Cloudy with Rain

Shrio 8:19pm

Shiro sat alone and quite on the side of the railroad tracks waiting for his designated train to arrive. he was going home to his family for the first time in maybe 2 - 3 years. he'd run away when he was younger, although he was able to take care of himself, even has a job audition for acting and music, and he didnt have to go home since he was 20 now, he decided to face the people he had run from. he looked dead if you only looked at him once or twice. his eyes didn't have much light or life in them, and his expression other then when he was messing with music or acting hardly changed from a dull, apathetic state. anyone would assume he was a dead man walking. and in a way, he was. He really didnt want to go home where he was labeled 'weak', 'worthless', or 'unacceptable'. But he wasnt as scared as he was before because they couldnt do anything to him now.

Cloudy with Rain

Korian 8:18 pm

Korian was currently flying overhead, unseen by any of the measly humans below. Boredom was overcoming him, and the demon was looking about for his next victim. He wasn't sure who he wanted now. Maybe a young teen girl, with small worries. No, that'd be too generic. Perhaps a serial killer, who wants to be free? No, too annoying.

Korian shook his head, his black hair slick with rain. His black wings were weighed down a little from the water, and his bright orange eyes scanned the ground for someone worthy. After a minute, though, he flew over some train tracks, nearly missing the man that sat there. Slowly, Korian circled above, before landing behind the young man, still invisible to him. His navy blue hair contrasted with his skin tone and golden eyes, and Korian saw something like death in his eyes. This person looked as if he wasn't alive, although Korian knew he was. He saw sadness and fear swirling around him.

Purposefully, he took a step forward, snapping a twig. He snapped his wings from sight, forced his eyes into a bright green color, and made himself visible to the human eye, waiting for the other to turn around. This could be fun. But first, he needed a little more than just appearance.

Shiro

Shiro, hearing something like a branch snapping , or anything snapping really, turned his head and tilted his head upwards so that his hair slid out of the way and his empty golden eyes starred at the other man. "you must have heavy feet, or a heavy body...even if you hadn't broken something i could have probably heard you." he said before turning back around even though the apathetic expression never totally left his face. "and sneaking up on people isnt nice either. " he added as he stood up, noticing the train approaching and a flicker of second thoughts flashed across his face. he had told himself that he was gonna do it. but his families manor was up a hill even after he got off the train, and he wasnt even sure how they would react seeing their 'trash' son.

Korian frowned at the reaction he received. Not a frightened look or a quick turn. No gasp of surprise or glare. Korian sighed, but shook off his disappointment. After all, this only gave him more reason to investigate.

"I wasn't sneaking up on you," he said nonchalantly. "I just didn't make any noise when I was coming here. Waiting for the train and all." He walked up beside the other, looking at him from the corner of his eye.

"I'm Korian, by the way," he said chattily. "Do call me Kori, if you like. Pleasure to meet you... Um..?" He trailed off, silently asking for the other's name. His emotionless expressions were intriguing.

Shiro starred forward as the doors opened. "im shiro. " he replied stepping forward and stopping the door from closing. "you getting on?" he asked in perfect melancholy. it wasnt as if he could not express emotions, he didn't WANT to express emotions. he shot a quick glance at the conductor that was yelling for people to hurry up and board with it being the last train of the night. again he looked back at Kori. he wasn't fond of strangers, but he didn't dislike them, and if the other wanted to ride with him, he wouldnt mind. it would give him someone to have some sort of conversation with. although he was planning ahead with the knowledge that the other my get bored with him because of his attitude.

"Well, then, pleasure to meet you, Shiro," Kori replied. "Yes, I will, thank you." He climbed on, nodding to Shiro for holding the door. Kori quickly took a seat, sliding down to the window, glancing at Shiro.

"Will you sit with me, Shiro?" he inquired. "I'd very much like some company." He smiled genuinely, tilting his head slightly.

Shiro threw himself onto the seat and laid down as the train started moving. he rolled onto his side and looked at Kori. "where are you headed to?" he asked gently as he slowly closed his eyes and just listened to the sound of the train and the rain that was hitting the windows and seemingly bouncing off. he wondered why he bothered asking about the other male because it wasn't like he was going to see him again. not that he wanted to, this was just some creepy stranger after all. "anywhere in particular? or just out for going anywhere?"

Kori laughed as Shiro practically jumped onto the seat, laying down. This guy definitely had character, despite his appearance. He thought about his answer. To be fair, he really hadn't been going anywhere, just trying to find a new person to make a contract with. After all, it was Kori's specialty. He shrugged, the movement of the train relaxing him and the sound of the rain like music to Kori's ears. He leaned back into the seat, the slight vibrations like a massage for his hidden wings.

