"Mom I'm really happy for you. I'm glad you got married to someone that you fell in love with." I smiled at my mom and hugged her gently. She was really happy and I was too, from what I heard I would be having a brother who is my age. Sweet, maybe he'll be an alright kid. I was excited to be moving in with my mom's new husband and I couldn't wait to meet his son. Though I've met his father I've never met the boy himself, never even seen a picture of him. Oh well when we got the boxes into my new fathers place I looked around amazed the place was cool... I saw the boy and waved at him, "Yo, I'm Hiroki." I smiled softly at the kid. He looked to be around my age so maybe we would have things in common...

Alex was rushing around the house cleaning up the place for his father new wife and her son,he wasn't all the thrilled to really have a brother cause usually the new kid always stole attention away from the parents but there was also a pang of excitement about wanting to meet him. As his father told him to head upstairs to get a shower he heard the front door open and he grabbed the railing on the stairs,turning his head to see a boy smiling and waving at him a small little smile appeared on his face and he waved back not replying socially. His father stepped around the corner "Ah you and Alex have met,good I hope you two get along. Hiroki go and help your mother unpack while Alex takes a shower" He touched his shoulder and gently tugged a little.

I smiled and nodded at my step father. "Sure." my mother and I went back outside and brought in the rest of the stuff, when everything was finally in I smiled at my mom. "You must be really happy mom to finally get to move in with your husband." My mother smiled at me and nodded.

"Hiro-chan don't act like you're not happy about it either." My mother gave me a playful shove, it had just been her and I for 8 years so I was really happy that she finally found someone that wasn't and abusive bastard. "Hiro I want you to get along with Alex okay? No fighting and no being an ass alright?" My mother looked at me and begged.

"Of course Mama, I would never do that." I kissed my mom's cheek softly and hugged her. "I'm just glad you're happy."

Alex ran upstairs and without another hesitation he got undressed and started the shower,and stepped inside. After about fourty five minutes he was clean and stepped out wrapping a towel around his drenched body, and made his way to his room where he knew he had to share it with his new step brother. He wasn't thrilled at all but at least he would no longer be alone in the bedroom,as he walked inside he noticed his father was setting up his step brothers bed next to his and he smiled "I will help when I am dressed" He got clothes and put them on quickly. His father nodded and continued working on the bed.
