The Line Between Love and Hate ((Nyuchanxx and Azuneko)) 18+

[Nyuchanxx]

Katsuro, looking pleased with himself replied "much better, full of energy again!". He follower where Enjin's eyes were looking and noticed the two men standing by the door. Walking over to them Katsuro cheerily asked, although in a quiet bvoicew, trying to gain their good will " morning, did you enjoy the party last night?"

Enjin stayed silent for a moment as Katsuro began talking. He wanted to see what the other would get out of him. "Ah good morning young masters. The party was well... enjoyable until now." one said while the other just nodded. It seemed the two were well enough to talk but still hazed. This might be a good sign.

Katsuro nodded "glad to hear it, after all it wouldn't be any good if we couldn't host a good party!" He laughed casually before deciding to see if they new anything. Casually he asked "So any rumours about us? Are people making their judgements already?" He laughed trying to make the question seem a little more chatty and friendly rather than questioning.

The guards chuckled. "There's tons about that little demon you married. Many placing bets on who'd get him in bed first and such. They think he's do cute they wanna make him cry." the two said chuckling a bit. Enjin wanted to kick their asses so badly. The other guard sighs a bit. "There was that thing the lords were talking about. Something about war scandals. Not sure what it meant though." he said. Enjin wonders what it meant as well.

Katsuro chuckled gently stroking the others hair as he felt him tense up. "Well they will have to get through me first. Can't have people touching my things!" He laughed gently kissing the demon before saying "war scadels, that a good laugh right!" He smiled at the two men seeing if he could coax anything further from them.

The guards nod and laugh slightly along with Katsuro. Though it seemed this was all they would get out of the two. Enjin looked at him. "So we have a small lead. Lets see if we can find any hung over party goers who were closer to our fathers. Maybe they could have heard something much more than these two." he whispered to Katsuro.

[Nyuchanxx]

Katsuro nodded "see you later." He said with a smile and walked away. Keeping his voice low he said "I know someone." He turned down a smaller corridor towards where he knew his father's friend would be. The man had always been a major partier and had always looked after Katsuro so he figured the man would be loser with his tongue. He stopped at a door knocking lightly walked in.

Enjin wasn't sure what they would find out. This seriously was making his nervous. He really wanted to confirm nothing and just enjoy being married. Despite disapproving it in the beginning. His gaze narrows as he looked at the door. "So do you think this guy can help us?" he asked Katsuro.

"I think so, he is my dads best friend and practically brought me up. Just don't lie in front of him and you'll be fine, he can tell immidiatly when someone is about to lie, their aura changes or something. I don't really know." Taking a breath he walked in. The room was dark, all the curtains drawn. Placing Enjin on the ground he walked dover and threw the curtains open before getting to work making some coffee for the hungover man to at least try and improve their presence.

Enjin looked at Katsuro. He was surprised he held so much high respect towards so many yet so few. He didn't have that for anyone but his mother and his one servant. He glanced over at the male whom they would talk with. He could tell instantly the man was a very formal and decent person.

Making the coffeebkatsuro looked at Enjin. "Sit down, its fine make yourself at home." Katsuro poured the boiling water into the coffee jug and let it settle for a moment before bringing it to the table and pouring some mugs, letting them sit on the table hoping that the smell would coax the man out ofvbed of his own accord.

Hearing a slight groan, the male sits up. "You can sure brew on hell of a coffee. What brings you to my quarters? Not hear to hear a drunken man's sorrows are ya?" he asked sitting up slowly. Enjin sat still watching the male. There was clearly something different about this man. He just couldn't tell because he was drunk.

Katsuro laughed "My father giving you hell again?" He asked smiling and taking a sip of his own coffee. He looked at Enjin and smiled encouragingly "This is my new husband." He explained nodding towards Enjin he wasn't sure why but a part of him wanted this man to approve although if Enjin made a good impression then it would at least help to get him talking freely about anything he heard.

The man glanced over at Enjin. "He's rather too cute to be a boy don't you think." he said only as a light joke. Enjin glanced to the side feeling a bit shy now. "You found yourself a nice one Katsuro. I envy you and also pity you. To think these marriages are only a way to place blame for these senseless wars. Though I thought it odd they allowed blood to wed this time. Its normally mistresses of the kings or queens." he said frowning. Enjin looked at Katsuro. So this was a set up wedding. That kind of hurt. Though how would they pit blame on them for the war. They hadn't done anything. Enjin begins to think.

