Another day, another dread. An irritated sigh parted the male's lips as he raked a hand through his hair. As of late he had grown rather bored of, well, life. Not that he was tired of living, mind you, it was simply that his day to day existence had become so...monotonous. Most people liked to have a routine of sorts, some semblance of a structured life. Perhaps that was why he'd accepted the job offer to teach here, for structure. The problem was, he could only take so much of that. Yukiya liked spontaneity, you see. He loved conflict. Anything to bring excitement to his mundane existence.

That was when it happened, an ordinary event which the male was certain would lead to an extraordinary experience. The stack of books fell from his arm as someone collided with his shoulder. No doubt they were either in a hurry or not paying attention...possibly both. "Watch where you're going!" He growled before crouching down to pick up his books. His eyes shifted to view the perpetrator a moment later, he couldn't help doing so when he felt those eyes boring into his back. "Did you need something?" The young male wasn't there for long though, he didn't even bother to bend down and assist Yukiya in cleaning up his items. "Gee, thanks for your help...." He muttered before standing back up with his books nestled under one arm.

Kids today, no respect for their elders. Or manners. At least he was cute. It didn't excuse his actions, but maybe if they met again he could have some fun.... It wasn't like he would be preying on some underage kid, this one was in college, and he did need to spice up his life. Maybe this male, whoever he was, could be the next in Yukiya's line of playthings.... A smirk played across the teacher's features at that thought. The problem there, however, was determining who it was that had bumped into him.

Gentarou continued to stare in shock as the teacher left, not even caring for the sarcastic comment he gave. Despite his bad demeanor, he looked pretty hot, at least to Gentarou's standards. He had long ago accepted the fact that girls weren't his cup of tea and had fully accepted his homosexuality once he learned the term. College was much more hectic than he thought it would be. He found that he had not a moment of rest in life, always running from one building to another to go to one deathly boring class to another. That was what his freshman year was. Today was the first day of his sophomore year, and so far, he hadn't sensed any change at all.

What an ass... Didn't even give me a chance to pick up his stuff. Gentarou picked up his textbooks and continued running. His next class was Drawing II with Yukiya Nakamura. He hadn't heard much of this particular teacher except for his being in the art department, so he figured the experience would perhaps bring some much-needed pizzazz into the mundanities of his life. He ran to the large brick building that housed the art department and went to Studio 310 and was shocked when he saw who was at the front of the room.

I-It can't be! That asshole from before is my teacher?! he thought.

When he opened the door to the classroom, Yukiya noted that there were already students gathering within the room. He had a basic idea of how each one would act based on their general body language. There were the goody two-shoes sitting perfectly upright, eyes focused straight ahead for whenever he began, the slackers who sat in the very back and were conversing with friends, the ones who thought this would be a bird course.... He sorted through the crowd of students in his mind, marking down his initial impressions of the lot. Hopefully they would be better than the last class he'd had.

Yukiya strode to the front of the room and turned to face his students. He couldn't help the smirk which formed upon his features nor the amusement in his eyes when he spotted one student in particular. It was surprising that he'd missed him initially...maybe he had just come in? Well, whatever, this made his search that much easier. After a moment, he diverted his attention to the class in general and dropped his books upon the desk. The thud echoed throughout the room, drawing all eyes to him. He wasn't the type to try and call his class to order. No, Yukiya found that surprise was the best tactic to bring silence and order.

"Good afternoon class," he began with a polite smile, "Welcome to Drawing II, I will be your teacher for this class. Now, if Drawing II is not the class you are looking for, I suggest you double check those room numbers. If you're looking for an easy class, I suggest you leave now as well because I refuse to accept any half-assed work." He smiled inwardly, noting a few students who seemed to want to leave already. It was best to weed out as many slackers as he could now. "That being said, shall we find out who's here?" He began to read names off of a piece of paper which sat on the desk, checking off those who responded in some way.

