Kiseki was still wrapped up in his bed sheets clutching to his chest a stuffed rabbit when a maid came in to wake him for the day. After trying several times, the maid mustered up all her strength and yanked the covers off of him causing him to groan in disapproval and sit up tiredly. A clear mess of bed head and almost surrounded with stuffed animals. "Hn...? What time's it?" He mumbled out as he was ushered to the bathroom to wash up and brush his teeth. "Time to arise and- oh for christ sakes!" The maid said in frustration as kiseki fell asleep half way into taking his shirt off. She hurried from the room. "Mr. Suzu! You're brothers having one of those days again" she called lightly knocking on the others door knowing the other would at least be dressed already. Honestly the two were rediculous.

Sleepily, Suzu walked out into the hall and into the younger's bedroom. "Okay, okay..." Walking to the bathroom the raven picked up his brother by the arm and turned on the shower. Pulling the younger's clothes off, Suzu pushed his younger brother into the cold water. "Bath and get dress dweeb." Before walking out into the bedroom to speak to the maid, Suzu ran a hand through his hair. Geez, he's such a kid... Once in the bedroom, he walked up to the maid. "He should yelp in freezing agony any moment now, and he should be awake after that..." The maid smiled and nodded," Thank you Mr.Suzu, when he's like this, he's so hard to deal with..." "Tell me about it, I've known him my entire life." Chuckling, Suzu left the room and headed for the kitchen. I wonder what's for breakfast this time. The young man climbed down the steps and into the foyer. Walking into the kitchen he greeted the cooks. "Kiseki should be down soon," Spoke the brother lightly. "One of his 'sleep in' days I presume?" Chuckled one of the cooks. Smiling, Suzu nodded," He's ridiculous sometimes..."

non but a few minutes later a loud yelp could be heard and then a soft string of curses. "Thats cold!" he cried. he quickly turning it to warm water and then reluctantly washed himself and got ready for the day. as he made his way down to the kitchen he shot a slightly un happy glare at the maids. once arriving in the kitchen he lightly kicked his brother. "And you!" he started standing next to him. "how is that how you wake someone up? tossing them into freezing water. that's cruel man. so cruel." he finished when the servers eventually started going to the dinning room in which he followed and sat down. when they placed the assorted breakfast food on the table, kiseki bit into a cinnamon roll. "well damn...i have a job today dont i?" one of the butlers came up as if to answer his question. "yes, you have a major modeling job at 9. and then your manager wants you to pull into a audition at 3 to extend horizons. as for Mr. Suzu, you fortunately have nothing until later this afternoon so you should head to school." kiseki frowned slightly. "hnf"

Smirking, Suzu elbowed his brother's arm, "When that someone is you, and you're going through Hybernation- yes, yes it is." When they were directed to the dinning room, the elder brother followed, taking his seat across from his younger sibling. Placing food gently on his plate, Suzu began to eat slowly, taking a bite at the time. He was only partially listening about his brother's agenda. The only thing that got his attention was the huff his sibling gave. When the butler mention his name, Suzu, he looked up at the man,"Hm? Ah- yeah. Sure thing..."

 

The eldest of the Otsuka siblings returned to eating his food. "I think the modeling agency prefers you over me," Chuckled the elder man.

"im not going if he's not going" he pouted and crossed his arms causing the butler to frown. "Young sir, he can't go with you everywhere." the butler took away the agenda and as he left kiseki gave another huff and looked over at his brother. "there no way thats true. they only use me because im small." he said shrugging and standing up. "heyyyy-- youre coming with me right?" he asked tilting his head slightly as he went over to his brothers side where he crossed his arms. (mine will be short right now becaue im getting ready for school.))

Suzu chuckled at this, Small? Eh, maybe. You look mature for your age, although anyone who knows you, knows you're not. Taking a few more bites, he looked up when Kiseki him if he was going to join him. The elder man took a few more bites and stood lightly wiping his lip with the back of his hand. "Sure- But, only to drop you off. I need to attend History III and Analytics II." This was going to be strange, being apart from his brother. Sure, most people are use to being away from their siblings, in fact a lot wish to be; However, the Otsuka brothers weren't most people.

 

Lightly setting an arm on the younger's shoulder, the eldest of the brothers began to lead the younger toward the foyer," Well, we should get going, hmm?" As they stepped outside, Suzu dropped his arm and slid his hands into his pockets. "Remember, if this gig is weird in anyway, call me or text me A.S.A.P," spoke the elder man. Quickly, the town car pulled up and the brother walked around the back of the vehicle and hopped into the right back seat. Par usual, Suzu rested his elbow on the door and set his stare beyond the window.

