Buanna was the slightest bit disappointed when he found that Kudo wasn't in the cave. The silverette sighed quietly as he walked over to light up the fire again. He liked it when it burned all the time when he was in the cave. The wolf absolutely hated feeling cold, no matter what. He sighed quietly as he stood in front of the fire for a short while, then layed down on the comfortable furs. The silver eyes slowly close, but the last thing he saw before falling asleep was the fire. He liked falling asleep with fire in front of him... It somehow calmed him down.

His sleep was a bit uneasy and very light. His dreams were weird, some a bit frightening. The wolf turned from time to time, small mumbles leaving his mouth. Most dreams had his brother in them... Some had his brother attacking Kudo. Buanna could only watch as his partner was bitten and sratched, pieces of him slowly torn off. It truly was a frightening dream. He found that he couldn't wake up from it. The wolf's body was covered in cold sweat as he breathed unevenly, his hands gripping at the furs a little bit. For the first time, he actually looked a bit scared.

It was late afternoon already when Kudo awoke from his little sleep. Though he was a bit interested in Buanna's past he didn't want to ask the other so soon. There was probably a reason why Buanna acted like he did sometimes and even if Kudo knew if wouldn't change the past either way. He couldn't really protect the wolf so he was merely a mental support at best. But Kudo was okay with that if it meant that the other trusted him with his 'whole' self. But until then he had to try his best. Kudo guessed that he was pretty close to the other already. The dog just had to wait till the other told him himself. It may take some time but it was probably not an easy topic for Buanna to talk about. Kudo understood; there were some things he didn't want others to know either.

He released a large sigh and stood up. The sun had dried his clothes and warmed his body. It was time to return to the cave. Buanna was probably sleeping so he made a detour through the forest to get something to eat for both of them. Nothing big maybe two hares or something to fill their stomachs. His hunt went uneventful and he was only able to get one hare out of the four he wanted to hunt. So both of them had to be happy with sharing. But frankly, Kudo wasn't that hungry and Buanna probably needed more food than he. So with a freshly killed hare in his hands he made his way back to their cave.

After arriving he heard erratic breathing and the shifting of the fur. A few steps later and he saw Buanna curled up on top of the furs, sweating profusely and mumbling. Kudo laid the hare down pretty fast and made his way over to his partner. The other seemed to be having a nightmare and the dog wasn't sure what he should do. So he did the only thing that came to his mind. He laid his own hand on top of the one gripping the furs tightly and he tried to enclose the other into a hug. "Buanna, wake up. Everything is fine." he whispered into the other's ears. It was probably better if the other woke up from it instead of staying inside the nightmare.

The nightmare didn't end no matter how much Buanna wanted it to. He ended up burrying his face into the furs, his body quivering the slightest bit as his fingers clenched into the furs. He hadn't had a nightmare like this in a very long time... And it seemed to be getting worse and worse as it continued. Buanna felt like there was real blood dripping on him - whereas it was just his sweat. The scene in his mind was indeed horrible. After all, who wouldn't be frightened by the view of their loved one being torn apart by their own brother?

The wolf didn't wake up immediately when Kudo tried to pull him out of his dream. However, he did seem to get a bit less tense as he slowly began waking up. His breathing evened out slowly- very slowly, even. When his eyes opened, at first they were filled with immense fear, but... The moment he saw Kudo, the wolf pulled him into a tight hug, burrying his face into his shoulder. Just a dream... He tried to calm himself as he held his partner to himself. No one else ever saw this side of him. Ever. He didn't let anyone see him this weak...

"Stay." The only word that left Buanna's mouth through this all was this one. He was still hiding his face into Kudo's shoulder, his grip around the other rather tight. He just needed a bit of this... Then he'd be okay again. Even the dumbest person would understand that he allowed Kudo to see more of him. Maybe even more than he'd show the elder...

