Seija
The darkness submerged his office, but Jing liked it that way. The loneliness, the noise of the rain hitting the windows and the taste of beer. Sometimes he ate some chinese food or appetizers to accompany his favorite drink. Or just to fill an empty stomach ready to growl anytime. However this evening was a ''Don't want to eat'' one and he chose to lie down one of the black sofas decorating the room. They were large, very comfortable and in genuine leather. Jing was fond of them as well as the coffee table put between them. During the days, a bunch of mugs and various documents weighed down it. The mess magically disappeared at 8 P.M. Every day at the same hour. Jing closed his eyes. His long fingers ran on the aluminum of the canned beer, meanwhile his lips drew a soft smile. His quiet expression turned into an irritated grimace when an unpleasant ringtone broke the silence. Well, he didn't have another choice to take this call. Better be important or someone would have to deal with his bad mood. “ Yes*?*” He put his cellphone between his ear and his shoulder before taking his shoes left under the table. “I'll be there in well...” he glanced at the fancy watch at his wrist. “20 minutes or less.” He ended the call without waiting for an answer then quickly phoned someone. “Cameron, you come to a casino with me and bring two umbrellas or a coat, please.. Thanks.” Even if his office seemed to be like a second house, some important items were missing and Jing didn't bother to bring them there. However right now, he was simply thinking about a way to brief his right hand man about a certain situation.
Heavyarms03
Cameron had just walked into his house; the cat greeted him from her perch on one of the stands. She blinked at him as her long fluffy tail twitched. He hung up his coat on the peg and closed the door behind him. “Yeah yeah, I know I’m late,” he said to the cat. “Deal with it.” He walked into the kitchen and took her bowl from the counter and cleaned it out before he went to one of the cabinets. His eyes scanned the cat food cans and he grabbed one at random. Placing some dry food in the bowl, he watched as his Maine coon jumped on the counter. She sat and watched him as he mixed her dry and wet food together and then slide the bowl towards her. She started to eat and he ran his hand over her a couple of times. He started to pull off his tie when his cell rang. “Yeah boss,” he said as he answered the phone. He listened to the man talk for a second. “I’ll be there to pick you up in five.” He hung up the phone and put it back into his pocket. He fixed his tie and headed out the door as he grabbed the two umbrellas. The drive to Jing’s wasn’t that far, about five or so minutes for Cameron. He got out of the car and walked to the door. He smiled at the man. “What casino are we going to sir?” he asked, holding the umbrella out open so the underboss could walk to the car without getting wet but also without the fear of carrying it himself. Seija
I should have taken my medecine. The thought crossed his mind too late while his body lasciviously leaned against the wall. The face of his psychologist nagging him popped suddenly in his head and Jing shook it slightly. She would probably strangle him right away if he didn't follow her advices. But in the end, she was the only one caring. Or maybe not. Seeing Cameron's smile eased him. If Jing didn't give him his current position because of it, this expression was important and thanks to it, the world didn't seem to be full of enemies. “ To the Red Crown... ” he took his cellphone out of his jacket's pocket. “ And they probably will play to poker later. Could you take my turn ?” If he didn't enjoy playing it, he liked watching the players. Obviously, losing wasn't an option and the man wanted a significant victory. The one called really profitable. He was still thinking about it, when his body sat in the back seat. As usual, the car's interior was perfectly clean as if the vehicle was brand new and Jing closed briefly his eyes. “Some men from another gang messed with the employees of the casino. They frightened them, blackmailed them and tried to steal the drugs we have for the VIP rooms.” He paused while looking at the city's lights through the tinted window. “So we are going to have a little chat with two of them and make sure they say to their friends to stay away from our place.” His voice sounded a bit sarcastic and amused at the same time. “ Choose how you will deal with them, but something short and unforgettable... Words don't work on those kind of guys...” he muttered to himself.
