Tatsuya blushed a little as the make kissed the bandaged wound, for skimmed reason there was something oddly romantic about that that made him look away slightly in embarrassment. He chuckled as he remembered what he had been thinking about before cutting himself "just the usual..." He wrapped his other hand around Yuuta's waist quickly pulling him in and brushing the hair from his face "how sexy you would look cooking in just an apron." He winked and kissed the name lightly running his tongue over the others lips teasingly before he pulled away. "Come on i'm even more hungry now!" He joked and stood up tto go and finish the dinner.

Yuuta just raised an eyebrow at the other as he explained 'the usual'. He wasn't fully sure what that would be, until the other pulled him in and explain more. If he didn't know Tatsuya better, he might have thought he was joking, but, because he knew Tatsuya, he knew he wasn't. He just blushed and rolled his eyes, smiling as he leaned forward into the others kiss, smiling "I'll finish cooking" he mentioned as they headed back out, smirking "Wouldn't want you hurting yourself anymore" he teased.

Tatsuya chuckled "how old so you think I am?" He asked mock offended. He followed the other back to the kitchen and leaned against the counter. "You just need to cut the chicken breasts up and put that in the frying pan, I can do the rice." He said with a smile as he turned the hear back on favouring his uninjured hand. He started cooking the rice deciding it would be easier to do plain rice now. He picked up a spoon using his left hand to stir the sauce, glad he had gotten pretty much everything already done and the only thing that really needed doing was the cooking of it.

Yuuta just chuckled lightly "I'd say maybe 13, at most" He teased and smirked "I mean, you have the perverse mind enough of a tween" he teased as he laughed, walking back into the kitchen with the other where he finished up cooking with the other. "That actually does remind me though...I don't quite know your exact age" he spoke curiously, glancing to the other. Age wasn't really an issue with him. But he did want to know how old his lover was - and, it'd be nice to know his lovers birthday as well. He soon enough finished cooking with the other, and got it served and set on dishes, setting them on the table.

Tatsuya glared "well your rude aren't you!" But he laughed and sat down making a vein attempt to eat with his left hand. "I'm 26 for the record although I guess i'm 27 in two weeks." He scowled, he hated it when his birthday came around all it ever did was being up bad memories that he didn't want to remember. "When's your birthday?" He asked trying to move the subject of that, he already knew Yuuta was 23 he had check that with someone at the bar the first night he walked in not wanting to break any laws or anything by taking the make home.

Yuuta laughed a bit at the others response, and just smiled as he sat down beside the other at the table. He began eating his food, before glancing to the other seeing he was having trouble eating. "Do you need me to fee you?" he teased slightly, but was also partly serious. He wouldn't mind it, it would be rather cute in his mind. He just smiled a bit as he took another bite of his food, though, blinked when the other mentioned his birthday was in two weeks "What? Exactly two weeks from now?" he inquired. It was a good thing he was finding out now. When the other asked about his birthday, he shrugged his shoulders "Not for a while, it's in May" he said as he went back to the others birthday "So, your birthdays coming up. Is there anything in particular that you want?" he asked.

Tatsuya picked at his food "i'm sure I can manage, I'll just eat slower than normal." He sighed when he failed miserably at moving the subject of himself "It's in two weeks and a day." Yuuta had latched onto the information and he doubted he would be able to let it go now "not to celebrate it." He grumbled when asked what he wanted, he really did hate his birthday and he doubted there was anything that could make it seem better.

Yuuta smiled a bit as he watched the other eat and nodded his head, letting him. He noticed how the other seemed to become a bit grumpy though as he kept on the topic of his birthday. When the other said he didn't want to celebrate it, he frowned a bit, turning into a slight pout "But why?" he asked. The other must have a specific reason to not want to celebrate and look forward to his birthday. Yuuta was a bit worried he was hitting a touchy and personal topic, but, he wanted to know, so, he proceeded with caution.

Tatsuya looked down concentrating on eating as he said very vaguely "why ruin good new memories with horrible old ones?" He said simply not elaborating any further, he guessed of Yuuta pushed enough he would conceded and tell him but he wasn't about to talk about that of his own free will. He continued to eat in silence unable to work out of Yuuta was willing to drop the subject or not.

Yuuta frowned a bit as the other clearly didn't seem up to elaborating or really explaining anything of the reason regarding his disinterest and bitter attitude towards his birthday. Sighing a bit, he set down his fork, looking to Tatsuya "I know it's none of my business, so I wont pry...but someday I would like to know" he said and smiled sweetly "I take my role as your boyfriend very seriously, and you as mine, I want to know everything about you, good and bad, so that I know what to do and what not to, what to say, and what not to" he said and leaned over, kissing the other lightly as he picked up his plate to clean it "And whatever has happened in the past, is done and gone. I'm going to make your birthday this year one you'll want to remember" he said with a smile.