Kisekis mood soured slightly hearing that the other was just going to drop him off. Why'd he have to go to school anyway? Sure they were told to go of course, but both of hem were smart enough as it was. Kiseki didn't think they needed it. In retaliation to his brother not going, he subjected him to the silent treatment the entire ride. Even after his brother informed him about calling him should somthing happen, which he shrugged off with a nod. The only time kiseki spoke during the ride was when he was telling the driver where they needed to go. "It shouldn't be too far fromwhere the last one was, maybe a couple streets over." He said and sat back knowing the driver probably knew where to go. But he needed something to do since he refused to talk to Suzu.

Quickly, the eldest brother noticed the childish game, it bothered him that his sibling still resorted to such childish punishments- but in all honesty, it was kind of cute. Knowing he didn't share his brother's beliefs in schooling, Suzu knew having an education for them both was important for their careers and their futures. Even if Kiseki didn't see that, he would one day make him see it. The ride to the studio was long, quiet, and in a sense peaceful. Once to the studio, Suzu grabbed Kiseki's wrist," Be safe. I'll see you after school... Please, call if you need me."

Kiseki narrowed his eyes slightly at his brother as they pulled up to the school. he knew that everyone wanted him to go to school, the only reason he still was going was because of those few days that suzu went with him. he gave a small groan of disapproval as he opened the door for school; when the other grabbed his wrist and told him to call if he needed anything he turned his head away slightly. "Id hate to call and interrupt your work suzu. if i have any major issues ill talk to my teacher. ill see you this afternoon." he stuck his tongue out slightly before turning away and walking into school.

As Kiseki walked out of site, the driver began to drive off. "Sire, if I may. You seem to have a strong bond with your brother." Nodding, the elder scoffed a bit," Yeah... With mom and dad never home, we only have each other, as cliche as that sounds." The driver nodded," No I understand, sir. Now where to?" Suzu sighed," To work I guess..."

 

Time flew quickly by on the ride to the gig Suzu had. Once inside the building, he began for his manager's office, ignoring the ogling and prying eyes of the models. Upon arriving at his destination, the man opened the office door and walk inside, shutting it momentarily. The manager was tall, thin, fit, and handsome- he himself was once a model for this very agency. "Ah, Suzu-kun. Please come in," Spoke the man with a tone of whimsy in his voice. "Don't get smart with me Ritone..." Scoffed Suzu. "Now what do I have to do for the next shoot?" The manager smiled devilishly.

"For the shoot suzu," the manager started as he ran his hands through his hair as his smile faded. "It'll be one of those more mature shoots for a magazine popular with the ladies. Seeing asit is a mature magazine they called for you rather than your brother. Ive work with both of you long enough to know that he looks mature, but is far from it." He sighed out. "Lets get you to make up and wardrobe shall we? " he said extending his arm to the direction of the dressing room. "By the way, how did your brother react to your sudden job pile?"

 

Kiseki drifted through the morning restlessly which was accounted for by his constant tapping of pencils and the ever so often unhappy look from his teacher. Although most worried looks were removed when he had effortlessly answered a question only 2 others had answered before him. With a huff he returned to his seat as the 5 minute break between classes started.

Suzu only stared at his manager, blinking. He hadn't done one of these since he was 15- and that not an event we want to revisit. Thinking to himself, the elder brother ran a hand through his hair in an exasperated way. "Nice to know they use me for my talent..." Standing with his manager, the raven walked in pace with his manager," He's not liking it, he'd rather I go to college with him. But, man's gotta work right?" Turning his attention forward," The fact you would put my brother in this situation bother's me, Ritone-san." Glancing up at his manager he blinked, furrowing his brow with curiosity,"Want am I doing for this shoot exactly..." As they walked into the dressing room, Suzu looked at Ritone. "So... How mature are we talking here?"

"calm down suzu, it's not like i purposely did this to him. the company decided to give him a separate manager starting tomorrow." he said sighing as he lead the other to the chair. as the people doing the dressing and make up started work he continued talking. "as for the shoot, today its not a magazine the requires too much skin shown. most of the shoot is just shirt unbuttoned or off. they were looking for someone who knows what they're doing. although looks were a major part too." ritone placed his arms on his hips. "look at it this way suzu, finish this greatly and they may use you alot in later issues." there was a slight smile.

"A new manager?" Suzu stands abruptly as the artist jump back," I understand you're busy, but I don't know if I can trust this guy! Who is he? Give me a profile, and a background check!" Maybe this Otsuka was protective of his brother? Who knows. Realizing the scene he just made, the raven sat back down and sunk into his chair. "Ritone... I swear by my career, if anything happens to my brother, you're the second person I'll see..." The manager gain a defensive expression," Hey, I'm doing this for you-" Growling," Well undo it then! I don't need to model, besides, Kiseki is better looking right?!" Once the room got silent, the eldest Otsuka realized all eyes were on him. Shuffling in his seat he buried his face in his hands," Sorry... I worry to much..." Scoffing Ritone gave a low blow remark," Yeah- Worry anymore and we'll start thing you're more than brothers." Suzu shot a glare at his manager, but was he really so far off?

