It was several hours before he found himself driving back up to the beach house. He had stopped and picked up take out on the way as a treat for the neko for his cooperation thus far. In fact, he had enjoyed his trip so far. They both got a good release and had a bit of fun getting it. Plus, he had fun teasing the neko. All together, he'd say all was well. He smiled as he honked and headed up the driveway. He wanted to take Vince out to the beach that night. It was supposed to be very appealing for tourists and locals.

He had fallen asleep next to the rock and woke up as he heard a noise, not thinking that it was his master he leaped onto the rock and bolted across the road in front of the car quickly to get out of the way. He sniffed the cool air and mewed softly looking around, knowing that driver would be angry he quickly hid in the bushes shaking.

Velvet went wide eyed as he spun to a stop off the side of the drove way. He frowned and got out of hiss car before approaching the bushes. "Hello? Hm... maybe it was a rabbit or something." The raven tried smiling kindly as he approached just in case it was someone. He couldn't make out who or what it was with how fast the other had dashed by.

Vince recognized the males voice and gasped quietly before backing away slowly,he was upset with his master who had left him alone without food for a few hours. He growled lowly at the man,and then bolted off into the woods,the man should know the growling from Vince.

Velvet frowned when he recognizzed the neko. He had hired a maid to look after and take care of the neko. If he'd taken off, she should have called him. He felt partly to blame for not checking in. Following the path the other took, The raven whistled and called for Vjince. "Vince! Viiince!? I brought dinner! Don't know if you've eaten while I was gone, but it's really good!" Hhe frowned deepera he looked around. "Come and talk to me! It's not safe out here!"

Vince whimpered and heard the male,he wondered how the male knew his name,he stopped and turned and glanced back. He mewed loudly and bolted over towards him, and tackled him and licked his face "Master I thought you left me.." He purred and Nuzzled his face into his neck.

"Awe. Vince..." Velvet chuckled as he fell over and wrapped his arms around the neko. He was happy Vince had stopped runnung, but worrued something might have happened. "Are you alright? No one hurt you? I want to know the whole story."

Vince smiled and nudged him gently before climbing off his master and shaking "I woke up and searched everywhere for you,then I noticed you were gone and I ran outside and his by a rock for a long time. When I woke up again I almost got run over" He licked his cheek and wagged his tail, and perked his ears.

"Oh Vince. I told you I had meetings today." Velvet sighed as he pet the neko. He wasn't mad. He was judt glad the other was safe. "Well, promise you won't run off like that again. I've got dinner in the car. So, let's go eat and figure out my schedule. Then you'll know when I have to go for business."

Vince blushed and nuzzled his head into the males chest before getting up. He was starving, and he tugged on his master before he bolted to the car and crawled into the front seat sniffing the delicious food.

Velvet smiled and shook his head as he stood and headed back to thee car. He got in and started it back up before driving the rest of the way up to the house. He pulled up to the front door and stepped out, walking around to open the neko's door. "You wanna bring the food in? I'll take the car to the garage."

Vince settled into the seat until they arrived,once his door was opened he grabbed the food for his master and headed straight inside with it. He placed it down on the table and purred smelling how delicious the food smelled,he was starving and really wanted the food now but decided to wait. He climbed into one of the chairs and sat patiently and flicked his tail back and forth happily.

Velet waited for the front door to close before gettng in the car. He pulled in ti the garage and locked everything up before heading inside. The raven stopped through the kitchen to grab plates, forks, and glasses before heading to the dining room. He was hungry himself and the food did indeed smell delicious. He entered and amiled as he set the dishes down. "Thank you for being patient. You can dig in now. I got the plates."

Vince looked up at his master and smiled,before saying anything to the man he grabbed the food and grabbed anything he wanted and tossed it onto his plate and mewed happily. He stared at it and then started chowing down,he was indeed very hungry he hadn't eaten in a few days and now that he finally was eating he wanted to get enough to fill him up for a couple days maybe a few hours. He made soft noises as he ate.

"Woh. Slow down, love." Velvet chuckled as he made himself a plate. He took his time in eating and filled both glasses with soda. The raven enjoyed their meal and rather had a good fil of the food. It made him wonder what to have for their next meal. As he would be keeping company with the neko.

