A Perfect Time and PLace w/ Ryo-kun

[Ryo-kun]

Darius nodded and listened to him feeling a bit unsure about the date. He glanced at the menu once again and whistled then ordered two chicken salads. He leaned back "Look I am sorry for trying to be a good person" He grabbed his glass and took a sip looking away from him.

"Don't apologize. I've only been eating tv dinners from a convenient store up until tonight. So honestly I had no idea what to order. This is my first time in an actual restaurant." he said poking the table. Yuji couldn't help but get jealous. If Darius came from money, then the other had tons more experience with things he could only dream about.

Darius shook his head and watched the younger male "Well I'll feed you" He sat up when the waiter came back with their chicken salads. He turned and left them closing the curtain. Darius looked at his food "Try it Yuji it's delicious." He replied

Yuji looked at the food and took in the scent. "My this smells so delicious. Your sure one lucky boy." he said as he picked up his fork. He then slowly takes the first bite of his food. His eyes widen in excitement. "Wow its incredible! The fact you get to enjoy food like this often its a crime." he said as he started eating again. Yuji didn't think he could ever go back to normal tv dinners ever again.

Darius watched him in slight surprise at his reaction to the food and then reached over and grabbed his fork and began to start eating from his salad. He loved the chicken salad,he usually ate this a lot before he would eat meat like steak and ham but chicken was his top meat. He leaned back in his seat and examined the boy closely and chuckled softly "Easy Yuji don't eat so fast,you will get sick" He shook his head slowly.

 

The butler walked over and smiled a bit,he looked at them both before pouring some more wine into both of their glasses and bowed "How is your food gentleman? Would you like anything else? Like ice-cream or a sundae?" He smiled at them and waited to see if they were going to answer him before he took off,he wouldn't leave it was rude to leave before an answer was made.

Yuji stopped and blushed a bit. He didn't realize he was eating so quickly. It was just so good. He slowly down glancing at Darius. "So to think a rich boy like you is actually a bit normal. It's odd you know. I've met many from money and your the first who isn't stuck up and a snob. Why is that?" he asked curiously. He glanced over a bit noticing the waiter had returned. He smiled gently at the other. "The meal is incredible. Thank you!" he said humbly. He the glanced over to Darius again. He wasn't sure if having ice cream would be alright. Though his eyes had lit up like a child's in the hopes the other would realize he wished for it.

Darius shrugged and looked at Yuji when he heard the question but then answered his curious question. "Well,if I was stuck up and a snob then I'd have fake friends that only like me for money." He smiled at the butler and nodded "Yuji can order some ice cream I cannot up for a sweet thank you thought"

 

The butler bowed "Yes sir" he glanced at Yuji nodding "Good,now what would you like for ice cream?" He watched them but then looked away not wanting to be rude.

Yuji was surprised to receive such a reply. He was starting to think he had been wrong about Darius all along. He glanced over towards the butler and smiled. "Uh, chocolate and vanilla ice cream are my favorites but I'm not sure if you'll have them in waffle cone here." he said feeling a bit nervous asking for something so simple and common. He wasn't sure if Ice cream was much fancier in such a restaurant. He had to be sure not to look completely stupid. After all he was the brightest student in school yet public setting as such always seemed to throw him off.

Darius looked at his salad and pushed it aside,he was full and just wanted to relax and enjoy the evening with Yuji. He glanced up at the dark skies and the stars twinkled which made him smile. He yawned and closed his eyes thinking for a moment.

 

The butler chuckled "Of course sir we can make you one be back" He turned and hurried off,he couldn't disappoint Darius or Yuji so he made the waffle cone and filed it with chocolate first then vanilla,then dipped a little chocolate on top.

Once the butler walked off, Yuji looked over towards the other. "Darius? Are you bored over there? We could leave if you are." he said noticing the other had his eyes closed. He didn't feel like wasting the other's time if this was really not to his liking. Though it would seem odd since Darius was the one who asked for this. Yuji stared up at the night sky. He never really liked the stars since they were so far away. They only made him feel extra lonely in the world.

Darius opened his eyes and looked over at him with a slight grin on his face. He watched Yuji and shook his head "No I am fine just thinking alright,don't worry okay." He leaned back and then sat up leaning over the table "Relax just enjoy your food"

 

The butler returned and offered Yuji his waffle cone,he smiled. He bowed a bit before he turned away and left. "enjoy!"

Yuji smiled a bit upon the butler's return. He held the cone and began eating the ice cream. He wasn't sure what to think of Darius. It was as if the other only wished to take him out for food. This night was definitely odd but it wasn't all bad. He continued to eat the ice cream silently. Yuji was trying to figure out what is on Darius' mind. Why did the other wish to come here? Was there some ulterior motive behind this diner date? Yuji just couldn't figure it out.

Darius watched him eat the ice cream cone and blushed softly before he stood up and walked over to Yuji and knelt down whispering into his ear "After we are done here lets crash at my place,I can help you with a few things if you want and we can watch a movie or something else" He grinned and looked over meeting his eyes and then returned to his seat and watched his reaction.