It hadn't worked apparently since Buanna continued to struggle in his sleep. But Kudo didn’t want to wake the other forcefully even if Buanna was hurting from the nightmare. The silver wolf had to leave the dream himself so he would be able to cope with it better. And if he had trouble to settle down then the dog would be there to comfort him if the other wanted that. Kudo noticed that it was probably better to stay silent when something like this happens or when Buanna acts like that. The dog didn't know how he should comfort the other with words so he settled with actions. At least he won't say anything wrong that might anger the other. In a sense he was socially awkward in talking when such situations should arise.

His technique seemed to be able to stir Buanna awake though. The other's breathing wasn't as erratic as before and his body in general wasn't as tense. Kudo watched when the other slowly opened his eyes and was a bit surprised when he was pulled into a hug. The dog didn't even try to pull away, he knew he might hurt the other if he did so he relaxed his own body and buried his face into Buanna's shoulder as well. "I won't leave." he whispered into the others ear. He didn't just mean right now but in the future too. After seeing Buanna like this, which was a progress, Kudo was set on staying by the other's side. Even when a time would come where Buanna might not like to have him as a partner anymore. The dog might hurt his own feelings with this but he can't let the other go. He was just that selfish. His body grew used to the warmth of the other and couldn't be without it anymore. To give the other some comfort he lifted his left hand and started to stroke the other's hair his fingers sometimes running through it. Kudo would love that sort of comfort after a nightmare, maybe Buanna did too.

Buanna let out a quiet, warm breath when the other hugged back. He sniffled quietly as he continued hiding his face, his body flinching a little bit when his hair was stroked. Soon enough, however, he relaxed into the repeating motion, finding his body slowly relaxing. He hated nightmares- even a guy like him wasn't able to take the horrible image like that and stay completely calm. The wolf's tail soon enough returned from being pressed in between his legs from the nightmare, his ears slowly lifting up. He adored having someone hug him like that... He liked it. The silverette let out another sigh into Kudo's shoulder, slowly lifting his face up to look at the other.

"Don't tell anyone." He muttered out as he pressed a small kiss to the dog's lips. He would die out of shame if the other was to tell anyone else about his nightmares... The silverette didn't let go off his partner as they both layed on the furs, Buanna's eyes fixated on Kudo's. "Thanks..." He finally murmured out as he looked away, a tiny bit of embarrassment mixed in his voice.

It took a moment or two until Buanna was completely relaxed in his arms. //It must have been a really bad nightmare. I wonder what it was about....// he thought to himself and continued his actions until the other locked eyes with him. He gladly accepted the small kiss and his partner's thanks. Kudo was happy and it showed yet again in his dog traits. He snuggled up to the other after he made sure that the other returned to 'normal'. "I won't, don't worry. Your secrets are save with me." he said with a large and happy grin. Well, it wasn't really important what the nightmare was about, it was a dream after all. They were just that, dreams and nightmares they aren't real even if they may appear as such.

It was early evening now since the sun started to set in the distance. The fire crackled in front of them. Only now did he realise that he went hunting earlier to get them dinner. Though he didn't want to leave the other's arms after this, they still had to eat to regain strength. Buanna needed more than the dog. "I caught something to eat. It's just one hare though. Are you hungry?" the red head asked his partner and turned around to make a grab for the hare that lay to his right. The dog had accepted the other's tips while hunting and his own fur was a slight brown colour. It wasn't mud to say the least. Kudo didn't want to get that dirty again so he just rolled around in the dirt for a few minutes. His red fur wasn't completely covered but at least it was now a brown-reddish colour like autumn leaves.

Buanna sighed quietly when the other agreed to keep the secret. As a thanks, he pressed another small kiss to the other's forehead before pulling him close to himself. The wolf wished they could just lay together like this, forever. He was too tired to move... Standing up, even, seemed like a very hard task at the moment. Maybe that was because he'd just woken up from a nightmare, and also from the wounds... He hoped it was nothing more. The least he needed right now was also getting sick. Buanna found the silence soothing, for once. It wasn't heavy or unomfortable, but... Relaxing, that was probably the best word to describe it. Only the sounds of the fire, their breathing and heartbeats interrupted it.

