Of wolves and a dog (with Bellala99)

It was weird, everything was fine after they woke up today and now only a few hours later and Buanna retreated back in his shell. The dog was feeling a bit sad about it but he guessed it was okay. They hadn't been together for long so this was also one of these moments they had to get over with. Kudo was rather careful with the things he should say now though. As much as he loved Buanna he didn't know how the other would react. "No, I didn't." he answered, realizing only now that the fox was a female. He wondered what their relationship was, a fox and a wolf.....well as if he could talk. Kudo didn't leave the place where he sat down earlier. His body was naturally on defence, yet another habit.

It relaxed after he heard the other's other question though. Buanna made a grab for the hare so he relaxed further. "Well I would either follow you or...." yeah what would he do? He would love to follow the other but if Buanna didn't want it and rejected him? Frankly said he didn't know. Kudo wouldn't kill himself just for that but he will surely think twice before letting anyone even close. Thinking about it only made him sad so the red head responded with the most natural thing "We are partners, lovers if you want to call us that. Though I love living here I would try to follow you. But if you reject me then I will try to love without you again." and looked away from Buanna's gaze.

Buanna sighed out at the answer, opening his eyes slightly to glance up at the dog. He should probably tell him... His silver eyes darted around the cave as he continued eating the rabbit quietly. "If I reject you.." He repeated quietly, with a quiet sigh. "I won't reject you unless it's for the best. Which I really doubt.." The silverette began, soon finishing the rabbit and setting the bones and fur away. He looked down at his leg, pursing his lips slightly.

"Alright... I don't want to hide this from you." Buanna decided with a quiet sigh. "The fox came here to tell me something... Well, important." He muttered out, raising his gaze a bit. "You know my father banned me from the pak, right? Apparently he's ready to take me back in." He said quietly, pulling his knees to himself. "The thing is... I don't know if I want that so much." He admitted, placing his cheek on his knee. "And I don't really want to leave you either." He added before closing his eyes. "Nevermind that. I probably won't go. You should just go and focus on your lessons..." The wolf said with a slightly irritated expression. He didn't want to go back into his pack that much.

At first he was pretty sad when Buanna repeated his own words but soon after a gentle smile bloomed on his face again. He just hoped that Buanna would keep these words in the future. Though he wanted to stay with the silver head he also wanted the best for his partner. So if he would be more happy when Kudo get's left behind then so be it. It would be hollow but the dog would be able to survive.....probably. Just like Buanna he would do all in his might to give his partner happiness.

He looked up, when did he start staring at the ground anyway, and met Buanna's gaze when the other decided to talk about the fox and the meaning behind her visit. He listened to the other and moved closer towards Buanna after the other was done talking. As much as Kudo didn't want him to leave, Buanna had to face his feelings. "Do you want to return? Are you missing someone?" he asked after he settled down next to Buanna. The dog didn't know how far he was allowed to ask but now was a good time to quench his own curiosity about Buanna's past. "Why does he want you back now after banning you anyway? Can you tell me?" he asked and tried to get Buanna to look at him. The other still has his eyes closed and leaned with his head on his knees. Aster could wait a bit longer.

Buanna let out a quiet sigh at the questions he received from the dog. Did he miss someone in the pack?.. "Kudo, my whole family is there. I mean, we're all related with some bonds here, but... I don't have any blood relatives." The wolf said quietly, with another quiet sigh. "But... I don't think I want to go back... I don't think I'd be treated the same way. I was banned, so... I probably can't expect to be accepted right back again." He said with a small frown.

"I can't say someting I don't know..." Buanna said before lightly biting down on his lip. He looked up at the dog before lightly leaning against him. "I wish I knew, however. I could never understand him in the first place." The silverette said with a sigh as he closed his eyes again. "I can't help but think that the damn fox just made this all up... She always hated me anyway." He commented with a quiet huff.

"Hmm." he merely answered at the other's response. Sure, Buanna had blood ties in the other pack but that isn't what he meant. They kicked him out so Buanna should feel a bit of hatred towards them, even if they were his family right? So was there really a reason to return to them, knowing that he might be treated harshly? Was there someone who still accepted him despite his past and would take care of him? If not then Kudo was reluctant to let Buanna go. It was selfish but Kudo wanted that his partner will be happy and for that he needed someone to care for him. If there wasn't anyone in his old pack then he would love to stay by Buanna's side.

