He couldn't believe it, the words that left his brother's lips shocked him really. Onyx colored eyes blinked a few times. His brother was seeing somebody and he finally decides that it was high time that him and their parents met *him*. Just, the mere mention of the words him- leaving his brother's lips shocked their mother and caused their father to look rather... Unhappy. "Hold it right there Itachi... Did I hear you correctly?". The man said in a highly displeased tone of voice. Fugaku- their father had an even deeper frown on his face than before. Well dinner certainly took an interesting turn... The youngest Uchiha thought as he watched along with his mother the interaction between father and son. "Yes father you did... And I did say "him"... ". Itachi looked impassive by his father's harsh tone. His own onyx colored eyes locked onto his father's own cold ones. Like they were judging him. "And I invited him over for dinner tomorrow night.". The long haired raven male said in a calm and preserved tone of voice. Those words just angered their father even more. The air around the dinning room table was uncomfortable. Sasuke was watching their father argue with his "favorite son" over the seer fact that he was seeing a guy. Which the young raven was unaware that it was a certain blond dobe that he knew. akiravadel Posted April 8, 2014 Share Posted April 8, 2014 They decided to come out and tell the parents. Yup. It was high time they did that! He wasn't too worried about his parents discovering he was with a man, no that wasn't the problem. The problem was he was a little older and an Uchiha. He just started college himself and this man had about seven years on him which still was in the safe zone. He honestly wondered how his little brother was going to react when they found out. This was big news and he went to school with Itachi's brother. He wondered how the relationship would change. They had been dating for some time and he brought it up about meeting his parents, well he never expected the reaction from the raven saying that he would tell his then come over for dinner the night after. Running his fingers through his mop of blond hair he fretted what would become of that dinner. "Honey your ramen is getting cold," Kushina called up to her son. Once he wondered down he cleared his throat. "Mom? Dad? I'm dating a man... and it's... an Uchiha." ___ Mikoto was chocked to say the least but he was still her son. She was just worried her husband and their son would suddenly be battling to the death, "okay so um... This boy... you know him from school? Work?" She was trying to lighten the mood even though it had turned sour rather quickly. Placing a hand onto her husbands shoulder she tried to keep him calm and to not freak out. This was going to be okay. Fugaku looked at his beautiful long raven haired wife with anger showing in his eyes. For once the anger wasn't pointed at Sasuke, much to the younger ravens pleasure. "Don't encourage him, Mikoto!" He said through gritted teeth. But Itachi ignored his father's harsh tone and answered his mother. "From school, I'm his assigned tutor... And well- we hit it off pretty well..." He spoke in his silky smooth voice, never breaking eye contact with his mother but that didn't stop his father from standing up, taking his wives hand off his shoulder and placed one hand down harshly on the table. As an even more disgusted look crossed over his stern face. "Your his teacher!? That's even worse!" The man was furious! His face was turning red due to his anger. Sasuke shook his head, man his brother was making it worse for himself. ---- The blonde haired male blinked his eyes, not really comprehending what his son had just said. But- after a few minutes went by it finally clicked. His blue eyes went wide. "Uh... Naruto... Run that by me again? Did you just say Uchiha?" Now he looked worried- not ticked off per-say but worried. The Uchiha's were well known for owning half of the city and on top of that some of them opposed to gay rights. Goodness Itachi how old is he? You two haven't been... inappropriate have you?" She looked to her husband again while she fidgeted, "now dear I worry because this sounds like a bad idea and like you're rushing into things. He might just be after you for your money and name. You don't want to soil your name just because a boy is your friend and demands more." ___ "Yes, Uchiha Itachi," Naruto nodded his head trying to keep up the confidence act. He forced a smile. "He's telling his parents tonight and I'm going over there tomorrow evening then I was hoping he could come here the night after." The blond boy sat down at the table and clapped his hands together before digging into his meal. Kushina was well... surprised to say the least. She didn't know how to respond to the new information. She knew a bit about the Uchiha's and worried this would get out of hand fast. He looked over at his wife with narrowed onyx eyes that seemed to shine with more anger than before. Another sigh was heard coming from the long haired ravens direction. He knew this wasn't going so well... "He's... Around Sasuke's age..." He muttered lowly, causing an angry