The girl beamed down at the dog by her leg, gently patting its head while they walked home. "Russ, it's all fine~ Boy, we can find some toys for you now!" She exclaimed happily, entering the house. The young brunet held the door open for the dog, giggling quietly as she watched it. The dog was such a cutie... "I want to dress you up!" She squealed out suddenly, clapping her hands together excitedly. "I can put a cute bow on you, and a scarf!" The girl was definitely getting excited, but cooled down the moment she saw her mother. "Ah, I guess I have to find you a bed and food first.."

Even if she sounded disappointed, she still had fun when doing that. She continued petting the dog gently, scratching behind its ear and chin, giggling whenever she got a funny sound out him. Soon enough, Kudo had a warm bed ready, a collar and a leash, some toys and two bowls - one for water, one for food. Both filled up. "Are you hungry?" She cooed softly, tugging Kudo towards the bowl. "Come on, eat and then I'll show you around!" She said happily, but once again was stopped by her mother. "Let it rest. You have chores to do now anyway..."

Buanna nodded quietly, fighting back the desire to run to the fence and howl at the human. "I.. Yeah, I can definitely smell him. I'm sure of it... Anni, what if he's here? What if he's in this zoo?" His eyes wide and somewhat hopeful, Buanna looked both happy and scared. "Was he captured too? What does this human do? Could he be dead? What if he's dead?" Now the wolf was beginning to panic. Like, seriously panic.

The silverette at least managed to sit up, now grabbing at his hair. "What if I'm never going to see him again? What if they'll feed us his meat? That's possible, right? What use do they have of a dog?!" His voice was getting louder and louder with each question until he wasn't sure which was closer - crying or yelling at Anni. Buanna had never felt this distressed before. This was... New. And very unpleasant.

Kudo followed the girl carefully and was a bit hesitant to go into the house. His chances of walking around the zoo would be limited if it was as closed off as Mark's house was. And if he would be chained to the wall then it would be even harder. So he carefully treaded onwards and jerked slightly when the girl squealed next to him. But as much as he could understand of the girl, she wanted to play with him. The shiba inu got a bad feeling at this.

He was told to wait at a spot some time ago and for now he listened to that order, wondering what would happen. The girl ran back and forth. First she dumped a cushion next to him. It looked fluffy and Kudo actually had the urge to lay down on it. But after that came a dreaded collar and a leash. He guessed it can't be changed, all dogs had sometime like that around their necks. For them it was normal but for him it wasn't. Next were some toys he saw in the shop from earlier. He couldn't really imagine doing anything with them though. Last but not least were two bowls, one with food and the other with water. The girl asked him if he was hungry but didn't let him answer, she tugged him towards the bowls instead. Actually he wasn't all that hungry but he had to eat, he needed all the energy he could get. So he started to eat from the bowls. It was a different taste then the raw flesh he ate in the forest. And truth be told, Kudo didn't like it all that much. It was okay but he prefered a fresh hare over this. The girl left him soon and since he wasn't tied to the wall he started to snoop around the house.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anni couldn't immediately answer to Buanna since the male continued to throw questions at her. The other was freaking out obviously but the female could understand. So she did the only thing that came to her mind. She grabbed his struggling arms and hugged him. "Shh. It's okay. The scent didn't smell like death so your mate is alive. Furthermore it was strong so he is here in this zoo. Humans keep dogs as pets, they won't hurt him as long as he behaves." she said, trying to ease Buanna's mind a bit. She didn't know if this would work but it was the only thing that came to her mind.

The silver wolf had to calm down, now that Kudo was in the zoo; there was a high possibility that they will meet him sooner or later. The dog probably searched for his mate too. It was hard but for now it was waiting again.

The collar was placed on Kudo's neck immediately, however the leash was put away. The girl seemed satisfied with herself like that, and the collar wasn't tightly around the dog's neck at all. "There... Now people will know who to contact if you get lost~" She said with a warm smile, gently patting its head. The young female was awfully happy when the dog began eating, however she herself had to go and clean, as well as feed some other animals. She was always glad to help out in the zoo; she loved working with animals.

The older woman - Loret - was left alone with the dog. Her serious eyes always followed the dog until she walked towards the main door and opened them wide for the dog. "Go on." She hurried the other, a small smile appearing on her face. The dog wouldn't be able to get far away from the zoo if it tried to escape. The collar would notify them if he escaped... And she was sure the dog wouldn't be as smart as to take it off somehow.