"I won't say no." He muttered out when the other said he'd caught them a hare. "Did you eat already?" He asked quietly while slowly sitting up, grunting quietly in pain as he placed his injured leg in a way it wouldn't hurt. The silverette had his eyes closed, his breathing slow and calm, but... A few drops of the cold sweat still rolled down his face, yet he wiped them off pretty quickly. The wolf opened his eyes to look at the other, reaching out to lightly touch his fur while a small smile lit up on his face. "Was it easier to hide like this?" He asked quietly, lightly stroking it to get some dirt off.

The soothing atmosphere was good for the both of them it seemed. Kudo wasn't hopeless but in most situations he had a hard time to decide what to do. For example their relationship. Both of them loved each other so it was okay right? The pack's opinion didn't matter right? It wasn't easy to say. The alpha may approve of their relationship but Kudo wanted everyone to accept them. Not just him and Buanna individual but also their being together. It made him a bit insecure but the dog was already good at concealing his emotions. Just like Buanna it seemed. Just lying together like this was enough, wasn't it?

After getting the hare he prepared to cook it on the fire. Though they were able to eat raw meat, Kudo was more than happy to have it cooked actually. It was a habit he picked up from the humans. He turned his head when he heard the grunt his partner released and answered his question "Not yet no but I am not that hungry." And then he got distracted a second time when he felt the others hand on his fur. "Uhm yes. But some of the hares saw me anyway so I couldn't get one for each of us." he said, his dog ears dropping a bit. The trip was a good one but he can only hide so much with such a bright fur colour. He guessed the only time that he would be really able to hunt would be in autumn. But it didn’t matter much, if his plan worked like he wanted it too, then he won’t be hunting often either way. Since Buanna was so good at hunting he will become the hunter of their partnership and Kudo will become the medic that treats the wounds Buanna might archive during his hunts.

"I won't eat until you do." Buanna said firmly as he looked at his partner. "Didn't I tell you already? When you catch yourself some prey, you eat what you want first. Then you give out the other parts to someone else... Or just keep it to yourself if you want." The wolf said quietly as he leaned against the wall of the cave. "If you'll get hungry later, you'll have to go and hunt again... I can go on with little food anyway." Buanna muttered out as he sighed out and closed his eyes. It was tiring trying to explain. If it was his prey, it would be different... Later on, his prey would be for both of them, so he'd had to share it properly. Then again, he'd probaly be able to get more food than Kudo... Simply because he had more experience.

Buanna sighed and shook his head at the other, supporting his weight with both hands. "The point is that you got something. If you manage to catch at least one hare, you'll be able to catch more if you train enough... Though that won't be too neccessary. What you catch now will be enough until I can go and hunt again. Then you'll be able to focus on your medic career." He said in a slightly teasing tone as he leaned closer for a light peck. "Even so, I'll always be glad to give you tips about hunting." The wolf said with a small smile as he sighed out quietly.

What Buanna said was true and Kudo still remembered when the other told him the first time nut the dog didn't really understand. He was used to sharing with others and it's not like he won't be able to survive if he just eat a bit. In a sense he was used to it anyway since he always received the scraps of others. It had been like this as long as he can remember so he was reluctant about eating a whole hare himself. But he won't be able to change the others mind probably so he decided to eat at least half of the prey and give the other half to Buanna. The silver wolf can't complain like this and both would be at least full enough to sleep the night, right? Buanna was stubborn but so was Kudo.

His hare was soon cooked and he was careful to not burn himself on the fire. Buanna was talking a bit more now so Kudo decided to listen to the other and eat his fill. Until it went to his future as a medic that is. He blushed at the other's teasing tone and coughed since he choked on some of the meat. "That's not funny." he muttered but replied to the peck nonetheless. It was a nice time, sitting near the fire and sharing a meal when the sun descended in the distance. But Kudo felt that there won't be many of these times. It was just an instinct but he was afraid what could happen sooner or later. There must be a reason why Buanna's brother appeared after all and now that they ran away from then, the other wolf won't give up that easily probably.