Gentarou looked around the room for friends, seeing some in the front and others in the back. He settled on sitting in the middle. A safe ground between the teacher's pets and the goofballs. A good place to hide behind people who did work while still looking better than those who goofed off. It was also a good spot to watch the teacher's movements, to see what he was planning to do. Not that looking at the teacher was his top priority... Once roll call was being announced, Gentarou was taken out of his reverie. He took out his new set of drawing pencils and sketchbook, placing them to the side of his workspace and listened for his name.

Yukiya noted Gentarou's position, since he had been particularly interested in the male. Of course, having him as a student had it's pros and cons but Yukiya could make it work. A devilish smile crossed his lips for the briefest moment, yes he could definitely use this to his advantages. As for the consequences? Well, he would just need to be careful there. His eyes flickered from the paper to Gentarou as he called out the names, curious as to witch would give him the boy's. He scanned the rest of the room too, but his main focus was the one who had bumped into him.

"Gentarou Tetsuya." It felt like it was taking an eternity to discover the boy's name. When he finally received an indication that this was, in fact, the one who had run into him earlier he smiled, tucking the information away for later and drawing a small star beside the check mark. Once all all names had been called, Yukiya handed out his syllabus in stacks to be passed down the rows. He went over the papers, highlighting key points for them to be aware of before announcing that they were dismissed. He normally didn't do much on the first day. No, the real work would begin during the next class and from then onward.

As the students were preparing to leave, he called out one more thing. "Gentarou, could you stay after class? I have matters to discuss with you." Most assumed it was something related to the class itself, and he would let them believe it since that would make his life easier. He waited until all of the other students had left to close the door and return his focus to the other. "So, do you make a habit out of bumping into people and not apologizing or was I a special case?"

Gentarou responded when his name was called out and the teacher looked his way. Looking at him again, Yukiya really was beautiful. The messy mop of brown hair that hung over one of his eyes and that devious grin he wore whenever he looked in the blonde's direction sent a strange chill through his blood. Once he was done reading the syllabus handed to him and was about ready to leave, Yukiya called his name, making him straighten so quickly it almost hurt him. The second year turned around to face his new teacher with a confused expression.

"What do you mean by that? It was an accident, and I..." Gentarou's voice faded slowly as he realized that no matter how much he tried to defend himself, he would just be digging himself into a deeper hole. "I-I'm sorry. I was caught up in the moment, and I was afraid I was going to be late for class, so I ran before I could help."

The teacher chuckled inwardly when he saw Gentarou stiffen. So he remembered their earlier encounter...good. Yukiya arched a brow as the boy began to speak. Excuses, excuses.... "Accident or not, that doesn't make it okay for you to go knocking people over and forgetting manners." The other male seemed to come to the realization that his argument was pointless. When Gentarou did apologize, Yukiya nodded his head and smirked. "You need to be more careful. Considering it was my class you were rushing to, barreling into me isn't exactly going to help it if you do wind up late." His fingers tapped against the desk as he let his gaze take in Gentarou's full figure, a small, devilish smile appearing upon his features. "How do I know you're actually sorry and not simply saying empty words though? Can you prove your remorse to me, Gentarou?"

"I... I'll stay with you after class to help clean up! O-or something like that!" Gentarou almost shouted. He was acting completely on instinct now, and he remembered that teachers liked students who helped out for the class. He was taken completely off-guard from Yukiya's almost amused reaction to his weakness, and a red hue spread over his face. Trying to conceal his embarrassment, he wiped his brow. He couldn't be finding this teacher's attitude... sexy, could he?!

Yukiya chuckled at Gentarou's declaration. Was he nervous? Did he, perhaps, find Yukiya intimidating? Or maybe there was something else causing the boy to feel so nervous around this teacher.... "Well, I suppose that will work. Before and after though. You will help me set up for class when necessary and also clean up afterwards." It was a start and with Gentarou staying after class to help. Yukiya was sure he could have found reasons for this particular student to stay later class, but now Gentarou had provided him with an easy solution. All the better since it had been the blonde's suggestion.