Buanna tensed as he was hugged, however slowly relaxed into his sister's touch. He burried his face into her shoulder, trying to stop shaking somehow. He nodded shakily at what she said, taking in short breaths of air. The man was long gone, and yet Kudo's smell was etched into his mind. He was here... He was here...

The silverette calmed down after a bit and pulled away, his eyes filled with hope. "I... Sorry, I'm just scared of losing him." He muttered out quietly and sighed softly, rubbing his face. "We could train some more if you want?" Right now he needed to get Kudo out of his mind. Even if just for a bit. If he thought too much about the dog, Buanna feared he wouldn't be able to focus on what was happening around him anymore. That wouldn't be good in the slightest.

(I hope it's okay if they meet each other already. :) Sorry for the late reply for the way, work has been really annoying the last week. I will be gone next week to, without internet. :/ )

Kudo released an annoyed sound when the collar was placed around his neck. It just felt wrong and he couldn't get used to it. Since he was always chained to a wall, he didn't have the chance to get it off. Maybe he could do so now.....when no humans where around. It had to go sooner or later anyway; the dog didn't want to carry it back into the forest. It would probably make it easier for the humans to find him and his pack if he didn't get rid of it. But for now he had to live with the uncomfortable feeling.

The older woman soon opened the door for him, having seen him snooping around the house. In a sense he was grateful to her, now he didn't have to find a way out of this house. Without being told twice he ran outside and started sniffing around for Buanna. There were still a lot of humans around and people often stared at him for running around alone, without a human. His search was a bit difficult due to that since often people would walk up to him and would try to pet him. He would growl in response but he decided not to bite, it wouldn't do him good he guessed. And after a while of petting they would leave themselves. Kudo just had to endure it.

He continued his search and met many other animals that he never saw or smelled before. But out of respect he kept his distance to them, even with the fences around them. It reminded him of the house that Mark owned, trapped in it without a chance to flee. Kudo felt pity for them, since he was in a similar situation before. But he had to concentrate on his own escape as well as Buanna. Talking about him, after a while he could smell wolf. And he knew that he was on the right track. Soon enough the smell got stronger and he saw some humans standing on the edge of a cage, looking down to the animals. Probably wolves. Kudo tried to get closer but the humans didn't want to budge. It was hard to look over the edge like this, he couldn't see if Buanna was among the wolves. The dog just had to wait until some of the humans would leave he guessed. The dog could also try to howl to the other but that would attract unwanted attention. But he could smell him; Buanna's scent was in the air despite it being layered with humans and other animals.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Of course, that's normal. But I am positive he is alive and searching for you too." she replied to her brother, only lessening her hug when Buanna spoke about their training. Anni was unsure if Buanna would really pay attention but she guessed she just had to be more careful. So without much waiting, Anni readied a new attack, intending to push her brother onto his back.

After a little while however, the dog scent grew stronger again. It got closer she noticed, it was over layered with the human scent but she can easily say that it was the same dog scent then before. This meant that her brother’s mate was really close and he was alive. There was no way that the humans would give them the dog meat and she was also positive that they didn't kill him. So he had to be alive and searching for them. And he was already so close. She stopped her attacks at that moment; Buanna probably already smelled it too. She raised her head towards the large cliff and looked for the dog. She couldn't see him however; everything was packed with humans that probably watched them play fight.

((Of course it's okay! Perfect, even :D And, as I've said so many times before, there's no rush in replying; you can feel free to take your time whenever you want ^-^

However, I do apologize for the short reply :/ I don't really know what other character could I include without ruining the moment... *sigh*))

Buanna definitely was thankful for Anni's words, but no more verbal answer came from him as they continued the play fight. The wolf hated the fact that his sister seemed to be going weaker on him after his breakdown; that was his main motive to being even rougher than usual. While he didn't seriously claw or bite at the female, he did make his attacks a little bit stronger, using more of his body weight to attempt to push her out of balance and so on. He didn't even hesitate to let out growls or so on as he attacked. In the end, both of them had their share of rolling in the ground after being pushed down.

He noticed the smell, but didn't stop attacking until Anni did. Once that stopped, he turned to the humans, almost eagerly lifting up his head to smell the air. Humans, humans, humans, humans. He felt like he was going crazy. His head almost felt dizzy; he knew he felt Kudo's scent, but there were too many humans around... He wasn't used to them at all, a situation like this almost made him panic.