bellow to come from his father and a choked coughing fit to come from said younger raven. Sasuke was drinking some water- but ended up choking on it. He placed his hand over his mouth, "H-He's around... My age?!" The young Uchiha stated in a starchy tone of voice while it came out muffled- due to his hand covering his mouth. Finally, the younger spoke up. Somebody around his age?! What the hell! Itachi rubbed his forehead with his thumb and middle finger. Dinner sure was becoming one big headache. "And what I do with him is my business mother..." He stated coolly before lifting up his own glass and taking a sip from it. "Also I am not... We have been seeing each other for five months now and I know for a fact that he could careless about my name and money... And I'm not soiling my name mother..." He narrowed his eyes at the woman whom gave birth to him. "It sure is hell sounding like it! And that young! Also you do not talk to your mother like that!?" Fugaku was furious beyond belief. He should have expected this from Sasuke... But- Itachi? Never! His hand turned into a fist on the table. His body was shaking in anger. ---- Minato looked over at his wife and blinked, oh- he knew that look all to well... And that caused him to sigh and turn his head over towards their son. "Naruto... Don't you think that.. You might be rushing into things? Like where did you meet him? And how long has this been going on for?" He had furrowed his blond eyebrows together; trying to make heads or tails of the situation at hand. "Also... Are you two... You know..." That just made him feel ten times more uneasy than before. akiravadel Posted April 8, 2014 Share Posted April 8, 2014 Listening to her eldest was like trying to follow a terrible plot to one of her soaps. So as she gathered more information if just slowly became more and more complicated. The boy was Sasuke's age that put their age gap much higher than she was okay with even if he was a girl. Then to top if off he didn't seem to care about causing a panic. Of course she loves her son but this was a bit much for them. He knew their beliefs on same sex and still he came there. She worried once of her boys would end up that way just out of spite, but she didn't expect it to be Itachi. Her world started to get hazy until she slipped to the floor fainting. It was all too much for her to handle. ____ Naruto smiled softly knowing these concerns were going to come up, "it's been five months. We talk almost every day and have been for about seven eight months now. Then he asked me out, well... kind of it was strange. We've only kissed and talked so far. Nothing serious had happened." His mother came over setting a plate of food down for her husband now, "so you're dating an Uchiha. For a while and kept it hidden." He chuckled nervously and scratched the back of his head, "yeah... Fugaku caught his wife before she could even hit the ground, one arm was around her waist while his free hand was fanning his wife. Sasuke stood abruptly when he saw his mother faint. Poor woman... "Sasuke! Get me your mother's fan!" His father yelled out an order to his youngest son who just nodded his head and ran out of the dinning room. Itachi stood up as well when he saw his mother faint. He didn't mean to do that... Fugaku, however, glared over at his oldest son with so much anger that it could scare anybody else but not the oldest Uchiha. "You see what you did! You made your mother faint!" He frowned at his father's harsh tone of voice, this so didn't go the way he wanted to... Just then Sasuke came back into the dinning room and handed his father his mother's fan. His father snatched the fan from his son's hand and started to fan his wife with it. ---- His father thanked his wife for the food, before he turned his attention once more onto his son. He than broke his own chopsticks and was about to eat his own food but- stopped and sighed. "That's a relief... Not about you dating the man and all but... Nothing happened so I'm glad for that..." He started to tap the chopsticks against his plate not realizing he was doing that. "But Naruto, you do know that its dangerous to be with an Uchiha right?" akiravadel Posted April 9, 2014 Share Posted April 9, 2014 Mikoto wasn't out for too long. She reached up grabbing onto the front of her husbands shirt, "please calm down... don't yell at him. Lets just talk through this..." She went to try to stand on her own but was still dizzy and held on tightly to her husband. "Perhaps... I need to lie down," she stated as she turned a bit more pale. This was a shock to say the least but she wasn't angry with anyone. Just surprised and wanting to figure this out with their son. ____ Naruto did notice the tapping and watched it for a moment before looking back to his dad, "dangerous? Dad I know he's popular and all but he's a good guy. I know his family is a bit against it but we talked about trying to help open their eyes." He smiled to his father. "Clean the table up... Both of you..." With that said Fugaku walked out of the dinning room carrying his lovely wife bridle style to their room. "I didn't expect this from him... Sasuke maybe but not Itachi!" His