The dog let the other lean on him and rubbed soothing circles on the silver heads back. Kudo didn't know about a blood family since he lost his own. He doesn't know what it means to be exiled from one's real family so he can't say much. "Then why don't you stay here? I think most of the pack already accepted you for who you are. And I will be always here for you too...." he drifted off, his heart not yet ready to say it so bluntly but it had to be done. "....since I love you Buanna." he muttered and looked in the opposite direction. It was the truth but it was still embarrassing. Buanna reduced him to a wimpy female apparently. And he hated that so he released a large sigh. "Maybe she speaks the truth. She probably risked much in venturing into a wolf camp. And I think she wouldn't do so if she merely told a lie." he told Buanna his own deduction. It might be wrong since he doesn't know the female fox but that's what Kudo would think. If someone of the pack found her she would have been killed probably. Most of the pack might be hunting but there is still a hand full of them walking around.

Buanna's mood seemed to lighten the moment he heard Kudo's words. 'Since I love you'. Those words repeated a few times in the wolf's mind, making him smile warmly. He turned to his partner and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek before actually answering. "I think I'll stay here. Especially if you weren't lying right now~" He teased with a quiet chuckle as he relaxed into the soft touch on the back of his head. Now that really felt nice... He barely held in pleasured grunts and groans as he stretched his neck out a bit, his eyes closed in bliss. He rarely ever got to experience anything like this.. It really felt good.

As Kudo continued talking, Buanna was barely focusing on what he said. This kind o relaxation was the shit... A soft, content sigh left his mouth as he forced his eyes open, letting out a satisfed hum. "You might be right..." He didn't even bother to argue. His lips sayed parted as he leaned into Kudo's touch a bit more, letting out a pleasured groan. "God this feels good..." He muttered out with a sigh as he reached and pulled Kudo's hand away, kissing it lightly. "But nevermid... You should go, don't make the beast angry." He said with a smile as he pecked Kudo's lips softly.

Kudo grumbled when he was reminded of his confession but was happy that Buanna wanted to stay with him. "As if I would lie about that...." he muttered and continued his actions after noticing that the silver wolf really enjoyed it. Along the way he noticed that Buanna stopped listening to him even though he answered some of his partner's questions. But oh well, maybe that was for the better. At least he was also able to make his partner happy, even if it was just with rubbing circles on his back or whatnot. Buanna seemed to relax due to this and become a bit cuddlier too. So it was a little bonus for the dog.

His hand was soon snatched however and his knuckles were lightly kissed. "Mhhhm, I’ll just have to say that you’re at fault." he said jokingly with a chuckle and returned the little peck before he unwillingly stood up from the ground. "So what are you doing when I’m with Aster?" he asked his partner and looked down to the silver head. Kudo was just curious since it will probably take some time to finish today, it being the first lesson and all.

"Don't do that! I get the feeling he already doesn't like me, this'll make him hate me." Buanna said childishly as he held Kudo's hand. He only let go of it as the dog stood up. The silverette smiled lightly at the other as he leaned back against the wall. "Hn? Oh, I don't know... I think I'll go and see if anyone can teach me something about the herbs." He said with a light smile. "I think it'd be useful to know something about them."

After a short bit of thinking, Buanna stood up and walked next to Kudo. "Might as well go right now." He said with a chuckle and pecked his partner's lips. He already had someone in mind, actually.. An elderly female wolf - if he remembered.correctly, her name was Ellen... Elleanor, perhaps. She was one of those few who genuinly cared for both Buanna and Kudo. The wolf often went to her to talk, or eat something. He was certain she'd know a lot about herbs...

Kudo laughed at Buanna's declaration. It was true that Aster seemed to not like him very much but it was probably just their imagination. Even though the dog knew the medic for a long time now he still couldn't really figure out Aster's personality. At one point he is all nice and stuff and in the next he just glares at you. A bit weird but Kudo came to love this weird personality of his. The brown wolf was almost like a big brother to him. And not just because the other cared for him since he was a medic. Aster often shared his food with the dog when he was little. After he reached a certain age however the other taught him only the basic stuff of hunting and since he was a medic for a reason it was really just the basics.

