He smiled faintly at his friends comment, until Nichoil started changing. In front of his eyes His love turned into...an angel! A beautiful, shimmering, star stuck Angel! He was stunned by the boys new look.

"Oh...my...god"

He breathed out..

He's....perfect.

Dameon expected this from Magnus, of course the change didnt phase him as much as it had Magnus. Since he had already seen it happen once before. What surprised him was the fact that Nicholi was advancing at to much of a high rate. And that worried him a little.

 

Nicholi groaned softly, his pure white wings quivering behind him for a long moment as he awoke. His fingers clinched lightly at his Sire. He wasnt aware of what had happened to him and it seemed that Itoshi had knocked the boy out. Otherwise, it would of been even more painful to him.

Nicholi- you have changed...your wings are a stunning white..

He told the youngling as he awoken.

How do you feel my love? Your not in any pain are you?

He ran a hand threw the child's hair, fawning over the vampire. He adored Nicholi even more

Nicholi raised a thin brow when he heard his Sire. White wings? He blinked as he looked over his shoulder. His eyes widened and his fingers clinched tightly to his Sire as his body trembled lightly. What in the world was happening to him?! Why was he changing so much?! Soft whimpers left his lips at the fact that he didnt know what would happen to him next, and he was almost afraid to ask what.

 

Dameon sighed softly as he sat back in his chair. "He can rest for the next two days, But after that... He needs to work on his powers." He paused for a moment before lowering his gaze. Itoshi will be holding him back if he feels as if Nicholi can not handle it. So we do not need to worry about Nicholi getting harmed. But Magnus, you and I need to be careful with him. He can do a lot of damage to us without him realizing it. He murmured into the man's mind.

Magnus saw how Nicholi acted when he saw his new wings. He quickly forced him to meet his eyes.

"Hey..it's okay Nicholi. Calm yourself. Change isn't always a bad thing my youngling. "

His thumb running across his lips.

He said looking at Dameon. His eyes fell back to Nicholi as he gently picked him up in his arms.

Magnus posed looking back at Dameon.

'What are you talking about? Damage?

He looked down at Nicholi. Could this boy be the death of him? His own love? He bit his lip.

"I'm taking him to my room. I'll return shortly"

And he left the room.

Dameon sighed as he lowered his gaze to the floor. He figured the man still didn't realize what exactly Nicholi could do to them with just one phrase alone. The DragonSlayer was known to use spells and ancient curses. He just hoped that Itoshi would help keep Nicholi from using those against them. No, he had faith in his little one. He knew that Itoshi would keep them safe. Nicholi is special, Magnus. He can use things that most vampyre could never imagine using in their whole lifetime. Curses, Spells, Powers... Not to mention the human heart that he bares. He can destroy us both without even trying to. But I have faith in Itoshi, He will keep the boy from misusing or using those powers against us in the wrong way. Do not worry about it so much, All you need to worry about is not getting burned by Nicholi's fire. Anything other than that, let me and Itoshi worry about the other stuff. He whispered into the man's mind. Almost wishing he had stayed quiet in the first place. But then again, he didn't want to be the one on the receiving end when Magnus did find out about the boy's other gifts.

 

Nicholi let a soft whimper leave his lips as Magnus had picked him up and carried him off to bed. His gaze flickering as he lifted it to meet with his Sire. "Ma-Master..." He whimpered softly. As if unsure if Magnus was upset or something.

Magnus heard and understood Dameon

Nicholi is special, Magnus. He can use things that most vampyre could never imagine using in their whole lifetime. Curses, Spells, Powers... Not to mention the human heart that he bares. The first time I saw Nicholi...He was so scared. He was on my territory underneath a dead tree in a graveyard, I didn't realize it at first but... I knew he was special. I'll try not to worry so much... but I can not lie...It is hard Dameon. I truly have fallen for this Angel in my arms.

He laid Nicholi down on his there bed. He smiled down at his love. Kissing his hand.

"What is it...do you want me to stay with you until you fall asleep?... I don't mind.."

Nicholi let a small whimper leave his lips as his fingers curled into Magnus' shirt lightly. He didn't want the other to leave him, with everything changing about himself. He was scared that the man was going to disappear from him, that he would wake up and that this was all a dream only to return to that nightmare of his former Sire. His eyes closed as he curled up. "Please... don't leave me, Master." He whimpered softly.

