Ace's face turned completely emotionless as he watched Kudo quietly. "Shut up already." He said in a colder manner as he stood up again. "Either you obey the humans or you end up somewhere else. It's as simple as that." He said quietly and turned away from the younger dog. Just then, a human walked into the room with a small smile on his face. "Well, Ace, have you been nice to the new guy?" He asked as he patted the said dog. The man then turned to Kudo and crouched down next to him, reaching out to him. "You seem like a good material..." He murmured, as Ace tossed a cold glare at the young dog. The man had light brown hair and a stubble, he seemed to be muscular as well. He motioned to the food and water with a light smile. "Eat. Now... What should I name you..." He trailed off with a serious expression as he thought, his hand nearing to Kudo's head.

Buanna barely fought back the desire to just push Anni away, but he couldn't. This girl always helped him out, even when they were little... She was like his bigger sister. A real one. Much better than his brother... "You have healers here?" He questioned with furrowed eyebrows. That sounded weird, to be honest. Healers in such a place... He doubted that they even got proper food. Did the humans allow them to catch something by themselves or did they have to kill one another for food or something?

"That's sick." Buanna grunted out at what Anni said. "Humans are sick." He hissed out. The wolf let out a quiet groan as he leaned back against the fence, his eyes closing. "How can you live in here?..." He asked in a somewhat shaky voice as he let out a sigh. "This sounds horrible. I don't want to be here. I want out of here... I had a partner. Where is he?!?" He suddenly asked, his voice loud. His eyes shot open as he looked around, fear rising up. Was he killed? Did they not need a dog or something?

Tears threatened to fall but he held them back. No, even if he would be brought somewhere else he wouldn't hunt wolves or others because of that. The pack took him in even thought they knew of his family background and in someway he wanted to repay them. So even if he would get hurt or something, he wouldn't hunt those that spared his life. He continued to shake his head in denial at the old dog. Kudo guessed that he couldn't do much in the situation he was in but he could still refuse. He might not be able to bit the humans but he was still able to ignore most of their orders. Talking about humans, one opened the door and stepped into the room. Kudo's body tensed out of reflex and he tried to make himself smaller.

The shiba inu saw the cold glare he was sent by the other dog, so he decided not to bite the offending limb that tried to pet him. Even though he badly wanted to, not just for his sake but for Buanna's he had to get through this. He still shied away from the hand that wanted to pet his head. His eyes were wary and his ears dropped low, low growls rumbled in his throat. He didn't want to eat or drink, at least not when the human was still here. And how dare the human think he could name him. He had a name already but of course he can't tell the human. The situation was stressing him but it had to be done. He can't fight back with his body but he could at least fight back mentally.

Anni was delighted that the silver wolf calmed down and started asking about her home. "Yes we have them but they are rarely used since the humans tend to take care of our wounds." she admitted. Frankly, she didn't know why the humans didn't treat Buanna but that's why a few healers were still around in case something like this happened. In a sense they were well cared for. They got food that they didn't have to hunt, they were cared for when they are sick and the humans rarely stepped into their daily lives. Just the humans on top of the small cliff where staring at them now and then.

The black wolf didn't reply to Buanna's statement that humans were sick. They were to her once too but she started to live with that. There was no escape so you just had to accept a few things. "Once you grow used to it, it's not that bad." she said with a sad face. She wanted to show her pups the large forest and the freedom that she once had but there was nearly no hope left in that wish. It was just not possible to escape. If you did manage to get out of this cage then they would hunt and catch you again.

She was startled yet again by the silver wolfs outburst. "W-what? You had a partner? If she's a wolf than she will be brought here soon probably." she answered, a bit disbelieving that the Buanna got a chick. She just assumed that it was a she since Buanna was rather......special. She didn't hear that Buanna said 'where is he' but frankly she didn't care much what gender her 'brother's' partner was, as long as he was accepted by the other party and they were happy. The healer soon closed in and tried to treat Buanna.

The male human let out a sigh as he gently patted Kudo's head, a soft smile spreading on his face. "There we go... See, I don't mean harm~" He talked in a voice people usually talked to little puppies or kids. The man seemed to be quite kind - at least to dogs. However, when the red head growled at him, the man could only let out a heavy sigh and stand up. He leaned closer to him and gripped the collar, dragging him up in a bit of a harsher manner. "Time to train, huh?" He asked with a sweet smile as he held the collar tightly.

Ace was watching everything with cold eyes before slowly walking out through the door that was left open. It seemed that the elder dog knew his way around, and the man let him do whatever he wanted, really. Ace had earned his trust a long time ago. "Alright, now you... You're going to be Russel." The brunet decided as he tugged the dog to himself. "Go on, you'll meet your new friends now." He said with a cold smile. He'd only use this until this dog knew its place...

Buanna let out a quiet, shaky sigh when the female explained to him about the medics and how the humans took care of their wounds. Like hell he would let some dirty human touch him... They were sick, they were insane! Why would they lock animals down like this?! He let out a low growl at what Anni said next. "I'll never get used to this. I will escape... Be it with you, or without." He growled out with cold eyes. He had to find Kudo, he had to make sure he was safe... He had to go back into the pack.

Buanna let out a quiet growl once more as he shook his head. "It's not a she." He muttered out at first, glancing away. "And it's not a wolf." He grumbled out coldly before looking back at Anni, as if waiting for her to judge him. "It's a dog. He was taken into the pack..." The wolf said quietly, tilting his head a bit. His sharp features were even colder than usually as he glared at the woman. "Don't you dare say he isn't worth me. Don't dare say anything bad about him." He hissed quietly.

As the medic came, Buanna simply let him treat him. As the wounds were covered with the herbs, he let out a quiet sigh and slowly stood up. He glanced towards the pups and their father, then turned back to Anni. "They been born here?" He asked with disgust as he sighed. "Do they even know how to hunt? Do they know of the forest? Do they know of what freedom is?" He questioned as pity showed in his eyes.

Kudo's ears twitched when the human started patting him. It didn't feel weird, probably because he was a dog but he'd rather not have the human touch him this familiarly. He didn't have time to show the human this though since he soon was yanked up with the collar and he winced when he felt the wound on his leg sting. The shiba inu stopped growling by now since he felt that it only brought him trouble. His ears were still in an aggressive position though. He wondered what Buanna would do at the moment. The other would probably fight his way through but Kudo didn't have much of strength to do so.