"Sure. When I get better I can teach you too." he said with a large smile and waited till Buanna stood up. Both of them made their way out of the den and walked towards the camp centre. Kudo didn't know who Buanna would ask but he guessed he didn't need to know. Buanna might want some freedom too. Else the dog would feel like a nagging but also annoying mother. He didn't need to know what Buanna did 24/7 so he didn't bother asking. The red head returned the peck and stopped short. They had to go separate ways now so he turned to his partner. "Till later then. I would like to go hunting after my lessons, care to help me?" he asked with a chuckle. He knew that the silver wolf can’t hunt because of his wounds but the other did offer his advice when hunting.

Buanna smiled at Kudo and what he said. "I think.learning from you would be easier, y'know." He said with a light chuckle. As they walked towards the camp center, the wolf didn't hesitate to put his arm around Kudo's waist, lightly pulling him.closer. While he did have some trouble with walking, he could at least still display his affection towards the other. His fingers began tracing over the dog's waist, soon slipping underneath the shirt to carress the skin here - the silky, smooth feeling truly felt nice... Buthe was forced to stop soon, seeing as they had to part ways now. "Sure, I already said we'd go." Buanna answered with a light grin as he leaned in for a parting kiss. "If I'm not back in the cave when you're back, just wait a.bit." He said with a smile as he gently brushed a hand over Kudo's hair.

The rest of the day passed rather quickly for the wolf - Elleanor taught him about the basic medical herbs he could use while on hunts, how to apply them and such. For now, he would be able to slow down the bleeding, or at least he hoped he would. Buanna slowly got back to the cave, carrying a hare he got from the others in his hand. He figured it was best to get something from what everyone got rather than wait for Kudo to do so. He didn't really doubt the other that much, but he was hungry already... And he couldn't hunt himself.

During their way towards the camp centre Kudo couldn't suppress a small shudder when he felt the other's fingers wander over his skin. Though it felt nice, the dog was still unused to be getting affection though he didn't mind showing it himself. It didn't take long for both of them to stop though and the arm that was draped around him left. But he got a parting kiss in replacement to that so it was okay. "Okay." he replied and leaned into the hand brushing his hair. It felt nice like everything Baunna did.

So he continued to Aster's den and his lessons begun. He was taught about a bit more advanced herbs and how he can handle them to make them into medicine. With this he can create a little medicine deposit for their own den. It would probably be handier to treat the little wounds in their den himself. It was easier and didn't bother anyone. The lesson was rather long since Aster had a large assortment of different herbs and there were different combinations to make different medicines. It wasn't as hard as Kudo thought it would be, it was probably his destiny to learn to be a medic. The dog was interested in the different combinations and what medicine he could create with this. Truly fascinating.

Aster had to literally kick him out of the den. Or else the red head would have continued to study. While walking back towards their home it was obvious that the dog was happy. His tail wagged without reason and he carried a large smile on his face. Before he could get even close to the den however he was stopped by some kids. "Hey Kudo. Come play with us." one of them asked a dark coloured one. The other was a light brown and he remembered them as the kids he often played with. "I'm sorry guys. I have something to do." he replied and his ears dropped after seeing the saddened expressions of the two kids. The wolf children seemed to love playing with him; they didn't judge him for what he was thankfully so he had a hard time to refuse. That's why he agreed with a sigh. "Okay, but not long." and soon enough he was jumped by two little pups and laughter grew in volume. He had to make sure to go back to the cave in time. Kudo didn't want to have Buanna waiting for him.

Buanna slowly walked inside the cave, settling down on the furs to eat his hare. He was glad he could even get it, actually... He was pretty sure that he wouldn't be allowed to take anything, seeing as he was unable to participate in hunts..Guess the alpha told everyone the reason.he wasn't able to do so. He was glad in a way, but also not really. After all, not everyone had to.know of his past..

When he was done eating and Kudo still wasn't back, he decided to go search for him... And it seemed to be the right choice. The wolf let out a sigh as he leaned agaist a tree, watching the dog play with pups. "Hey, let's move out." He called out, first getting the attention of the pups. "Buanna!" One called out happily and ran towards him. The silverette crouched down to greet him - he loved kids for this reason... They didn't judge anyone for anything. He often taught them various things about hunting and so on - it was fun, in a way.