 

Dameon sighed softly. He knew what it was like for Magnus, being torn between two things all at once without some sort of answer for any of it. He himself had felt that way... or well, close to that way with his own Childe. I know... Just try not to worry so much. Try to keep him calm, it will help keep you from being burned. He whispered into his mind.

Magnus could read the boys thoughts. He smiled faintly as his youngling whimpered and curled his fingers into his shirt.

"I would never...Nicholi."

He slowly positioned himself next to Nicholi, laying beside him. He cupped his cheek gently .

"Nicholi... understand that your thoughts are not protected, and I can easily hear them...and this is not a dream..you will never..ever go back to your previous Sire. You and I are together...forever. Do not worry so much. That nightmare is gone...and done with~ "

He heard Dameon and smiled faintly.

Magnus now only focused on Nicholi as his thumb traced the child's lips.

"You are safe...and you are loved. I know your afraid about your changing but...sometimes change is a good thing. This may be for the better. Do not be scared.. I will always be right beside you,"

Nicholi's gaze flickered in the light as tears welled up into them for a short moment. Finding that his mind was an open book to Magnus, he whimpered softly and lowered his gaze almost shamefully for thinking such things. Nodding after a long moment of being told that this was not a dream. "S-sorry... I just, I don't know what I was thinking." he whimpered softly. Curling himself up to his Sire as he closed his eyes. "I just... Im afraid that if I change anymore, that everything else is going to change too." He whimpered out. He didn't want things to change between him and Magnus, not after what the man had expressed with him the night before.

"I know...but everything will be okay. Trust me"

He held Nicholi gently but protectively in his strong arms. He covered Nicholi up with a blanket. His eyes wondering over his youngling New pure white wings. His hand was gently combing threw the vampire's hair. Magnus was only focused on Nicholi and realized he didn't want to go on living if he could not share this life with him. He felt truly luckily to have found the boy... other wise...he would of never found love.

[Nicholi]

Nicholi whimpered softly as he was held in his Sire's arms. But he settled down, even though he was unsure of what was going to happen to him now. He eyes slowly closed on their own as he began to fall asleep, comfortably in his Sire's arms. His wings quivered in his sleep.

 

Dameon sighed as he closed his book and put it away. He himself needed to go out and get some fresh air, and ontop of that, he needed to feed as well. Keep an eye on him, I will return shortly. He said as he took off from the house. It had been three nights since he had last fed, but he knew that if he were to keep up with Nicholi he was going to have to have nourishment to keep from attacking the boy himself. He still smelled that of a human, well... closer to a human than a vampire could ever get.

Magnus smiled down at his love... trying to sooth him as he slept. When he suddenly heard Dameon's voice He listened.

Alright. Be careful.. I've been smelling something fowl in the air for some time...the stench of wild mutts-

He frowned. Werewolves were moving into the city at an alarming rate recently, Magnus had assumed it must be a pack or two visiting the city but...he wasn't completely sure.

Dameon knew what was coming for all of them, he had sensed it for a while now. I know... Just keep an eye on him. You will be safe, they can not enter the house without undoing the safeguards I have set. He whispered into the man's mind.

 

Nicholi curled up to his Sire. His face seemed so peaceful in his sleep. Nothing seemed to mark his face in his slumber, but did anyone really know if his dreams were all that peaceful all the time?

Quick thinking. Alright. Hurry back Dameon, and make sure no one follows you. Those dogs are hard to put down.

He sighed and looked down at Nicholi as he curled up to him even more. He looked so peaceful. He gently cupped his cheek. Leaning down to kiss the boys forehead. His fingers running threw his hair still. He wondered what his youngling was dreaming about.

Dameon was off within that moment. Being careful not to leave a trail from the house, no he needed to make sure that Nicholi and Magnus were safe. Besides, if the lycans had found his trail, they would be unable to break past the safeguards he had put up. Only those that knew the symbols could get past the guards. It was an old dark art, and it had been past down to him from his own Sire. Whom he was unsure where the man had gone off to after all those years. He wondered if the man was still among them now.