Heavyarms03
Cameron closed the door to the passenger side back seat and made his way to the driver’s side. He started the car, and looked into the mirror at him. He pulled out into traffic and headed towards the Red Crown. He listened and nodded his head. “I will take your turn if you want boss,” he said as he made a turn. He listened to the rest of what was going on. He looked at the glove box; he reached over while they were stopped at a red light and took out a knife. He sat it on the seat and started to drive again. “Short and simple boss,” he promised as he pulled up to the Red Crown. He got out of the driver’s side and took the umbrella. He opened Jing’s door and held up the umbrella for him. The knife was already in his pocket. He walked with Jing up to the doors and opened it for him. The casino was filled with smoke and a lot of bodies and sounds. Cameron closed the umbrella and looked around as he adjusted his suit jacket. He looked around, women barely dressed walked around with platters and trays. His eyes didn’t linger on them for too long as his attention went back towards his boss. “Anything I can do for you?” he asked Jing in a whisper as he nodded towards the clerk. Seija
After Cameron opened the door, he left the car then stretched his body. Honestly, casinos weren't his favorite place. Too much noise, too much people. His first time here had been a real nightmare. He had spent his time avoiding people's contact, except the hands he had to squeeze. This simple gesture had help him to know what the men were thinking. Strange guy. Weakling. Greenhorn. Someone who couldn't last in this industry. They were all laughing behind their polite smiles. He remembered feeling angry at those scornful thoughts. In the end, he crawled his way to the top and his choices had consolidated his position. While his body made its way through the crowd, his eyes spotted some women looking at them. No wonder, his right hand man was a fine specimen and Jing was quite surprised he never asked for vacations. However, his mind quickly focused on another thing. “Mh, just wait a moment...” he replied before looking for someone. He suddenly waved at a man who immediately jogged towards them. His smile reflected a bit of concern. “Linguine with lobster and a bottle of Chardonnay. Bring two glasses. We will be in the room 117.” Then he walked towards the VIP rooms. “Cameron? You know, if you need to spend time with someone or to do something more... fun, feel free to ask me.” His feet stopped in front of a door. He opened it and looked at the people waiting. Two men sitting on the floor were tied up, whereas three others were standing behind them. Jing greeted them then settled in a bright red sofa. He didn't care about the fate of the men, one thing was in his mind : food.
Heavyarms03
Cameron looked towards Jing and then back towards the women, he shook his head. Not really my type. “Thank you boss but I’m good,” he said as they walked towards the VIP room. He followed Jing inside and watched as he sat down. He stood beside the door his gazed towards the two men. He folded his hands in front of him. His expression was blank as he stood guard. After a few minutes a waitress knocked on the door and he opened it. He watched as she sat the dish down in front of Jing, the bottle of wine in an ice bucket and two glasses. She smiled at them and left them alone. Cameron moved and checked the men’s bindings; he moved one away from the other by a couple of feet. He moved closer towards Jing and stood beside him. Now that the food was inside he was free to stand beside the boss. He would be the one that punished the two men, but he knew better than to do something without Jing saying something. Questions or simple statements were needed before punishment. The three men didn’t leave also. ((sorry this is short))
Seija
A malicious smile lit his face when the waitress entered. She seemed so diligent and not noisy that Jing promised himself to give her a little bonus. Then the man took the bottle of wine and a pale gold like liquid filled a glass. He put the wine at its previous place then his fingers lifted the glass. He examined the wine's color for a while and stood up before walking towards the guests. His eyes studied them closely. “ Cut their top, we need to know if they have a tattoo.” His body stopped in front of the two gangsters. “And you, gentlemen, I have a little question for you...” He paused, took a sip and his tongue quickly licked his lips. “Do you work for someone close to me?” Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. In this world where the list of enemies was longer than the list of friends, checking this point was worthwile. However the men quickly glanced at each other with an hesitant light dancing in their pupils. Jing suddenly put his free hand on a man's cheek. He quietly stood up and came back to the sofa. “ I see...” he whispered to himself before saying louder. “ Take care of them and just put something aside like a pinky or whatever, I want to send it to someone.” ((no problem ))
