Tetsu Posted May 18, 2014 Share Posted May 18, 2014 At the 2014 Dengeki Game Festival, it was announced that the much awaited second season of the very popular anime "Durarara!!" is in production. The staff of the first season will be reprising their roles in the upcoming second season although Brains Base, which produced the first season, has not been credited. The second season of the story will be adapting the the second arc of the light novel series by Ryohgo Narita with Suzuhito Yasuda doing the art. This will be a part of celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Durarara!! series. The release date of the anime is yet to be confirmed. The light novel series ended on January this year but Narita stated he will begin a new series under the name Durarara!! SH. The first volume of the new series was released on April 10th.
