Snow started to fall from the darkening sky on a very late night and it covered the ground and the trees,literally everything. By in the morning it was cold out more than that night and a young male was asleep in an abandoned shed just on the outskirts of the town,covered in snow. Raven was the boys name,shifting a bit nervously under a small blanket he continued sleeping being out all day searching for a job.

"Why do Mr. Daniels have to invite me on his rest house on the outskirts of this town? We're just going to sign up some papers anyway." A man mumbled under his breath as he drove his car with knitted eyebrows. The terrain was already dangerous and complicated to begin with, and the snow was adding onto the problem, making the ground twice as difficult to drive on by a car. There were slippery slopes in the area which made the young man drive more cautiously than before.

 

The black-haired man, also known as Hitomonji Jin, is the owner of Hitomonji Co., a company well known for creating and releasing the newest platforms of technology in Japan. Young as he may be, his family encountered a tragedy which slightly left a scar on him. Considering that fact, he strove to become the best successor his family will ever have, and thus, with the young age of 23, he became the leader of the business.

 

Jin drove a little faster when he reached a flat road. When he was about to take a left turn, he saw a figure laying down on an abandoned shed. Jin could see a thin and overused blanket covering the figure, and being sharp and intelligent as he is, he already knew then that it was a person. He parked his car near the trees covered with snow and immediately ran towards the abandoned shed.

Turning over under the old torn blanket his uniform was all dirty from sleeping on the filthy flooring since he got left behind from his previous boss. He was rather thin too,not having money to buy food so he didn't starve and not a place to keep warm from the storm. His jet black hair was tinted with dirt but the rest of him was okay.

 

Gripping the torn blanket tightly in his hands he heard the sound of a vehicle near by and suddenly jumped up as he heard footsteps walking towards him. The sounds of the crunching snow made him get chills all over his body,and he gulped a little nervously. Brushing off the dirt from his black and white butler suit and moving back into a dark corner chewing his bottom lip scared.

Jin slowly approached the abandoned shed, carefully taking his steps forward to avoid slipping due to the ground covered with snow. He still haven't arrived at the shed when the figure moved and jumped out of the covers. Jin was slightly startled by the sudden action of the figure, only to witness a young man with mucky features. Jin sighed out of a relief when he finally took grasp of the situation.

 

So it's just a homeless boy, huh. Seeing how the young male hide in the dark corner of the small, abandoned shed with a horrified expression, Jin felt compassion towards the unfortunate boy. Jin slowly went inside the abandoned shed as he tilted his head to avoid his head bumping onto the shed's roof. "Hey." He gently called out with a smile to avoid scaring the other one further.

Seeing the male enter the shed a lump in his throat finally slid down and he took a step out of the darkened corner and waved slowly. He checked the guy out before he decided to speak "Hello sir,is this your shed? I'm sorry if I intruded" Bowing to him quickly he was raised to bow down to his elders,a small smile on his lips still watching him.

 

Pushing his hand through his jet black colored hair and looked around the shed shyly as he continued to dust off his suit. His green orbs wondered toward the door and saw the white snow falling and like a little kid he darted outside and jumped into the snow chuckling.

Jin went dumbfounded when the shorter male who looked weak, poor, and unfortunate flashed a smile at him and professionally bowed down to him as a sign of respect. He never expected that a young boy who's homeless could be so respectful even towards the strangers. Jin smiled back. It totally peaked his interests.

 

Jin was about to greet the young boy back until the young boy hastily went outside the shed, only to find him adoring the snow which Jin found troublesome. So he's still just a kid afterall. Jin stood up and went outside and during that time, he finally figured out that the young boy was a butler when he saw the uniform clearly by the daylight unlike in the dark shed where he could only see the clothing vaguely.

Raven picked up some of the snow and made a ball,looking at the older male he dropped it on the snow covered ground and bowed once more watching. "Sorry sir I just love the snow" He treated this male like he was his new boss,he seemed to want to follow him home.

 

His green eyes trailed off towards the vehicle as he felt eyes watching him other than from the male in front of him,he felt scared. "Excuse me sir are you looking for a butler or know of someone?" He held his hands feeling how cold they were he pushed them into his pants pocket.

Jin chuckled when he saw the playful side of the young male he just met. It was good to know that someone like him who stayed in just an abandoned shed with just a tattered blanket can still bring himself to play like that. Playing with snow like it's his first time would make people wonder if he's ignorant or what- but Jin thought that the young male was cute, playing with the snow and all.