It wasn't good but soon enough Kudo was engrossed with playing with the pups. These had been the only time where he could freely laugh till now. It was fun and a bit addicting, the children didn't judge they merely wanted to play and it was refreshing for the dog so he often found himself being surrounded by pups and playing with them. These weren't his children but they seemed to have taken a liking to the dog since they always seeked him out when they wanted to play with someone bigger. So he was too engrossed to notice that a lot of time had already flown by.

The red head was only reminded when his ears picked up Buanna's voice. One of the pups ran towards his partner and the other was draped on his back, they play fighted and Kudo had to play the bad bear. So he stood up and walked towards his partner. "Eheheh. Sorry." he apologized with a chuckle and crouched down so the brown pup that was hanging from his neck could drop down to the ground. "Aww. You have to go already?" the little one asked and Kudo apologized. "Maybe we can play some other time again." the dog offered though he wasn't sure when that will be. As much as he would love to play with the pups, he had lessons to attend and go hunting for a few days till Buanna got better.

Buanna rolled his eyes when Kudo apologized. "Sorry won't get me shit. I already ate, by the way, since you were awfully late... But you'll still go hunting. Maybe you'll catch enough for us to last 'till morning." The wolf said, gently ruffling the pup's hair before standing up straight - as straight as his leg let him. The silverette watched quietly as the dog said his goodbyes, then lightly wrapped an arm around his waist and sighed. "You shouldn't make me wait..." He murmured out and pressed a kiss to his cheek before waving the pups goodbye. They could play with them someday later.

Buanna led Kudo into the forest, the arm loosely around his waist. "Hmm... Wanna try catching a deer today?" He asked with a carefree grin, pulling the dog closer as they passed a few other wolves. He could become over-protective very easily... Just as he could become jealous. He was sure to hold Kudo to himself as much as possible... And even more. If he could, he wouldn't ever let go, but he knew he couldn't always look after him... It'd become annoying to both of them.

"Yeah. Just couldn't say no to them. I'll try to decline next time, I promised you after all....." he said with downcast eyes. It wasn't in his nature to forget promises but he just didn't want to go yet and forgot the time. Next time he will be more careful and maybe decline but he wasn't sure if he could do that. As much as he hated it, it was hard for him to say 'no'. Before he can even think about it he says something like 'yeah' or 'sure' and then it's too late to decline again. Curse his good and maybe even foolish nature. But it seemed like Buanna didn't really mind all that much. Sure he was a bit angry but it seemed that he easily forgave him for that, if the kiss on the cheek and the hand around his waist meant anything that is.

Soon enough they were walking out of the camp, the silver wolf's arm still around his waist. Kudo nodded to the asked question and replied "Sure, I want to get better after all. Will one deer be enough for both of us?" he asked the other. The dog didn't know much about hunting obviously so he didn't know how many wolves were able to eat from a deer. Kudo always got the scraps that were left so he didn't know who else ate from the deer. If his own stomach was anything to go by then only two or three wolves can eat the deer and be completely full. So maybe it would be enough for both of them. They passed by other wolves of the pack and he felt a light pull from his counterpart. It wasn't like Kudo minded the other's possessiveness it was rather refreshing actually but Buanna doesn't need to be protective near their pack. Though he was often bullied it wasn't like they did it every time. Over the years he didn't even care about it that much. It was just a part in his everyday life. But that will probably change now since a new part of his life started.

Buanna grunted quietly at the question, closing his eyes as he nodded. "Should be enough if it's big enough." He answered quietly as he held Kudo to himself. If the dog managed to hunt down a male deer, that would definitely be enough for both of them, and there would be some left for breakfast. The idea of how happy his partner would appear if he managed to catch it suddenly came across the wolf's mind - Kudo always looked cute when he was happy... Not that he'd actually admit it to him. No, that was kind of like a small secret.

As they walked into the forest, Buanna's arm slowly loosened around Kudo's waist until he finally let go. Pushing his hands into his pockets, he began limping further into the forest slowly. "Do you smell anything?" He asked quietly as he pushed away the branches from his way. The silverette closed his eyes when they reached a small clearing, raising his head up a bit. His silver eyes slowly closed as he began sniffing the air, hoping to find some prey. He knew that in this area his brother or anyone else would reach them.

