Envy
Once Nicholi was in his lap, Savain, placed a hand around his waist, and the other under his chin, guiding his face up so he could look him in eyes. Seeing his expression much clearer, the older vampires features softened a little. “It'll be over soon.” he assured him. The hand on his chin softly glided down his neck to this shoulder. His long fingers brushed back the others dark hair before he tugged the collar of his shirt open a little more. Then hand around his waist now slipped around him, his arm pulling him closer until their chest were pressed firmly together. His gaze then left the fledglings, and fell onto the pulsing point in his neck, letting his instincts rise to the occasion, Savain sat up, his taller frame leaning in until his face was buried into the crook of the younger males neck. Taking a deep breath, he took in his scent, his lips brushing ever so slightly over the smooth skin before they pressed into it. The warmer flesh made his pulse thump higher as he slipped his other arm around the smaller male. Running his lips against his neck, they finally parted, and his fangs sunk into the tender flesh. The blood made a small noise sound from the back of his throat as he began to draw from the other. His heart rate began to match the other vampires. First fast, then slowly they started to slow, and he fed until the fledglings heart rate was so slow he could hardly feel it. Pulling away, Savain moved his own head raising a hand up he slit his own skin, deep enough that blood welled up immediately and he pulled Nicholi close maneuvering his face into that same spot. “Drink Nicholi.” he encouraged lowly in his ear. Nicholi
Nicholi found himself being startled just a little when a hand had been placed around his waist. His gaze flickered lightly as his chin was being lifted so that his gaze would soon follow to meet with the man's. His emotions had betrayed him, and it was easy to tell this man had seen just what he felt. He was frightened, not of Savian alone, but of his Maker. Still the words reached his ears when the man tried to calm him down. Trying his best, he sat there on the man's lap and forced his gaze to stay on the man's. Normally he would of just lowered his gaze and told himself that he would be alright living on his own. Yet, the past turn of events had shown him that he in deed could not bare the existence without the knowledge that he needed to possess. But in order to gain that knowledge, he needed a Sire that would be there to teach him. Being pulled from his thoughts with a flicker of his gaze. Not distinguished on what emotions had flickered, it had been a mix of emotions, fear.... anger... sadness... guilt. But what had he to be guilty of? He was the one that had been pushed away in the first place. So why now? Why was he feeling guilty? Once again his thoughts shattered into pieces when he suddenly felt the hand being guided down his neck and shoulder. Gulping a moment before his gaze once again found the man's within the fog that had started to clear from his mind. He fought against the urge to move, unsure of what the outcome of this would really be. Worry shown in his eyes at first before he pushed it away from himself. No... He needed to trust this man to do what was right. Afterall, this man did protect him from being killed in the first place... right? His gaze darted away for a quick second when the hand had been slipped around his waist, only to dart them back to the man when he was pulled so closely towards him. That he could of sworn he could of felt the man's heartbeat. But it was when the man released his gaze on him and moved towards his neck that he stilled. He remembered the pain of being bitten and torn open so roughly that even the transformation had almost been a loss. He waited, forcing his body to stay still instead of moving away from the fear of the unknown. He had almost forced himself to use his voice, if the man had waited any longer. But he knew that he had no voice in the matter. This man was the one that was agreeing to this, he only had the choice of letting the man do it. Only because his Maker is a cruel man that only sought after control over everything else in this world. Tears welled up into his eyes at the thought of the man, He still didnt understand why the man had pushed him away in the first place. As seconds ticked by, his heart rate increased to almost the rhythm of a hummingbirds by the time the man had bitten down into his flesh. A soft muffled whimper left his lips as he bit down on his lower lip harshly at what he had expected to be an agonizing pain that would course through his body. But instead, he was surprised that the pain had not been no where near as bad as his Maker's bite had been. Still a little painful, but no where near as bad. He could feel his own rate rate beginning to decrease the more the man drank from him. Taking the very life essence of his body. It was when his heart rate had been almost finished off that Savian had detached himself. Nicholi's lips barely parted as small trickles of blood ran down his chin from where he had bitten at his lower lip. A soft thread of sound left his lips in a groan. He couldnt remember closing his eyes in what had happened to him, maybe it was the numbing affect of being bitten that caused it. But he could barely move, let alone speak. Being maneuvered into a position that would allow the blood to move past his lips. At first, he had been unable to latch onto the wrist. Almost to weak to even feed properly from this man, that was until a few drops of blood that had made it past his lips. The words that came from Savian had him swallowing what he could, it was a slow feeding at first. The crimson liquid painted his lips by the time he was able to latch onto the man's arm, biting down upon the wound that was already there trying to get him to take the life he needed to stay... somewhat alive. His eyes shut even tighter as his fingers began to clinch at the wrist, low groans mixed with something else, growls maybe? It wasnt clear enough to know. By the time he was getting what he needed from the man, it was growing apparent that he was now feeling the affects of what strong blood would do to a younger one. He found it harder and harder to let go of the man, only to be drinking harder as his breathing labored as he bit down harshly to freshen the blood flow. A dark craving now control his bloodlust as his fingers clinched harder into the wrist that he was feeding from. But it was something else deeper and under the surface, threads of a bond were starting to be braided together. Err... Kind of gotten carried away with this post. XD Just couldn't get my fingers to stop typing.