He wasn't happy with his new 'name' however. What is wrong with humans and their weird naming sense? Kudo couldn't suppress to growl in warning. He wasn't 'Russel' and he will never be. Kudo wondered why he couldn't talk to the human; the red head understood the other after all. Thinking about this right now wasn't worth it though since he was soon tugged out of the room. The other said 'friends', Kudo wondered to what extend that would be true. He got the feeling the other said it sarcastically.

---------------------------------------------

Anni only snorted lightly. There was the Buanna she knows. Never giving up, though it was probably futile. "Then I wish you luck. I....." she said, here gaze switching back to her family. It was true, there was still a wish to return to the forest but she had a family now. She cannot risk her life easily like before. She had to care for her pups. Troy was a wolf born in the zoo but he understood his wife's wish to return to her home. He was really understanding concerning that, so he always tried to cheer her up when she was sad. That was one of the reasons how they got together.

She smiled when the other talked about his partner. It was obvious to her that Buanna loved him so she didn't have to say anything. "No, I won't judge. I just want you to be happy and if he is the right one then I don't mind." she admitted with a chuckle. Though she sometimes acted like a mother around Buanna, she wasn't justified to bend his life to her liking. Buanna was already old enough to make decisions for himself and Anni just wanted him to stay safe. "Though I wouldn't have thought that you would fall for a guy, let alone a dog. Where did the proud Buanna go that I once knew?" she asked playfully, referring to the time where they both were in the same pack.

Anni was a bit angry when Buanna spoke about her pups. "No they don't and I would rather have them to know these things if that's what you’re asking. But I have been here longer than you and I know some things you don't yet. Just try to escape and then talk to me again about this." she said, slightly irritated. Though she loved Buanna like a brother, she wouldn't stand for it if he made her family seem like weaklings. They tried their best to survive her, even if it seemed futile to the silver wolf before her. Just in that moment her pups drew closer, having escaped from their fathers hands. "Who is he mum?" Mink, slightly grew in colour, asked his mother and pointed at Buanna. Fay jumped around the stranger and started sniffing him. The little boys were really curious but also a bit scared of the stranger since their mother was looking a bit pissed at the moment.

The man let out a soft sigh as he pulled Kudo out of the room and outside, where a bunch of different dogs stood. Most tossed cold glares towards Kudo, almost everyone scrunched up their noses in disgust. Wolves' smell was coming from the dog, after all. The biggest one, an Irish Wolfhound was completely black of color and currently was growling loudly at the new dog. The man shut him up by calling his name - Pagan. The male dog shut up immediately, but that didn't stop his cold yellow eyes from tossing cold glares at the shiba inu.

"Now, boys... It's time to train." The man announced, and his words were followed by several barks. Some of the dogs suddenly appeared eager - if they did well, they would often get a treat. Since he had no idea if Kudo had any practice with hunting or being trained in general, he started off with the most simple commands as "sit", "stay" and "lay down". As the man tried to make Kudo do some of these with a piece of meat in his hand, the other dogs watched in disgust. "I bet he'll fail even at the most simple task." "Why is that weakling here at all?" "What's up with his fur? He'll never catch anything like that." These were just one of the many insults coming towards Kudo.

"I won't need luck. What I'll need is a chance and abilities." Buanna answered with a scowl on his face. He may be able to escape if he healed up and got a chance when the humans came to feed them. He wouldn't hesitate to bite and then run away as fast as he could. If he failed... Well, that would be the end of it. If he didn't, he would have to find Kudo and go back into the pack.

The wolf rolled his eyes quietly when Anni began teasing him about his partner. "The proud Buanna you knew got kicked out of the pack, injured by humans and taken in by another pack." He answered quietly, his voice gaining a bit of coldness in it. She hadn't been there to see him being banned, was she? When the female got angry about her pups, the silverette simply let out a sigh and shook his head. "They deserve better than being locked down here. If I were you, I'd do anything to get them out into the forest." He said quietly before being slightly surprised by the pups suddenly running up to them.

Buanna crouched down again and reached out to lightly ruffle Fay's hair. "A friend, let's say." He muttered out as he sat back down and let out a sigh. The wolf tilted his head as a small smirk appeared on his face. "Hey, Anni... Have you told them what it feels like to hunt?" He asked quietly, his expression somewhat dreamy. "The adrenaline? The feeling you get when you succeed? The sounds, the smells, the views?.." He questioned, a small smile on his face as he let out a sigh. He wanted to at least tell the little ones about it, if they couldn't experience it themselves.

Kudo already guessed that the other meant it sarcastically. Jeers and insults flew is way when they arrived. But Kudo could care less as long as they didn't openly attack him. It would be a bit harder to accomplish this however; since the large black dog called Pagan didn't like him at first glance. The other growled loudly and the shiba inu was actually keeping himself in check to not growl back. He was under hunting dogs right now and he reeked of wolves, one of their prey, so it would be wiser not to anger them to much. Or he might regret it. His own race wasn't usually used for hunts since they were breed to appeal to the human eye. But his former family thought apparently that every dog can be a hunting dog, even if he didn't posses too much strength. Generally, hunting dogs just had to sniff out the prey and chase it until the human can kill it if it was larger. So a shiba inu was also fit for a job like this, but his race in general was at a disadvantage against the real hunting dogs. And Kudo knew that so he tried to not anger them.

The human tried to bribe him with a chunk of meat and though Kudo was a bit hungry he wouldn't take the bait. Telling him to sit or lay down, who did the human think he was? He ignored the insults and stared at the human when he tried to get him to sit down. It wasn't like he didn't know what the other wanted; he merely didn't want to do it. Call him stubborn but he didn't want to follow the human's rules. He had to think of a way to escape from this place. The problem was; were should he run to if he did indeed flee? Sadly he didn't know where they brought Buanna or what they did to him. His scent wasn't anywhere near her so it was hard to guess where they brought him. The situation was almost hopeless. But only almost.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I am sorry, I shouldn't have started. It's just that I tried once and I didn't make it. As punishment they kept me separated from this pack and well......Lets just say that I don't want anything to happen to my family. You are right, humans are insane, and that’s why they won't hesitate to kill us if we try to escape. I am just a female, Buanna, I have a family that I don't want to lose. No matter how I wish for them to grow up somewhere else." she stated and let her gaze sweep towards her pups. The wolves that were born in the zoo didn't even think of escaping since they didn't know anything else so Anni would be acting on her own. And that was too much of a risk to take for her. She would give her life to get her pups what they deserved but what would they do after that? Without a mother and a father? They can't survive alone given the background they grew up in. Though it was cruel to think so, they didn't know how it was outside of the zoo so they didn't miss it. So she was suffering alone.