Yukiya knew a blush when he saw one but since Gentarou didn't seem to want him to know he decided to pretend he didn't. His features contorted into that of concern. "Are you alright Gentarou? You look a little flushed...." He stepped forward, cupping Gentarou's face in his hands and placing his forehead against the boy's. A frown pursued his lips as he moved back. "You don't seem to have a fever.... Do you have any classes following mine?" Of course he knew Gentarou wasn't truly sick, but Yukiya would use the situation to his full advantage.

Gentarou was put at ease when Yukiya decided to accept that proposition he blindly made. However, he still felt like the teacher was just toying with him and not taking him seriously. He felt from the other students' reactions to Yukiya that this teacher was hard to fool and willing to keep attacking a weak spot to get his opponents to bend to his will. However, something about that attitude he found... attractive. All his life, Gentarou knew that women weren't his cup of tea. They were too flimsy in his opinion, always bending to a man's slight touch and never letting their own thoughts flow. He appreciated men with power and assertiveness. Men who would get their foes on the ground and still kick them while they were down. Men who could take advantage of any situation and produce results that favored them. Men who wouldn't take "No" for an answer and continually push until they found a way to overcome their hardship. Some part of Gentarou's brain seemed to desire a man who would take charge, and it seemed that Yukiya was pushing all the right buttons to get that to show.

"Will I start today?" Gentarou asked after the agreement was made, but then he couldn't ask any more questions when Yukiya gently brought his forehead against his own. What was that man up to now? This must be the side that pushes buttons until the right response is achieved. Trying to hold his ground, Gentarou silently tried willing himself to not blush, only to have his blush deepen in tone.

"N-no. You're my last class." Gentarou said. "However, for today in particular, I was planning to go to the Gaming Club meeting two hours from now."

Yukiya glanced around the room after hearing Gentarou's question then chuckled and shook his head. "No, not today. We havn't done enough to warrant a clean-up yet but we will next class." The teacher sighed and shook his head at his student's response. Extracurricular activities were all well and good, but he couldn't let Gentarou go if he was sick! It just wouldn't be right. "You look flushed, and if you're sick it's best that you go home. You wouldn't want to get any of your fellow club members sick, would you? Besides, it would be bad if you're condition got worse."

Yukiya motioned for Gentarou to follow him and started walking towards the door. "Do you live on campus or commute? I can give you a ride or walk you back." Despite how concerned he seemed, Yukiya did have ulterior motives. One of two things had to happen in his mine. Either Gentarou had to admit he had been blushing, which would have been fine with Yukiya, or he would find out where Gentarou was living right now. Both options would leave him content for a little while. Yukiya had his mind set on Gentarou right now and that wasn't about to change any time soon. He always did whatever he could to obtain what he desired and this time would be no different.

"I... I live on-campus. I'm in a suite by the computer science hall." Gentarou said. He noticed that Yukiya was being unusually nice to him, which he felt was strange after the teacher's initial cold reception. What could he be planning? Why was he suddenly being so caring? Was it just him trying to behave more like a teacher so that his coworkers wouldn't think anything of him? He didn't know for certain, but he kept an eye out for anything suspicious.

"If you're offering to walk me back, I'm fine. I don't feel very hot, nor do I think I'm very sick." Gentarou continued, pulling away from Yukiya to head out.

He lived on campus? Damn. Yukiya had half hoped that Gentarou lived in an apartment off-campus since that would have been easier for him to stop by and bother the other, but oh well. He would manage. Making Gentarou stay after classes was one way and he would find others to monopolize the student's time. His conscious mind returned to Gentarou and the comment he made. Yukiya frowned and shook his head. "And what would I do if you suddenly passed out on the way there?" The teacher questioned as he followed behind Gentarou. "Better safe than sorry, don't you think? Besides, it's not like I have anything else to attend to right now." He clearly wasn't going to take no for an answer, no matter how much the other male might want him to. "And, if I don't come, I'll probably just worry about whether or not you made it back safely until our next class. This way we kill two birds with one stone, so to speak. You get back safely and I'll have some peace of mind."