Buanna didn't realize the exact moment he bared his fangs and began growling at everyone watching them. The hair on his back stood up to try and intimidate the spectators, his stance was firm, one of a hunter, even. Finally, the wolf rose up his head and let out a low, lonely howl. He just wanted his mate back... Buanna tried calling the dog's name too, but he doubted it got through the chatter all those humans created. Most of them were laughing and pointing at him, even small kids.

Yet the most frustrating thing remained the same. Kudo was here, yet he couldn't see it. Only the smell was in the air; nothing else. Was this some joke that the humans thought of?

(No worries. I think you noticed that i am a bit of a sucker for romance and drama and all that shit. XD I don't know why, it just so happens that i always write it like that. XD)

Their play fight continued for a while and Anni soon noticed that Buanna didn't accept her way of fighting. He got rougher and to distract him for a bit she followed. Both of them rolled on the ground and it almost seemed like they were really fighting. Troy and her kids were watching them, the pups eager to see their mother fight. For them, she was even stronger than their dad. Which was true in a sense, Anni was stronger than most wolves here and she was definitely stronger than Troy. Soon enough the pups play fought amongst themselves and even Troy joined them.

After they both stopped to look for Kudo, her family stopped too. Her husband walked up to her and quietly asked what was going on. As gentle as she could, she tried to explain to him as well as her pups.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kudo sat down near a patch of grass, under the shade. Today was a hot day and he didn't want to risk being trampled to death by the humans. It seemed they were really eager to watch the wolves. Kudo didn't know why but it made him feel uncomfortable knowing this. Being ogled at......Buanna probably didn't like it one bit. It just made his resolve to flee stronger. He wanted to get the silver wolf out of here, Kudo could live with it to stay here but Buanna wasn't born to live under the humans. He deserved his free life. So the dog would do anything if that meant that they could leave this place together.

His thoughts were interrupted when he heard a wolf howl. "That......that was...." he started but couldn't finish his sentence when tears suddenly ran down his face. Only now did he really understand how much he missed Buanna. Without thinking about it again, he lifted his own muzzle and released a higher pitched howl. It wasn't a wolf howl, since he was a dog. Everyone was able to hear the difference but Kudo tried his best to make it sound like a real wolf. Soon enough some of the humans turned around to stare at the funny dog. His head snapped back at that moment when he saw an empty place in the human mass. With grace he slipped trough the human’s legs and tried his best to look over the edge. The shiba inu wasn't really big though so he had a bit of trouble to really look over it.

Reasons unknown, but a human soon held him up and he was able to see over the fence. It was a bit weird to be held like this by a human but like this he could look into the cage. At first he didn't spot the other male but as soon as he swept his gaze over the wolves, he saw him. His mate. Kudo couldn't suppress some tears to leave him again but a happy smile spread and his tail began to wag. He finally found him again. It's been weeks or something, Kudo didn't keep count. Of course he wanted to hug Buanna but there were so many obstacles in their way, he was just happy to finally see him again and to see that he is still healthy.

((And I'm all fours for that! I'm a sucker for romance too

Buanna swore he choke on air when a higher pitched howl came flying back at him. All of his body began shaking as, quite unexpectedly for him, tears began showing in his eyes. The wolf raised his head back and howled again, desperately looking at the crowd of people to see his loved one again. He was so close to the edge, some of the mothers actually pulled their kids back while he walked, hoping to see Kudo somewhere - even if just a small glimpse of him.

Finally, a patch of red caught his eyes and Buanna froze. His silver eyes widened fuller while he stared at his mate, his lips parting in disbelief. The wolf ran to the side Kudo was at, standing up straight, his front paws on the fence as he raised his muzzle up. "Kudo..." He whispered, small tears shining in his eyes. A smile slowly stretched out on his face as he looked at the dog with something that could only be called eyes full of love. "I missed you so bad..." He barely whispered out, desperately trying to reach the red head, even if just for a small, short touch. Just to make sure it was real... Just to make sure this wasn't another dream.

"I'm going to get out of here, I'll get you two, we can go home!" He exclaimed, determination flooding over him. Now he knew Kudo was alive and well, they would always be able to go home to their pack...

(XD Then that's good.