 

Before long, the shoot had begun, Suzu still a bit angry- but it added to the serious expression he was so famous for.

The delicate way his eyes were shaped, always giving him those soft- longing expressions. The way his lips turned into dimples when he'd grin, or how his nose crinkled when he'd snicker. He may not have been the most attractive out of the two brothers, but the manager was right about one thing- he had the skill. As the photographer began to give signal for then to begin, the raven walked onto the shoot floor, staring at the camera as if it was the love of his life, and damn... He could make love to that camera like no other- well, except Kiseki. Suzu held his body profile while running a hand gently through his dark luscious locks, and just as the fan turned on, his button up began to flap softly in it's gust. Slowly he began to turn his body towards the camera, his head going 3/4ths, then profile as his lips parted ever so faintly- eyes focus at the ground as if missing something that was not longer with him...

as the shoot went on, pleased and hopeful looks were passed around and ritone could be seen exchanging words with the second in command of the shoot. judging by the facial expressions the two were sharing, it was a good conversation that would confirm the fact that they wanted to use him again next time. it was maybe 30 minutes to an hour after that, that the shoot ended and pleasantries were exchanged as well as a fare well. Waiting outside the shoot room ritone waited until suzu was ready to go and came out before speaking. "good work today suzu, there really isnt anything else until later tonight at about 9 or 9:30. if you want we can go grab your brother from school and go get lunch." he offered knowing that the younger of the two brothers was probably without a doubt on his lunch break.

 

Kiseki had gone through the next two classes with little interest, in fact, towards the last 30 minutes of the bell before lunch, he stated that he was going to the nurses office. he didnt of course and skipped out on the rest of class deciding to talk a walk instead. he wasnt really infamous so he didnt need to go about with too much appearance change other then a pair of sunglasses. he went down the school steps, skipping every two until he reached the bottom and placed his arms behind his head. he then decided as he left campus that he'd hit up the new bookstore that was nearby to see if they had any new graphic novels.

Having his soul stolen by the camera, it was secretly all Suzu ever needed. Knowing his face will make someone somewhere happy for eternity. Once the shoot was over and the make-up and clothes were removed, the Otsuka model left the room only to be met by Ritone who was waiting for him at the door. Currently, Suzu was wearing a jean jacket, white cotton tee, and dark denim jeans- and of course sun glasses. Pulling the glass over his hair, Suzu walked in stride with his manager. "Lunch with Kiseki sounds like a good plan- Wait... I have a gig at nine? Tonight?" The raven didn't have plans, it just seemed so... Late.

Ritone nodded his head as he started making his way down the stairs. "I swore that i had one of your butlers relay this to you this morning." he sighed out, for a minute or two the only thing heard was the two walking down the steps and eventually out into the streets where a limo was waiting for the two; seeing as ritone had decided not to drive today. holding the door open he glanced back at suzu. "If it's a problem i can have rescheduled for tomorrow morning." he said helping the other into the car.

Shaking his head, the eldest Otsuka climbed into the limo," It's no problem. I'm sure Mitsuki told me like you asked him, I was sorta out of it this morning..." Once Ritone was inside the vehicle, the raven began looking out the window like he usually does. He had been thinking, being shirtless really isn't a reason for Kiseki not taking this shoot today. It's only a shirt afterall, I mean they go topless to the beach right? Lightly rubbing his lips in thought, Suzu turned to Ritone. "Listen. We've been working together ever since... That time. So, be honest with me, why didn't Kiseki do today's shoot? Going shirtless has never been a problem before. And why get him a new manager. You never had a problem juggling us both over the past three years- or is it something higher up?" Maybe the Otsuka was asking to many questions, but unfortunately, he wasn't getting anymore answers.

Ritone raised his hands in his defense after he got in the car and it started moving. he decided to answer the others questions to the best of his ability. "lets start with your first question, 'why didnt kiseki do todays shoot?' the answer to that is rather simplistic, you are the older of the two, and therefore have been doing this business longer then kiseki. they were not just looking for someone with looks, they needed someone who was skilled and had a lot of experience. you had both." he said narrowing his goldish purple eyes slightly. "Your second question, 'why get him a new manager?' that question doesn't have anything to do with my personal ability. in all honestly, your parents decided that it was time to have the two of you split up. according to them, you are both old enough now to have your own managers." he sighed out knowing how that answer was probably going to sound. knowing that both brothers disliked having their parents meddling in their affairs when they themselves are never home.