voice held a sour tone to it as he walked through the many halls inside of the Uchiha manor. Sasuke blinked and narrowed his eyes. "Why in the hell am I stuck cleaning the table with you!" He grumbled under his breath before pilling the dirty plates on top of each other while he heard a shut up coming from the older long haired raven who was helping clear the table up. He just hoped Naruto was having better luck than he was... ---- Those words caused Minato to sigh softly, still unsure of his son seeing an Uchiha much less an older man! He rubbed his blue eyes with his thumb and ring finger showing of the golden wedding band on his finger. "Kushina dear... Please help me out here..." Once in the bedroom and laying on the bed she reached up touching her husbands cheek, "please don't be angry with him. We need to talk to him about it. Maybe meet this boy and humor him, this is most likely just a phase." She worried about her husbands reaction to all of this. __ "Sorry honey he's too much like you," Kushina smirked knowing that it was mostly her fault their son was like this. Naruto looked over at his mom then at his dad. "Hey! Of course I've worried about this. Our age difference and his status but we want to give it a try," the blond boy was starting to get a bit upset. He thought they would be happy and welcoming, not questioning every decision they made. He was really worried they were going to reject this relationship. He frowned even more at her words- however, she was right... Even though he hates to admit it. He placed his large hand over her smaller one. "Fine... We'll "humor" him..." He mumbled under his breath not liking the whole idea of Itachi dating another guy- much less a much younger one. "Why do I have a feeling that I might regret this later...?" The head of the house said in a very irritated tone of voice. The long haired raven male was drying the dishes while his younger brother was washing them. It was strange really, seeing them doing dishes together... Sasuke still looked irritated about all of this. "Not that I care or anything but... Who are you seeing?" Itachi sighed for like the millionth time that night. And just when he was enjoying the silences too... Oh well... "Hmm? Your going to have to wait and see otouto..." The younger raven refrained himself from rolling his eyes, he had more dignity than to do such a childish thing. "Whatever niisan..." ---- Minato placed his chopsticks down after he was done eating only to hold his hands up in a defensive kind of way, "Alright... Alright... I just don't want you to get hurt... That's all... So... This Uchiha guy... Invited you over for dinner tomorrow night?" He then leaned back in his chair and looked at his son, never breaking eye contact with him. "But... and here is a big but..." The older blond haired male leaned forwards and placed both of his hands on the table. "You have to go with me and your mother... Other than that your not going... Unless me and her go..." He said in a stern tone of voice. Leaving no room for argument what so ever. He wants to meet this Uchiha himself and he was pretty sure so did his wife. We'll meet this boy and who knows maybe he'll be scared away by seeing your grumpy face." She giggled softly as she gently poked the creases on his brow. "Please try to not let this get you so upset," she rested back on the bed and gently held her husbands hand. "There's nothing wrong with asking them not to go public with it until we either become more comfortable or they decide it's a bad idea." ____ Kushina smiled widely at her husband she knew their son was going to throw a fit but she really did want to meet them, "I'll bring a platter, we can make an evening out of it!" "WHAT?!" Naruto leaned back in shock. "They're going to have a hard enough time meeting me! They're going to have a harder time with me bringing you guys over!" After sputtering and trying to come up with a way to keep them there he then sighed. He wasn't going to win, "alright... Let me call Itachi..." He walked from the room into his bedroom and shut the door. Pulling out his ceel phone he hoped his boyfriend was faring better than him. Hitting his speed dial he waited. XD And on top of that I was busy... Damn working two jobs...)) "... Fine... But it doesn't mean I'll like it..." He sighed softly before leaning down and kissing his wives forehead gently. Hey- Fugaku could be a softy when he wants to show it. But only around his beautiful wife. He had to be the disciplinary parent. While his wife was the more laid back one who lets things get to her easily. He guessed that's why he loved her- it was because she balanced out his strictness. The long haired raven haired male froze when he felt his back pocket start to vibrate, Sasuke looked over at his brother with a raised eyebrow up. Watching him walk out of the kitchen- okay that was weird... The younger Uchiha blinked than got curious as to why Itachi just upped and left the room. Itachi pulled out his new Samsung Galaxy S5 out and slid the green button to answer his phone. He noticed that Naruto was calling. So that must mean either it went good or bad... He hoped good. But didn't let it show