Before he knew it he already at half of the hare and stopped while licking his lips. "Here, I am full already." he said, his eyes daring the other to refuse. He didn't know if the other liked roasted meat since he assumed that he was one of the handfuls that really cooked their meat. But it wouldn't hurt to try.

"It is a bit funny, actually. You're gonna be the cute half of the pair... Almost like a girl." Buanna teased with a playful grin, leaning against the wall. His eyes were soft, however. "But I'm glad." He muttered out quietly, a quiet sigh leaving his mouth. "It'll be easier to live this way..." The wolf murmured out quietly, slowly closing his eyes. "I'll bring us food, and you will treat my wounds... Sounds like a really good life to me." The fire caused the cave to be lit up in a dim, red light that danced over Buanna's sharp features. Even though he did show his soft side, he was still looking the same. His eyes usually stayed sharp, his lips were thin and mostly pursed, his nose was sharp and his collarbones showed slightly, creating an almost wild-appearance for him.

A quiet sigh left his mouth when the dog gave him half the hare away. "...You sure?" He asked with a sigh, but knew from one look into Kudo's eyes that he wouldn't change his mind. So, the wolf just took the meat and began eating. It was pretty obvious just how hungry he really was from the messy way he ate. The wolf simply tore the flesh off the bone, immediately chewing and swallowing it. Half a hare wasn't really enough to satisfy him fully, but... He could go through the night with it. "Thanks." He murmured out quietly when he finished, licking his lips as he sighed and looked at the fire.

"Tomorrow you start your medic lessons, right? I hope you manage to go hunting. I'll go along, but... I think I'll only be able to give you some advices." The wolf said while motioning at his pretty much useless leg. "I need for it to heal sooner... It doesn't feel right not to hunt my own food." The silverette said with a sigh.

((Sorry, a friend of mine decided to visit without me knowing so i wasn't able to reply <.>

"Yeah, can't be helped I guess since I am weaker than you...." he said off-handily since it was the truth and the dog accepted that. No matter how much his pride wanted to deny it. "But it's not set yet that I will be a good medic so stay out of trouble please?" he asked since he can't really order Buanna to do something. No one can foretell the future so Kudo doesn't like to assume things. Neither does he like promises; the future can change a person or if there were a situation that breaks the promise. So he doesn't want Buanna to promise him anything, he merely wishes that the other will take care.

Back to the earlier statement though. Kudo was the shortest of the pack, expect for the pups that is of course. He didn't have a wild appearance since his dog race wasn't breed like that. To appeal to the human eye his race was breed small and with a cute appearance. His eyes were round and he got a little button nose. In general, his face was big roundish instead of the sharp yaw lines that he sees running around.

The dog watched the other eat but didn't bother saying anything. He guessed that the other must be really hungry. Besides they were alone so it was fine. His gaze shifted back to the setting sun. Their cave had an amazing view like this and Kudo grew to like this already. The dog didn't know why but he loved watching the setting sun, it kind of gave him a melancholic feeling. The red hues of the last sunrays turned everything in the same colour. Only Kudo didn't really change since his hair was a natural red colour.

Kudo chuckled when he heard the other talk. "Don't worry, as soon as your healed I expect you to hunt for me." he replied and laughed. The red head nodded when the other talked about the coming days. It was obvious that the dog had to get them food for the next few days so he was happy that Buanna would help him with it as best as the other can. "Don't stain it or it might last longer to fully heal." he nagged yet again but without wanting too. It was almost a reflex now.

((It's fine, don't worry ^^))

"I'm not promising anything." Buanna mumbled out with a small frown. "How can I be sure that no one will think of attacking me? I mean, I won't get into fights myself, but... If someone is gonna throw rocks at me, I won't take it." The wolf said with a frown on his face as he sighed and lightly shook his head. Really, he wouldn't just let someone make fun of him... Or Kudo, actually. If he saw, or even heard a rumor that someone was doing something bad to his partner, he was sure he wouldn't let it slip.

