707 Posted March 27, 2014 Share Posted March 27, 2014

Eo

::21::

::Male::

::Seme::

Magus Grandia

Likes Eo is mostly silent and it goes to show that he enjoys tranquil atmospheres although from time to time he also enjoys listening to the hustle and bustle of a crowded city. He also enjoys reading, from books while relaxing to runes protected by deadly traps. Experimenting with potions is also one of the few things he enjoys, although he only does this particular hobby at random intervals or when he gets his hands on appropriate materials. Dislikes Noise. And lots of it is, most of the times, what Eo dislikes the most. It renders him incapable of focusing nor meditating. Annoying people, is another one and at it's severity, he has no qualms in ripping tongues and throats out.

Eo is silent, mostly opting to speak when spoken to, although he tends to talk to himself while experimenting with his potions. He is also calm, airing an unwavering blanket of indifference. He can be cold at times, but he can also be caring if he wanted to. He is a hard person to impress and harder still to catch his attention, although he can be observant at times. He tends to work best when alone, but he is not disinclined to work with someone he can trust. He is protective to people he cares about.. albeit in his own way. Most of the times he tends to get little to no sleep so he takes one whenever he could. Eo is merciless and cruel when angered, vindictive and destructive when pushed to the limit and sometimes tends to be swallowed by his own rage. 707 Posted March 28, 2014 Share Posted March 28, 2014 Lifae A large continent with it's variegated climates, from the unending winter in the northern mountains to the scorching drought of the Shifting Sands. It is a home to a wide number of creatures, most of which have established their own land and kingdom; like the Elves and Terrestrials of Du Alemesthora, a dense forest covering the entirety of the western and southern plains, the Dwarves of the rocky spires of the mountains of Oui in the east, and to the snowy north, the isolated and mysterious Howaito Kingdom. But another kingdom lies forgotten within the heart of the Shifting Sands. The Kingdom of Man and although it is already in ruins, the remains of its once mighty population still resides within it's dilapidated walls. Among these being were warriors, soldiers, scholars, peasants, royalties, workers. But there were those with a rare gift. The gift to bend the laws of nature, to wield its destructive force by their will alone. There were Magicians. Rare as they were, they had two classifications; the Sorcerers, able to wield the might of nature, and the Esperias, able to summon mighty avatars called Espers to fight and protect. It was a balanced co-existence where everyone minded their own business and never bothered the others. But then this balance was destroyed when a massive army suddenly appeared out of nowhere and began an unstoppable expansion campaign. The Dwarves were the first to fall, their elaborate tunnels proving to be the reason of their downfall and although not all of them were killed, the remaining ones were collared as slaves, forced to mine precious crystals. The Elves and Terrestrials proved to be a powerful combination so the mighty army bid its time while at the same time constantly looking for weaknesses against this alliance. Five and fifty years passed and it seemed that the mighty army had become even more powerful. For the first time, the alliance of the Elves and Terrestrials are being pushed back into their borders. But far from the chaos of battle, a crystal is broken, a prisoner set free and a light blinds the sky. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Key-Tokki Posted March 28, 2014 Author Share Posted March 28, 2014 Quiet, everything was quiet. Not a scary kind of quiet, or even and eery one, but one that signified peace. This kind of quiet gave off a tranquil and homely feel. This was his home, this was the only place he had ever been, this was the place where everything was familiar, nothing unusual ever happened. Others like him had been here one moment, and gone the next. Meaning they were summoned, however it had not happened for a very long time, which is why it was so very quiet. All the espers were linked, they felt each other when they were here, this was home, home was safe. However, the young esper began to feel a a tug at his very essence. This was unfamiliar to him, causing him to hold fast to his home, this place. However, it felt like someone was hooking fishing hooks into him, and tugging, there was tingling all over his body and a constant jolt and pulling, and with a final tug, the esper vanished from his home. Everything was bright light, and warm, even here, though it was not home he was safe. That is at least, what he thought, until he became aware of something around him, something strange to him.. The bright light spread throughout the sky, casting it's appearance throughout the entire land. Faye felt something hard touch his feet, just as he came into contact with the ground. However, everything was still, the light still shone brightly, bathing him in it's warmth. For the first time, the young esper opened his eyes on earth, and took in the figure standing across from him in shock. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
707 Posted March 30, 2014 Share Posted March 30, 2014