His happiness didn't fade; it grew instead when Buanna finally saw him and got closer to him. The other tried to reach him and Kudo wanted to too but the human that carried him drew back a little when the silver wolf tried reaching for the dog. It wasn't by much but like this the red head wasn't able to try and get closer to his mate. It was understandable however, since Buanna would probably bite the human or something. Kudo didn't like it either but he did his best to behave so he won't end up with someone like Mark again. His head still hurt from the punches he dealt out earlier this day. But his thoughts were solely focused on Buanna and he replied in a quivering voice, since he couldn't suppress his tears: "Me too, I missed you so much."

Though tears were flowing down his face, he couldn't help but feel happy. All his bottled up emotions came rushing out right this moment. It had hurt and he felt humiliated during his stay with the humans. He tried to ignore it and focus on what was more important but now, after finally seeing his mate, it all flooded out of him. Buanna was okay, he wasn't hurt or anything. That lifted a large stone that had weighted on his heart. Kudo couldn't speak so he merely nodded to the male. Yes, they would get out of here, together.

Buanna honestly didn't give a shit about the human that was holding Kudo. He wouldn't have even bothered to bite him as a soft, quiet whine left his mouth. He'd never even released such sound before! "I want to touch you so bad..." The wolf couldn't help but say - he meant that as a simple touch, nothing sexual even. His nails were digging into the cement as he tried to keep on his back legs, his neck stretched out as much as it even went. "Baby, don't cry anymore..." He muttered softly, a smile stretching out on his face. Certainly, Kudo was the only one he acted so sweet and careful with. His whole body just screamed at him to protect his mate now, to get to his side and to chase off anyone else.

"Kudo... Kudo, come back here at night if you can. Maybe... You'll find a way to get in here..." He talked hopefully as he looked at his mate, eyes filled with love. Gods, he missed their little cave so much already. They hadn't even been long together, so how come the dog was such a huge part of his life already?

Kudo sniffed and tried to stop his flow of tears and it worked after a few seconds. He was able to believe that they would see each other again and now they did. He shouldn't cry but be happy. When he heard his mate's soft voice he instantly calmed down. The dog didn't know why but he felt save near Buanna. It was probably part of his instincts but maybe also the love he felt for the other. Even at the start he knew that he would love the other but now, after this whole ordeal he really appreciated the chance that was given him. Though Buanna might appear rough around the edges he had a good heart and he was happy that he was the one to see it firsthand. So he nodded again and smiled.

"I'll.....try. I don't know if I am able to flee that easily though." he spoke and pondered over his choices. In Mark's house he wasn't able to flee. The windows were tightly closed and the doors were always locked. But maybe he was lucky and found an open window or maybe he could open a door or something. One thing was for certain though; he would try anything to meet his mate tonight. Even if he had to jump over this ridiculously large fence.

Buanna felt really relieved while watching Kudo stop crying. It was way better to see him smile than cry... And he would make sure that he'd see the dog smile more often. For sure. He would be the reason for those smiles, he'd be the reason for that laugh - but like hell he'd ever be the reason for tears. Never - that he was sure of. The wolf had a million of other thoughts floating around his head, yet he couldn't even say what they were about. It was just a huge mass of emotions all in one place...

"I love you, I'll wait all night." Buanna promised, watching the red head with love-filled eyes. "And I'll wait the next night, the night after that and the night after that... And one night we'll all get away from here. We can go back to our pack, we can go back to our cave... You can go back to your studies!" The silverette seemed to be planning way ahead already. Yet what else was he supposed to do - the future seemed a lot brighter than the present. It was a lot nicer to think about what could happen than what was happening around him... Who would want to think of Hell when they could think of Heaven?

Kudo's eyes brightened again when Buanna spoke. The other wanted to reassure him, that they would escape and all. Kudo hoped so too. But to him, Buanna already went to far ahead. His studies can wait; their first priority was to flee. "Yes. We'll escape." he said with a bright voice and his gaze shifted to the other wolves in the cage. They won't be able to help all of them flee but Buanna said 'we all' so there is probably at least someone else in the cage that helped his lover. Anni caught his eye and the female nodded towards him. So she took care of Buanna. For that he was more than grateful and he wanted her and her family apparently to flee too.

Soon enough the human had enough to carry him. Though he might be small in statue and not that heavy, after a while he would probably become a burden. So the human put him down on the ground and he was only able to see the brown coloured 'wall' in front of him. "I'll try to flee tonight!" he shouted, hoping that the silver wolf would hear over the human's noise. As soon as those words left his mouth, his ears were able to pick up a high pitched voice. It was the little girl from before. "Russ! Don't just leave. Come let's play." she cooed at him. She patted the dog's head and tightened the leash on his collar. Without waiting for him, she started to drag him along. He gave up resisting though; if he was good then they might not lock their doors or something.