Katsuro nodded. He could see Enjin was hurt by the revelation that their marriage was purely to blame the war on a couple. He gently rubbed the others arm. "Don't worry." He whispered "we'll show them not to take emotions lightly." He looked back at the now slightly more awake male. Cautiously he asked "do you know what's going on? This seems a little to easy to end a war that's been going on for so long. What should we do?" The angel asked, his thoughts in turmoil, he wanted to keep the demon safe but it looked like that could well be out of the question from the very start.

The other glanced up at Katsuro. "Who the hell knows. Just think about it. The war started because ancient relics were stolen. So the blame is pit on you both. I mean who ever wants to admit to their mistakes around here? So blaming others has been a thing since forever. Anyway I need some rest. Thanks for the coffee." he said turning to lay down. Enjin looked at Katsuro. "We don't have such relics. How can they blame us for stealing them?"

Katsuro looked at Enjin worriedly. "My father wouldn't have a problem with it and I doubt the fact that we don't have them will stop them." He looked at his honorary dad and smiled. "Sorry for disturbing you...sorry to ask but could you try and avoid telling my father about this discussion. He stood pushing his chair back and walked to the door holding it open for Enjin to walk through.

"Sure no problem." he said laying to rest himself. Enjin walked out after a small bow of his head. He stood in the hall looking at Katsuro. "They must have a plan to plant the items stolen on us as proof that we caused the war. The question is how and when." he mutters before leaning his hand on his face. He then glanced at Katsuro's ring. Then his own. He remembers a trick he learned to hide bigger things within smaller ones. "Lets look through the gifts we got from the wedding. Maybe its there."

Katsuro nodded. "Hmm." He said softly as he walked back towards their room still deep in thought. Even though he knew something like this was bound to happen and he didn't care for his father for some reason it still hurt him that the man had thought up a scheme like this to frame his own son. He tried to shake the thought from his head as he walked back to their room. Entering the bedroom he pushed the male against the now closed door and kissed him, his emotion leaking through the kiss; his hopoe that someone cared, his feelings of abandonment and the thin, vain promise that someone would remain beside him.

Enjin followed behind the other. He was curious as to how his father planned to blame him for such a crime. He had not left his father's sight until this wedding. So this would be easy to clear his own name but only slightly. A soft sigh escaping his lips upon them arriving to the room. All this thinking was getting to him. Though his thoughts stopped when Katsuro kissed him. He wasn't sure why the other did so but he kissed back. He wrapped his arms around him. 'This must be tough for him as well' Enjin thinks

Katsuro melted into the kiss, four the first time in his life allowing himself too just go with the flow and not caring about dominating it. He wrapped his arms gently around the males waist as he felt the demons arms on his neck. He wanted too forget all about the rubbish going on and to just emerse himself into that one overwhelming feeling but he knew he could not. He had to tear himself back to reality. Pulling away from the kiss he looked at Enjin, his eyes sad "I'm sorry you're caught in this." He looked away slightly "if you want to run away you can. I'll help you leave." He couldn't face the other, couldn't look into his eyes, he wanted so desperately to rid the male of the burden that wads this marriage but he wanted him too stay at his side too.

Enjin could tell Katsuro was concerned about the situation they were in. Upon the kiss ending he smiled. "I am not worried. According to my father I was born to die by his hands. So if I was allowed a moment of joy before death then I don't mind one bit. Besides, there's always a way around things. They don't know we know. It gives us the upper hand." he says. "I have no intention of running. I've wanted to all my life. I'm unchained by that man and I don't plan to take off without a fight. Shall we teach them a lesson about lies, Katsuro?" he asked him

Katsuro was still a little unsure as he plistened toj the others reasoning, but it made sense. He embraced the man, gently kissing his neck "play." He said in an low voice not relinquishing his hold on the demon. Finally allowing his sensible side too take over again he removed himself of the man and stood back slightly. "Let's show them they shouldn't mess with people." He said a glint in his eye.

Enjin smiled as he was embraced by the other. Once Katsuro was ready to head forth with the plan he glanced at the pile of gifts. "Alright as far as I know about the war a weapon from both sides were stolen. A sword from the angels and a blade from the demons. If its among the gifts it should react to us. Once we find it then we go to phase two of our plan." he said with a serious look on his face.

Katsuro looker at the small mound of things the twobofbthem had been vpbrought and sighed "this is going to be tedious." He apsaid, he had intended to open one a day and eventually remove all the rubbish and keep the nice things but I looked like that was sour oif the question how. Tying his hair back from his face to dtopo it annoying him he sat down on the floor motioning for Enjin to join him and started to unwrap the first item.