She didn't get to continue however when Buanna replied to Fay. "I didn't tell them much. I didn't want to give them hope, so they don't end up like me. But I guess it won't hurt to tell them about hunting. The humans give us dead meat so we don't get much of a chance to hunt." she explained. She often told them stories about her old home but she always disguised them as fairy tales. She didn't want to give them hope for something they will probably never see. She tried escaping a lot of times before but never made it far. Once, a wolf was killed since he escaped and scared the humans on top of the cliff. She didn't want them to try anything, at least not as long as she still lived. Humans weren't merciful to them.

The man wasn't one with a lot of patience. Soon enough, the chunk of meat was dropped down on the ground as he beagn forcing Kudo to sit down. "Sit, you good for nothing!" He hissed out in anger, as the dogs around them observed. The man's eyes were cold now as he forced Kudo down - or at least tried. "You're a feisty one..." He grumbled out as he finally gave up and scowled. "Clearly, you're not one to listen, huh? What good are ya for me then?" The man questioned, as if he was awaiting for a response. He'd grown used to being around only dogs, so he basically thought of them as beings who could respond in the same language by now.

Pagan let out a small 'tsk' and slowly walked up to the man to lightly nuzzle at his leg before letting out a bark. The man caught up pretty quickly and smiled, gently patting his head. "You're right, Pagan..." He muttered out and turned around. "Well, boys. Time for some actual training." He announced and grinned at the impatient howls and barks. The man spent the rest of the training session completely ignoring Kudo, just focusing on the other dogs. He'd work with the new guy later... If needed, he would just sell him out somewhere again. He was sure that there would be families who wanted a dog like this one...

Buanna let out a heavy sigh when Anni told him about the time she tried to escape. "Well, that wouldn't be such a big problem to me. I'll get out of here somehow anyway." He said quietly, like a promise to himself. He wanted to see Kudo again so bad... He didn't know if he was even alive right now. The thought of his partner being dead brought immense sadness into his silver eyes. He had to find him... And then never let go again. His smile, his eyes, his smell... He missed everything about him. Buana wanted to feel his body against his own again, god, he would give anything to hold Kudo in his arms right now. Hell, he would live in this horrible place if Kudo was with him.

The silverette let out a small smile as he leaned against the metal fence with a quiet sigh. "Alright then... This place isn't anything where you could experience what it really feels like to hunt. When you're in the forest, you can hear everything if you focus enough. You'll hear the leaves rustle and you'll hear the steps of your prey... The smells aren't anything compared to the forest. It feels so amazing if you manage to pick up a scent of something you could catch... Say, you two ever tried to just catch a scent of something?" Buanna suddenly asked as he looked over from Fay to Mink. "Try it, maybe you'll find something interesting." He said with a smile as he sighed out quietly. He wanted to go back to the forest.

After a while the human did try to force him physically but Kudo was fighting against it. He did not growl or bare his teeth; he just let the human do his thing so he grew bored of the unwilling dog. Thankfully the brunet changed his attention from the little dog to his other hunting dogs. Kudo hoped that the other will let him be now, since he was obviously not to the humans liking. Kudo just hoped that they will bring him somewhere else instead of killing him. But he did rather die then to revert back to a dog. He grew up with wolves but was a dog. So what was he really? He learned to become a wolf but he couldn't change the fact that he was a dog. Should he act like a dog around humans or like a wolf? The first would probably be a better choice but it would go against what he learned.

While the human was training with the other dogs, the red head looked around the room and spotted the door they came through earlier. He just wanted to escape so badly. Hoping that the human or the dogs wouldn't mind so much, he started to walk around the room and sniffed at a few key points, the door and the window for example. Both options of escape were currently closed. Maybe he could open one of them without the others knowing. It was worth a try he guessed and he made his way towards the door since it was obviously the easier choice. Kudo tried to be as silent as possible and often looked backwards in case he would be spotted.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Both of the pups stared in awe at the silver wolf and listened intently. Anni only chuckled and decided to leave them be for now and made her way towards her husband. "Are you sure he isn't a threat?" Troy asked his wife and sent a glance towards Buanna. Though Anni might know him, he was reluctant to leave his pups near the stranger. "Yes. Don't worry. Though he might appear harsh at times he is nice at heart. He won't hurt Fay or Mink." she said and nuzzled the other wolf. The larger one only sighed in bliss and nuzzled back. Anni was a strong wolf but she knew when there was a chance or not. And currently there wasn't. The humans didn't come into their cage often, the food was thrown over the cliff and if they needed one of the wolves then he will separate them and put them to sleep.

"I smell....lot's of wolves." Fay replied excited at the bigger wolf. "I smell the humans." Mink added proudly and tried to be better at sniffing things out than his brother. So a little contest started between the two and the called out the things that they could smell. Most of them being flowers or other scents.

The man was busy with making the dogs pay attention to him and the dummy he held in his hand. The dummy had the scent of a dead wolf - each dog was supposed to sniff it and then the dummy would be hidden so the dogs could search for it. Seemed like each one of the "hunters" was getting excited each second about all this. As all of them got a sniff, the man slowly turned towards the door. His face was once again graced with a cold smirk as he walked towards Kudo, trapping him between himself and the door. "And where do you think you're going?" He asked coldly before kicking the dog away.

When the man left the room to hide the dummy, some of the dogs began nearing towards Kudo. "Good for nothing." One of them hissed out, baring its teeth. "You shouldn't be here." "You don't belong in here." "Get out already." One by one, the dogs all seemed to go against the poor shiba inu. Pagan was once again in the lead, growling coldly at the newbie. "If you're not going to listen to Him... You might as well serve as a training dummy." He said with a cold smirk growing on his face. "You stink of wolves anyway... What, you lived in some dump?" He mocked with a cold grin.

Buanna was actually feeling quite nice with the pups staring at him in awe like that. It made him feel like... Like some big brother. And that was definitely a nice feeling. He couldn't even fight back the smile on his face as he observed the pups. "Good job, you two." He complimented with a smile as he patted their heads. The silverette leaned against the fence comfortably, his eyes softening a bit before he glanced away. "So you two have never hunted before?" He asked softly, his eyes closing for a few moments before opening again, with some sadness in them. Usually wolf cubs would at least play-fight amongst themselves to train for hunting.

"Say... Why don't you two ask your dad to be that bad bear? I saw pups playing like that in my pack. You two would try to defeat him - obviously, don't bite too hard, but try to have fun." He offered with a light grin as he gently ruffled Mink's hair. "Go on, ask him if he'll agree. It would be fun to try something new, right? When I get better... If I'm still here, I'll gladly help out." He promised, a longing look in his eyes. He hoped he would get out of here soon. He didn't want to get too attached.