"I will." The wolf only mumbled out at what the other said before sighing and laying down on his back on top of the furs. He stared at the cave above his head, his lips parting a bit. "Fine, fine, sheesh.." He grumbled out as he closed his eyes and let out a quiet sigh. The wolf's body slowly relaxed, his chest raising and falling evenly as he breathed. "Come here already..." He muttered out and opened one eye to look at the other, extending one arm as an invitation to lay down next to him.

Buanna had a feeling he would sleep better with Kudo next to him. The sweet scent seemed to calm him even... And overall, feeling another person's warmth while asleep was surprisingly nice. The leg with the injury was bent slightly - it seemed it hurt less when it was like this... His expression soon softened as a small smile spread across his face. "If I'm still asleep when you go, wake me up." He asked quietly, his eyes serious.

Kudo listened silently; he knew that the silver wolf won't just take shit from anyone. In a sense Kudo wouldn't either but a medic can only heal so much wounds. The earlier fight, though it was one sided, was showing the dog that both of their lives can easily end if they aren't careful. They weren't weak but they weren't invincible either. But running away when Buanna ordered him too? No, never. The dog would rather go down fighting instead of leaving his partner behind. No. It would only make him look weak and he wasn't weak. Even if he was a dog and didn't stand a chance.........*sigh* Okay, both of them won't be able to stay out of trouble it seemed so Kudo at least hoped that nothing all too bad will happen in the future.

Kudo continued to watch the sun setting but listened to the others even breathing. The whole scenario calmed him down. "Am I annoying?" he asked bluntly without looking at Buanna. The question was asked in a rather monotone voice since Kudo was just interested. Though it will hurt to hear it from Buanna, it was something he had heard more than enough by the other pack members. You care for them and you get that. Nice, Kudo guessed there is just minimal kindness in a wolf pack even if it was natural to him. The alpha told him more than once that in the wild it's eat or be eaten, you can't expect much kindness and gratitude here. Speaking of the alpha, while looking outside he saw the silhouette of the big wolf and inclined his head in greeting when he felt the leader's gaze on him. After the attack he often saw the leader walking around the territory at dawn or in the night.

So Kudo relaxed his tense shoulders. He didn't have to fear anything here or anywhere close to their camp. So he complied with Buanna's call and crawled under the offered arm to snuggle with the other. It was weird, just yesterday he slept under large tree roots to block the wind and now he had a person that wanted to willingly sleep next to him. Even now Kudo still wondered if this may have been a dream all along. But that would be just too cruel so Kudo accepted it as the reality and a large smile appeared on his face. He heaved a relaxed sigh and mumbled a "Mhh. We'll see. You can sleep in you know." and closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep. His hands reached out to the other body and tried hugging Buanna without touching the wounds. It was a bit awkward but it had to do for now.

"Annoying? No, not really. More like you worry too much." Buanna mumbled out a reply with a quiet yawn. The wolf didn't like the tone the question was asked in at all. It seemed like Kudo had received the words 'you're annoying' a bit too often... "If someone says you're annoying... Are they really worth your time?" He grunted out softly as he pulled the dog to himself. The sileverette soon turned to his side and burried his face into the other's shoulder. "I love you, I wouldn't think you're annoying, dumbass." He muttered out with a quiet chuckle as he pulled his partner towards himself.

"I don't want to sleep in." He argued quietly, his eyes closed. "I want to at least see you out..." He mumbled softly, a soft yawn leaving his mouth. "Just go to sleep..." The wolf said with a quiet sigh as he held Kudo to himself, his arm loosely dropped around his waist. He really enjoyed sleeping like this... He was certain that it wouldn't change for quite some time.

With this thought, he slowly fell asleep. It felt nice hearing the other's heartbeat and feeling his chest raise and then fall again. He could smell his sweet scent and hear his breathing... That was all he needed to sleep calmly through the night. Only soft mumbles left his mouth from time to time. Other than that, he slept like a baby.