Envy
The moment he was latched onto him, Savain had to fight down the feeling of unease. He had never allowed another to drink from him since his sire was destroyed. It never felt good to him, to have his life in the hands of someone else entirely. Feeling vulnerable was one he hated most, and right now, with the way the little one was feeding from him that was the way he felt. Taking deeper breaths, he let the fledgling draw more, then more, and more until his heart began to beat so slowly he could feel the sleep of deprivation creeping up on him. Reaching for the back of the young ones neck, his long fingers gripped him tightly and pulled him back until his fangs came free of his flesh. It took a few extra moments for the punctures to heal because of blood loss, but he was still strong enough to handle the smaller male. He moved him off his lap, pressing him back into the mattress before he reached up beside the bed and pulled the red velvet rope hanging there. With a tired sigh, he leaned heavily on the pillows behind him. His pale gaze fell down to the fledgling beside him. He could feel the bond between them, a little taken aback how strongly he felt it. It was like a small ball at the very back of his skull. It wasn't unpleasant, just odd in its unfamiliarity. His hand splayed over the smaller ones chest, fingers tapping lightly on the silk of his shirt, “How do you feel now?” he asked him lowly, falling silent to await his answer. Nicholi
Nicholi had become lost in the feeling of what the strong blood from Savain was causing within himself. It felt as if time alone had stopped, He couldnt tell what was happening around him as he fed from the man. All that he knew was this dark craving that had been created within himself that demanded to be sated. So when fingers had managed to find their way into his hair and being tugged back that he let out a surprised whimper. His glassy icy eyes blinked as he was forced against the mattress only to have tears well up into his eyes with the pain that began to radiate through his body. But everything happened so quickly, at first the pain was becoming so unbarable that he had almost cried out to be put out of his misery. The blood he had taken from the man was fighting against his Sire's blood, in turn... causing him pain. Then everything stopped. Things felt odd to him now, strangly enough. A flinch was drawn from him when he became aware of the hand on his chest. He blinked a few times before moving his head to the side to turn his gaze to the man that was now laying beside of him. It took him a few short moments to find his voice with how his senses had grown. Or was it the fact of the blocks on his senses had been taken away? Had his now former Sire blocked some of the boy's instincts and senses that had left him in such a terrible state to begin with? "I... feel... sort of strange." He whispered softly. "Its like... everything has grown so much. I dont understand." His gaze flickered a little, maybe it was fear that shown for a short second. But it was a stange feeling that was overcoming his fears rather quickly. A calming feeling. Maybe it was just being so close to his new Sire that was comforting him. He was almost afraid to move away from the man now. Thats the reason why he found himself curling up to the man within a short moment. "... Master... Please teach me. And dont leave me." He whispered softly before his eyes closed for a long moment.