The room soon smelled like dead wolf and it made his hackles raised. Kudo didn't even want to know how he got the dummy to smell like this and he didn't want to see the victim of that smell either. It didn't make him excited; on the contrary it made him stand on edge. So he hurried in his steps to reach the door. Before he could even try to open it however, a large shadow loomed over him. The human noticed him and he cursed inwardly. A foot connected to his side and he was flung away from the door. It hurt but it wasn't a hard kick, so he didn't have any injuries besides the pain. Though he didn't want to, a quite whimper left his lips at the kick. His gaze looked up and the human disappeared behind the door with the dead wolf smelling dummy. The door was closed and he soon heard a click to signify that the door was now locked.

He didn't get to rest however since the hunting dogs soon grew closer. Though he wasn't fazed by the insults, he was trying his hardest not to growl back. But one statement from Pagan made him lose his cool. "Don't you dare to insult my pack! You are weaklings for ganging up on me; I am not a wolf obviously. But they had been much nicer to me than any of you or the humans! You wouldn't stand a chance against a pack of wolves. You just have the humans to back you up, cowards!" he taunted and spoke his mind. It was a bad move but since they would attack him sooner or later anyway he could at least speak his mind before he will be unable to do so. In a sense he knew that he won't leave this place unscathed, he even accepted it if he were to die. But if he did indeed die anyway, then he will try his best to make his pack and especially Buanna proud. If fleeing was no option, then he just had to fight in this situation.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Both of the pups practically glowed when they were praised. So they had to sniff things out and they would be praised? The big brother was really a nice wolf. "Big bro. Can you teach us how to hunt?" Mink asked excited and Fay soon joined it. They soon noticed however that Buanna won't teach them for now because of his injury. But his proposal was indeed interesting. "Un. Later big brother." Fay shouted and both of the pups bounded towards their father and their mother. Anni chuckled when both of them started to climb Troy and practically begged him to play with them. Troy was a bit bewildered at first since he also grew up in the zoo but Anni was able to explain it to him before the big bad bear tried to eat the little wolf children. Anni old sat down near a rock and started to watch them. It reminded her about about their past, hers and Buannas. They often played like that too.

Her gaze swayed towards the silver wolf and released a small smile. It was nice to know that the other was well and even found a partner. That is why it made her even sadder since she knew that there wasn't a big chance that Buanna will meet his partner again. But things happened because of a reason so maybe fate would be nice for once and reunited the two again. Anni just hoped for the best for her friend.

All of the dogs suddenly quieted down when Kudo speaked back. Some looked surprised or even shocked that the dog even said something, that he tried to fight back... But it didn't last for long. "At least humans don't leave us alone in bad situations..." One smaller dog growled out as all of them made way closer and closer to Kudo until he was nearly pressed up to a wall by Pagan. The dog seemed to bear extra hatred towards the red-haired dog. "Your wolves won't see you ever again." He growled out and just as he was about to bite into the shiba inu, the man came back into the room.

As if on cue, all the dogs back away and obediently sat down. The brunet tossed one single glance at Kudo before turning back to the dogs with a scowl. "You're very misbehaving..." He grunted out and gripped Kudo by his collar to drag him out. It was no use trying to train him with these dogs.. Maybe he should try to get him a private trainer instead. Maybe he'd manage. So, Kudo was tossed back into the original room he was in, the food and water still there while the man left to train the other dogs.

After a few hours, a younger-looking man with a warm expression came into the room and let out a slight smile at Kudo. "Hey, boy." He muttered as he crouched down, lightly patting his hip, as if calling "Russel" to come closer.

Buanna felt his smile growing and becoming more honest at the question he received... And the way he was called. Big bro? That had a nice ring to it, actually. "I'll teach you sometime, I promise." He said simply as he petted the two pups, a small smile on his face. The silverette slowly stood up and walked to sit down next to Anni. He had an idea, an offer... Though he doubted that Anni would agree, it was still worth a try.

When he made himself comfortable on the ground, Buanna tossed a small glance at the feeling before turning his gaze to the pups and their father, playing together. "Anni.." He started quietly, closing his eyes for the moment. "They need to see the forest. Wolves aren't meant to live in such places." The wolf said quietly, his sharp eyes opening again. "If I escape... And if I find my partner... I could take them in. The pack would definitely accept them, and we could take care of them if you won't come along!" He said, looking at her with eyes wider than usually. "Just... Think about it, okay? Please." He added the last word with the most honest expression on he could muster. He knew the idea was a bit of a long shot, but it could be worth a try.

Kudo continued to growl and tried to not act scared. His bravado from earlier already dissolved and he grew a bit scared. Who wouldn't be at least a bit scared after all he would probably be ripped to shreds for this. But even though he learned to respect the food chain in the pack, these guys weren't even worth it. So he tried to show as much defiance as possible. "The bond of a pack is stronger than anything! They didn't leave me alone, I was just foolish enough to walk to far away from the camp." he argued back but let himself be pushed against the wall. His ears laid low on his skull and rumble after rumble of growls left his mouth. Kudo readied himself for a fight that was bound to happen; only that it didn't come. The human returned.

The shiba inu was dragged by his new collar to the room he awoke in, away from the other dogs. Kudo wasn't able to resist so he let himself be dragged back towards the rum. He was tossed inside and the human didn't spare him another glance before he left and locked the door. Only know did Kudo allow his body to shiver and a few tears dripped onto the floor. He was really scared, he wished that Buanna would be here to hold him and tell him everything would be alright. But no, then Buanna would be dead. He was a wolf after all and the hunting dogs would have surely killed him. So Kudo tried to tell himself that it was good that Buanna wasn't here. It didn't change the fact that he indeed missed his partner however.

He was left alone for a few hours so Kudo was able to calm down and even drank and ate a bit. But truth be told, he wasn't even hungry, he merely took one or two bites of the food. After that he curled down in a corner again but looked around the room. This room didn't have a window and all in all it was rather gloomy. The door to his little prison opened again though and a new human stepped through the door. Instantly Kudo was on guard again but didn't growl. At least this human seemed 'normal' enough. But Kudo still didn't trust the other. His ears twitched though and he was interested in what the human would do next. Maybe he should try to follow the human’s orders, at least the easy ones. Maybe then he will get another chance to escape. The old dog that 'greeted' him in the beginning was able to walk around without the human looking. Maybe he could win the humans trust like that too and then he could escape. That sounded good so Kudo decided to at least try it.