Kudo chuckled heartily when he heard the other's reply and confession. Right, the others weren't his friends so he should listen too much to their words. "Hehe, no not really. But I can't turn of my worrying you know? I love you too after all." he replied in the end and leaned upwards to kiss the other's forehead tenderly. Maybe he should have just gone with a direct kiss but his confession was already embarrassing enough. His tail thumped happily too and he fully relaxed in the other's embrace.

He noticed that the wolf was slowly starting to drift off intentionally. The dog himself was still very much awake but he decided to try and sleep too. He didn't want to keep the other up after all. "Mhhhm. Night then Buanna." he whispered and closed his own eyes and tried to find sleep in his partners arms. The crackling of the fire and his partners beating heart slowly lulled him to sleep. Kudo fell asleep a bit later then Buanna but he soon followed his lover.

(The next morning)

Yet again the sun was slowly rising above the earth and stirred most of the animals of the forest. Since they could see the sunset perfectly from their cave entrance, Kudo wasn't woken by annoying sunrays but rather the starting bustle of the camp. Most of the pack members readied themselves for the morning hunt. His dog ears twitched when he heard a particular loud voice, their alpha. Kudo awoke and groggily tried sitting up. Buanna's arms were still around his waist so he might have awoken his partner. But that wasn't the matter at hand. The alpha stood at the cave entrance and stared at their position. "Tell Buanna he doesn't need to hunt with us now. As soon he gets better he has to join however. Good luck with you're apprenticeship." he spoke in a low and smooth voice before leaving again. The leader didn't wait for an answer, since he wanted his orders to be fulfilled anyway. Not like it was a problem. So with a yawn he tried to wake Buanna with gentle shakes and tell him of their alpha's words and his departure for the medic cave.

Buanna grumbled softly as the other sat up early in the morning. A part of him heard a faint voice of the alpha, but it didn't really wake him. He was too comfortable to properly wake up just from that. The warmth of the dog began leaving him, though, and the silverette had no other choice than to wake up. He groaned lightly at the shake and somehow managed to open his eyes, looking at Kudo with a sleepy look. A yawn left his parted lips as he lifted himself up, lightly rubbing his eyes. "...'Gmorning..." He mumbled out quietly as he yawned again.

However, once the dog told him what the alpha had said, he couldn't do anything but sigh out. So he could have some time off? What the hell was he supposed to do with it, exactly? The wolf wasn't really satisfied with that as he brought his arms around Kudo's waist, now sitting behind him. "Did you eat anything yet?" He asked with a wide yawn as he rested his chin on the other's shoulder. He was sleepy... Still so very very sleepy...

Soon enough his partner started stirring and opened his eyes lazily. It seemed it was still too early for the silver wolf. But he insisted on being woken up so Kudo didn't feel sorry for him. The dog himself was still rather sleepy but he was able to easily ignore it until he was fully awake. That's why it was often a problem for him to go sleeping once he awoke from his slumber. He guessed it was a good trait to have in the wild. So he turned away from Buanna to tidy up the fire place. The fire died somewhere in the night but the fire place had to be cleaned if they wanted to lit another fire in the evening. And Kudo would rather do it now then later.

After successfully dumping the ashes into a little bowl that stood near them he felt two strong arms wrap around him from behind. So the other was awake......or at least up he corrected his thoughts after hearing a loud yawn near his ear. "Not yet, but I will get something and drop yours off before I go to the Aster. Why don't you sleep again until then?" the dog had to turn his head to ask the other this. And while he was able to look in the others eyes he went for a quick morning kiss before he had to leave the warmth of the cave and Buanna's embrace.