The Howaito Kingdom; we have always lived in seclusion, hidden behind the dance of snow where none could find us. In time we became just a legend, superstitions whispered around campfires. We did not mind, for we are their watchers, the keepers of the olden ways. But we did not anticipate what happened next. We were the strongest, all of us magicians. But still we were defeated, slain upon the very halls that protected us. Blood soaks our kingdom and here I am, in the most forbidden of places. But I shall not die without doing anything. I will free him and he will bring about a flood of vengeance for our people. My deepest apologies if Lifae burns in his rage.

The room was dark, every inch draped in a heavy mantle of shadow that not even sound nor light could penetrate. In the middle lay a dimly glowing but massive crystalline structure; like an imposing tower, it lay within a bed of sharp and pointed spires, each holding a chain that kept the crystal immobile. But it's most striking feature was the figure it was encasing. Tall and lean, the figure stood frozen, arms and feet chained together as if the crystal that encased him wasn't enough to keep him prisoner. But through the thick layer of light blue crystal, the figure's consciousness stirred, swift mental strands unfurling and coiling outwards and assessing everything within the confines of the shadowy chamber. Then, just as quickly and suddenly, the silence was broken; sharp shards, breaking and shattering against the onslaught of a heavy mental shockwave. The room shuddered at the impact, seeming to expand as the force willed it but then the walls gave a mighty push and all seemed still, the silence only broken by the tinkling of rolling crystals and the jingle of chains. Tap. Tap. Tap. Followed by a brilliant burst of light as doors were opened and the figure stepped out from the prison that kept him caged for more than a century of forced meditation, silver eyes taking in the sight beyond the dark chamber. Bodies. Bodies littered every hall, room or garden, the white walls hued with blood. A pale finger traced a thick stain; dry. Too dry. Dark boots kicked a nearby body, turning it and revealing a mangled skeleton missing three ribs and a jaw. These weren't bodies.. these were.. remains. Decomposition had come and gone. How long had it been? Who was the one behind it? Sharp eyes narrowed as the figure turned on his heels, his footsteps ever so silent in the city turned graveyard, and although those silvery eyes were calm, the mind behind it screamed retribution. And the jingle of chains continued to rattle. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Key-Tokki Posted March 31, 2014 Author Share Posted March 31, 2014 The air was warm, never to hot never told cold here, it was always at just that perfect temperature. They were born for the soul purpose of being summoned, this place, there home, was meant as merely a relaxing place of rest. Where they could rest there weiry bones once they are released from a summons, which rarely happened. Now a days though, no one was ever summoned, those who could summoned them must have died off, or found some better species to use as protectors and servants. For the last one to be summoned seemed as though it was a very long time ago. Though that could be false, since time flowed differently here. The espers aged very slowly in this deminsion, once they were summoned the moment they hit Lifae's air, they seized to age ever again. There were a few select espers that had grown very old and wrinkling due to the fact that they never were summoned, though be this as it may, none died from old age yet, either they could not die from old age, or no esper had ever made it that old. When an esper was in it's own demension it is as though they are in a dream, a sluggish, relaxed pace continues around everthing, the sun seems blurred out, so it is never to bright, and there is never any rain or snow or wind at all. Those espers whom had never been summoned before had difficulties understanding the concepts behind such horrible sounding weather ailments. Here the could sleep for decades at a time and not bat an eye at it, everything seemed so mellow and slow. The moment an esper was summoned it was like splashing cold water on a sleeping persons face. Feeling pain for the first time, cold, wet, truly afraid, all these sensations were foreign to the beings, and usually unpleasant until they were gotten used to. Maybe of the veteran espers would spread stories about the place they were summoned to, and how amazing and large earth was and how it had so many different species on it, earth had always enticed Faye, but never did he think the day would come, where he would actually show up there.
