The Line Between Love and Hate ((Nyuchanxx and Azuneko)) 18+

tatsuya smiled at the compliment "Thank you." He said politely taking the others hand and walking into the forest. bats flitted through the trees where they passed leaving a trail of glowing dust that settled on the trees and dusted the ground. Where he walked the dust died back becoming darkness again. The insect's song rose softly through the trees, a strangely hypnotic and comforting tune that swayed with the wind. He smiled. This was how the world was meant to be, none of the insane panic that seemed a constant thing at thee palace. A soft smile settled on his face as he walked deeper into the forest, his hand gently holding the demons as small fireflies settled on his feathered wings.

Enjin walked with Katsuro silently. The other seemed to be enjoying the night but he wasn't. This was something he didn't find all that interesting. He was a demon so darkness was something well known to him. It wasn't too different than being home. Though watching an angel finding the night to be something was interesting in its own way. Enjin couldn't help but stay slightly focused on Katsuro's wings. He was beyond envious of them. His were nothing like them. 'I would love wings like those..' he thinks to himself.

After a few more minutes Katsuro turned of the path intok the darkened forest's depths. He counted his footsteps making sure he was on exactly ythe right place before he changed directions again. Finally reaching a small clearing he walked into I it a little way and knelt down his hand reaching down. His fingers trailed in water. He let some of his energy flow out of himself into the water until it was illuminated, the water glowing a soft blue and the plants in the bottom now giving out the most beautiful light. katsuro smiled and turned to Enjin. "Come here." He motioned as he dipped his feet in the warm water.

Enjin continued to follow all the way to the clearing. This was very odd. He kept close to Katsuro the entire time. When the other illuminated the water he was slightly impressed. More so than he would ever actually admit. His gaze drifts to the other. "You sure know how to keep things interesting don't ya." he said going over towards Katsuro by the water. He wasn't all too sure about actually getting in.

Katsuro chuckled "Its nothing too impressive, I worked out I could do it a while back while swimming." He smiled as he sat down by the dge of the water on the grass as his feet dangled into the warm liquid. Reaching up he pulled Enjin to sit beside him "don't look so worried" he reprimanded "its only water, it won't bite..not like me." He smiled and nipped at the others ear.

Enjin sat beside Katsuro but kept his feet away from the water. "I think I'd feel better if it did bite." he mutters as he watched the glowing water. It was tantalizing and gave him a sense of warmth. He supposed this was better than sitting around the palace avoiding all the drunks. Enjin tilts his head to the side. "Hey Katsuro. Do you believe in rumors?" he asked.

Katsuro continued to look out across the still water. He thought for a moment before replying "depends what they are about." After a moment he looked qeustiininly at Enjin and raising an eyebrow asked "why, what rumor?" Assuming that ythe questioned wouldn't have been posed without something specific in mund.

Enjin glanced to the side. "I just happened to have some really good hearing is all. I sort of overheard bad things about this wedding. I am not sure if they are true but if they are we could be in some serious trouble. I was just saying is all." he said glancing at the water. Enjin then chuckled a bit. "Too bad that old saying about drunk people speak the truth isn't real." he said never finding truth in sayings.

Katsuro laughed uncomfortably not sure exactly what to say. He looked at Enjin trying to determine how to get the other to speak. Sighing he gave up and bluntly asked "what did they say? If are are in for it whatever then I want to know what us out to get me before it manages to sneak up." It was true he didn't want to be caught unawares in a situation he would find difficult to wriggle out from.

"Oh is that so? It was nothing all too serious. I mean I just overheard that the marriage is a rouse to place the blame of the war on the unexpected couple and then raise reason for suspicion of treason. I mean these types of marriages have happened before but never to settle a war." he said narrowing his eyes. "If its true I say bring it on. I'd love to see someone accuse me of treason."

Katsuro frowned at the others explanation. It seemed reasonably likely that his father would do something like that. He wasn't the eldest child, he had two brothers and a sister elder than him and he wasn't exactly the most sociable. Not even his intelligence could make up for those to factors, the idea did seem to work. He rubbed his neck with his fingers sighing. "Well I wouldn't be so quick to rush into it, sometimes the more you deny things the worse it gets and the more the blame s on you." He muttered..and didn't he just know it.

Enjin glanced over at him. "I could care less if my father tired to do something like this. It would backfire on him. So I am not worried one bit. Besides, its impossible to blame us for the war. We don't have the main reason the war began. Without proof that we have such things there's no way we can be falsely accused. To top it it could just be a rumor. No proof its true,yet." he said

[Nyuchanxx]

Katsuro nodded, not totally convinced but as long as he knew the rumour it was fine. He could keep and eye on how things progressed. Shaking the thought from his mind he leaned down and dripping his hand in the water he splashed the glowing liquid at Enjin laughing merrily as it soaked the other.