Buanna grumbled softly in response as he lightly nuzzled his cheek into the other's neck. "Might do... Waking up was a bad idea.." He mumbled with a sigh, but didn't let go off Kudo just yet. He was certainly dissatisfied with the shortness of the kiss, too. The wolf grunted softly as he moved his head a bit to catch his partner's lips back into a kiss. This one was deeper - a bit too deep to be a simple morning kiss, even. Buanna didn't do anything half-heartedly, it seemed... When the kiss finally ended, he pulled back, a string of saliva connecting their mouths. He broke it by licking his lips, and smirked. "Well, go on now." He said with a quiet chuckle as he let go and, before actually laying down, lightly slapped the other's ass.

As the wolf layed back down on the furs and closed his eyes, he let out a content sigh. It was too hard to always be serious and mean, and evil-looking and... Well, the him that most knew. There were times when he honestly just wanted to be carefree, and loving, and so very much not like how people are used to. He thought it was weird, actually... When he was a teen, he was indeed very cold and harsh, but here... Well, the pack was completely different, so it was understandable, probably.

Kudo wasn't able to break free of his lover's arms however since they tightened after his little morning kiss. His head was yet again turned when Buanna leaned in for a deeper one. He made an annoyed sound at being pulled back but soon moved along with the other's lips. It wasn't a mere peck so it was hard to just go after that but he had to, so he soon ended the kiss. He pushed the other away lightly and stood up before the other had a chance at stealing another kiss. He wouldn't have thought that the other would slap his ass again though. Twice now and the dog guessed it would happed more often in the future. "Cut it out and go back to sleep. Here I think you are sleepy and then you do this, pervert." he stated before poking the other in the side lightly. Buanna might be able to handle more but Kudo was rather careful with the wounds at the moment. It was one thing when Buanna reopened them himself but Kudo wouldn't stand for it if he was the one that opened them up again.

"I'll see you later. It might take some time." he stated yet again before making his way out of the cave. So now he had to hunt for both of them. The dog was sure that he wouldn't be able to get anything larger then a hare so he settled for that prey. One for each of them should be enough until the hunting party returned. Kudo was sure that Buanna would be able to get some leftovers from them if he was still hungry. So he set out to the opposite side of the woods since he wanted to avoid the other hunters of their pack.

Buanna chuckled quietly watching the other go with a lazy expression. "I won't apologize." He murmured out with a smirk. "You've just got a really nice ass." He said bluntly, chuckling quietly at the other. Kudo was cute when like this - though he was even cuter when embarrassed. "Besides, I am a bit sleepy... That doesn't mean I can't show my love for you~" He teased with a wink as he rolled onto his stomach, his smile softening a bit. "'Kay... Good luck then." He said as the dog left, leaving him alone again.

The silverette closed his eyes, placing his head on his arms like on a pillow. He soon fell back asleep, so... He missed a certain someone sneaking into the cave. The nasty fox. He did feel the scent, and it soon filled up his dream, causing him to growl out quietly. The fox didn't seem to be in a hurry, however. She took her time looking around before finally settling down next to Buanna. "...Your father sent me, y'know." She began quietly, sighing as she leaned back and closed his eyes, since the wolf didn't seem to be waking up.

Kudo cursed lightly under his breath to what Buanna had said. One moment he acts like that and the next he is spouting embarrassing things. It might be the truth of course but the dog just isn't used to it. But well, Kudo had to accept that part of Buanna too. And it wasn't really a bad part either, he merely complained about a part that is really nice actually. At least the other showed like this that he still cared. When Kudo remembered other pairs it wasn't like this. Some were paired up because they had to or else they wouldn't be seen as full-fledged pack members. Love was a side product that sometimes happened in these situations but most of the time the pairs didn't really love each other. A bit sad but that's how it goes the dog guessed. Sometimes, wolf antics were still a mystery too him.

So he continued his hunt. First step was to hide his bright fur again so he caked them with mud. He decided to wash his clothes again either way. After they washed them yesterday they got dirty again by his evening hunt and if he recalled right he also ripped a part of his shirt. So after washing and drying them properly, he won't run around half wet again, the dog had to stitch the little hole. But before that he had to drop of Buanna's breakfast and then make his way to Aster's den. Sounded like a good plan to him so he stood up and smelled the air for some sort of prey. It didn't take him long, in spring most animals were rather active in the morning and thus many hares were running around.