Buanna couldn't stop himself from wanting to stare more and more at his beloved partner. How could he miss anyone so bad in what seemed like such a short time? Well, without Kudo it seemed a lot more than those few weeks. The wolf's grin increased at what the other said and he nodded in response. They would definitely escape. His wounds had healed by this time, and Kudo seemed fine too... They would be able to get away. However, the sweet moment of them soon ended when the dog was put down. A flash of panic ran through Buanna's eyes until he heard the dog faintly from the other side. He howled in response before getting back to the ground. He was sure that a lot of wolves would look at him weirdly form now on, but he didn't care. Slowly getting back to Anni, his eyes were once again full of hope. "So... Let's continue the training?" He chuckled quietly as he looked at the female.

The girl was smiling down at her new puppy while walking through the zoo. "Say, say, let's find some toys for you~" She nearly sang out, skipping lightly. She really was a nice person - just sometimes she didn't know what she was supposed to do and what she was not. On their way to wherever she was going, there were lots of different animals and a ton of pigeons. Most of them flew off the moment Kudo was anywhere near them, leaving the girl laughing warmly. She sure was having fun... "Mm..." She suddenly stopped, putting a finger to her lips. "I could swear it was somewhere here..." She trailed off, looking around with a small pout.

Anni watched the lover's exchange. The dog seemed to be the right lover for Buanna. Even the grey female couldn't stop thinking that he is rather cute. Wolves aren't cute, at least not when they reached adulthood. Kudo was just so small and.....god she should get her 'sweet tooth' checked. When her own kids were born she couldn't help but squeal. Well, anyone had a quirk or two.

"Yes, let's continue." she said with a smile on her own and shooed her kids and Troy away. She didn't want them to get involved yet. The silver male's and her play fight were still a bit to hard for them. After they were a safe distance away, Anni readied her body for another attack. Her front low on the ground and her hind legs were starting to put strength in her jump. Without a warning she made a leap forward.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

During their little 'walk', the dog didn't lose his happy demeanour. He was just so happy to have found Buanna. Nothing can change that. So he didn't mind the girl tugging him along. No, instead he tried to enjoy it. The shiba inu looked at the different animals they passed. He was a bit sad that everyone was caged but they can't help them all escape. Especially not that giant animal, an elephant the girl told him.

She soon stopped however and so did Kudo. It seemed like the girl thought about something but the dog obviously didn't know what. So he sat down and waited for the girl to make her next decision.

Buanna grinned at his sister, his eyes holding the slightest bit of tease in them. "I hope you're not thinking about stealing him away from me." He joked just before Anni jumped. The male barely managed to dodge it and instead rammed his whole body into the female's side. "Come on, you got more than this..." He taunted, a grin stretching at his face. The wolf was having fun, at last. Though he did show signs of pain sometimes, like when he put too much pressure on some paw or when Anni's attacks were especially rough, but he didn't ask to stop. If anything, he was even more lively when he recovered.

However they had to stop at some point. Buanna ended up exhausted completely, snickering softly while staring at Anni. "Shit... You're way better than some of the hunters in my pack..." He chuckled breathlessly, laying on his back with a tired grin on his face.

The girl pondered about where they were before walking off again. She didn't so much pull on Kudo's leash as lightly tugged on it when he got too far ahead or behind. "There!" She exclaimed happily and skipped off to a small house. The brunette opened the door and grinned to herself, walking inside to look around. This was a shop where people could buy food for their pets or the ones in the zoo, also there were a lot of toys... Which she could take for free. So, she took a ball and showed it to her new pet. "Russ, do you like this?"

"Aww. Shared that I will steal you're little sweet heart? Don't worry, I have my own." she taunted back and recovered after Buanna's counter attack. Both of them continued and somehow, Anni was reminded of the time in their old back. They often fought like this and it seemed like the other didn't change much. And if he did, only for the better. The female was happy about it and started laughing along their fight. She was just so happy. They will flee; she saw Buanna again and understood that he was happy. All members of her family will be happy later on. It was a nice feeling after living years in this cage.

