehe, mom will be surprised that I brought a guy home this time. I usually end up bringing girls home and my mother would talk about weird girly things." He giggled happily. He was glad that there was a guy he could ask to come with him, he usually had to ask someone else unwillingly and he got awkward.

Mathias simply nodded and followed behind quietly, pleasantly surprised by how easy the boy had obliged him. Perhaps this would be easier than he'd thought. A sly grin passed over his lips, but he tried to keep his face neutral. No need to scare Hattori off. "It's no problem at all. I'm sure your mother is a lovely woman." he soothed.

"Oh she is. She's nice too." He said as they walked out to the streets. He hummed happily, the most oblivious you could be. Maybe more. "You know. I wounder how the girls would react when I tell them I'm gay." He chuckled and ran his hand through his hair. "I can see the shocked faces and 'wait..what?!' Now" he giggled.

Mathias focused on Hattori, grinning slightly. There was something about this boy. He wasn't rude or dishonest like many of the humans he'd come across. He seemed very straightforward and naive, which Mathias found endearing. His grin only widened when Hattori revealed that he was gay. That just made things a whole lot easier. "What a coincidence, Hattori. I am as well." he lied. Mathias had been with both men and women throughout his long life, but if that was what he needed to say to further win Hattori over, then so be it.

"Is that why when girls flirt with you, you wave them off? " he asked crossing the street while nerrowly dodging a car. " you know, if I told the girls in class you were gay, they would probably start fangirling all over the place." He chuckled

"Yes, that's the reason." Mathias responded. Actually, all of the girls bored him. Even if they put up the pretense of being kind and caring, most of them were only concerned with having sex with him. He was aware that there was currently a bet going around as to which girl would be the first to sleep with him, and he wanted no part in their silly human interactions. He would much rather spend his time getting to a certain young man. He quickly sidestepped an approaching car, his eyes trained on Hattori just in case he needed to pull him back at the last second. He was able to relax when they crossed the street. He knew just how fragile human bodies were, and he didn't want his new toy getting hurt just yet. "In that case, I'd rather not let them know. I could do without the headaches." he chuckled.

As they got to hattoris house, he gently pushed open the door and called to his mom who was sitting in the living room. "You're supposed to be resting...!" He scolded softly as his mother smiled at the two. "I know I know. Care to introduce me to your charming friend? " she asked. He blushed slightly. "Oh hush! I know you haven't liked anyone for three years." She said sighing. "This is mathias! He's my classmate!" Hattori said ushering the comversation so that mathias wouldn't ask questions.

Mathias blinked, watching the conversation between them. He could see where Hattori got his kind disposition. The blush on Hattori's cheeks gave away his embarrasment, and Mathias tried to hold back a grin. Giving the woman a polite bow of the head, he smiled kindly at her. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well. Thank you for welcoming me into your home." he said. Even if the silly human superstition about not being to enter a home without an invitation wasn't true, he still thought it was necessary to be on good terms with the woman.

"hello mathias, i do hope you take good care of my son. his naivety gets him into more trouble then someone on a killing spree!" she said causing hattori to puff out his cheeks. "i keep telling you im being careful! 'that' incident wont happen again!" he said before trailing into the kitchen to make some soup for his mother. "please dont mind him...he thinks everyone is bad now a days...ever since he got raped last spring..." her face fell. "i barely managed to get him to smile again." she sighed out..

Mathias had to ignore the urge to pinch the boy's cheeks and call him cute. Which was extremely out of character for him, since most humans either disgusted or annoyed him. But Hattori was somehow different. From the way that his mother spoke, it seemed that Hattori was extremely genuine. And Mathias liked that.

He watched as the boy went off into the kitchen, only being pulled out of his thoughts when he heard what his mother had said. Raped? Just the thought of someone putting their disgusting hands on Hattori made his blood boil. His hands clenched painfully at his sides, but he managed to keep his expression under control. Beyond angry, Mathias made a note to find out who had done it and make them pay dearly.

"Well it's certainly great that you have managed to make him happy after something so unfortunately tragic." the vampire said softly. "I will do my best to protect him, I promise."

"mathias. if i find out you do the same thing to him and then throw him away...ii will kill you. mothers word." she said glaring slightly as if she knew something. hattori came back from the kitchen with an apron on and a smiling face. "okay~! i made a soup for mom and small tarts for mathias~" he mused cheerfully as he handed his mother her soup then passed the other plate to mathias.

