The tiny armies had a lot of trouble quelling the insurrection from local peasants and farmers who were not happy with the way the king ruled. There are a lot of rumors floating around. No one can pinpoint the exact reason the war starts, even the instigator was killed in the aftermath without being given a chance to explain. One of the biggest questions when looking back at the war is why this man started the uprising. He was a noble, a very well off noble with a high position in the kings court. Until the start of the war he was considered almost family to the king and hence when it was all over he was given capital punishment with no trial and his family cast into disgrace and exile. History books claim he started the war due to a dispute with the king over how the peasants of the kingdom should be treated, despite his close family and friends knowing that he was a strong supporter of the king in all aspects. The other members of the court refrain from speaking of it as everyone who does seems to vanish, they will all support what the books say. A young lad visits the capital on a tour of the libraries, hoping to find something new on this, something he had not read before and he seeks entry to the palace. It is now a new king on the throne and this lad who is the only son of the insurgent leader from 20 years ago seeks the truth. What really happened? what was the true cause and does he truly want to know. After gaining permission to get into the libraries there he meets two people, one is the new king someone about his age and also seeks the truth, they both knew each other as children and both find that it is strange. The other is an unusual man. He moves strangely and only shows himself occasionally. Talking very little and when he does in riddles. The lad can't figure out who this man is or why he is allowed in the castle but takes and interest in everything unsual he finds in case it gives him the clue he needs. General Info Looking for a new rp partner, I do love my current partners but kinda wanna try rping with someone new ^^ I am looking for a paragraph minimum reply with decent English, not looking for perfect. Also Smut. I will want to write smut so please be okay with writing it too ^^ Your character will be the son of the insurgent and mine will be the Strange man. At a push it could be a 3-way rp with someone playing the young king. As long as when he was young he was old enough to remember the war and his father he can be what ever ago you like. Obviously if you have him above 35 he doesn't really count as a lad anymore or a child when his father was alive. I am looking for Seke or Seme's to join the rp mine is going to be a Seke. If your character is good might accept an uke My Character - Details are deliberately vague and will be revealed by the progress of the plot so that Meta gaming is kept to a minimum, if you need to know anything specific for the story to progress then ask privately. Its not much but i am trying to keep the mystery there for readers and my rp partner. ^^ Name: To be revealed Age: Also to be revealed Position: Seke Appearance: He is a man, normal height of around 5ft 9. Pale blonde hair a few shades lighter than gold that in some lights can look as pale as the dry, sun bleached sand covering the beaches during the summer or as dark as the shadows around him. The hair falls just below his ears and when left naturally sits in a wavy style that frames his face. His eyes portay an amazing breadth of knowledge and are a deep blue colour. Often found smiling he looks like he is no older than 30. Background: As much of a mystery as the rest of him and anything he tells people is all in riddles. Personality: Careful, speaking to few and when he does it is in riddles which can often infuriate. If you want, we can make it more... severe and dramatic if the king is not so interested in 'finding the truth'. After all, he has to do what it is in the best interest of the kingdom, which is, as you've described and as I've understood, the truth not to be revealed. Then how about sticking with the idea of the king being curious, helping Luther around, and then maybe his family finds out what their son has been doing and interdicts him to go any further. When his family will ask him if there is anyone else also doing this, he will deny and save Luther's ass. Maybe at some poit in the story, the King will have to chose between himself/the kingdom and his relationship with Luther. What do you say? Btw, who will be playing the king? You?