Gentarou felt anger boiling in him, especially when he realized that Yukiya made a valid argument. This teacher was stacking up to be the bane of his existence, and the mere fact that he had to deal with him for the semester brought him indescribable rage. He used to be known as the "Invisible Boy" in school since he got through all of his years of schooling unnoticed by the bullies and annoying kids. For Gentarou, encountering Yukiya was the worst way to break this streak since the man seemed to behave like a leech. However, he knew that burning the leech in a fiery outburst would do him no good and simply play into Yukiya's hand. Frustrated and at a loss, he simply glared at the other.

"You really don't want to leave me be, don't you?" he said. "If you're going to be like that regardless of what I do, I may as well let you escort me to my room. After all, the Gaming Club does have a livestream coming up tonight, and I can explain myself there."

Yukiya grinned happily as Gentarou glared at him. Clearly, he was getting to the other male and that was enough to spark his mood at least a little bit. "Not in the slightest." He answered with complete honesty when Gentarou questioned him. He could get as angry as he would like, Yukiya didn't back off easily and this student had given him plenty of opportunities to force his way in. "So glad you see things my way, Gentarou. Now, if you had just accepted this from the start we could have already been on our way there." Then again, he wouldn't have enjoyed himself as much as he did right now if that had been the case. "A livestream, huh? Sounds like fun."

Yukiya opened the door and motioned for Gentarou to lead the way. "So what do you do at these meetings anyway?" He asked, walking backwards in front of the student so that he could see the other male's reactions. It was ever so enjoyable to see the many faces he possessed. "Don't tell me it's just a bunch of nerds sitting around and playing games? Or is there something more you do?" Of course he was prodding to see just how far he could push Gentarou. The student was already irritable but how much would it take for him to snap.

Gentarou tried to tune out Yukiya's blabbering about the Gaming Club being full of nerds. He had gotten that a LOT when he first joined and told his friends about it. He hated how much flack they all got as a community just for a select bunch of people's tendencies and actions. Gentarou didn't consider himself much of a nerd, but he could get along with them. In fact, he made a lot of friends like that from his involvement in the gaming club. Trying to hold his tongue and be polite with the teacher, he sighed.

"Not all the time. We also hold campus-wide tournaments in various fighting games. I remember last year, we had a huge Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 tournament to celebrate the end of finals. We also use tournaments to do fundraisers." he explained calmly as he began to walk to his dorm.

Yukiya puffed out his cheeks in a pouting manner when Gentarou ignored his comments and simply let out a sigh. That was hardly the response he had been hoping for from the student. Well, he would just need to find something else to use against the other male. Surely he would be able to find a touchy subject for Gentarou at some point over the course of their semester together. Hopefully it wouldn't take too long. Given time he would probably discover quite a few touchy topics for Gentarou.

The teacher spun around on his heel to walk beside Gentarou. He arched a single brow as the student mentioned tournaments they had done. If they were doing campus wide tournaments and even using these for fundraisers then the tournaments had to be fairly popular. "Really now? And these events attract a decent amount of attention I presume? Or is it mainly people from your club? How big is your group anyway?" Yukiya inquired, adding the last part after a moment. Maybe he could sneak his way in by pretending to want to see the livestream Gentarou had mentioned.

"We attract all sorts of people. We've had tournaments between entire clubs before. The vast majority of our participants hail from either our club or Computer Club, but we get participants from all clubs. However, we get spectators from not just all clubs but also the general public." Gentarou responded. "The Gaming Club is about 17 people large. We're a medium sized club, but we attract a lot of attention outside the club."

Gentarou continued to look at Yukiya, a little wary of his behavior. Why was this man so hellbent on getting to know him? Maybe he was friendly, but a little aggressive about his methods? He didn't think that making friends with someone required much assertiveness. He chuckled at the thought of someone aggressively trying to be friends with another but stopped himself when he reminded himself that that was simply called being annoying. And Yukiya was doing a good job of it. At least he didn't say more about the gamer stereotype. That got on his nerves greatly, regardless of who brought it up. He'd even gotten mad at his best friends for assuming that gamers were fat nerds. But this man was really pushing his limits. Slowly but certainly.