 

"It's okay." He answered when the young male said that he love the snow. Jin caught the other male's terrified gaze, and to make it gone, Jin flashed a smile. The young male spoke again, this time, asking something. A butler? Jin really wasn't in need of a butler. He has many maids on his home, and he doesn't know anybody who is in need of one. But even so, he can't just leave the younger male for some reason and he unconsciously replied "I need a butler, actually."

Watching the older male smiling he nodded after he was told he needed a butler and felt honored that he was going to take such a young male into his home,but never the less he needed this job and wanted to show him he was good at it. With a smile in return he faced towards the vehicle that the male arrived in,and swallowed a little lump that had formed in his throat again then brushed it away and headed towards it. "Allow me sir"

 

He bowed and opened the door for him after he reached the vehicle,looking over towards the older male walking over. His green eyes looked his new boss over,every detail of his body and clothing he liked what he saw. But then he remember that was his boss and couldn't do such things with him,he barely knew the man. His thoughts went to wondering how rich this man was and how desperate he was for a butler,but would ask questions later after he started his job.

Jin was glad and relieved that the young man, who's going to be his personal butler sooner, accepted his offer without any problems. Considering that the young man felt scared and aware of him, he thought that he would be reluctant, but on these days, as long as you get a job the easy way, Jin understood immediately.

 

While Jin headed towards his car, he caught the young man looking at him observantly using his peripheral vision. He smirked as he saw how much the young man looked at him with such curiosity and desperateness. "Follow me." He gently said as he finally reached his car.

Raven watched the man for a few moments before he was asked to follow him,without any objections he simply followed right after his new boss as if he was a natural at the whole butler thing. He wasn't used to people being nice,he was used to strict bossing, and orders.

 

Standing right behind Jin he glanced around as it began to snow much harder and he thought for a moment "Sir should we walk or just wait out the storm it's getting worse out here" He said in a soft yet nervous tone,but he knew this man was different he didn't seem like the bossy type.

Jin almost went inside the car until he heard the young butler speak. Jin turned around and noticed that the snow was getting worse. Remembering the terrain from before, Jin sighed and leaned on the hood of his car. "You're right. Hitting the complicated road with the snow getting worse is dangerous." He replied to the young man. "Walking is not an option, I'm afraid."

 

Jin was about to offer the young man to go inside the car and sleep for a moment until the snow gets better, but he knew that the young man likes to observe the snow. "Let's stat at the shed for a while." Jin offered as he held the young man's wrist without thinking and walked towards the shed.

Raven nodded his head a bit before he followed after his new boss feeling him grip his wrist. He really had no choice,he was going to be rude and pull away when his boss had offered to guide him. He watched the snow fall and stuck his tongue out catching snow flakes on his tongue.

 

As they reached the shed he looked over at his young boss with a friendly smile and pointed to another blanket in the corner. "Sir if you're cold please use that blanket to keep warm" He gripped his bosses wrist as well and waited.

Jin lowered his head again to avoid bumping the roof of the shed. Being tall is quite a nice aspect in a certain man, but it also puts some disadvantages along the way. He sat and looked at the direction where the butler pointed out. He saw the blanket the young man was referring to. It was neatly folded, but the quality of blanket is just poor. It was thin and kind of tattered, but even if he's a rich man, Jin isn't fickle nor choosy.

 

But Jin flashed a smile on the young man instead of grabbing the blanket. "Would you rather I wrap your arms around you and keep both of us warm?" He asked. It wasn't really because he was teasing the other male. He just wanted to become closer to him.. and he doesn't know why.

 

There was something in that young butler that shook up Jin's interests.

Raven bit his lower lip as the taller male asked to wrap his arms around the boy,he nodded and sat down in front of his boss and reached over also tugging the blanket over to keep his toes warm. The shoes were tattered an had small holes in them and his feet got cold easily but he ignored it. Looking up at his boss he gently pulled him closer.

 

Raven closed his eyes and tried to think of a warm place so he could keep himself warm without actually freezing to death. His hair fell into his eyes and he was soon relaxed,and leaned into his boss waiting for the older male to warm him,but knew he was focused on something else,not wanting to be rude and force him to do anything.

Jin felt glad that the young male obliged onto him. It wasn't particularly an order as butler, but the older male just had the certain urge to do so. When he felt the shorter male pull him closer, he wrapped his arms around the young male and rested his chin on top of the young male's head.

 

It was great how the young man smells nice even if he stayed at the abandoned shed for how many days.. who knows how long. Jin noticed his butler uniform. There were scratches and torn parts, and his shoes were overused. He felt sympathy for the younger male, until he noticed that kept on referring to him as 'he'. "What's your name?" Jin asked as raised the younger male's chin and lifted it up a little to face him straight-on.