 

Kiseki was lounged out in a chair infront of the new book store with a stack of graphic novels that he bought. mind you, these were two stacks with at least 7-10 books in each. all were from his favorite manga series' that he enjoyed. he assumed he could get introuble by his brother about skipping the rest of today, it wasnt his fault he was bored and disinterested.

Sighing, the raven nodded in an reluctant agreement, maybe their parents were right. Maybe they need to learn to be apart, it won't be easy, but it should be done. The ride was long and boring, no other words exchanged. The raven's eyes trained on the scenery beyond the window, looking for something interesting, or maybe even beautiful. As they drove, Suzu noticed an old temple that seemed to be etched into his memory. Ah! That's right! Just seven years ago, the Otsuka brothers went to a festival there, one with cherry blossoms and yukatas. There was an older lady there that told Suzu's fortune, those words...

 

"One day you'll look upon the ocean, sparkling as it walks before a glass that would steal their soul- a terrible event will unfold, and then is when you'll fall in love with the blue waters that float across the ground..."

 

Before long, they arrived at the school, Suzu pulling out his phone and texting his brother. "Kiseki, We're out infront of the school to pick you up for lunch, where are you?"

kiseki was packing the books into his school bag when his phone went off. he hesitated to look at it knowing the probability of it being his brother. he hadnt had time to get back to school before the older was done with his morning job. "well damn." he said before pulling out the phone and reading the message. he chewed his lip, oh this was not going to go over well. he could lie. but then again, there was no way he would get into school again without being caught. he inwardly groans as he responds to the message. "uhm...im not at school; actually, im at the new bookstore a few blocks down. i swear i can explain >A

As he waited for a reply, the raven looked out the window and towards the school, expecting Kiseki to walk out any moment now. His eyes studied every student, searching for his brother. Quickly his phone pinged, signalling that he had received a text. Glancing down at his phone, Suzu's head fell into his hand, "Kiseki... You need to keep studying... Damnit boy." Giving a sigh, the raven promptly replied to his brother, "I'll reprimand you later, let's just get food." Suzu sat up," Driver, drive up the block for a few minutes..." Ritone looked at Suzu with a smirk," Kiseki skipping again?" Nodding, the eldest Otsuka huffed," Per usual." Once in front of the shop, Suzu got out of the car and stood by the door, attracting the attention of young passerbyers. "Kiseki, let's go..." He spoke, some teens fawning over the model- what silly girls.

kiseki starred at the reply for a few minutes. "oh. im so screwed later " he whined slightly and knocked the back of his head on the wall a few times. really, he always got himself into these situations and hardly ever got himself out of them. the sunglasses he was wearing slid down to the bridge of his nose, exposing his slightly multicolored eyes. really it was just that his left eye had a brighter version of his right eyes color. seeing his brother pull up he slung his bag over his shoulder, looking over at the girls he gave a small glare and his eye twitched. "hnf. okay..." he said following after his brother into the car and sitting down. "if you keep skipping, you parents are going to notice. " the shorter of the two glared slightly. "Shut up Ritone."

"Kiseki, this needs to stop. It wouldn't so bad if your grades were better, but their not. College is important-" Sighing, Suzu pushed his glasses up, rubbing his temple. "What am I saying, it's not like you're going to listen to me..." Looking up at the younger Otsuka, he met his eyes, a stern expression. "Just get your shit together, Kiseki. I can't always be there to kick you in the ass when you need it most..." Ritone only watched the two, chuckling, "Sometimes, you two don't even sound like brothers." Before long they arrived at "Shu-Gen", a five star restaurant in the downtown area. The brothers didn't usually splurge, but if they go out to eat they try to go to higher classed restaurants to avoid the public's annoying and prying eyes.

 

As they pulled up to the establishment, Ritone hopped out first, running around and opening the door for the brothers. Suzu was never really sure why his manager always did this for them, he treated them like princes, and sometimes when Suzu and Ritone are alone outsiders take it the wrong way. Stepping out, Suzu pulled his glasses off, running a hand through his dark locks. "Come'on Kiseki, I'm starved."

he flinched hearing the other go off on him abit, it stung hearing that. it stung abit more when ritone mentioned that they didnt look like brothers; what did they look like then? his mood soured as the drive continued till they eventually reached the restaurant. he didnt respond to suzu's comment, he just got out of the car and ran his hands through his dark hair. "at least we'll be somewhat secure here...last time we went out to eat suzu's fangirls practically rushed him." he mentioned absent minded to no one in their group of three in particular. "honestly it was like someone declared open season." he left out the memory about his own fangirl/boys that nagged him. he walked up to the doors and held the door open. "elders first"