They stopped after a while, both out of breath. "He well, I didn't get my place in our old pack without reason." she stated with a grin and flopped down in front of Buanna. After doing so, her pups ran up to her and started to cuddle up to her. They had exhausted themselves too. It seemed like Troy did a good job of keeping them entertained.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The girl soon spoke up and started walking again. Not wanting to let himself be dragged along he followed the human. It wasn't long before she stepped into a shop and the shiba inu waited for her in front of the shop. The little girl soon emerged with a ball. Kudo sniffed on the ball when he was offered it. He didn't know what it was but it was foreign so he was a bit careful around it. He didn't wag his tail or do anything else for the girl to know if he liked it or not. The red head just couldn't decide if he would like to try the ball or not. So he let the human decide for him.

Buanna chuckled breathlessly, trying to catch his breath at last. He felt happy... Happier than when he was alone in the pack. Happy, in these confines of the zoo... It was weird, even. His lungs felt empty, his muscles were sore, he had some bruises from Anni, and yet he felt happy. Truly weird... The wolf looked up at the female at her comment, grinning lazily at her. "True, you always were good... I just forgot that." The silverette smiled then, such a warm, honest smile, it didn't look like him for a moment. Buanna rarely ever smiled like that...

The silver-eyed male rolled over to his stomach, reaching out to ruffle up the pups' hair. "You two trained too, huh? You'll be amazing hunters one day..." Buanna muttered with a smile before lowering his arm down. He wanted to train the two in the forest, have them stalk the prey, taste the fresh blood.. He wanted them to be real wolves.

The girl seemed disappointed with the lack of response from the dog. "You don't like balls?" She muttered softly, a pout on her face. The girl sighed softly and lowered the hand with the ball in it slowly, sitting down on the steps with a frown. "What do you wanna do? I wish you could talk. I don't know what you like!" She whined softly, tossing the ball away to the side while letting go off Kudo's leash.

Anni was a bit surprised when the other showed her such a rare and pure smile. Even over the whole time they knew each other, the female was able to count Buanna's smile on her paws. At least such a genuine one. The wolves from their old pack often bitched about this. They said that Buanna wasn't able to smile since he always had a poker face on. But Anni knew better. It wasn't often but the silver wolf did smile but only when was truly happy. And one of these moments seemed to be now.

Fay and Mink both grinned when the male complimented them. They were just pups so they were happy about a lot of things, even if it was just some praise. Troy lay down next to his wife but didn't speak. He felt that he shouldn't intrude. The black colored male didn't know the other much and they didn't really like each other. But he wanted Buanna to smile a bit too. All this time he's been here already, Troy only saw him sulking or the like. Even when playing with the pups, he didn't stay happy.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Due to his lack of action, the girl soon sighed and looked dejected. He stared as she sat down and muttered something to herself. It was true; many things would be much easier if they could talk to each other. But they couldn't so they had to act around it. But Kudo didn't get why the girl threw the ball away. Didn't she just buy it? Why did she throw it away? He doesn't get how shops worked but he guessed it wasn't easy to get the things you needed to swap (money). So why was she throwing it away? Deciding that he couldn't let it be, he stood up and started trotting towards the ball. Carefully, as if he was afraid it would break; he picked the plastic up with his mouth and walked back towards the girl.

It tasted weird but it was a bit fun to fetch it for the girl. He wondered why. After getting back to the girl he dropped the ball in front of her feet and started to slowly wag his tail unconsciously.

Buanna often just politely ignored Troy's presence. It wasn't that he pretended the black wolf wasn't there - no, he just didn't start any arguments or anything of the sort. Honestly, he barely even said anything to the man first. He tried to be as polite as possible, since Anni and him were together after all... And yet he still disliked Troy. Certainly. Buanna still had this nasty feeling that something was off, and he couldn't get rid of it at all. He could only hope it was just his imagination.

Buanna sighed heavily and closed his eyes, just enjoying the warmth of the sun for a moment. "Anni... What do you think of Kudo?" He asked quietly, feeling the need to get approval from his sister. After all, the other was a dog; not that he would leave him if Anni said she didn't like the red head. Still, it would probably affect him for a while...

The girl stared wide-eyed while Kudo trotted off to get the ball. A smile stretched across her face as she took the ball back into her hand and completely took off Kudo's leash. "Let's play then!" She said happily and threw the ball away again, smiling hopefully at the dog. "Come on, Russ, fetch!" She said, eyes sparkling in joy. The girl began giggling softly as the two of them played. She was definitely having lots of fun with all this... Kudo was basically her only friend in the zoo, at least for now, while she didn't go to school. This autumn she'd start first grade...