After a while he had what he was searching for. Two hares and a few herbs he found along the way. Just like the way he was, Kudo choose the smaller rabbit and put the larger one aside for Buanna. After the quick meal he started to walk back to their den to drop of the hare. After that he will have to mend his shirt and was off. He didn’t have a cleanliness streak but he did favour clean things over dirty ones.

Buanna began waking up slowly, feeling something on his hair. When his eyes opened, a low growl left his mouth and he suddenly tackled the fox to the ground. Not really a pleasant view to wake up to. The woman seemed a bit surprised, but soon let out a quiet chuckle. "You don't change at all, do you?" She mocked lightly, trying to get up, but Buanna's hold on her smaller body was too tight. He let out another warning growl, baring his sharp fangs. He may regret this later on, seeing as he could feel some of his wounds aching, but there was no way in hell he'd just let the fox go.

"What do you even want?" He asked quietly, his voice cold and dangerous-sounding. "Your precious father sent me." She said in a mocking tone, but... The words caused Buanna to loosen his grip slightly until it came back twice as strong. "You're lying." He hissed out, but the fox merely shook her head. "I'm not, you stupid thing. He's ready to take you back into the pack. Unless... You like it here?" She asked with a grin as Buanna growled again and slammed her into the floor. "This is better than his horrible pack." He said quietly, the fox left surprised.

"My, my... Did you find someone you love?" She asked with a sweet smile. "I thought we had something." She whispered out with a wink, but... Instead of reacting in any way she expected to, Buanna simply tossed her out of the cave... Quite literally.

The way wasn't long so he didn't have to walk a long way back to the camp and their den. The hare he caught for Buanna was tightly grasped in his right hand. The herbs he had collected had already been delivered to Aster with the short notice that the dog has to clean and stitch his clothes first. The medic wolf took it with humour and made a joke about it, 'Buanna being to rough to ya?' he said. If Kudo wasn't the kind and patient soul that he was he would have punched the other for that comment. But no, he still needed Aster to teach him so he refrained from doing anything physical and just sent him a glare before he left.

As soon as he arrived at their den his body tensed. Something or someone else had been here or was. It didn't smell like wolf or anything close to the animals near their camp. It reeked of fox so the dog hurried to the entrance. It didn't seem like the fox was still around and Buanna didn't seem to be hurt either. Just looking a bit....well pissed to say the least. Kudo knew the smell, the fox that they met during their first meeting while hunting. When the bear attacked. The dog wasn't dumb so he guessed that the fox was an acquaintance of the silver wolf. But he didn't want to pry so he merely made his way to his partner and sat the food down in front of him. "Everything okay?" he merely asked and looked around the cave again. No, the fox was no longer here maybe he just passed it. The foreign smell was still strong so it probably wasn't long ago. Kudo wondered what the fox wanted from Buanna. It wasn’t anything pleasant if Buanna’s body was this tense.

Buanna grumbled softly in response to the dog, leaning back against the wall with a scowl on his face. He glanced at Kudo, his sharp eyes showing a bit of anger. "Did you see her leave?" He asked quietly, knowing that the other realized the fox was here anyway. He looked away after a bit, lightly nibbling on his lower lip. He hated that fox, he did, but.. Was what she said really true? Was his father ready to take him back?.. Did he want to go back? The silverette glanced back at Kudo before letting out a sigh. "What would you do if I left?" He asked quietly, looking straight into his eyes.

Just then, he noticed the hare. No matter how serious the situation, he still had to eat. The wolf closed his eyes as he began eating the hare, tearing off the fresh meat from bones. He chewed it slowly, as if trying to get more of the taste before swallowing the bite. The silver eyes were closed, his ears standing up straight as he waited for Kudo's answers, questions, or anything he had to say in general. He wasn't too sure if he should tell him about what the fox had said...