As much as he could actually pick up, there were a few hares around, and a small group of deers - maybe two or three, at most. His eyebrows furrowed a bit when he picked up another scent - a moose. Could they even hunt it down? He could bet the meat would last through the whole tomorrow as well. As his eyes opened again, his lips curled out into a small smirk. "Do you smell that? Something a bit... Bigger."

They soon reached the forest's edge and the end of their safe camp. Kudo was reluctant to go hunting that far into the forest again. Though the alpha always did his rounds Buanna's brother could still be lurking around. But Kudo told himself to stay positive. He just can't fear for their life every time. The dog had to learn positive thinking or else he will just cower in a corner because he is afraid of everything. He absentmindedly shook his head at that. That wasn't a life fighting for at all. The other's arm soon left his waist and Kudo was free to walk around freely again. Even before his partner asked the dog had already raised his nose into the air and took a whiff.

They continued forward and soon reached a clearing before they stopped to assert the situation. "I smell, a few hares and a pair of deer’s....." he reported and concentrated again. Until he heard the silver head's question. Something bigger? Hmmm, now that Buanna spoke of it there was indeed a different smell. Kudo wasn't able to identify it though. "I smell something yes but I don't know what." he admitted. Kudo never ate moose flesh since the pack usually hunted for deer’s. And a moose was already rather rare in their part of the forest. But it was worth a try.

Buanna nodded slightly as Kudo listed what he could smell. "Good, you can smell the basic things at least." He commented quietly, his weight on one leg - if he was to be attacked, he'd probably die. The wolf let out a quiet, satisfied breath when the other said he could smell something else. "Fantastic. That's a moose. Ever seen one?" He asked with a slight grin as he began moving towards the direction the smell was coming from.

"You have to be careful of its horns..." The wolf muttered out quietly, beginning to lower himself into the bushes. "You're going to do all the work this time. I'll try and distract it a bit, and then you first bite its legs, to hopefully make it lose balance... Then I might be able to help out with finishing him off." The silverette explained quietly as they reached the majestic creature. Motioning for Kudo to quickly go to the other side, Buanna began sneaking towards the moose. It didn't seem quite aware of the wolf yet - there was no wind, after all. Suddenly, he let out a loud growl and purposelly missed as he went towards the animal. Frightened, it began dashing towards Kudo.

"No, haven't seen one yet. Are they usually in this area?" he asked the other, more experienced hunter. They were usually not really around here, especially in a clearing as open as this one. In a sense it was strange. How did the animal arrive here? Their alpha told him once that bigger game was higher up in the mountains but that territory belonged to another pack so they couldn't hunt openly there. So why was a moose that usually stayed near the mountain climb down to a clearing? There had to be some kind of reason. Maybe they didn't find food on the mountain? But it was slowly turning spring so the snow melted and they would have enough food again.

He didn't dwell longer though. They were hunting right now so they didn't have to know the reason as to why a moose walked into their teritorry. Buanna made himself ready to scare the moose into Kudo's direction so the dog readied himself too to bite said animals legs. He didn't make it far however, as soon as he arrived behind the moose and tried to run towards it, a sharp pain exploded in one of his legs and he fell to the ground. The moose was still dashing towards him and he would have certainly been stomped to death by the bigger beast if it weren't for a loud shot that rang through the clearing. The proud animal that once dashed towards him fell lifeless to the ground. Kudo stared, not believing what happened. The pain in his left food was still prominent so he turned to see what happened to it.

Something shiny was biting him with rows of sharp and silver teeth. It was foreign and no animal. It reeked of death. He tried tugging his legs free but he only whimpered after doing so. Blood was flowing from the wound and his tugging only tightened the fangs of the thing. And what was that loud sound and why did the moose collapse in a lifeless heap? Kudo was confused and scared. He never saw something like this. He tried to howl for Buanna. The tall grass made it unable for him to see over it, he was really scared.