"Ah, see, that's my problem," Kori said, looking at Shiro. "I don't have anywhere to go. I just thought a train might take me somewhere interesting, you know?" Which wasn't a lie. Transportation like this could certainly take someone to very intriguing places, to meet very intriguing people.

he started thinking about the faces of those who would be waiting at home and he started laughing. he had some mental problems, sure, not like his parents 1) Cared enough to get him help and 2) He wouldnt have gone anyway. "Ha! you wanna see some interesting people? come with me to see the horrible trash called my parents. " he said lost in his vision of all the possible blood he could shed there. almost all of his family resided in that manor and surely including the servants, it could be fun. his smile faded back to an apathetic state rather quickly and he sat up and pressed his back against the side of the train.

Kori raised an eyebrow as Shiro laughed. , certainly a character, Kori thought with a smile. He saw the smile on the other's face, and Kori figured it was a rare thing.

"Sure~!" Kori replied enthusiastically. "I'd love to meet them. Although, I'm not sure if you should refer to your parents as 'trash'. In any case, I'm sure it'd be curiously fun." He watched Shiro, wondering if the navy blue boy had been serious with his invitation, as he sat up.

he nodded. however after that, he didnt speak anymore other then small murmurs of things he felt like calling his parents. Kori didnt understand, nor did he need to per se.

Cloudy with Rain

Shiro's Family Manor 9:58pm

shiro hopped off the train and starred up to the top of the rather eerie hill that led up to his families manor. as he waited for Kori to join him, he let out a small sigh as here there was really no protection from the rain. his hair began to plaster itself to his head and face, forcing him to pull his bangs back into a small ponytail. "never thought i would see this damn place again, its been 2-3 years since ive laid eyes on this place. hopefully it'll be my last."

"Two or three years?" Kori asked, as he appeared silently beside Shiro. "Don't think I've ever heard anyone say they haven't been to see their parents in that long." He smiled.

"Not that it really matters, of course. I haven't seen my parents in, oh, maybe four or five years?" he said, tilting his head as he thought. Really, it had been around three hundred since he'd seen them, but that was not something to say.

"So why haven't you visited?" Kori asked. "Seems like a decent enough place." He began to walk towards the manor, curious.

shrio hurried up ahead of Kori and lead the other male up without getting caught in circles and the trespass traps that were set up at night. his parents had set them up for unwanted visitors and Him. they pretty much trapped him there. his sister hadn't minded, she was the goody two shoes who was at their parents beck and call. "All you need to know at the moment is, i hate my parents, they think im a disgrace, and are probably mad i ran away." he said at they reached the top. one of the maids had seen him and hurried to get his parents. he gave a small 'tch' sound of distaste and walked up the front steps where after a minute or two, the slightly aged faces of his parents stood in front of him and his sister who was a year or two younger (he couldnt remember) was rushing down the stairs at the news he was back.

"Shiro. after all these years, you come back now?" his mother said rage and distaste dripping in her voice.

he lowered his eyes and glanced away. then his father spoke. "Come in and get dry, and get changed, then come to my study." he ordered and in a reluctant nod from shiro and him and Kori were inside and headed upstairs.

Kori watched these things with hard-to-contain curiosity. He wanted to ask more, but he knew when to stop. So he simply followed the leader, heading upstairs with Shiro.

"So... Who all am I meeting?" Kori asked Shiro quietly, looking around. It looked as if Shiro had a younger sister. But then, maybe there were others?

"For the time being? You'll be in my room until I return from my dads study. I wouldn't worry too much. Actually. After I visit wkth my dad, one of the maids I favored when I was little will probably bring up something for a snack since we missed dinner. And boy am I glad I missed dinner." He said as if he wasn't worried about what could come to pass in the study, it'll be just him and his dad so it wasn't like he'd have his ear scolded off by his mom. When they got to his room, he was slightly surprised it had remained un touched since he left. A butler brought him and kori a change of clothes in which he wasted no time changing into

Kori frowned at what Shiro said. He'd never answered his question. Nevertheless, he nodded. He assumed he would meet them with time. He wondered what would have happened, had they arrived for dinner. Surely there would have been plenty of amusing tension. In fact, all of this was amusing to Kori, but he certainly didn't show it.

When they reached the room and were given clothes, Kori took his with a low bow and a smile, receiving a strange look in return.

"Looks like manners aren't as appreciated as I thought..." he murmured. He held the change of clothes in his hands, not moving to change. He sat on the bed, watching Shiro instead. There were many mysteries surrounding him, Kori knew, and he wanted to learn them all.

