Defeated, Kyou just scratch his head and fished out a few bills in his wallet and patted Gino at the back. "I'm counting on you." He said and the man replied with a grin. "What?!" His voice raise again. He was annoyed at Gino but then the man just look at Max and Kyou and had this smug face again, like he is saying I know what you did.. more like who you did. . He blushed again and turn around. He gave the keys to Max and headed to the car in a dash. Why does the people who work for me are so perceptive.

 

"Let's go Max, we have an hour and a half break before we go to sites. Take me to a place where you think it's best since your paying." He said , without looking at the young mans face. More like he is covering his by looking at the side andoccupying his mouth by trying to light up a cigarette.

Max smiled a little, pleased with hearing Gino won't be eating with them, but he raised his eyebrows, when the other employee got the money so easily. Why didn't I know I'm entitled to this? The smug face on the other's employee's face only made Max's eyebrows shot up higher. What's with these people? Can they smell we had sex or something? He got into the car, ignited it, but then turned the key back, turning the engine off. He turned his head sideways, looking at the arhitect next to him. "Actually, we are dating, don't you think? Or do you usually have private lunches with your employees? And have wild sex in the morning, after you let them stay over? 'Cause that sounds like dating to me!" He didn't even know where this words came from, since he usually avoided this subject with other people. It was easier to get rid of them later on, if he never commited himself. Max knew that the arhitect had every right to get angry with him, but he just couldn't let this go. His words bothered him, seeing how he wasn't anything special, getting a lunch with Kyou, but he wanted to be special. Why do I even want that? It was the first time for Max, to be this confused and irritable. He ignored what the arhitect said first, focusing only on the important question at the end. "Well I don't want a person who I'm sleeping with, sleeping with other people too!" His voice sounded rather harshly, although he did try to say it in a I-don't-really-care voice. "And I'm not upset, just want to make things clear. If you're sleeping with me, then you're mine. I don't care if you call it dating or something else, but I won't tolerate you getting it off with another person!" Max was too angry to actually notice what he said at the moment, but it was clear those words will come and haunt him later. It was the first time he was so possesive of someone and it frankly scared the shit out of him.

Max froze. Well that wasn't really what he felt, it was more like everything around him froze, but he was watching the situation from afar, his brains not obeying him. He felt suffocating in the small car and he was starting to panic, although he didn't even realize that. Just as Kyou suspected, Max isn't the type to take relationship seriously. Though it was his bad habit to think of the worst thing, an unfamilair tightening around his chest was making him uncomfortable. Max was a mess inside. The arhitect's words were what he wanted, but at the same time, he wanted more. But right now, he refused to dwell on that, so he just accepted what Kyou said with a nod.

Max knew better than to ignore such a call, so he just tossed the phone to the passenger next to him, asking him, "Do you mind picking up? Kyou thought it was funny how Max reacted to him. He's so innocent he mused. "Nevermind the chicken. I'll just show you later." He said not to Max, but as an utter for himself. Now Max was really confused, but he decided to stay quiet this time, because they obviously weren't talking about the same thing. He was curious about what the other meant though, it seemed like he was talking more to himself than to Max.

 

The blue haired boy let out a small sigh of relief, when the arhitect handled the conversation with his father. He really didn't want to talk to him at the moment. Noticing the phone, he quickly checked the message on it and furiously shook his head. He tried to keep his eyes on the road as he quietly formed the words with his mouth, "Do not tell him!" Max knew he would have to tell him sooner or later but he prefered it to be later and when Kyou won't be around to witness that. Also it would be much better to do it in person, not over the phone. He listened carefully to the arhitect's side of the converssation to see, if his father suspected something.

The construction of the Durocher's mansion is in the early stages and since Max said he isn't ready to reveal that he works for him, he might slip up if he continues. After he hanged the phone, Kyou felt he got himself into a rather personal part of the young man besides him. I might be over thinking this... He thought as his mind started to wander why would Max hide the fact he is working. It's not like he personaly pry. It's not his style anyways. "There." he said when it's already fixed.

 

"Whoo. It's hot." He took his handkerchief and wipes the sweat off under his chin and waits for the foreman of the site so he can tell him a few things before they go around and look, in hopes of giving the blue-haired beauty the tour of their work.

Max would usually complain if someone was so patronizing towards him, but this was his boss now, so he just scowled as the other fixed his helmet. "Thank you..boss," was all he said.