Buanna failed to understand what happened at first. His eyes widened at the loud shot, and he felt his body freeze. He wanted to run away. This was something he'd heard once before - those were human guns... The wolf seemed scared as he looked around before hurriedly dashing towards Kudo. He left the moose alone, falling on his knees next to the dog. "Shit..." He hissed out through his teeth as he tried to open the trap, his breathing shaky. "J-Just stay still!" He said quickly, his hands beginning to shake as he tried to desperately get the other's foot out of that thing.

It seemed that he was too slow.

One second he was still trying to get Kudo out of there, and the next one something sharp piereced into his neck. The wolf let out a quiet whimper as he stumbled backwards, his eyes going hazy. What was that?.. Sleepiness began taking over him as he realized he was losing consciousness. There was a small dart sticking out of the back of his neck - seemed like he'd been hit by some sedatives. Humans... Truly had some dangerous weapons.

As his body fell limp to the ground, the last thing he managed to catch was a pair of humans going towards Kudo. "Hey, look, that's a dog isn't it...? Wait, isn't this Benny?" One of them said as he leaned down to Kudo and reached out to pet his head. "Get him out of that, and put that thing into the van. I'm sure the zoo'll pay us some cash for a catch like this." The other added with a wide grin on his face. "Y'know, that really looks like Benny...."

It wasn't long for his partner to arrive next to him. It calmed Kudo down a bit but it didn't make his nervousness go away since Buanna himself also seemed scared of what happened. The other tried to open the thing's jaws around his leg and Kudo only fisted one of his arms into the other's clothes. His ears picked up footsteps and his body started shaking without him wanting too.

He only looked back towards his other half when he felt the other's hands leaving him. Buanna's body swayed and soon collapsed too. Fear and panic build up again, what if the other was dead too like the moose? He hadn't heard a shot but the other fell without any reason. "Buanna!" he shouted and tried to reach for the other's body. The trap limited his movements however and the silver wolf’s body lay to far away.

His head turned speedily around when he heard foreign voices closing in. Humans were drawing closer and one tried reaching for him. Out of fear and panic he growled and tried to bite the offending limb. The human pulled his hand away in the last second however and cursed. "Damm dog tried to bite me. Are ya' sure that's the dog that went missing?" one of the hunters spat to his comrades. The hunters tried to take Buanna away from him and growled and snarled at them. The previous owner of the missing dog called ‘Benny’ apparently mistook him for said dog. At least Kudo could understand the human language, even though he doesn't know why. "Aye, the mutt isn't Benny but he sure as hell was bred like a hunting dog. I guess I can train him further and if not we will sell him to some family or something." Benny's owner said and pulled a syringe out of his backpack.

Kudo tried to fight against him but his moves were limited and he soon felt the needle making contact with his body. His vision started to blur and his growls and snarls returned to whimpers. The pain lifted from his foot and the dog closed his eyes to be welcomed by darkness.

The two hunters talked amongst themselves for a while before deciding to just get the van here to get both the moose and Buanna with Kudo. All three animals were layed down on the ground, Buanna tied up so if he woke up he couldn't attack anyone. Kudo, on the other hand, just had a collar and a metal muzzle on. After a while, the men came back in the hunting van. The moose was lifted into the back first, the wolf and dog following after that. What they failed to notice, however, was the fox observing everything from the bushes. The pack would know of this... Just, would they do anything?

Firstly, the hunters stopped in the zoo, one of them carrying Buanna out. He was still fully asleep, but the needle was removed... As well as all of the bandages. The wolf's wounds were visible clearly, so the price the hunters got was way less than for a healthy male. Buanna was placed into a big cage with other wolves, where he seemed to be simply ignored at first.

Kudo, however, was taken to a place he could be trained at. He was lifted out of the van as well and given to the man who trained dogs for hunting. He seemed rather satisfied with Kudo - and so were the hunters, seeing as they got quite a lot of money for it. The red-haired dog was carried off to a room where at first he was simply placed on an old matress and a bowl of food and water was put in front of him. The muzzle was removed and he was left alone for the moment - well, with another dog. The one was an elder, no longer good for hunting, but he still stayed here.