The teacher clasped his hands behind his back as he listened to Gentarou speak. Tournaments between clubs? Which clubs would those be? Before he could voice the question, Gentarou had already answered. Yukiya couldn't help but smirk upon hearing the boy's answer to his unspoken question. People from the Gaming Club and the Computer Club? That was quite, well, stereotypical. So how many of their participants were from other clubs? He didn't imagine it being a large number. Now, spectators were a different story, any number of things could cause such people to pause and watch the tournaments. So were these people regular spectators or just people who happened to grow curious when passing by?

"Seventeen, huh? That is a rather nice sized club, I suppose. How much of the attention your club attracts is from people genuinely interested versus those who are merely passing by and curious?" Questions, questions, questions. They were an excellent way to keep the boy talking to him, so long as Gentarou continued to respond. Besides, the more he conversed the less, hopefully, Gentarou would be on guard, and who knew what he could get into when the student was relaxed. Maybe he would be able to sneak into his room to prolong their talk, or he could find out how to access the stream Gentarou had mentioned. Oh, the mischief he could cause with that....

Gentarou couldn't help but remain suspicious of his drawing professor. All these questions were getting a little annoying. And weren't they going to head off to his dorm? He felt like they'd been walking forever, despite the fact that he lived on campus. What was up with this man? Was it just because he was new that he was so friendly? No, it couldn't be. The stereotypical new teacher was usually excessively bubbly, to the point of being almost childish. He sensed none of that from Yukiya whatsoever. It seemed like he was always scheming. Though he had to admit that that made him look really attractive... Wait, what was he thinking?! That was what Yukiya wanted from him, wasn't it? He wanted Gentarou to admit that he found him attractive, didn't he? Determined not to let him have his way, Gentarou pushed thoughts of the teacher's looks to the side and tried to focus on where they were going.

"Well... We generally have a good retention rate due to the nature of what we do. About 96% of our applicants at the beginning of the year stay for the rest of their time at the university. The other 4% are the kinds who are involved with EVERYTHING, even if they don't necessarily care for it." Gentarou answered, looking around for his dorm before looking at his watch. 4:14. The meeting was probably already underway. There was no sense in rushing to the campus center now. He then pulled out his phone and quickly emailed the president saying that he'd be in the stream later that night. "The computer science building should be coming up soon."

Yukiya was surprised by the retention rate the club had, though it also caused him to wonder how many people applied. He chuckled lightly when Gentarou commented about the other four percent, yes he knew those types all too well. "I suppose they'll learn eventually. When it gets too hard to keep up with every single club, you know? Or they'll end up running themselves ragged trying to." He added the last part with a shrug. Some tried but all of them eventually failed, it was just too much to keep up with.

The male inched closer to his student when Gentarou withdrew his phone to send a text. He was curious what message was being sent and to whom but if he looked over it would have been obvious to the other what he was doing. Yukiya tilted his head to one side when his student mentioned that they were coming up to the computer science building. "Is that where your meetings are held?" Why else would Gentarou mention such a thing? "Weren't you going to join a stream?"

"The only time we use the computer science building is if we have a tournament for a PC game or everyone just wants to play a PC game that day. The CompSci department has graciously set a large computer lab aside for us to use when we like. I mentioned it in that case since my dorm is near there." Gentarou explained, getting more irritated at his teacher's barrage of questions. Though he was perfectly healthy coming in, he felt a slight headache coming on. His hand went to the bridge of his nose as he tried to endure the growing pain. Thankfully, he had Aleeve in his dorm, so the headache wasn't a major concern for him. He spotted his dorm near the larger building and turned in that direction.

"It's over there." Gentarou said.

Although he had asked the question, Yukiya wasn't much interested in Gentarou's answer until he mentioned that the building was near his dorm. How convenient. The teacher arched a brow when he saw the other pinch the bridge of his nose. "Something wrong Gentarou?" Was he giving the poor boy a headache? Oh well. The man's head turned as his student pointed the building out but he continued to follow the boy. "I see." He smiled lightly, walking slightly ahead of Gentarou but backwards so he could see the other's face. "What about that stream you had mentioned?"