The little dog stood up and drew closer to the human; he didn't get into the self dubbed 'petting range'. First he had to know if the human was indeed as nice as he appeared or if he was like the older one from before and only pretended.

Anni watched her family play and a little smile appeared on her face. How she wished for them all to live in freedom. She knew that this wasn't really a wolf’s life inside this zoo; it was just as if they were dogs for the humans. Rabid dogs nonetheless. But they were caged, they didn't know how to properly hunt and they didn't know about defending their territory or anything else. They were missing so many points in a wolf live that they can't really be called wolves anymore. So she understood where Buanna was coming from. She was just too scared to risk everything; she couldn't bear to lose even one member of her family. The fact that she, a wild wolf, had been caged inside this zoo had already broken her enough.

"I agree that this is no life for a real wolf. I want to escape but i don't want to see my family get hurt, I am just selfish I guess. Mink and Fay deserve better but I cannot give them the live they deserve." she stated and her head dropped low. She was reluctant to let them go but her babies were already at the age where they could practically live without her. She was fighting with herself. She wanted to keep them her, where she could watch them grow but Fay and Mink deserved a better life. So should she act selfish or should she do what's best? "I decided, I will try to escape with you Buanna." she stated and looked into his eyes. "But promise me that you will take care of May and Fink should anything happen to me and Troy." she begged the other. She still had to talk with Troy about all these things but she was sure that her husband would agree. The other was just so reliable and nice to her. Besides, she knew that Troy actually wished to see the forest too. It was his childhood dream to escape from the zoo but he was never able to find the courage or the willpower to try it. But for his family he would surely try.

The man seemed to be relieved when Kudo stood up and walked closer. His smile softened as he stood up as well, taking out a dog treat out of his pocket. "Come on, here, Russel." He said with a smile as he extended his hand to give the treat. It wasn't that big, but the man definitely knew most dogs liked it. At least... Usually they did. From what he'd heard about this dog, he came from a pack of wolves... Somehow. The man, Alexander, couldn't help but wonder just how did this dog survive there. Usually wolves would attack a dog, so what made this one so special?

He pushed away his blond hair, revealing beautiful blue eyes as he smiled. The one in charge of this whole place said that Russel didn't even know the most simple commands, so he was ready to work a lot with this dog. "No need to be afraid of me, come on..." He murmured and extended his hand - it wasn't really touching Kudo's head yet, as if Alexander was waiting for the dog to do it himself. He realized some time ago that forcing dogs to do anything just wasn't worth it... If dogs were treated nicely, they would do what you wanted. That was all there was, really.

Buanna's eyes widened slowly when Anni declared she'd try to escape with him. A smile appeared on his face as he nodded, looking at the female with a soft look on his face. "I'll take care of them both, I promise. My pack will definitely take you in, and Fay with Mink will have enough friends to play with there. While we're still here... I'll try my best to teach them about hunting, okay?" He offered with a light smile as he took her hand into his own. "But I don't plan on making anything happen to you or Troy." Buanna said quietly, his eyes as honest as they could get.

He let go of her hand soon enough, instead turning to watch how the pups played with their father. "...Does Troy know anything about hunting?" He asked quietly, leaning against the fence softly. "I mean, all wolves have some instincts, but... He doesn't really have any skills, right?" The wolf asked quietly as he looked down at the ground. "There might be some trouble for him with the others, if he isn't able to hunt along with others." He said quietly, staring at the patch of grass near his feet. If Troy couldn't hunt... Well, for some time, he would be forgiven, but he'd have to hunt at some point.

Kudo growled shortly when he heard the ridiculous name again. He wanted to tell the humans that he already had a name but it wasn't possible obviously. Kudo might be able to understand the humans; the humans however weren't even remotely able to understand him or any other animal for that matter. Now the human even tried to bribe him to come closer with a treat. Truth be told, it did smell tasty but Kudo didn't want to get all that close yet. So he simply stared at the human and occasionally the treat.

When the humans arm was extended towards him however, his gaze shifted to it. It didn't touch him so the human didn't want to force him into it. But he guessed he had to play along with them to get the chance to flee. So he started sniffing the hand, to make sure he really didn't try anything. It seemed clean so he turned back towards the treat in the other hand. With caution he picked up the treat from the humans hand and began chewing it. It was as tasty as it smelled. Kudo never ate something like this before. It was mostly meat from the prey they hunted. And though it was tasty, Kudo was sure that he wouldn't be able to fill his stomach with it.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anni was touched by Buanna's promise. "I would be happy about that." she agreed when Buanna offered to teach her pups how to hunt. She would have done herself already but until now she didn't see the need to do so. But if they were really going back then all of them had to be able to hunt at some point or another. And Buanna just spoke about the problem that was plaguing her mind. It was true, Troy was a wolf born in the zoo so he didn't know how to hunt at all. He might still possess the instinct but if it was enough? "No, he doesn't know anything about hunting. He grew up here. But since you will be teaching Mink and Fay, I try to teach Troy about it." she offered and smiled towards Buanna. She felt that it might actually work now that the silver wolf was here.

So Anni had to teach Troy how to hunt if they did indeed escape. The female wolf wished that everything would go smooth and no one would be hurt or worse. But now, that her hope was slowly coming back; she wanted to take the risk. Even if she had to sacrifice herself for her family. They deserved more and Anni wanted to do everything in her power to give it to them.

Alexander smiled warmly when Kudo finally took the treat - that was definitely a relief... The blond let out a soft sigh as he slowly lowered his other hand to gently pat Kudo's head. "There, no harm done." He murmured out softly as he smiled and lightly scratched the dog behind his ear. He soon pulled his hand away though, just watching him eat the treat for a while before he stood up again. The man wasn't that tall - Buanna may have even been taller, actually.

The blue-eyed male stepped a bit closer to the dog, then took out another treat from his pocket. "You want some more?" He asked and gently placed a hand on Kudo's lower back, lightly pressing on it while keeping the treat above its head. "Sit..." He muttered softly. This was how dogs were usually trained to sit down - and it usually worked, but honestly... Alexander was a bit scared he'd lose his hand like this. Russel didn't seem all that friendly and ready to obey like the other dogs, and that wasn't comforting at all. One wrong move and he could be attacked!

A quiet sigh left Buanna's mouth as he listened, nodding slightly with a faint smile. "Anything to make you happy." He murmured out with a chuckle before shaking his head. "You do know that we're not going back to your pack, right?" The wolf asked carefully as he stared right in front of himself. "You weren't there when I was banned..." The silverette trailed off with a soft sigh as he closed his eyes and shook his head. "Anyway, the pack I'm in right now is definitely better. Everyone's really nice, and helping, and... The elder is probably the greatest." Buanna wasn't usually one to talk that much, or praise anyone, but he seemed genuinely proud to be in the new pack.