Raven felt the older males arms around his body and he felt so warm,he was over joyed that this man could make him feel like this,it was new to him and his old boss would have hit him if he got to close. He blushed as he snuggled right up into his warm embrace not caring to much that it was a guy he was snuggling into.

 

When his boss lifted his chin his face heated up and he bit his bottom lip nervously and smiled "Raven,sir" He was never given a last name,his parents just called him raven but never knew why they called him that. He stared up into his bosses eyes and gulped quietly.

Jin smiled when the younger male tensed up while answering his question. He thought of him as someone cute- and peculiar as it is, Jin wanted to protect the boy. "Raven.. What a nice name." He told the green-eyed boy as he gazed into those innocent orbs. Jin felt the warmth crept on him.

 

"I'm Jin Hitomonji on the other hand." Jin introduced himself. When he mentions his full name to people he doesn't know, those people immediately know that he is very wealthy and is someone who has a high status in the country. Jin doesn't want the younger male to know immediately though. He doesn't want him to feel the pressure of serving someone with a high status like him out of a sudden.

Raven glanced up at his boss and smiled sweetly when he heard the man say his name was nice,he blushed and watched him.He then looked back at the floor and started to think for a few minutes of what else to say to the man who was holding him so close to his warm body,but there was nothing else he had to say honestly right now he felt safe and nothing could ever bother him.

 

When he heard the man introduce himself as Jin he nodded "Pleasure to meet you" He smiled and pushed himself up into the mans lap sitting on him,where he buried his face in the mans warm and great smelling neck. He acted like a little child but he knew no different,being raised as pretty much an orphan his entire life not knowing his own parents obviously. Listening to the mans heartbeat he began to fall asleep,all warm and comfortable.

When the young butler snuggled onto him closer as he buried his face onto his neck, the older male smiled and held the younger male closer. The master was glad that he, at last, made the scared boy feel safe around him. The master hugging his servant like this was a very unusual sight, but he didn't care, Jin just.. he has the urge to protect the young male.

 

The wealthy man could hear the butler's slow yet soft breathing. He knew by then that he was sound asleep, and it made Jin happy, knowing that he was a comfortable human pillow. He caressed the young man's hair, sometimes playing with it, until he noticed that the heavy snow started to turn into that of a light one's, but he felt guilty about waking the other male up.

Raven was surely sound asleep on the mans lap gripping his shirt in his hands but was a light sleeper if he was moved or anything he would wake right up. He shifted a bit but suddenly felt a cold wind blow on him and opened his eyes,he thought his boss had left but then felt warm arms still around him.

 

He turned his head sleepily towards the male and yawned "What is it?" He asked in a soft tone while he began to rub his eyes sleepily,and glanced around the shed and then noticed the snow had slowed down a lot and he was happy they could go to his new home.

The young butler woke up, and it startled the older male a little. He pulled his hand away from the younger male's head as he was patting it just a while ago. "The snow slowed down. Are you fine enough to travel already?" The master asked with a kind voice. The older male was too considerate. In this current society, a man so generous like him is a rarity- but not quite.. He is a money spender, buying material things which he found amazing.

 

Speaking of material things, the older male thought of something. "I want to stop by the mall and give you new clothes and stuffs. You can't say no." The young male said as he smiled widely, as if he was anticipating it. He wanted to be the one to pick the clothes for his cute butler.

Raven looked down at him with a small friendly smile and nodded his head,he was ready to get out of the cold even thought he loved snow he hated the cold weather and wanted nothing to do with it. He turned and headed out of the shed onto the snow covered ground and glanced around the place and enjoyed the view a lot but when the wind blew it felt like a thousand knives bitting at his skin.

 

He grabbed his bosses hand and tugged him up and then headed straight for the car that was covered in snow,he took his sleeve and started to wipe the snow off slowly and hummed a little. He blushed when he glanced back at his boss "Sorry for scaring you when I woke up" He looked at him and smiled faintly.

Jin patted his butler's head. Really, the young boy was thinking too much. He thought that he startled Jin when he woke up, well, maybe a little, but it wasn't really much of a big deal. Seeing a young boy get so comfortable with him as a body heater was already fine enough. At least he could be useful in some other way other than power, influence, and money.

 

Feeling the warmth of the young butler's hand gripping his', Jin smiled and guided the young butler into the snow-covered ground. Heading onto the car's direction, he was being careful not to slip because of the ground. He unlocked his car and told the young butler to sit on the passenger seat.