Anni cuddled with her pups for a moment until they decided they wanted to rest for a moment or two. Both of them lay down next to her and cuddled up to her body for warmth. It was cute and she couldn't suppress a squeak on how cute they are. She was just too happy to have them, even if it was a hard and long way up to this point. She did turn her head back to her brother however when the silver wolf asked her an important question. "What do I think of him? I am amazed you ask me that." she stated with a small laugh. Buanna wasn't usually one to ask of other's opinion, even hers. But it may be important to him so she answered truthfully. "Well, find it weird that he is a dog to tell you the truth. But don't get me wrong! He seems really sweet and you obviously love him. Besides he is rather cute. It's just the difference that's between our races. I don't have anything against him and I would love to get to know him but I will still find it weird to talk to a dog." she told him. It was just that Kudo was.........different. She didn't have any prejudices against the dog. Kudo probably wanted to be a wolf himself.

The game started slowly. Kudo continued to trot towards the ball until the girl decided to throw it farther and faster. Along the way he started running to catch the ball before it landed on the ground. He even tried to catch it in mid-air a few times. But he wasn't used to play with something like this so he often dropped the ball. It was actually quite a bit of fun. Though he didn't see the reason behind this game. It didn't teach him anything, not like the play fights or hunting lessons. But it was fun nonetheless so he continued to amuse the girl. Until he was huffing for breath and dropped the ball in front of the girl's feet before laying down and trying to get air back into his lungs. As much as it was fun, it was really exhausting.

Buanna couldn't help but raise a teasing brow at the squeal that came from his sister. Really, she was often way too crazy about all cute things... It was weird for a wolf, there used to be quite a lot of wolves that picked on her for that. Obviously, Buanna fended them away without caring that Anni could do it herself. He always explained it as not wanting her to have anything in common with scum like them. Truly, the male wasn't a bad brother at all.

While the other talked about her opinion of Kudo, Buanna realized he was holding his breath in slight fear. The silverette finally let out a breath when he realized Anni thought positively of his mate. "I... Yeah." He muttered softly, unsure of how to explain him being a dog and all. "Kudo acts more like a wolf, though. He may not be the best hunter, but I doubt he'd go begging the humans for a treat." That the wolf said with slight disgust. It always angered him to see dogs so humiliated...

Thw girl, Amber, watched in joy while the dog continued playing fetch with her. Their game attracted a few people, yet when Kudo layed down in exhaustion, most left. The girl crouched down, soft pants coming from her mouth as she ruffled up Kudo's fur and smiled warmly. "Good boy!" She grinned and sat down, gently petting the dog until they were good to go. "I'm gonna take really good care of you, okay?" She cooed, gently brushing a finger over Kudo's ear.

((Hope its okay with the collar. I knew its a bit god-modding but I wanted this idea to be written kinda :/ ))

"Hmm." she said and observed her brother. "Just so you know, I will always support you. You are my little brother and I want you to be happy." she stated and smiled. Buanna was able to love the dog, so why should she be unable too? The differences will probably stop mattering after a certain time. It would do well if she told her opinion on a later time again, after really getting to know Kudo. Even if he was different, why shouldn't they like each other? But for now she would keep that to herself, some things are better left unsaid. Troy only snorted next to her and Anni only nipped him in the side for that. The black wolf didn't like wolves and his decisions weren't easy to sway. The female knows that first hand. But she knew that Troy would never do something to hurt Kudo if they met. She would make sure of that.

He let the girl do as she pleased. The fingers and hands on his fur and body weren't totally unwelcomed. After these few weeks he came to like this petting. Though he would like it more if Buanna would be the one too........at that thought he blushed lightly. It was embarrassing but Kudo had to say that he really liked cuddling with him but the other didn't like it all that much so he never bothered asking. But maybe, when they are back in the forest again, he will be courageous enough to at least ask.

After getting his breath back, he stood up and sniffed around. He could smell something tasty. It wasn't like anything that he smelled before. So he was compelled to follow the smell. He didn't get far however when he felt the collar digging into his throat and the pull of the leash that the girl is holding (after she put it on again). Deciding not to tug at it, he turned his head around and stared at the girl. The dog didn't like being bound like this but for now there wasn't any other option.

((Oh god, to be honest, the first thought in my mind when reading this was bondage >.))