After changing shiro left and went to his fathers study wher shiro found him waiting. There was not time wasted as his father started talking as soon as he came in. "You're a disgrace to this family you know this right?" He said turning from his desk.

"Not a disgrace when I left because of the abuse you-" a rather harsh punch was thrown at his face and he fell over. As his head settled and his eyes focused again, his father spoke. "You can still be forgiven you know. If you beg our forgiveness, maybe we'll allow you to come back" shiros reponse to that was to spit at his dad who then proceeded to kick his son.

Rage started bubbling undernith his apathetic expression and he left the room, throwing the door open, and slamming it closed. A flurry of curses flew from his mouth as he threw his bedroom door open. "I wish those basards were dead. Every last f*cking one of them." He said kickking at a wall and then going to the bathroom n the room to wash his face.

The moment Shiro left, Kori removed his wet clothes, stretching out his wings for a moment. Luckily, they seemed to have dried. He folded them back in and threw on his new clothes before he ventured towards the study.

But when he looked in, all he saw was Shiro being punched. Kori was curious, but the study door was open wide, so he quickly disappeared back into the bedroom, just in time, too.

Not but a few moments later, Shiro barged in, saying something about wishing them all dead and kicking a wall. When Shiro had gone to the bathroom, Kori decided. It was time.

Slowly, Kori approached the bathroom, peering inside.

"Shiro...?" he asked quietly. "What happened? Why did..." He paused, unsure if he should continue the second question.

Shiro was fuming. It was a good thing he was build strong enough so that the impacted area would only hurt till tomorrow afternoon. "It doesn't matter. All that matters is that b*tch and her bastard husband can die. And should I have had the power, id f*cking kill them myself. And everyone else in this stupid manor. Then id be able to go home, and distroy anything or anyone else that prevents my music carrer from moving forwards. I'm so done with being classified as weak" he finished his rant and let out a sigh, feeling abit better from letting it out.

Kori knew what he wanted to do. He wanted to learn more. He wanted to know what made Shiro feel this way. He placed a hand on the other's shoulder, making Shiro face him. He needed to be serious and calm.

"Shiro," he said quietly. "If you could, say, make a deal with someone, to be able to achieve one goal, like being successful, or finding one person in particular, would you do it? If you were offered the ability to kill anyone in the way of that goal, or at least cause them to disappear, would you take it?"

By now shiros apathetic face had returned and his empty eyes slightly furrowed into a glare that fit in with his favored expression as he answered. "Yeah. I f*cking would." He said shrugging the others hand off and lightly pulling past kori to the bed where he fell to a sitting position and undid his hair. He was drained of almost all energy by now but forced himself to stay active. "Why do you ask?"

Kori followed Shiro into the bedroom, a grin on his face. So he would make a deal, would he?

"Because," he said, "I can make that deal with you." He looked at Shiro, seriousness in his eyes. He wouldn't reveal his wings and full demonic form unless necessary.

"You tell me you big goal - maybe it's to catch a murderer, or to publish a novel - and I'll stay with you to help you. I can't do it for you, but I can assist you along the way. Getting rid of the people in the way, if you deem them to be. So, what do you say?" He looked at Shiro with a small smile. He wondered what the other would think. Would he think he was lying?

Shiro closed his left eye. "As much as id love to believe you're lying. Most of me is all for you telling the truth. If you could do that, id probably be so happy. And maybe id smile for once in my life." He said noticing the others smile. Something was off, but he couldn't figure out what exactlly and that slightly frustraited him. Knowing something was off yet not being able to pin point what it is. "As for what I want? To acomplish my dream and murder everyone here. I can't think of anything else other then an acutal friend or something more"

Kori smiled, sitting next to Shiro. He leaned in towards his face, about an inch away.

"Okay, think," he said. "Even if I am lying, just think. What is the single one thing you want the most? Something that might take a while to accomplish on your own. Think really hard. And then tell me." He watched Shiro closely. He didn't want the other's goal to be done so soon. If he made the deal, the minute it was done, he would have to kill Shiro. He'd never learn a thing.

"Although, you could still choose to kill everyone here. That could be your goal. But if that is it, then I suggest some procrastination. Get ready. Make a plan." He added this last speech as a sort of insurance, so that even if that is what he wanted, he would be able to spend enough time with Shiro to learn what he wanted.

"I just want to acomplish what I ran away to do. Play music and have people love it. Get paid to do it. Parents would be just a bump in the road to demolish." He said finally after some thought.he wasn't the murder out of anger person, more of a ill kill those who get in my way person. "I wanna be famous for my music" he ended rather softly as he fell back on the bed and curled up slightly.