Yuji looked at Darius from the corner of his eye as the other moved towards him. His cheeks heating up a bit by the other's words. 'Help me with what...? Do I look as though I need help with anything...?' he thinks as the other had returned to his seat. This made him instantly feel awkward. Yuji tried to focus back on eating his ice cream. It was the last thing he could think of doing at this point. He really wasn't sure what Darius had on his mind. 'I'll request to go home after this... That should throw him off a bit..' Yuji thinks to himself

Darius called the butler over and he brought the check to him and nodded. He stood up and sighed shaking his head "I'll walk you home.." He could tell Yuji didn't want to be with him,he had to drop the crush he had on Yuji cause it was clear he was straight. Grabbing his bottle of wine he tipped the butler and walked to the door waiting on the younger guy,he looked outside.

Yuji got up as he noticed the other said he'd walk him home. "Uh, Darius?" he mutters softly as he stood beside him. "This was nice. I wouldn't mind doing this again sometime. Anyway I'll be going. Here, this might cheer you up some." he said quickly pecking his cheek and running off towards home. Yuji glanced back when he was far enough in his judgment. "That was for before. Now we're even." he said smiling and continued to run home. Yuji hopes that was enough to keep Darius from making such a sad expression. He really had no issue in the boy liking him. It was interesting and by far the most entertaining thing he's ever done. Once getting home he huffs a bit out of breath. He grabbed the door handle before full reality hit him. "Crap!" he said softly. 'I should have went home with Darius.... I wouldn't have to be alone.. for once...' he thinks to himself opening the door slowly and walking inside.

Darius blushed and his eyes widened as Yuji kissed his cheek and bit his lip softly and watched him run off. A frown appeared on his face once again feeling alone once more,he turned and headed down the street toward his house. He stopped at the porch and sat down rubbing his hands together,he wanted to have a friend over it would never happen like that. He leaned on the step arching his back. "why did you run off Yuji..." He whispered and closed his eyes.

Yuji walked towards his room and laid down on his bed. He stared up at the ceiling. "I wonder what your thinking right now. I'm no longer myself because of him." he grumbles but he wasn't upset. He wasn't thinking how he normally would be so this was all new. Around this time he would have been studying or doing extra credit work. Yuji rolled over trying not to think about Darius. He wanted to make it seem like he wasn't interested in the other. He knew letting Darius know he was intrigued by him could turn his life upside down. "I like order! Order keeps me from losing my edge. Order equals complete control and peace. I won't falter because of him. No matter what." he repeats to himself. He does it so much that the time flew by. Yuji arrived within the next morning without gaining any sleep.

Darius soon got up and headed into his house and up to his room,before stripping and then crawled into his bed. He laid there smiling and then soon passed out thinking about Yuji and it made him feel at ease when he was sleeping. As the sun popped up in the sky he let a groaned decided to justay in bed.

Yuji glanced at his calendar. There was no school today but he still had things to do no matter how tired he was. Forcing himself from the bed, he showered and headed out into town. Sleep was threading over his very being but he fought it off to the best of his ability. Yuji wasn't one to let a little lack of sleep stop him from his tasks. He figured once he was finished he could worry about sleeping.

Darius heard his alarm going off and he grunted smacking it off and then got up out of his bed stretching,he yawned and looked at the time. He shook his head and got dressed slowly before he saw there was a message on his phone,grabbing it slowly he opened it. He read it,seeing that there was no school he sighed and slumped over "I woke up early for nothing" He mumbled and then straightened up before he walked out of his room and his house,he was going to go and have breakfast at the small cafe down the street in town. He had almost forgot about Yuji and then the image of him kissing his cheek appeared and he gulped.

Yuji was barely halfway through his to-do list when he found a bench to sit upon. He yawns softly as he couldn't think much about the things he had to do any more. Sleep had become far more powerful than his own will to continue. The bench was under a well shaded blossom tree. He closed his eyes hoping it would help a bit. Surprisingly it was right outside a small cafe in which he happened to end up.

Darius was sitting in a seat by the window and was enjoying a fresh cup of coffee when he turned and glanced outside,spotting Yuji he smiled and then sighed "I can't..." He thought to himself knowing if he asked him to join him for breakfast he would decline but he really wanted to be around this guy. Standing up he walked outside to the bench and sat beside him and placed his hand on the mans shoulder "Well..Good morning Yuji" He said with a smile not seeing he was resting.

Yuji opened his eyes a bit to see Darius. He wasn't fully aware that this was actually happening. "Hey lend me your lap for a moment." he said before laying his head upon Darius' lap. He was far too tired to comprehend that he was not dreaming but asking in reality. He laid there nonetheless feeling completely peaceful. Somehow he was hoping it wasn't just a fleeting dream and Darius was actually there when he awoke.

Darius touched his back gently and nodded watching him lay on his lap,and didn't object to him. He stood up and scooped Yuji up into his arms and shook his head,the man in the cafe watched and he told him to send him a check. He turned and headed to his house,carrying Yuji with him in his arms then pushed open his door and headed over to the couch laying him down. He placed a warm blanket over him,and then sat on the couch as well and lifted his head placing it once more onto his lap "Yuji.." He whispered softly.
