He muttered out quietly as he ran his fingers over the dog's waist, letting out a soft sigh. He couldn't sleep after all. For a few hours, he just watched the other sleep, adoring the way moonlight sometimes reached his skin, making it shine, in a way. The silver-haired male let Kudo sleep peacefully, just slowly running his fingers over his hair and donw his neck, up until his hip before slowly getting back.

 

At some point, he fell asleep. It wasn't nearly as calm or peaceful as his mate's, but he managed to catch at least a few hours of slumber. The humans, in the meanwhile, were all desperately searching for Kudo. Especially the little girl, Amber. She was crying out for "Russ", rubbing her eyes with her hands to wipe away the tears. Of course, no one managed to find Kudo in the end. The family decided the dog must've run away...