Buanna let out a soft, annoyed groan before shaking his head. "Really, I'm not even that much younger." He muttered, almost looking as if he was pouting... Which was rather weird. The silverette tossed a light glare at Troy when he snorted, barely stopping himself from growling. The wolf would do anything to protect his mate... Even if it meant fighting with his own kind. Hell, he'd attack a human if it would save Kudo. Oh, how he couldn't wait to go back to their little cave... In fact, Buanna did like cuddling. Perhaps he didn't show it all that much, but he did. Feeling Kudo's small body against his own, in his arms, it always felt nice. He just wanted to feel that again... "Anni, thanks." Buanna sighed out softly and smiled slightly before closing his eyes, laying on his back. "God, I'm hungry..."

Amber was overjoyed to see that her brand new dog was behaving so well. It was way more fun than walking around alone... Guess from this day she'd be able to spend time differently! (Just a note, we haven't skipped in here, so it's still day one in the zoo for Kudo ^^") She rubbed her pet's ear, smiling warmly at him. "Good boy, Russ!" She cooed, hoping that the dog will still plike her after some time.

The girl gasped softly when Kudo tugged the leash and furrowed her eyebrows. "What is it?" She asked with a grin before deciding to follow wherever the dog wanted to go. She sure hoped it wasn't a cat or anything... There was no chance she could keep the leash if Kudo tried to run off! She was too small... Though Kudo wasn't a big dog either, he would still be able to pull her down or make her fall. Amber just honestly believed that her puppy wouldn't do that...

"But you are, so you are my little brother." she grinned playfully. Her argument was only strengthened through the pout that she received from the other. She knew that the males didn't like each other much and it would only be causing trouble if she didn't teach Troy how to at least accept the other and his mate. The black male had a dislike for dogs since they could walk around outside the cage and the listened to the humans. He saw them as nothing more than dirt under his paws. They didn't have pride, so he not only disliked them but nearly also hated them. But he tried; he tried to understand Buanna and his mate. For Anni's sake and probably for his own too. Though he was able to fight, he couldn't even defeat his own wife so how should he defeat the silver wolf in front of him?

"No problem. The food should be tossed in about an hour or something. They always toss it in when the sun is directly over our heads (when it's lunch break)." she answered the other and looked upwards to see where the sun was at the moment. It did have some advantages to grow up in the wild. She could easily tell how late it was and not only when the sun would go down or go up.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(I meant the weeks in total since they have been captured. Alexander petted him too after all. Sorry for not making that clear. XD)

He grimaced at the new name that he got from the humans. Really, he still found the name Russell kinda unsuitable for him. But that was probably since he got his own name. It amazed him that he always reacted when he heard the name. It was too easy to ignore if he had another name. But he couldn't tell them his name sadly. So he had to accept his new 'pet name'.

The girl soon started to walk and follow him. So she probably allowed him to move in the direction he wanted to go. Even before he took the third step, his nose was directed to the air and he sniffed for the amazing scent. His feet carried him ahead. Around the zebra cage and the sea lions, towards the bird house and towards a middle sized, white hot-dog stand. The smell came from there. Sizzling reached his ears and the water in his mouth was starting to collect. That reminded him that it was nearly lunch time.

  • 2 weeks later...

Buanna groaned softly, fighting back another pout that was making it's way up with Anni's second comment. He decided to just stay quiet, laying peacefully on his back, and yet each hair on his body was standing; the wolf was fully alert. Living in the wild had him expecting enemies at all times. He barely ever completely relaxed... It was unsafe to do that. In the wild, everything was the enemie. Humans, other animals, even some bugs - all could kill in less than an hour. It was really weird suddey getting here, where everything was almost too easy. It scared Buanna. He felt as if this was just silence before the biggest storm in his life... And god, that storm would hit him hard. He just knew it.

A soft grunt of understanding left his lips when he was informed about the meals. The wolf put his arms beneath his head as he slipped deeper into his thoughts. He couldn't shake off the feeling that something would go wrong. Terribly wrong. The worst part of it all was that he had no idea what could go wrong here. No enemies except for humans, food supplies, Kudo... Oh, God. The silverette immediately realized the source of his worrying. His mate - what if something happened to him?...

The girl kept on giggling while the dog led her somewhere. She felt so relaxed with Kudo... The girl was certain that her new friend would never betray her. She was already making plans far ahead for their life together... When Kudo led her to the hotdog stand, without any hesitation, Amber bought two - one without anything else for Kudo and another one with ketchup and pickles for herself. She went to sit down at a bench while offering Kudo the hot dog. "There, quickly! You'll get some of your own food later." She hurried the dog with a wide, childish smile on her face.