His gaze moved to Tray and the pups as he let out a small smile. "I'll make sure you all stay alive." The wolf said, the promise more towards himself than Anni. He didn't want to lose her again - the time without her in the pack was bad already, and now that he found her... He didn't want to let go at all.

While he ate the human took the chance and patted his head as well as scratching behind his ear. It felt good actually but he didn't forget that the other was still a human and he couldn't trust him so much. Judging a wolf was easier than judging a human, a wolf snarled and growled at you when he didn't want to have you any closer. And if you aggravated him to much he will fight back. And if he was generous then he let you closer. But humans.......the shiba inu wasn't able to see how they felt. The bigger human from earlier tried to be all nice at the beginning too but soon enough turned rough. What told him that the human before him now wouldn't turn too? He didn't have insurance but as long as he acted like the human wanted then he might be safe.

The treat was soon finished and just like that his gaze shifted back to the human. The hand that was patting him earlier drifted downwards to his lower back and the human applied pressure. //So they train dogs like that. I can understand you though, you know?// Kudo thought and shied away from the hand. Without waiting for the human’s reaction he stole the treat and sat down on his own, just like the human wanted. The red head might have decided to follow their orders but it didn't give them the right to touch him as they pleased. He'd rather do it himself. The shiba inu was able to understand the human so he wasn't dumb. He could follow a few orders since he knew what the humans wanted.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anni listened to Buanna's praise, it seemed like the silver head really liked his new pack. After his talk any was sure that her family would find a new home their easily. Though her parents were in the old pack, she didn't really want to return there. It was true; she wasn't there when Buanna was banned. She had been hunting alone at that time and now look where it got her. If she thought about it, it was probably around the same time: her capture by the humans and Buanna's exile. "No, i don't mind not returning to that pack. You speak highly of your new one, I am excited to see it." she said, a happy smiling spreading on her face.

It had been a long time since she was able to talk with someone that understood her. It was refreshing and gave her hope. She didn't answer when Buanna promised that they would return to the wild without anyone dying. She couldn't say anything. Buanna should keep his hope until the point of their escape. She saw what happens to escapees, what the humans did to them. She couldn't tell him. The chances that they will be killed were high but Anni wanted at least her pups to escape safely as well as Buanna. The pups still had a future ahead of them and Buanna had a partner to return too. Troy and her......just had to make sure that they were able to flee. Anni was sure that her husband would support her with her decisions should the time come. Though they were from different backgrounds, they helped each other because they can't live without the other.

Alexander was genuinely surprised when Kudo just snatched the treat away. "Hey-" He began, but the dog just... Sat down. For a moment, the blond stared at the dog with a confused expression which soon turned into a smile. "So you just didn't like the mean nasty man?" He asked with a warm grin before grabbing out another treat. "Or was that an accident...?" He thought out loud with a soft huff. Maybe the dog always sat down while chewing or something? Could've been just a coincidence, definitely.

Still, he wanted to try it again.

This time, the blond placed his hand on the ground, looking at Kudo with somewhat expectant eyes. "Come on, boy, lay down." He spoke, and he knew for sure, that if "Russel" layed down, he was certainly a well-trained dog after all. Honestly, Alexander hated the man in charge of this place. Like, really hated. He was often too mean to dogs he trained. The blue-eyed male always thought that a gentle approach was better than the harsh, mean one where force was used. No, dogs were quite inteligent, and really, really friendly... Well, as much as saw, at least.

Buanna smiled lightly and nodded as he glanced back at Anni. "I'm glad. You'll definitely enjoy it there." He promised with a light grin as he closed his eyes and for a moment just tried to imagine he was in the forest. He imagined Anni as his hunting partner and let other smells fill him up - the herbs, the weird smells of humans that could've been his prey, the smell of grass, other wolves, wood... It wasn't as clear as in an actual forest, but he managed. The silverette let out a sigh while in his imagination he leaped through his self-made imaginary forest, nearing closer to his prey. One day, he'd kill them.

He opened his eyes after a while, his expression with a hint of disappointment. "...Anni, I want to get out of here soon." He muttered out, his voice the slightest bit shaky. Wolves weren't meant to live in such conditions... If here they couldn't even hunt their own food, what was the point. He glanced up at the wolf he'd called his sister, even if they didn't have any blood ties and let out a small smile. "How do the humans feed you here? Are the doors opened for at least a bit?" He questioned, narrowing his eyes slightly. "...Do the doors open at any occasion?"

The human liked talking to himself apparently, or at least he tried talking with him in something like baby talk. It was annoying to say the least but the shiba inu guessed he can't change that. The human doubted him and it made him a bit angry. He wasn't like these hunting dogs, always out to kill. They just had brawns while he had the brains. They just liked killing wolves; they don't even try to understand them. In a sense, dogs and wolves weren't all that different. There were obvious differences but all in all they were the same. Dogs also had this 'pack behaviour' or else Kudo wouldn't have fitted in. So what made the hunting dogs here so dumb? Probably the influence of the humans, they didn't have to act like wolves cause the humans fed and cared for them to much. They didn't really have a free will anymore.

But either way, the human tried again and now it was to lay down on the ground. The treat was in the hand on the ground so he couldn't snatch it away like earlier. A bit reluctant he laid his body down and waited for the treat to fly his way. Kudo didn't want to eat out of the human’s hand. Though he let himself be petted earlier, he didn't want the humans to touch him all the time.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anni watched Buanna for a while longer and noticed him drifting off into his own thoughts. So her gaze shifted back towards her family. She could see that Troy was having a hard time to 'fend off' the pups, though she was amazed how careful he was not to hurt them when he swiped at them. Even in play fighting he seemed to possess the needed instinct. Troy didn't have siblings so he could only play with the other pups in his childhood. Anni wasn't sure how they played but they obviously didn't learn how hunt.

Her gaze shifted back towards Buanna when he seemed to return from his own thoughts. "I know that you want out of here. They usually throw our food over the cliff, so we don't get to interact with the humans much during meal time. But if someone is sick the humans will try to exclude him from the rest of the pack to take him out of the cage and into their treating room. But they put us to sleep before doing that so we won't cause any problems." she told her brother and looked at him. She couldn't really remember any other time that they would be able to interact with the humans directly. Maybe when they wanted to clean the cage; they would usually put the pack into another cage so that they could clean this one. That's when they were out of the cliff human’s sight maybe that would be a good starting point for their escape. But they only cleaned the cage once a month or something. In here, Anni lost her feeling for time. She knows when the day starts and ends but not how many days passed already, she stopped counting. "They open rarely when they try to put us into another cage so they can clean this one." she said lastly and looked towards the humans on the cliff again.