Vince slowed down when Velvet asked him too, he blushed "Yes sir" He ate slower and every bite was amazing, he flicked his tail happily and listened around. He heard footsteps enter the room and shied under the table and right over to his master.

Velvet chuckled as he watched the neko for a moment. He had to calm his laughter before looking up to greet the newcomber. He stood and smiled at the other as he set his fork down. The raven had yet to speak to anyone outside of the neko and his business partners at the meeting. He had to make a mental note to speak directly to the maids and servants on property. He had to be sure Vince was taken care of when he wasn't there. "Sorry for the delay. I hadn't heard the door. Vince, why don't you show proper manners."

Vince walked out from behind his master and perked his ears smiling and walked towards the man. He mewed and held out his hand to him and flicked his tail patiently waiting for the man to shake his hand,he smiled "I'm Vincent or Vince. Welcome to our home" He giggled softly and his ears flicked back and forth listening to the sounds,and people. The man knelt down and took his hand with a friendly smile "Well hello there Vince,pleasure to meet you" He shook his hand then glanced over at Velvet and chuckled softly "Oh it's alright you seem to have your hands full" He sat down in the chair near Vinces master and smiled.

"Not at all. Vince has made my time here quite relaxing if you forget the running out in front of my car bit." Velvet chuckled as he tk his seat. He looked to Vince and gestured for him to sit in his lap. "I'm Velvet. Vevet Guzru." The raven pilued a business card out of his pocket, handing it to the other man. "You could say I dabble in many trades, but this is my main. The Neko Hotel."

Vince ran over and climbed up into his masters lap and purred,watching the two men,he had no clue what was going on but he was a part of it for now and he enjoyed it. He smiled and pawed at the card that his master held in his hand and mewed trying to pull it out of his hand,right now he was in a very playful mood but knew his master was very busy. The man nodded his head and smiled "Good to know you can keep him in line Velvet,I'm Dalton Hermon. I capture stray nekos like this one here and sell them,well after we beat them and try to train them to be good" He shook his head and took the card from Velvet and placed it in his pocket. When Vince heard that this man ran a company that harmed nekos,he flattened his ears and hissed at the man.

Velvet pet Vince's head and shushed him as he gave the man a smile. Mr. hermon, I specialize in taking in neko's and giving them honset work while they learn obedience and manners. Why not call me anytime you come across nekos? I will pay good money as long as I have the room and you won't even have to waste time training them." The raven looked down at the neko in his lap and smiled as he tilted his chin up. "Vince, run along and fetch a drink for Mr. Hermon. I'm sure he's parched from coming out on auch a fine day."

Vince purred when his master stroked his head and settled down instantly and licked his hand gently and wagged his tail happily before jumping down out of his lap and off to the kitchen. He climbed onto the counter and pulled out a glass and set it down before jumping off,he then grabbed it once more filling it with cold water. Dalton chuckled and leaned back looking the card over and smirked "Sure,but they are fiesty little critters I am sure you will have a handful and Vince might become very jealous" He shrugged and sighed "I have one right now that is tied up in my car that is very aggressive if you are willing to pay for him,his name is Shadow."

"Vince may be young, but he knows that jealousy is not an emotion to trouble onesself with." Velvet took a drink from his glass and raised an eyebrow at the other man. The way he spoke of nekos was as if they were wild animals caught in the forest. He didn't rightly like it. He felt the man to be the beast in the senario. "How much would you desire for Shadow?"

Vince brought the man his drink before he walked over to his master and once against crawled onto his lap "Master,are we getting another neko? Can I play with him!" He bounced happily,he was excited and wanted to have company and maybe a friend. The man chuckled and shrugged "Whatever will get that aggressive monster off my hands, and Vince you might not want to play with him he could kill you" He stood up,the only reason why Shadow was so mean was because this man made him that way. In the car,shadow hissed and clawed at the seat trying to get free,his ears flattened and he looked around.

"Hm... I see. If you can bring him in, I will get a check ready." Velvet laid a hand on Vince's head and smiled at the neko. "I bet you can play with him. Just gotta let him get used to a new home first. You don't want to scare him. Perhaps you can help him prepare for what will be waiting back home for him." The raven picked his fork up and started eating some more. He was almost excited to see this neko, but the anger towards the other man's treatment of him made it easy to hold down.