 

Nicholi hadn't really been dreaming all that much. It was almost as if he were in his minds realm talking to Itoshi the whole time. Learning new things at a rapid pace that it left his mind spinning. His wings in the phsycal realm quivered lightly ever few moments before settling down against his back. And the golden bands around his wrists seemed to be shining a bit more than before. Very few knew how hard it was for a DragonSlayer, only to die within a great battle if they had not learned to cope with their emotions, or had one they could hold onto.

 

~Mental Realm~

 

Nicholi panted hard as his fingers clinched at the dirt.

 

Itoshi's gaze narrowed as he watched the mistakes the boy kept making. "Again, Do it again. You have to be able to do this if you wish to live longer than the final battle." He whispered.

 

Nicholi coughed as his fingers dug into the dirt even more. "You think I don't realize this?!" He murmured loudly. Standing up, he make a few hand signs and drew a symbol into the air. The words that came from his mouth were in ancient tongues. Very few remembered the language of the old Vampyre. (Translation) "Itoshi... Release!" He hissed out, power itself pouring from his words. Releasing Itoshi from his chains that had held the other in place within his mind. It had been an exercise to keep Nicholi from being bound again with another curse. It also would help a great deal if Magnus had even gotten into trouble either.

 

 

Sorry, found out I have another kidney stone. So, replies wont be as quick as normal while I am loopy as hell. But still gonna reply as much as I can.

Magnus was flipping threw a old book. Reading in his head, but his eyes would often fall on Nicholi's wings. Seeing him fidget in his sleep. He sighed and ran his fingers threw the vampire's hair.

"There, There..."

He whispered, smiling down at him before looking back to his book and reading. Staying by the boys side.

Nicholi panted harshly as he fell down on to one knee, clinching his right arm. It seemed that spell had taken a toll on him, even in the mental realm. His physical body would show faint markings of that spell for a few days as they had already started to appear on himself.

 

Itoshi sighed as he seen just how much work he would have to endure before he would be ready for the next lesson. "Go back, Nicholi. Rest and recover yourself. I see I have tested you to soon while you're strength is still down from your last ordeal."

 

Nicholi nodded as he closed his eyes and made the descend back to his body. In the physical realm, his breathing grew rapid as the pain of his right arm started to come in. Damn it, Itoshi! You could of warned me about the releasing spell's effect! The words seemed to ring out in the room itself for a short moment before he grew quiet once again. His body relaxed as a calming sensation came over himself once again. But this time it wasn't from him, who was watching over him? To cause this feeling? He was to weak to even open his eyes enough to see who else was in the room.

 

Dameon even with him being so far away, he was still connected through Magnus as a precaution to make sure Nicholi was safe. He had heard the words and it rang in his ears. Causing him to stumble a little and grab ahold of a wall. He had just fed from three humans and was about to make his way back. So... it seemed Itoshi started the boy's training without him. He would have to speak to Itoshi himself the next chance he got. Clearing his head of the ringing noise, he began to make his way back to the house.

Magnus Was continuing to read until the room filled with Nicholi's voice.

He was startled and looked down at Nicholi. He put his book aside and cupped the boys sleeping face.

"Nicholi? "

He sighed and kissed the vampire's sleeping lips.

"Rest... I'm by your side."

He continued to wait for Nicholi to wake up and

Dameon to return.

It didn't take Dameon very long to return to the house. He had come in the back way and was careful not to disrupt the safeguards that he set over the house. The only way he wouldn't be caught in his own trap was to use a certain guard that only allowed the caster admittance into the place. He would have to remove the guards if Magnus or Nicholi wanted outside. He made his way towards the room, knocking lightly on the door. Even he was polite when it came to anothers personal chambers. It made him... somewhat special in that way. Even if he rarely did ever follow the rules. "I have returned... May I speak with him?" He said softly. Trying to keep any emotion out of his voice at the time, he wasn't sure what he was going to say to Itoshi. But he wasn't happy that Itoshi had decided to test the boy this early. "He is hurt, Magnus. And I must speak with Itoshi about this matter. He tested the boy to early."

 

Nicholi let a soft groan leave his lips as he curled up on the bed. Pain was still radiating over his arm and the marks were more visible than before. Itoshi should of known better than to have him learn that spell. It was one of the harshest spells on the physical body, and with Nicholi being as weak as he was. That was not the best idea right now.