Alexander's face seemed to light up in happiness when Kudo - even if slowly - layed down. He gladly gave him the treat and sat down on the ground with a warm smile on his face. "Good boy!" He cooed softly as he supported his weight by his hands behind his back. The boy seemed honestly relieved that the dog was behaving this well... And he wasn't bitten, too! Well, yet, but it wasn't the point. The blond didn't want to risk that anytime soon, though... Maybe he should keep his hands to himself for now. Just until he was sure that Russel here was really friendly.

"Alright, let's repeat then!" He said in a merry tone as he stood up again. "Sit," He said at first, watching Kudo with hopeful eyes. "And then lay down..." The man trailed off as he moved the treat into its rightful place.

Buanna looked disappointed when he heard Anni. "And they only get the wolves some already killed meat, right?... No actual prey?" The silverette questioned. If that was how it went, then he would have to find some other way to keep his hunting skills sharp. Maybe he could do so with Troy - he seemed to have quite a body... Or maybe... "Anni, is anyone else in here?" He suddenly asked as he turned to his sister. The wolf couldn't really see any more wolves, but maybe there were some in the other parts of the cage. It was quite big, as he could see. "Anyone else that came from the forest?" The wolf added with the slightest bit of desperation in his voice.

His hopes were once again heightened when Anni said something about cleaning the cage. "Did that happen lately?" He asked quietly, but it was clear that he was already determined to run away during that period. "Do you have any idea how much time we have until that? Does it happen during night or day?" The questions kept on coming out of Buanna's mouth. Right now, this seemed like their best chance at escaping. If needed, he wouldn't hesitate for a moment to kill some of the humans.

So the human wanted to try again. The other was probably still not convinced that Kudo did it willingly and it wasn't just a coincidence. But well, they couldn't talk with each other so that was probably the only way to make the human understand that he wasn't dumb and was very well able to fulfil such easy orders on his own. Generally he didn't need the treat but it was a nice bonus to his current situation. After receiving the treat for his earlier accomplishment, he ate it and soon stared at the human again. But it was apparent that the human was happy over the fact that Kudo understood what he wanted.

Kudo didn't really understand why he had to sit or lay down but it was probably a human thing. So to satisfy the human he followed the orders again and sat down first. Then the human wanted him to lie down so he followed it too. After lying on the ground he was able to eat the treat that the human has laid in front of him before. The shiba inu wondered what the human would do now. Why did he do this actually? Was he testing the red head?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"No, the meat is dead. I think the humans don't like to see us kill our prey, that's why they give us dead food." she said, absentminded. Humans were a mystery but she didn't want to know more about them actually. What she knew now was already enough to make her hate them. "Well, there is a pack here but no forest wolves if I remember right. We are the only two that came from the outside. The others were all born in such a cage and got transported to another." she said, trying to remember if anyone was picked up from the wild like them. But she couldn't remember, she had been the only one if she remembered right. That is why it was so hard to fit in, in the beginning.

She was a bit overwhelmed by Buanna's questions though. The other didn't want to wait long it seemed. Anni understood him but she was a rather cautious person. She had to plan her escape, even if she had to stay in this cage a bit longer till then. "They cleaned it a few days or weeks ago, I think it will take some time till they do it again. Maybe a few weeks, four at most. It usually happens during the night since the cliff humans are usually not there during that time." she reported. There was a possibility that they might be able to escape at that point but the humans were cautious, they also tried their best to keep them in this cage.

Alexander was completely overjoyed when Kudo obeyed again. It was amazing! The dog was smarter than some of which he'd trained! The comands as sit and lay down were simply the easiest ones - usually training started with them... If dogs were with families, they would also be taught how to give their paw, and other cute stuff like that. Now some of the more important things to teach Kudo was to 'stay', 'bark' and, obviously, 'attack'. The blond always left 'attack' as the last one... Often it was taken care of by the owner himself.

"Good boy!" He repeated again and, without even realizing it completely, gently ruffled Kudo's hair, petting his hair with a warm smile. It was obvious by now that the human wasn't one for being mean or anything like that... He was just honestly happy, honest and calm in general. Dogs were his love from when he was a little kid! He adored them.... It kind of saddened him to see them as hunting tools.

Buanna let out a heavy sigh at the response he got. "Bullshit." He only answered that way, clearly a bit annoyed. "So they can catch us, take us away from our families, but they can't give us even a damn hare?" He mumbled under his nose, while his anger towards the humans just grew. Hell, he'd kill a few of them if he got the chance. Just thinking about tearing their bodies apart got his blood boiling. He wanted to do it now. Without realizing it, a low growl left his mouth as he glared at the people on the cliff.

"They're all sick." He repeated quietly. The silverette tried to calm himself while listening to Anni talk some more. "So, no wolves from the forest... I wish they would just let us go." The wolf said quietly, slowly closing his eyes. He began nibbling on his lower lip when he heard the other talk about when the cage would possibly be cleaned. "We have to be ready by then." He said quietly, determination rising in him, showing in his expression and voice. "I will get us out of here." He promised once more, his hands clenching into fists. He wanted to find Kudo already..

(Doing a little time skip for Kudo to get the plot further. Hope it's okay)

Kudo ears lay back on his skull when the human petted him. He didn't do anything else though, he did not growl nor did he make the impression to hate it. In fact it actually felt good to be petted like this. Though the commands were easy ones, Kudo liked to get praised like this. During his time in the pack he was rarely praised, yet alone petted. It just wasn't common in a wolf pack. But since he was a dog he enjoyed it, maybe that is how the other dogs lost their own will. Kudo had to see that there was really a larger difference than he thought. No wolf would love to be petted; they only followed the ones stronger than themselves.

A few days passed. During that time the human wanted him to follow some other commands. Kudo complied without a growl or anything. After their time was over, the other human soon joined them to see the progress of the little dog. He was obviously surprised. Though when he tried to command Kudo to 'attack' a doll with a wolf stench the dog didn't listen. That was the only command he didn't want to follow, if he would follow it he would be betraying his pack.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Anni only looked to the ground when Buanna lashed out at the humans again. There wasn't anything she could say. Humans were mysterious but she thought that there might be humans that aren't all bad. She was just like that, trying to see the best in the situation. She knew that the chance of escaping was small so she tried to live here. It might not be the right place to live but it was better than to lose the ones close to her. But with Buanna......there was a chance that they were able to escape. Trying was everything here and was sometimes followed with death. It was worth to take the risk, she wanted back to the forest. She wanted to play in the snow with her pups, teach them how to live as a real wolf.