Tatsuya looked at the other feeling a little bad for not explaining but saying it out loud seemed to make it more real, he didn't want that, he could just about cope on his birthday as it was he didn't want to reinforce the bad memories. He felt the others lips on his but he couldn't kiss him back, not like this. One part of him desperately wanted to tell the other but the other part, the bigger part didn't want to say it aloud. "I promise I'll tell you. Just not now." He said softly as he finished his food rather half heartedly.

Yuuta frowned a bit when he didn't feel the other kiss back. He knew he said he wasn't going to pry but...the way he was acting just upset Yuuta so much. What terrible thing had happened around his birthday that made him feel this way? He didn't even respond to Yuuta saying how he was going to make his birthday this year great, trying to cheer him up or anything "Tatsuya..." he sighed softly, sitting back down beside the other, his eyes filled with nothing but concern for the other "I know I said I wouldn't pry...but you're worrying me like this, Tatsuya....wont you tell me?" he said, putting a hand on his cheek lightly.

Tatsuya looked up as Yuuta put a hand on his face, he looked sadly at the other, he knew he should tell him and he knew he was hurting Yuuta but he wanted to protect himself even if it meant hurting the other... It was in human nature, wasn't it?

 

Tatsuya looked up into the sorrowful eyes of his lover but couldn't hold his gaze "you really want to know?" He asked quietly "if I tell you then you can't celebrate my birthday, you have to promise me that.... At least not on my birthday." He said very softly building himself up to say what he has to although he still didn't want to.

Yuuta frowned a bit as he watched the other, as if searching his eyes for answers. He wanted to know, and he felt guilty for wanting to know. He could tell it was hurting and bothering the other to face whatever it was, and to tell him. Yet he still wanted to know nonetheless. He frowned more when the other told him he had to promise not to celebrate his birthday "What?" he inquired, sighing "I..." he trailed off. He didn't know how to promise that "Is it so selfish of me I want to celebrate the day you're alive? The reason you're here with me?" he asked with a frown as he glanced to his lap.

Tatsuya sighed running a hand over his face in desperation. "Fine do what you want." He said exasperated before looking away not sure how to begin. "You're so stubborn." He grumbled as he looked from the other to his hands not sure how to start. "Fine.... If you absolutely must know..." He had to admit himself he was avoiding the point trying to postpone what he has to say but he finally worked up the courage to say it. "When I was 15 at some point in that year I discovered I was gay...I went out with a guy I'm n secret ashamed of what I was then.... On the morning of my 16th birthday I decided I would tell my parents...." He paused and looked away. Standing he moved his things to the sink lengthening against it with his back to Yuuta trying to calm himself and regulate his breathing, not with much success.

Yuuta frowned a bit at how the other was acting. He did feel bad for making the other recall this. And he felt even worse he didn't want to necessarily stop the story, and not hear the rest. He wanted desperately to know what had gone so wrong on his birthday, so he could maybe help fix the day of his birth for the other, and make him happy about it. Yuuta listened to the other as he grabbed his own plates, following the other and putting them in the sink as well. He frowned as he stood behind the other, realizing how much trouble he was having for this. Gently reaching around the others waist, he hugged him close for comfort for the other, leaning against him, pressing his chest to the others back as he rested the side of his face to his back. Hearing how this story was going...he figured it wasn't a good ending with his parents.

Tatsuya felt himself calm down a little as he felt the familiar warmth of Yuuta behind him. Shutting his eyes and breathing slowly in her continued. "I invited my boyfriend over to introduce him to them. Except..." He could feel his heart pounding in his chest as he spoke but still he went on "except when I said it they went ballistic, I never realised they were so anti gay, but they... My father punched me and my mother threw my boyfriend out the house." He would rather not have elaborated further so he just said "it ask went downhill from there, the same day they evicted me from the house... I swear it was the only thing they ever agreed on was that one desicion.... Without fail every year I get a horrid letter from the both of them on my birthday, I guess it's the only time they ever met after the devorce." He stopped feeling hid waitress glimmer slightly but he wouldn't let the water fall. He wouldn't give them that satisfaction. He just stayed motionless leading on the edge of the sink his knuckles white as his fingers gripped the edge.

Tatsuya frowned slightly as he listened to the other explaining how his parents had reacted, and after that day, just fully rejected him and everything. He sighed softly, burying his face into the others back, hugging him closer "Thank you for telling me...I know it wasn't easy" he muttered, running his hands down the others arms, placing them over the others tightly gripping hands where his knuckles were white.

