startled by mathias, hattori dropped the bowl he was using to mix and the batter splattered all over his face and clothes. her turn around and made a face. "ugh! look what you did! now my face is all sticky!" he pouted and began to clean up the floor, not bother to worry about himself. "you appeared out of nowhere!" he blinked. "AND PUT A SHIRT ON!" he shouted blushing slightly

Mathias couldn't help laughing heartily at his reaction and the mess he had made. Once again, he realized that this human was very interesting. And clumsy. Extremely clumsy. "And that was my fault? Maybe you should be more careful." he teased, going over to him and standing close. "Why should I put a shirt on? Does it bother you?" he smirked at him. He dabbed some batter off of Hattori's blushed cheek and licked it lightly. "Hmm....rather delicious. And the batter tastes good too." he winked.

Hattori blushed madly and squeaked. "Gah- don't do weird things like that! And yes it bothers me! Who goes around half naked in their own home?!" He fumed before standing up in embarassment. "I need to shower. Where's your bathroom?" He huffed abit irritably. Tease tease, all he did was tease when would- he slapped himself. Wtf was he thinking just now?!

Mathias chuckled and moved away from him, deciding to give him a break. He didn't want Hattori to explode out of embarrassment on only the second day. "There's one in the bedroom you slept in. Extra towels are in the hall closet, first door on your left." he instructed. The vampire finished drying his hair and put on his shirt, buttoning it up with his long fingers.

 

He never thought he would have so much fun with a human, but there was something about Hattori that kept him coming back for more.

He grabbed two towels and disappeared into the bathroom. It took him no time to strip and turn on the water, but a little bit longer to get it hotter. Hattori didn't know why, but he loved hot water. Steaming water. You could say he was sort of a masochistic. Idiot. But it would never come out of his mouth to admit it. He reminded himself to call his mom before he let out a satisfied soft moan from being slightly burned by the water

Mathias headed back upstairs when he realized that he'd forgotten his tie. He walked past the bathroom door, hesitating when he heard a soft moan. The sound alone was enough to run a shiver down his spine. What was Hattori doing in there? He heard another moan, and he couldn't help imagining what it would be like to have the boy making such sounds because of him. Listening again, he noticed a bit of pain in the sweet sound and grinned. So that's what Hattori was into? How interesting. Mathias licked his lips at the thought, but he had to control himself.

After a few minutes hattori opened the door with a towel wrapped around his waist and he was drying his hair. "Were you looking for the tie? " he asked handing it to him. "And you shouldn't creep on people in the shower. You hear weird things" that's an understatement. He puffed out his cheeks.

Mathias straightened and took the tie with an air of nonchalance. "Whatever you say, Hattori. Now hurry along or we'll be late." he scolded lightly as he walked off. Not that he really cared about being punctual. He was on good terms with all of his teachers, and he was sure that they would pardon him from something as silly as a tardy.

hattori sighed out and got dressed before going after Mathias. "you alright?" he asked tilting his head in slight wonder before realizing he forgot to call his mom. "ah! i need to call mom!" he pulled out his cellphone and dialed his mothers number. when he got an answer his mothers angry shouting came through the phone. "WHERE IN THE HELL WERE YOU?!" he squeaked slightly and placed the phone back to his ear. "im sorry! i got caught up at Mathias' house! ill be home from now on i promise." he replied.

Mathias was about to respond, but stopped when his classmate got on the phone. Grabbing his bag and leaning against the wall, he smirked when he heard the woman yelling. He'd tried to be polite to her, but she had made it clear that she didn't want him around. And Mathias wasn't the type to easily forgive, especially after a personal attack. The fact that Hattori was in the middle of this made it even more serious. He wasn't about to give up on the sweet boy, even if his mother tried to keep him away. No matter what, Hattori was his.

"You get home right now! Ill send in a note to school." With that she hung up and hattori gave a panicked sound before bowing slightly to mathias. "I'm sorry, I won't be coming to school today. Take notes for me?" He asked kindly before running off. His mother seemed more agrivated then usual. So when he got home he wasn't surprised when she dragged him upstairs and practically dropped him into a bath of a clearer liquid then normal water without taking his clothes off.

His mother stood outside and lightly chewed on her nail. She could smell that vampire on him and wanted nothing left of it on him.

Mathias nodded and watched as Hattori left. Of course a hunter would be so forceful. Something would have to be done about this. But rather than cause a scene and undoubtedly upset Hattori, the vampire settled to wait it out. He would stay away from the boy's home, but he would still talk to him at school and he would be welcome to come over anytime he pleased. Hattori would be covered in his scent, but the woman wouldn't see him, and he knew that would irritate her further.