Magnus sensed that Dameon had returned. His presence getting stronger and stronger as he grew near. He heard the man's voice out side his bedroom doorway.

"I have returned... May I speak with him?"[/Quote]

Magnus looked down at his lover suddenly noticing the visible marks on his arm. What happened to him? His youngling Was groaning and curling up in a ball... mostly likely in pain.

Dameon...

He was seconds away from questioning his friend until he spoke once more.

"He is hurt, Magnus. And I must speak with Itoshi about this matter. He tested the boy to early."[/Quote]

Magnus sighed-touching Nicholi's hurting arm...

Very well...come in..

He didn't look to his friend as he entered. His eyes only stayed on Nicholi.

[Nicholi]

Dameon didn't wait a second longer after hearing his friend. Making his way into the room, he kneeled beside the bed as his gaze lowered to the arm that had been hurt. "... He should of known better, I thought I trained him better than this." He murmured softly. "Keep an eye on my body while I am away. It shouldn't take but a few minutes." He whispered before closing his eyes and letting his body descend into Nicholi's mind realm.

 

~Nicholi's Mind Realm~

 

Dameon opened his eyes as soon as his feet made contact with the floor. Lifting his gaze to Itoshi. "You know better than for what you have done to Nicholi. It is to soon to test him, Itoshi." He murmured.

 

Itoshi sighed softly as he looked to Dameon and then nodded. "I know, Sire... But I thought..." He whispered.

 

Dameon lifted his hand. "You thought wrong, Itoshi. He is much to young to learn these spells just yet. You know the rules I had set for you when you were still with me. He has to learn the small stuff first. You realize that Nicholi now is harmed because of your foolishness. If you must train him the way you see fit, you will do it in baby steps. Not by throwing him to the wolves like you have blindly done." He said sternly.

 

Itoshi nodded. "Please... forgive me, I thought I was doing the right thing for him." He whispered softly.

 

Dameon sighed softly and shook his head. "Give him a few days to rest, let me train him on what I can teach him. After then, and only then you can teach him the spells that I can not do. That only the dragonslayer can do." He murmured. "I must go now before any damage is done within this realm. He said.

 

Dameon ascended from the realm with a loud gasp, His fingers clinched harshly at the pain of resurfacing from another's realm. It was never a pleasant feeling. After a moment he relaxed as his gaze moved over Nicholi's arm. "He will be fine, Magnus." He whispered softly.

Magnus nodded. Watching over his friends body, but his eyes mostly stayed on Nicholi... the boy he loved and cared for.He cupped the sleeping boys cheek and kissed his lips slowly. Before pulling back...that's when Dameon returned.

"Is He ok?! What happened! "

He will be fine, Magnus.[/Quote]

He relaxed after hearing that. He looked down at his love so happy.

Dameon sighed as he reached his hand over the boy's injured one. A light glow formed around his hand as he began to slowly heal the injury, it was the only thing he could do since it was from magic. Blood alone wouldn't heal it fast enough, not with the strain that Nicholi had just been subjected to. Letting his hand fall away after healing the major area's to the inner muscles. "Let him rest, Magnus. Itoshi was foolish to believe that Nicholi is capable of handling such magic without any proper training. He now realizes that it was a mistake on his part for not noticing it in the first place. I will be training Nicholi when I see he is fit enough to carry out the small amounts of training. But it will take some time before he is anywhere near the level that Itoshi was." He said softly. Standing from his spot, he had to grab ahold of the bedpost to keep himself from toppling over for a moment before he was able to get his footing. It took quite a bit of his energy alone to force himself into the boy's realm, and even more to come back from it.

 

Nicholi murmured something incoherent in his sleep. Curling up and clinching his fingers into the covers softly before settling down.

Magnus watched the vampire heal his love, and listened to him.

"I.. I see. Very well then."

Sometime's Magnus felt so useless. He couldn't do anything for Nicholi! It was always Itoshi and Dameon pushing things along. Helping Nicholi- all He did was sit by his bed side and nurse him! He felt like a mother... he sighed and stood up. Helping Dameon up and to his room. Knowing he was having a difficult time.

"I'll take you to your room..don't over do it. And thank you...for healing Nicholi's injury. "

He smiled faintly at him...But it was a forced smile...since he was really in no mood for happy faces.