The light grey coloured female didn't talk much at the moment. She didn't saw the need to, not until Buanna asked her directly. Anni was sure that Buanna missed his partner and was desperate to get back to the dog. But that would be even harder. If they did escape here, they had to return to the forest instantly or else they might be caught again. Buanna could only go look for his partner when the situation calmed down. And even then he had to search among the humans for the dog. The silver wolf probably didn't even know where to start. But if they managed to escape and her family was safe, Anni promised herself to help Buanna. That's what family was there for after all. Though not related by blood, she saw Buanna as a brother and her little pups already accepted him too.

((It's absolutely okay ^-^))

Alexander was happy to see that the dog wasn't biting him or anything when he was petted. That was such a relief... The blond couldn't help but smile widely at the other, treating him with something close to love. Obviously, not the romantic kind, but a warm, friendly one - he saw dogs more as friends than pets, to be honest.

When Mark joined them again, he was indeed surprised. Of course, after seeing that the dog was still not following the command to attack, he got a bit mad - he lashed it out on Alexander mostly. The biggest part of what he said was about teaching that 'dumb dog' useless commands instead of the ones he'd use himself. He did that in front of Kudo, clearly not giving a single shit about what he did until he could actually attack. The blond himself seemed a bit stressed when he was yelled at - it was clear from the way he tugged at his clothing and hair, how he bit at his lip and shifted on his feet.

When the two of them were left alone again, Alexander slumped down in the corner with a heavy sigh. A small frown was on his face as he lightly patted his thigh, calling Kudo to himself. "I really wish you didn't have to be here, y'know..." The blond muttered softly, a soft sigh leaving his mouth while he leaned his head back. "You're a really good dog, you don't deserve this."

Buanna was slowly getting irritated by how quiet Anni was - hell, she didn't say a single word while he was talking. No response, no arguing - nothing! He felt like he was ignored. "At least say something, I feel like I'm talking to a fucking wall." The wolf grumbled out with an obvious scowl on his face as he turned away. "I hate it when you're silent. I feel like I'm the cause. You know I don't like it when you're sad!" The silverette exclaimed before turning to the other, his eyes serious.

"Do you not want to get out of here? You don't need to do it for me, you know." The wolf talked quietly, frowning slightly. He rubbed his leg near the "bandages" on his wound and frowned. "If you'd rather stay here and protect your family, that's fine, I get it. Family's important too." Buanna muttered out while his thoughts drifted off to Kudo. Pulling his knees to himself, he slowly rested his head on them. He always did that when he was younger - often with Anni, too. "I wish you could meet him, though." He murmured out, meaning Kudo.

(Sorry for the long wait. My new work has kept me running the last week. :( )

In a sense Kudo was willing to trust Alexander; the human was nice to him and didn't force him to do anything. And it was actually a funny feeling when the other smiled at him when he did something right. It made him forget the place where he was currently. Until the other human joined them again. Kudo saw that Alexander was being yelled at and felt the other's despair while being shouted at. He growled lowly, he didn't want that his 'friend' will be hurt. But the leash hindered him from defending Alexander. Mark only sent him a dirty look at that but didn't say anything; he merely stomped out of the room after yelling at Alexander.

A few minutes later and the human sank down near a corner and seemed defeated. The leash that was tied to the wall limited his movements but he was able to get closer to Alexander when the other called him. This was the first human that seemed okay in his eyes, so he didn't hesitate in trying to cheer him up. He sat down next to him and tried to get Alexander to pet him. Kudo wanted to escape and reunite with Buanna but for that he had to be patient. He can't flee, he was often tied to the wall with a metal leash and he never got to see the layout of the house. Just two rooms until now. So he had to wait for the time when he would be freed from the leash and when he will be able to walk around without being stopped.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anni was touched by Buanna's words. "I am sorry but I don't want to say something wrong. No matter how much you try to deny it, you are emotionally weak at the moment. I just don't want to anger you. A good plan needs time Buanna. So why don't you tell me something about the pack that we will live in soon enough and your partner?" she asked, practically ignoring anything else the silver wolf said. The grey coloured female wanted that the other would calm down and talking about what he loved might relax him. Before they are going to escape, the wounds had to heal and they need to have a solid plan. No matter how much she wanted to escape, they needed a good plan for their large group. Escaping alone was something different than escaping in a group. She had to talk about that with Troy later on.

Speaking of which, they were still playing around and her husband looked like he actually enjoyed it. Planning wasn't the only think they needed to do. As long as they still stayed here, Troy had to learn all necessary things about being a free wolf. Hunting, pack behaviour and the other things. But the female was sure that her beloved would be able to pull it off. She wouldn't have chosen him otherwise.

Alexander smiled softly when Kudo went up to him. He began petting him gently, then reached out to undo the leash to lightly pull the dog towards himself. For the first time, the human wrapped his arms around the dog, gently stroking his fur. He didn't seem like he was going to get up any time soon. His hands' movements were slowing down little by little until they stopped completely, but he didn't let go off the dog. Face burried into his fur, the blond breathed a bit shakily - he didn't want to work for this man anymore.

"Hey, boy... Why don't you attack?" He muttered out a question before pulling back, his eyes sparkling slightly from the gathering tears. He gently patted its head, with his other hand rubbing his nose. "You do everything else, but not that... Why?" Even though he knew he wouldn't get his answer, he wanted to know. He felt like the dog was doing it on purpose... Kudo understood even commands as search and crawl, but not attack... That was definitely weird.

Buanna's lip twitched at Anni's answer. "You don't have to treat me any differently." He mumbled out quietly and looked away. "I'd rather get angry about what you said instead of what you didn't." The wolf added quietly and sighed, placing a cheek on his knee. "Huh... I don't know where to start." He muttered softly, closing his eyes. There was so much to tell about his pack and Kudo... He wanted for Anni to meet him, he wanted for her to see how he was living now, that he didn't have to put up with his father's bullshit.

"Well, his name's Kudo." The silverette started quietly. "He was taken in after he was found in the forest... Not everyone accepts the fact that there's a dog in a wolves' pack, but no one really does anything bad to him, at least not that I've heard of." Buanna said and opened his eyes a bit. "We haven't been partners for long... But I already feel like I miss him too much." He admitted quietly as he closed his eyes again. "All in all, he's amazing. I want to see him again..." He said in a quiet mutter, lightly biting down on his lip when he finished.