 

He rubbed his hands, holding on to them "My mother passed away when I was young. I lived with my father, and being naive and young, i knew I was gay from a young age. Naive, I told my father. He tried to physically beat it out of me, some bullshit about teaching me to be a real man. He - " he started, biting his lip as he hugged the other a bit closer "He had raped me, rather often, to try and prove how wrong and disgusting to be with a man, to make me hate it" he said. He felt he owned the other as much, information for information. They each had their personal things, personal battles, but Yuuta hoped they could share with each other and help each other through everything. Thats why he was telling him this. He didn't just want to know all about Tatsuya, but he wanted Tatsuya to know all about him as well "Because of that, i started to believe it really was some sort of 'phase' thing, that it wasn't a legitimate thing, to be born gay. A close friend, and an ex of mine, helped me get over all of that, past my father. It took years for me to accept who I was. And now I realize, it's none of my fault. Its shame on him, my father, for being the naive one. Just as you didn't do anything wrong either, and its shame on your parents" he said, resting his head against the others back "So, please let me celebrate your birthday. I don't want to do it if it causes you pain...I just want to make you happy, Tatsuya. Because I love you" he spoke softly, squeezing the others hands a bit more in emphasis.

Tatsuya didn't know whether to feel glad Yuuta had shared something with him or totally dreadful for unloading his crap onto the male as well. As he felt the other squeeze his hands he started to loosen them and remove them from the edge. He breathed out slowly and turned around wrapping his arms around Yuuta and holding him close. Gently he kissed the male whispering "how did the world deal us both rubbishy cards?" He said before saying as he ran his hands over the others hair "but at least I got one ace." He was obviously referring to Yuuta, maybe he could deal with a birthday of it was with this man, he wanted to make Yuuta happy so badly and if this would he would do it. He nodded "okay.... You can celebrate my birthday." He whispered softly

Yuuta just held onto the other, not wanting to let him go as silence fell between them and the other seemed to be considering. He let the other turn around, keeping his arms around the other and holding him close. He kissed the other back lightly, sighing softly as he hugged him tightly "Thank you" he murmured, a soft smile as he rested his head on the others chest and kept him close. He really did love the other, and he had a feeling this love would really last for a while... and he hoped it would.

Tatsuya felt himself calm down as he relaxed, he suddenly became aware of the throbbing in his hand and lifted it from the others back seeing the bandages seeping red from where he had griped the edge so tightly and re opened it. "I'm bleeding on you." He murmured slowly and reluctantly releasing Yuuta. He started taking of the bandages to put some new ones on, wincing as the semi dry blood ripped of his skin.

Yuuta blinked a bit when the other had pulled away and mentioned something about bleeding. He looked to his hands and sighed slightly "here...let me" he offered, running some warm waste over the wind so it was easier fur the bandage to peel of without hurting the other. He re-bandaged the wound for the other silently. He didn't know what to say anymore really. Gee knew it's be hard top comfort the other, family problems were egger quest pain to ease. And he already felt like he bagged and bothered the other enough, he didn't want to say anything else and risk bothering the other any more, even if all he wanted to do and say was comfort.

Tatsuya was silent as he let the other bandage his hand. He didn't like Yuuta being so quiet it was disconcerting. "What are you thinking?" he asked slightly worried Yuuta was thinking something stupid that he wouldn't like. But he also understood that thee male could be trying to take in everything after all the two of them had both unloaded some pretty heavy baggage onto the other. He wrapped his arms around Yuuta saying softly "lets go to bed my love, things might seem better once we sleep." He certainly hoped so, although he had calmed down there was still that horrible feeling at the back of his mind that he couldn't seem to shake off. It still hadn't really sunk in what Yuuta had old him, he hadn't fully understood although it wouldn't take much longer for his mind to process the information.

Yuuta just focused on staring at the others hand and tending to the wound. Hearing the other finally speak up, he was silent for a second before just shrugging "nothing really...I just feel bad, like i forced you to open up about that to me..." he sighed softly before he was pulled into the others arms. He looked up at him and nodded lightly "Yeah...bed sounds good" he agreed softly, turning and making his way back into the bedroom with the other. After stripping of most of his clothes, Yuuta climbed into the sheets beside his boyfriend.

Tatsuya followed Yuuta into the room and striped before climbing into the bed, he shut his eyes although is mind wouldn't shut down. "Yuuta...I want to tell you these things so please don't stop forcing me to say it....just, I want to know everything about you to so I'm sorry." He looked up to the ceiling before rolling onto his side and looking at Yuuta and smiling a little.