 

For the rest of the day, Mathias quietly went through his usual moments, waiting for his opportunity to see Hattori again.

The rest of hattoris day was spent under careful watch of his mother as watched TV and played games soon after. His mother had the sneaking suspicion that Mathias would come after her son again. She didn't want that. She didn't want her precious son whom she wanted to keep out of the supernatural world mixed up with a vampire. Expecially with the powers her son possess.

The next day, Mathias waited patiently by the school gate for Hattori to appear. He had been thinking about him last night, mostly wondering why he was so insistent on having him. Usually he didn't care for humans, and even when he did, he simply toyed with them to get what he wanted, then cast them aside. But he was getting the feeling that he didn't want to do that with Hattori. What was it about the boy that he was so attracted to? Perhaps he was just doing this to annoy that annoying hunter. That was what Mathias chose to believe.

Hattori ran up to the school gates, only to trip and fall on his face causing him to tear up and hold his forehead gently. way to go, so early in the morning and he already hurt himself, his mom will probably panic. When he saw Mathias he smiled softly. "Good morning!" he called out cheerfully before staggering to his feet and walking over. he was bleeding slightly on his hand from where he tried to brace himself, but he ignored it and the pain attached.

Mathias shook his head and sighed. "What a clumsy person." He quickly moved over to him, helping him stand up straight. "I'm going to have to handcuff you to me to keep you from hurting yourself, aren't I? Or even cover you in bubble wrap....what am I going to do with you?" he muttered, taking a handkerchief out of his breast pocket and holding it to Hattori's hand. "Are you alright?"

Hattori gave a cheerful smile. "Yep! lets go okay?" he said holding the handkerchief to his hand as they walked to class. Hattori kept some conversation going even when he sat down at his seat. eyes from others in the class were drawn to him as if the brightness he brought into the room was the most dazzling thing that they had ever seen. He even paused the conversation to greet the girls that normally say hello to him in the morning.

Mathias walked alongside him, only half listening to whatever bubbly nonsense he was saying. His attention was shifted when he noticed the other students staring at Hattori, and he frowned slightly. His scowl only deepened when the group of girls came over to greet him. He casually put an arm around Hattori and smiled to say good morning as well, but the look in his eyes was sharp. They were getting a bit too close for comfort. When the girls walked away, his fake smile dropped and he looked at Hattori. He probably didn't even realize he was a target, all the more reason for Mathias to look after him. That urge to protect the boy returned, and he found himself touching Hattori's face softly.

Hattori was about to start copying notes from yesterday when he felt Mathias touch his face. The others hands were chilling state of cold which was strange to hattori since his own hands were warmer then most. He shivered slightly and slightly pushed the others hand away. "Mathias. Could you not touch my face? People are starring "

Mathias scoffed slightly and removed his hand before going to sit in his own seat. He was already rather irritated and he could tell it was going to be a long day. Who cared if people were staring? It was something he was used to by now. He folded his arms and sat silently in his seat, refusing to acknowledge that he was sulking. But the displeased look on his face told otherwise, and everyone else in the class stayed a safe distance away from him.

"nee nee hattori-kun. is Mathias-kun hitting on you?" the girl that sits behind him whispered. he turned around and gave a smile that seemed full of pain even though the girl didnt notice it. "Of course not. even if he was, i've already decided not to love again." the girl hugged him . He happened to be close to this particular girl. her name was Hirato. "hey hey, dont go sobbing on me. the past is the past kay?" he said ruffling her hair.

Even if Mathias wasn't particularly paying attention to what was going on around him, he could still hear. His brows furrowed when he heard the whispered conversation between the two students. Of course that would happen, just his luck. Not that he had a problem with it. It wasn't as if he was trying to win the boy's heart. He had long since learned that love with a human just wasn't achievable. If anything, Mathias was only concerned with seeing how close he could get to Hattori. Then he would be done with the situation. That was his plan, but things always had a way of going against his plan.

 

Finally, the bell signaling the end of class rang, and he gave a sigh of relief. His hunger had started to get to him, and luckily he had a free study hall period next. Just enough time to go across town for a "snack".

Hattori was being dragged by the wrist by Hirato. "im coming im coming!" he said even though she didnt releasse him until they were a good bit down the hallway to go get stuff from student council for next class. "ow...did you have to pull so hard." she had stopped and turned around. "theres sometime off about Mathias-kun. you should be careful." she warned. "its fine its fine. geez,, both you and mom." he sighed out.
