[Germancest] The Priest and the Monster ((With Azuneko))

Germany still stayed close to Prussia until Russia was gone. He swallowed a little bit and then shook his head a little bit. He let go of Prussia's arm. He realized that could have probably hurt him from how hard he had been holding on. But the aura from Russia that hit him actually really worried him. It made him uneasy because it was strong and unlike Prussia's, there was no humanistic side to it. "S-sorry. I held on tight...." He whispered then. He sighed a little bit. Why had he reacted that way? He wasn't sure. But what really bugged him was the possibility that Russia wanted to take Prussia away...

"Its fine. Its best to hold onto me tightly. That way I know you are still beside me." he said with a light smile. Prussia sighs as he sat down. "If it wasn't bad enough that those priests were after us. Now we have that guy. Don't ever leave my side. That guy is bad news. Unlike me he's all demon and a powerful one at that. He's very dangerous so be careful." Prussia warms. He really wish Russia would leave him alone. It was difficult to convince that guy to go away at times.

Germany nodded a little bit and sighed some. "I felt his aura....that's why I held on so tightly. Because I knew it was strong, way to strong for me to be able to do anything about it." He sat down next to him. "And I don't plan on leaving your side any time soon....sorry for last night by the way.....I didn't realize I fell asleep...so I'm sorry." He said again and rubbed his arm a little bit. "And then waking up to you gone panicked me.....but I'm assuming that was my fault." He sighed a little bit. He still hadn't done anything for the cuts and scratches he got from running back so quickly. But he want to worried about them. The were not really a big issue for him.

"I was being slightly childish so no worries. I felt as of you didn't want to be near me so I went out for a bit. I should be apologizing." he said softly. Prussia leans close to Germany. He froze up noticing the scratches. "Where did you get these!? Who did this to you!?" he said getting seriously upset. He really didn like to see someone he cared about hurt. Germany was that someone he wished to protect. Though during the day he was mortal so not much he could do.

Germany blinked a little bit, he wanted to argue and tell Prussia that it wasn't his fault, but he didn't get a chance. He gave a nervous laugh then. "I kind of panicked and got worried.... Because I didn't know who he was and he was looking for you... So I took the shorter path which also happened to be the path that had about every thistle and tree branch in the way..." He rubbed the back of his head a little bit. "So I kind of got cut up trying to get here..." He looked down a little bit. "I didn't really think about it when it happened but I guess it does kind of hurt now...but it's okay." He looked up at Prussia. "I can deal with it, it's not like it hurts that bad." He smiled at Prussia, trying to reassure him that he was alright.

Prussia narrows his eyes. "Don't lie to me! I can tell they hurt you. I dislike you hiding things from me for my sake. That will upset me. Don't do it again." he said narrowing his eyes. "I can't do anything right now but later we can go out for bandages. I don't want to run into Russia or anyone else." Prussia said narrowing his gaze.

Then Germany softly took Prussia's hand in his own. "Prussia..." He said slowly then, looking at him. "...calm down. Alright? I never said they didn't hurt, but I said they didn't hurt that much." He then tentatively kissed the top of Prussia's hand. He wasn't sure what Prussia was going to do in terms of reacting to what Germany just did. But Germany really wanted for Prussia to calm down a little bit. And then he smiled and looked at him. "And I'll make make-shift bandages for the cuts, alright? Don't worry to much about it. If there is more pain it's numbed at the moment because I'm just glad that you are safe..." Prussia could now tell how worried Germany had gotten about him. It was backed up by all of the cuts along Germany's body as well.

Prussia calmed down almost instantly when Germany kissed him upon the hand. He would have preferred the cheek but this was fine. "If you say so but once its night he's not going to look pass them. As part demon I want to heal your wounds. Though I can't right now. So don't move around so much until night." he said looking away. Prussia was glad Germany was alright in the end. He didn't mean to cause such worry in the other. His plan to let the demon heal Germany later also set his mind at ease.

Germany sighed a little bit and nodded a little. He then stood up slowly, as before he had knelled to kiss Prussia's hand. Honestly he would have kissed his cheek if he wasn't unsure of what would happen. But after a few moments Prussia realized that Germany still was holding his hand. In all honesty, Germany didn't want to let it go. He wanted to keep that reassurance that Prussia was right there with him and he wasn't gone. He looked at Prussia carefully then and smiled at him. "You know Prussia..." He began then slowly then he hesitated for a good moment. He didn't know what to say now that he began to speak but then he smiled. "I'm really glad you are here by my side." He whispered. "I really am." And he squeezed Prussia's hand a little to let him know he was serious.

Prussia glanced over at Germany. "I am glad to be by your side. I enjoy this comfort feeling you give me. I have been alone for so long because of the demon inside me. I am also happy you are here with me." he said softly. His gaze drifting to him. "Are you hungry? I realize I haven't taken you anywhere today to eat." he said looking at him. Prussia really wanted to avoid going out but he couldn't let Germany starve.

"I'm not that hungry." Germany said softly. "If you feel like it's a bad idea to leave I'll be fine. I promise you." He smiled at him and still held his hand in his own. "Besides it's even risker now than before. I don't want something bad to happen to us if we go out." He rubbed his head a little. He didn't want to risk going out if there was a possibility that he could lose Prussia or something bad can happen as well. He smiled a little bit at Prussia. And this time he softly kissed Prussia on the cheek. He didn't want to scare Prussia off by this. But he wanted to reassure him no matter what.