Enjin flinched a bit being suddenly wet with water. He blinked and looked at Katsuro. "Are you serious!? That's not fair!" he said pouting a bit. He glanced down at the robe he wore. He really got wet. He stood up turning to Katsuro. "Two can play that game." he said pushing the other into the water. He made sure not to fall in. He knelt beside the edge and smirked. "Now your wet too."

Katsuro gasped as he toppled into the water, all the air being dispelled from his lungs before he rose to the surface spluttering, the water was warm but deep and his wings were now completely soaked through the feathers sticking together. Swimming to stay afloat he grabbed hold of the crouching males wrist and pulled him into the water too. Just before the male hit the water he said laughing "like hell are you gonna win!"

Feeling himself moving forward, Enjin didn't have time to fully react. Next thing he knew he was in the water. With not much thought he instantly clung to Katsuro. "Idiot.. I can't swim." he said holding onto the other. He didn't mind being wet. His clothes clinging to his body. "So now we are both drenched. Any bright ideas now Mr. Husband?" he asked being snippy.

Katsuro's eyes widened as he realised the demon couldn't swim and he quickly scooped him into his arms, using his feet and wings to stay afloat. "Sorry." He said sheepishly. As the male snapped at him he smiled innocently and almost sarcastically replied "Teach you to swim." He smiled brightly not hiding the fact he was somewhat amused and the snippy tone was very sexy on the demon. He loved the annoyed voice a lot.

"Teach me!? I don't enjoy learning new things but I suppose you could try." he said slightly hesitant. He wasn't worried about learning. He just despised the learning process. Though one thing he knew was that Katsuro was Katsuro. He wasn't anyone else and not like anyone else. With such in mind Enjin would let the other teach him without putting up much of a fight.

"Really?" Katsuro questioned raising an eyebrow he hadn't really expected that he wasn't being entirely serious but if the other was up for it then so was he. "Okay then, you have to trust me." He said smiling encouragingly as he relaxed onto his back bring the other with him so he was resting on Katsuro's stomach. Using his wings he made sure they wouldn't sink and kicked his legs so he moved forward while Enjin slipped part way off him. He made sure to keep hold of the males hands and gently said "Kick with your feet, you wont sink I've got you."

Enjin had trust issues but he didn't mind so far trusting Katsuro. He nods as he put his trust in the other. Hearing his words he began kicking his feet. He didn't want to sink. So he made sure to keep his eyes on Katsuro. That way he could be sure the other had a hold of him. "Where did you learn to swim?" he asked. He suppose it was probably taught to the other. Though he was curious. Enjin really wanted to learn more about Katsuro. They were married after all.

Katsuro smiled as the other started to kick keeping their eyes lock together. As he was questioned he thought back trying to remember. "My sister used to take me down the pool when I was really little then my father forbade us from seeing each other more than once a month...that decreased little by little, I can't remember the last time I saw her now." He looked sadly up at the sky letting Enjin kick the water so he floated further into the lake. "When I found this place I taught myself." He murmured.

"You have siblings must be nice. Just knowing you aren't alone must be a good feeling." he said getting silent. He wasn't really sure why he was picked to be this man's bride. It made no sense. 'I wonder if it was just to throw me away..' he thinks before glancing to the side. "Katsuro, I think....." he started to say but stopped. Enjin glanced back at his own feet before focusing on kicking.

Katsuro looked away "Nice if I could see her." He muttered, he had no desire to see his older brothers and yet somehow he managed to see them every few weeks, the two of them were jerks especially when they were together but his sister, the one he liked, he could never see her. He was pretty sure it was his fathers doing as well. He tried to separate the two of them from very young and now he had almost succeeded it had been moths since he had seen her. He hoped she was okay. Coming out of his daze he looked at Enjin. "Sorry, what?" He looked about. They were in the centre of the lake now, pulling the male into his arms he turned himself upright saying "You okay? sorry I wasn't listening what were you about to say?"

Enjin stares at the other silently. "Lets head back. I dislike sitting around in wet clothes. You can teach me some other time. We are married so we will be together for a while. anyway lets go back. I want to try something when we get there." he said softly. He just really wanted to rest once getting back.

Katsuro nodded okay then." He swam the fairly long distance back to the lake edge and placed the make on the back before hoisting himself into the dry land. Shaking his wings of he picked up Enjin again and jumped into the air snapping his wings open and flying gracefully back to the palace where he settled upon the windowsill of the balcony again.