Envy
Savain was patient as he laid there beside the smaller male. He watched his features as he seemed to be struggling withing himself. It was a part of the process that he should have told him about, but it was brief from what he had heard others tell. Finally he looked to him, the small flinch making him frown slightly. His brow cleared when he received his answer, giving his head a small nod at his words, noting how his expression soon smoothed out right before he surled into him. He placed his hand on the others hip, “The no reason to fear my leaving Nicholi. You belong with me now. But we are not done yet.” he told him as he slowly pushed him back so he could see his face once again. “You will feed from me again after we have fed.” he said right as there was a knock on his door. It opened a moment later, Isabel poking her head inside for a moment before she stepped imside, opening the door wider to let in four other humans with her. She gave her master a small smile, “I figured if you were calling for more feedings, sending one wouldn't be enough.” she said to explain whu the rest of his host were filing into his room. The older vampire gave her a faint smile of his own as he sat up. Looking down on the fledgling, he motioned for him to sit up with him before he picked a small brown haired man with wide brown eyes to match. The host moved to the bed. “I know you might not feel hungry, but my blood will not last as sustenance and you need to replenish what you have lost from earlier.” he explained to the younger vampire as he took a hold of the humans arm, upturning his wrist in an offer to the fledgling. Nicholi
Nicholi raised a thin brow when he heard the man. It wasnt finished yet? What else was there to do. He was confused and it shown on his face when he was pushed back against the bed. But hearing the man once again before he heard the knock on the door of the room. Yet it was the thought of feeding from human's again that had his stomach churning. Biting back what he wanted to say, the desire to refuse to feed from human's. He didnt feel he had the right to say anything against this man. His gaze darted towards the door when it had been opened only to watch the people flooding into the room. He pushed himself up so that he was sitting on the bed. Hearing Savian, he had to turn his gaze away from them all. It was a deep pain within himself that he could never overcome. His birthmark had began to become a rather large pain for him, and it was glowing even brighter than before. This time he actually paid attention to it and rubbed at the annoying pain. But when he lowered his gaze to the shirt covering it that is were confusion and fear gripped at him. He didnt know why it was glowing and all of a sudden the pain was to great for him to ignore. He turned his fearful eyes to his Sire. "I... I cant..." He whimpered out before turning his gaze back to his birthmark. "Why... Why is it glowing so much now? I do not understand." He said softly as he rubbed at the mark, but it only caused him to wince even more with a soft whimper. Unknowing to him, his life was about to change even moreso than what had already had happened to him. Only those of old would remember the story well of what was named... The DragonSlayer. The legend behind the great DragonSlayer had been passed on through the years, but it seemed over time that the legend was nothing more than a hopeful tale for younger fledglings that their Sire's had told them. Some of the older vampyre had hoped themselves that such a creature would surface at some point. Others... had lost that hope when they turned closer to the darkness within their beings. But the DragonSlayer is the one that is able to pull those of the darkness into the light. A creature that has managed to hold onto his human heart. But as for his life before this of the dark, being turned in such horrid conditions. He would be left alone in this dark life only to be found by one that would take him in, nurture him, and teach him the ways of the vampyre. The DragonSlayer will awaken when the time comes, when he is reclaimed by the one whom takes him in. The creature will be unable to bring himself to harm a innocent being. But when great danger arrives to the very race of the vampyre, the DragonSlayer will be the one to save their race from their fate. He must never take the life of another during feeding for the risk of loosing his human heart. The heart alone is the greatest gift within a creature such as himself. He is not of the dark... but of the light. Like a vampyre... but more of a dark angel. Nicholi's gaze flickered as the feeling grew even more within himself. "Master... Whats happening to me?" He whimpered out softly. The dragon like birthmark, the very symbol of the DragonSlayer, curled down his hip and the tale curled around the base of his cock. But it was glowing a fierce red color. Envy
The fledglings reaction made the older vampire frown lightly, but his rubbing at his hip had him noticing something he should have sooner. His frown deepening, he let the human he had a hold of go before he was reaching out to to get a look at what the hell was happening with the younger one. His question about what was happening to him was a mystery to Savain. He removed the others hands and lifted the shirt from the place he had been rubbing at in agitation. Seeing the glowing mark he was even more confused. He had never seen any mark react like this before. Looking over his shoulder at the humans his pale gaze fell on Isabel, “Summon Tieve.” he looked to the others, “The rest of you wait in the hall.” he ordered before he turned back to Nicholi. Once his bedroom door closed he lifted the shirt once again, “I'm not sure what is happening.” he finally answered lowly as he studied the mark as if it would somehow tell him its secrets. Moving his eyes up to the younger one, he raised a brow lightly “How did you receive this mark?” he asked him. To him it looked as if it had to have been natural, but than again, maybe not since he had never seen any mark other than a magical one react this way. Nicholi