Prussia looked at him. "If you insist butt he moment you get really hungry tell me. If you pass out from hunger I'll be upset with you." he said lightly touching his cheeks. He smiled returning the favor. "Now both our heels can be red. What should we do now? It's still day time and I'm only mortal as of now. So is there anything you want to do or try?" Prussia asked.

Germany nodded a little bit, knowing he could at least be fine for a few hours before his stomach began to growl. He blushed a little softly and smiled at Prussia. "Don't worry I will." He was honestly just glad he didn't get yelled at or something for kissing him on the cheek. And then he had to think. "I'm not really sure." He responded, looking at him. "I don't really know what we would do. Honestly I normally was in my room studying over things than um...well having fun of any kind." He rubbed the back of his head a little bit.

Prussia smiled as he pet his head. "Don't worry. The demon side of me can protect us both so we don't have to worry. We can go out tonight and get you something to eat. That way he's awake to keep you safe." he said with a gentle smile. He was still worried about when the priest would appear again or when Russia would pop up. This was starting to become more troublesome than he had hoped. Nonetheless he planned to keep Germany with him no matter what.

Germany nodded slowly, but he was starting to wonder if he was more of an issue for Prussia than help... Would it have been better if he wasn't here? If Prussia was with someone that didn't attract more priests to him? He hated to wonder about these things, but he couldn't stop thinking about these things either. He softly held onto his hand, and took a deep breath. This wasn't the easiest thing to deal with in the world. He couldn't really comprehend this either. Am I really just becoming an inconvenience for him?

"What's on your mind Germany? I can tell you are thinking deeply about something. Please talk to me." he said softly. Prussia could tell something was on the other's mind. He just had no clue what it was. On top of that he was also concerned about many things. Russia being his main concern. He knew how ruthless the man could be when it came to things he wanted.

Germany slowly looked at him then sighed a little bit. "....it just seems like I've caused more harm than good ever since I showed up...." He whispered then. "....I wonder if it would have been better if I wasn't the one with you...but rather someone that could do better and not attract priests and cause messes......it seems like that is all I've done so far." He couldn't look at Prussia as he spoke. He felt horrible....his heart contracted. And he wasn't sure why. But even thinking, speaking these things, hurt him. He took a deep breath....and his hand that still held Prussia's, squeezed tightly. It was clear it was hard for him to say things like this at all.... He then slowly looked at Prussia..... "I'm not saying I don't want to be here...but....I feel like I'm making things worse for you and it makes me feel horrible..."

"if thinking like that causes you so much pain then stop it. I've not once hinted or said you were causing me trouble.If it hadn't been you another priest would have made an attempt to attack me. Either way our paths would have crossed eventually. Only difference is there would be a pile of bodies here by the time you might have arrived. So be glad it was you who came to seek me out first." Prussia said glancing at Germany. He then grins a bit. "Besides, I am glad your here. Russia might have caused me more trouble if you weren't by my side."

Prussia didn't know how much those words made Germany happy. He then hugged him tightly, burying his head in Prussias shoulder. "You don't know how much those words mean to me." He whispered then softly, cuddling into him softly. He wasn't sure why he was acting like this but he was. Maybe he was just glad to know he wasn't a problem for him....that he actually had a place here....and maybe it had to do with the pain fluttering in his chest that went away.

"Well I am glad to make you happy. Now no more thinking nonsense. Unless I say something to you don't make up things in your head." he said closing his eyes. "We should rest until nightfall. Then we will go out to eat. We also want to be well rested in case of danger." Prussia said as he was always prepared for dangerous situations. This time he now had someone who he had to protect.

Germany looked at him and nodded softly. "Right." He whispered a little bit and carefully pulled back from the hug then. "Alright, we'll rest then until night fall." He murmured. he hoped that he could make sure that Prussia would also be safe. With Russia around he wasn't so sure that something wouldn't go wrong....and if he could be there to keep him safe, no matter what Prussia told him, he would. Which was why he was agreeing to resting, because if he was rested he would be more ready and more aware to deal with anything that happened.

Prussia walked to the booth with Germany. Once inside he sits down and pulled the other close. He closed his eyes and drifted to sleep. He made sure to keep Germany beside him. The demon part of him had a barrier around this one area. That way while resting he wouldn't have to worry. Nothing could get through.

Germany sat down next to him carefully, blinking when he was pulled close. Then he just smiled and he closed his eyes, relaxing slowly. He hummed a little bit and snuggled into him just a little bit and yawned. He was tired. And slowly he fell asleep as well and relaxed against him. For once, he was relaxed as he slept. And he felt like they were safe, so he just hoped that when he woke up, they would be safe.

Prussia watched Germany begin to fall asleep. He smiled knowing the other was relaxed. Once that was sure of he drifted into a light sleep himself. He wanted to be rested for tonight. This would be a dangerous venture just for supper. So he had to be ready for anything. Letting Germany get hurt was not an option. Prussia whispers 'I'll protect you..' in his sleep.

Germany woke up a while later and slowly opened his eyes. He glanced over at Prussia and he smiled a little bit. He looked back to where he could see shadows coming down as the moon was now in the sky. He yawned a little and stretched some, cracking his neck and looking around some. It was night time now and he slowly stood up to stretch, carefully making sure that Prussia was not cuddled into him before he did because he didn't want to make him fall over. He smiled a little at him and then sat back down softly. He smiled softly as he watched Prussia, waiting for him to wake up, softly running a hand through his hair and humming a littlebit.