Kudo didn't remember what happened after that, just that he woke up to a rundown room on an old mattress. There was another dog at the other end of the room that simply looked towards him. When the shiba inu opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was the dirtied white of the mattress. It was hard for him to raise his body, his leg still hurt but it was bandaged up somehow. His vision was still a bit blurry so he didn't move much. After a few minutes he was able to see clearly and felt less weakened. The dog raised his body and started growling defensively when he saw the other dog. He didn't know where he was or what happened and he wondered what happened to Buanna. His hackles raised and he tried to shuffle into the corner of the room. "Where am I?" he questioned the other with a guarded voice and looked around slightly. He didn't let the other drift out of his sight however.

Today had been a good day so far, like any other actually. Anni looked towards her little pups. They were playing among their self and their father, Anni's husband, was out to get the food that was offered by the humans. But instead of food, they received something more surprising. Another wolf, silver in colour and with wounds. Something rang a bell inside her head. The other was somehow familiar. It had been a few years now, since she was caught and put into the zoo. She accepted that fact and even started a family here but now a reminder of her past showed up.

Her legs carried her to the sleeping form of the stranger and she sniffed him first. "Buanna?" she asked, horrified and tried to get a better look at the other. Her husband, Troy and her little kids Mink and Fay were looking at her from a distant. Troy was a bit on edge since the other was a stranger and might hurt her but she seemed to know him so he kept calm and tried to hinder their children from following their mother.

The elder dog, Ace, let out a quiet sigh as he saw the youngling wake up. "Stay still. You'll hurt yourself." He mumbled quietly, blinking lazily as he stretched out in his bed. His white hair was falling into his eyes slightly as he observed Kudo. "You're with humans now. This is a place where you will be trained to hunt." He explained quietly as he sighed out and slowly stood up. The dog walked towards the younger male, then slowly sat down on the matress. "What is your name?" He asked, his eyes surprisingly warm. The dog was used to newbies coming in here, but none seemed to be like Kudo... He smelled of wolves.

Buanna couldn't tell the difference between left and right as he was now. He was slowly regaining consciousness, but the wounds felt so goddamn painful... As he tore his eyes open, something appeared in his vision. Was that another wolf? His instincts rose up and a low growl left his mouth as he backed away only to let out a loud whimper. Some of his wounds had opened up again, probably because of all of that tossing and turning, as well as carrying him off.

As he looked better at the unfamiliar wolf, he tried to blink away the haziness in his eyes, when suddenly... "Anni?" His voice was full of disbelief as he stared at the female, his jaw dropping slightly. This... He remembered her... The wolf let out a quiet sigh as he looked away, pursing his lips slightly. "What is this place?" He questioned quietly, trying not to show how bad everything hurt.

Kudo retreated further into the corner when Ace got closer but winced when his wound started to sting. It was nothing big but it still hurt, the bandages were coloured in faint blood. The shiba inu was unsure of the other, he seemed to belong to the humans and did he just say that he will be trained to hunt? "No. I won't hunt for the humans. I will just be taught by Buanna or the others of the pack." he denied vehemently and shook his head. Even if the humans tried forcing him he wouldn't yield. He would never hunt wolves with the humans. Though he forgot most of his childhood, he still remembered what it meant to be a hunting dog. His core was trained as one but his heart did not want to follow. Just to feel safe he started growling lowly again to get the other to back away. He wanted space to process everything. He didn't give the elder dog his name. He just hoped Buanna is alright. Oh how he wished that he could see him.

Anni was startled when Buanna tried to move away from her and even growled. But she understood. She was like this at first too. She was once a free wolf as well. So she tried to help the other sit with his wounds when the silver wolf remembered her apparently. "Yes. It's me. Get a healer please, Troy." she shouted the last part to her husband. They couldn't bandage Buanna since they didn't have any but they made up for it. The humans, intentionally or not, planted some herbs and healing plants that were able to be converted into an ointment that was acting like a bandage if it wasn't licked off or washed off.

To help him understand the situation he was in, Anni replied with an honest voice “The humans captured you. They put you into something they call a zoo. Humans come and watch our daily lives behind the bars-“ she started and pointed to the humans that stood a few meters above them with a small metal fence for safety measures. “there is no escape sadly, but we get food and everything daily. And no other packs are a danger to us.” she finished. It wasn’t freedom but it was also a good way to life in her opinion. They just couldn’t hunt since they already got killed food.