on his face. "Hello Naru-kun...." The older ravens voice sounded like silk on the phone, nice and smooth. "How did it go?" Little did Itachi know that Sasuke head stuck his head out of the kitchen and- well... He looked shocked and.... Very angry. Naru-kun!? His brother was dating the- the dobe!? The younger's teeth gritted together in pure anger. Oh! That blonde moron was going to get an earful when he sees him! ---- Minato blinked and watched his son storm out of the room, he sighed softly before looking at his red headed wife. akiravadel Posted April 23, 2014 Share Posted April 23, 2014 ((I understand! )) Naruto waited for the other to answer while he called from his Galaxy S2, he wasn't a child who begged for the best phone but he did ask for his birthday for at least a phone that was a touch screen. Hearing the others voice was music to his ears. He also felt himself calming down a bit and laid back on his bed, "yeah... man just hearing you helps calm me down..." He sighed softly and closed his eyes, "it went... about as well as we expected. They're wanting to join for the dinner now. My moms already planning a dish to bring. I told them it's complicated enough with just me in the mix but them too?" The blond turned over onto his side, "how did it go for you?" ___ Kushina shrugged her shoulders, "I don't think so." That coming from a very pushy woman. She went over to start getting ready for the dish to make for the next night. She wondered how they would react to meeting them. He walked over towards his dinning table where the big blow up happened. He sat down in one of the many chairs at the very large wooden brown oak table. When he heard that his boyfriends family wants to come over made him sigh softly, "... Well that's going to complicate things indeed..." The long raven haired male heard something scrambling behind him and assumed that it was Sasuke finishing up with the dishes. He closed his onyx-gray eyes and leaned back in the matching brown wooden oak chair, the cushions were made up of red velvet. "I think I'll hold that detail from my own parents for right now... My mother fainted- me and my father got in a yelling fight.... Sasuke started to choke on his water when I told them it was somebody around his age..." He smirked slightly- that look on his little brothers face was priceless. "But I guess it's to be expected from my family..." He sighed once more while rubbing his eyes with his thumb and pointer finger. ---- Minato stood up and walked up to his wife, he wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her cheek. "Well if you say so than I'm obligated to agree then huh?" He chuckled lightly before kissing his wife on the neck and than up to her cheek. I didn't know it was going to be such a problem." The blond rested his head onto his pillow. "We'll figure it out tomorrow... how are you feeling after all that?" he chuckled softly and pulled his knees up. He felt like a teenage girl with her high school crush, and essentially he was. He felt so happy he worried about it sometimes. __ Kushina giggled and wrapped her arms around her husband and kissed him softly, "oh we'll make them like us! He spoke softly before standing up and leaving the dining room, he pushed the rice paper door off to the side and closed it behind him. His bare feet were the only thing heard upon the white marble floor of the hallway. He was heading towards the entrance way so that he could head upstairs to his own large bedroom. "Yes we will figure it out tomorrow.... And well... I'm pretty glad that I told them, I just don't know how Sasuke is going to react when he finds out that I'm dating you..." He sighed knowing that his otouto was going to be very angry with him. Not knowing that he overheard him talking to Naruto. Sasuke- poked his head out from the kitchen door and looked around knowing that Itachi was heading up to his room. So... His brother and the blonde dobe are together... Huh... His own onyx-gray eyes narrowed into slits. Well he'll just have to see how loyal Naruto is to Itachi. Ideas- and plots were running through his mind. ---- Minato chuckled lightly at what his wife has said and kissed her back while bringing her closer to his strong body. "Oh? I love the way you think my darling wife!" He laughed some more before kissing her forehead lovingly. So their going to try and make the Uchiha's like them huh? He wanted to believe this could have a happy ending where everyone was happy and nothing went wrong but that wasn't what happens in life. Nothing could ever be easy... well talking to Itachi was for him. "We'll just see how class is once he knows," Naruto chuckled. "I swear he barely knows I exist so he might not even care, or he might challenge me more, who knows." The blond chuckled softly and shook his head. His lovers brother had always been a bit of a pain in his side, they were both very handsome of course but Sasuke never took an interest so he stopped pursuing. Then he met the older Uchiha and fell head over heals for him. He wasn't the smartest guy so to have such a smart guy turn to him and call him handsome and date him made him feel like he could accomplish anything.