Nicholi let a soft whimper leave his lips. The mark was now causing him so much pain that he flinched at any touch to him. It had to be the fact that Savain's blood that had caused the locks on his powers to be unlocked. Allowing Nicholi to fully access his instincts, and his vampiric powers even more now. Which was frightening if not guided correctly. His gaze flickered with slight fear when his shirt was being pulled up and away from the head of the dragon's birthmark. But it wasn't fear for Savain. It was fear for the fact of pain. His father (unknowing to Nicholi) had been of a powerful blood line of vampires. One of the ancients. The man had fallen in love with a mortal, and thus... Nicholi was born. However, Nicholi had only been human. It was rare for a child to be born of a mortal and vampire, and be completely human. But still... it had happened. His father had the same birthmark but on another part of his body. His father.. had been the last Dragon Slayer. Back then, the vampire that had been called a dragon slayer wasn't all that uncommon. But now... one had not been seen in over a hundred years. No one knew where his father had gone off to, or if he were still alive to this day. Nicholi's gaze flickered when he heard the man speak. "... I've had it, since birth. I was told by my mother that my father also had the same mark. But his had been on his wrist." He said with a slight wince when the mark flared up once again. Envy
Savain listened as the younger vampire answered his question. So it was a natural mark. His father had the same type of marking. The older vampire let the shirt down as he thought on what he was told. He was confused. From what he gathered this has never happened to the fledgling before now, so asking him for more information was pointless. He let the shirt drop when he heard foot falls growing closer to his door. Sitting up he turned towards the door, his legs going over the side just as the door swung open. Tieve was a dark-haired woman, with skin the color of cinnamon. Her willowy frame was just as tall as Savain with long and graceful limbs. She moved into the room with an otherworldly fluidity as she approached the younger Savain, her liquid amber eyes moved from the blond to the smaller figure on his bed before they moved back. “You called for me?” she asked stopped just before the blond vampire, her accented voice smooth and calm. Savain gave a nod of his head and reached over to Nicholi and wrapping his arm under his arms he pulled him over to himself easily until he was lying partially in his lap. After he moved the shirt so the dark skinned woman could see the others hip. Tieve's eyes went to the motion, and what she saw made her already wide eyes widen even more. Taking a step closer, her eyes traced the glowing mark before she looked to the younger ones face, and her features softened just a little, “I see.” she said lowly. The blond quirked a brow at his elder. The way she was looking at Nicholi let him know she knew something of what was happening. He was patient however and when she looked to him next she gave him a tentative smile. “You remember a time Savain, when I spoke of a legend about the Dragon-slayer. What was the way to identify them?” she said and fell silent watching the blond one. Savain had given her a nod of his head when she asked him about his remembering the story, and his brow furrowed when she asked the last question. He thought back, but the answer was apparent and he didn't have to. The confusion cleared from his face as he met the elders eyes. She gave a nod of her head as if he had asked a question when he had not, but it told him exactly what he needed to know. Looking down at Nicholi, he couldn't help but feel a little on edge. He was in the possession of the one that was suppose to save them all, and he was lead this young one, teach him, care for him. It almost made him wish he hadn't already claimed him, to push him at Tieve and tell her to take him. She was older, and well more experienced then he was. But he couldn't. He had already made the commitment, and he had promised that he wouldn't abandon the young one, and he always kept his promises. That didn't mean he didn't feel a little apprehensive. Tieve had been watching him, and though he was blocking his thoughts, she seemed to know exactly what he was thinking. Her smoothed skinned hand came up and landed on his shoulder, “Trust yourself Savain. He needs you much more than you are aware.” she told him, as if that made any of this better. Looking to Nicholi, she gave him a soft smile, “Your sire is a little overwhelmed at the moment. My name is Tieve. Tell me young one, did your farther carry the same mark?” she asked. Nicholi
Nicholi's hand went back to the mark on his hip and rubbed at it. It was clearly causing him some distress and it didnt seem to be letting up any time soon. His gaze flickered when he looked at his Sire. As if expecting him to be able to answer to why it was hurting him so much. In fact... it was the man's blood that was fighting off what little bit of blood of his former Sire. The mark itself was glowing a bright red, showing that the last bit of his former Sire's blood was concentrated in that one area. His gaze darted when he heard the door being opened after his Sire had moved to a sitting position on the side of the bed. He wanted to get a better look at whom had come into the room. But with his mark burning and the fear of being taken away for some unknown reason, he stayed where he was. Hoping that his Sire would hide him away if need be. It was when he was pulled up against his Sire and forced to lay somewhat onto the man's lap that he let a small frightened whimper to leave his lips. His fingers clinched at Savian's arm as soon as the man had moved to lift his shirt. Nicholi's flickering gaze darted up to the man while his body started to tremble on its own. Was... Was Savian pushing him off to someone else? He wasnt so sure anymore. He had trusted this man... Savian had given him a promise that he would always be by his side and never let anyone take him away. He wanted to dig himself deeper into the bed to get away from anyone whom might try to overpower him. His gaze darted to the woman as soon as she began to speak of a Dragon slayer. Confusion settled onto his face. He didnt know anything about what they were talking about. Minutes seem to tick by while they stayed silent. The more they were like this, the antsier he became. He stilled when he was being spoken to, turning his gaze to the woman once more. Hearing that his Sire was having a hard time understanding something. But it was the question being directed to himself. He sat up on the bed, and seemed to be hiding himself into his Sire's side. "Yes... His was on his wrist." He said softly. "Or thats what I was told by my mother." He whispered. He paused for a long moment to look at his Sire, then back to the woman. "I... dont understand. Whats a Dragon-slayer?" He asked. Feeling quite out of his depth at that very moment.