For the first time in his everlasting existence, Mathias felt a trickle of fear. She was simply a human, and he could kill her before she could move a muscle. But the look in her eyes told him that she was deadly serious and needed to be taken seriously. Before he could respond, Hattori had returned, and he plastered on a false smile. "Thank you, Hattori. These look delicious." he added. Of course, human food did nothing to sustain him, but he would eat it to please Hattori.

As his mother had suggested, Mathias had come here with the intent to make Hattori his, then he would probably leave and never speak to the boy again. Once his curiosity was sated, Mathias had expected to go on about his business and find a new target. But now that he had spent a bit of time with Hattori, he could see that there was more to him than he'd thought. And the fact that he had been attacked only made Mathias want to protect him, to insure that no one would dare try to ruin the innocence that he found himself liking. "You're a very good cook, Hattori. I hope that you'll make things for me more often."

"piff. only if i ended up your wife." hattori joked and even his mother chuckled a little bit. hattori cleaned up the tray he had carried everything out on and returned to the kitchen. his mother stood up and smiled at mathias, it seemed friendly, but threat was still laced there. "ill do as hattori says and retire for the evening. you two have fun, and dont make to much noise. and becareful on your way home. you dont know what could be lerking in the shadows..." she trailed off and disappeared upstairs as hattori came back. "ah...good, she went to bed." he smiled softly.

((i was thinking having hattoris mother be a vampire hunter. then it would make sense with her smal hostility to mathias. if thats okay))

(That would be great! Good idea~ ^^ )

Mathias grinned, choosing not to comment on how easily he could make that possible. His eyes followed Hattori again, and he was starting to think that the smaller boy was enchanting him. He turned back to his mother and gave another polite nod. "Good night." he said softly, looking at her curiously. What was wrong with this woman? Humans usually gravitated toward him like bees to honey, but she was very off-putting. Did she dislike him?

Impossible. Everyone liked him. At least, that was what he liked to believe.

Mathias looked up again when Hattori returned to the room, a smile pulling at his lips. He grabbed one of the boy's hands and pulled him towards him gently. "Thank you for inviting me along today." he said smoothly.

hattori blushed slightly and stepped back. "nah, it wasnt an issue. i need someone to be here anyway. talking to paintings makes me feel stupid. even though im telling you they talk back, as if theres some weird spirt in them~" he laughed slightly. "but as if you'd believe something like that." he paused and fell to a sitting position on the couch. "maybe mom will skip her night job today..." he sighed out quietly and looked at his reflection in the tv set, which for a moment, shimmered as if his presence was fading. then he blinked, and it was normal. he must be tired.

Mathias found himself laughing at the other's words, an amused smirk on his face. Hattori was definitely an odd one, but in a good way. He went over to where he was sitting on the couch and noticed the exhausted look on his face. "Perhaps you should go and rest as well. You look tired." he said lightly. They would have plenty of time to talk tomorrow, and Mathias was suddenly glad that they shared a lot of the same classes.

"ah. then atleast let me escort you home first." he offered standing up and brushing himself off nicely. he took off his apron and replaced it with a black jacket with a pair of white wings on the back. his mother always said that those wings would protect him from anything. however he found it strange that she doused it in a weird liquid every now and then, although he didnt question it.

Mathias simply nodded and waited for him to get ready. Noticing the wings on his back, he couldn't help comparing the boy to an angel. But not a real angel. He knew quite a few of those and they were all annoyingly self-righteous. Hattori, on the other hand, Hattori seemed so kind and pure. When he was sure that the other was ready to go, Mathias stepped outside. It had already started to get dark, and he worried if Hattori would be alright to walk alone on his way back home.

hattori hurried after mathias smiling. "lets go lets go! mom says theres evil things at night, so we shouldnt take to long!" he mused happily as the two left. hattoris mother stood at the window quietly watching the two leave. "i've been looking for you...mathias. you've lived far to long. dont you agree..?" she chuckled to herself. as she looked at him she held a picture of her and her husband, and two young boys. one was hattori, the other...was hattoris brother who died when the two were 5.

hattori shivered slightly in the cold, even though when he looked at mathias, he seemed to be fine. "dont you get cold?"