Envy
Savain looked down to the young one clinging to him. Inwardly he sighed to himself. A fabled creature or not, Nicholi was his responsibility from now on. Like Tieve said, he had to trust in himself. He looked to Tieve and gave his head a small shake. “Not tonight. I think he's had enough to take in for now.” he told her. “Is there anything to be done about this mark causing his pain?” Though the female was the oldest in the room, and as a elder she outranked Savain, she respectfully inclined her head to his request. The fledgling was his, and whatever he said concerning him was final. “Unfortunately no. I would assume it will pass soon enough.” looking back to the younger one she gave him a smile. “I will have answers for you tomorrow, right now, I must go.” she told him, looking to Savain she gave him a pat on the shoulder before she left the room as quietly as she came, closing the door behind herself. Once she was gone, Savain looked back down at his fledgling, “Is it still hurting you?” he asked, looking at the mark again.
Nicholi
Nicholi's gaze flickered lightly and the look on his face seemed to give off the feeling that he was demanding the answer to the question he had just asked. However, it was when Savian spoke that he lowered his gaze to the bed. So he wouldn't be allowed to know what this creature was? Even if he was suposta be one of them? Hearing that there was nothing they could do about the mark on his side, but even now he wasn't feeling the effects as badly. When she spoke once again, he nodded. But disappointment shown on his face for a short moment. It took him a few minutes before his gaze turned to Savain when he asked if it was still hurting him. "It is, But not as bad now. It flairs up enough to where I cant handle it. Then at times like this, its not so bad. More of an annoying itch that I cant relieve." He whispered as his gaze lowered once more. The question still burned into his mind. He wanted to know what this... Dragon-Slayer was all about. If he was one of those legendary people, shouldn't he had the right to know what was ahead of him? "... Master..." He whispered softly. "What's going to happen to me now? I'm scared, I don't want to lose you." He whimpered and curled up. "I feel like I am going to be taken away now, just because both of you called me a Dragon-Slayer. I don't understand. Is being a Dragon-Slayer a bad thing?" He asked as he turned his gaze to Savain. Envy
Savain listened as he was answered. He gave a nod of his head before his eyes went to the mark hidden under the shirt the younger one was wearing. The sound of the others voice brought him out of his blank musing, his head turning enough to look directly at the others face as he spoke. When his eyes looked up to him, he met them silently for a moment before he pulled the younger vampire up off his side, maneuvering him onto his lap so he was straddling him once again. Dropping his hands on hi shoulders he looked in the eyes, his features serious. “No one is going to take you away.” he reassured him, his tone a little softer then normal, “The only way they will is if you can not control yourself and you hurt someone. Intentionally or unintentionally. You have to make sure you listen to me. Even if you do not agree with me.” he made sure these words were stressed upon. “Once the others find out what we have been told, you will gain a lot of attention, not all of it will be the good kind. I can not protect you if you are going to be disobedient or difficult. I will do my best to protect you, but you will have to help me, understand?” He paused as he let those words sink in. “As for it being a bad thing... I do not know. I don't know what will happen, I do not know how it will effect the others really. I don't know anything for certain. I do know you are... special among our kind, and for that, not everything will be easy. Just... remember, listen, obey, and do nothing to bring harm to anyone. For now, that will be all I ask of you. Tomorrow, we will seek more answers, alright?”
Nicholi
Nicholi sat there, he was confused. But he didn't have much of a choice here. Being pulled onto the man's lap, he straddled him. Lifting his gaze, he listened to the man for a long moment. He felt better that he wasn't going to be taken away. But then again, if he did something to harm another being within this place... then he would be. A soft whimper left himself as his gaze lowered. "But..." He whispered softly. "What if its an accident? Master, you know I cant control my gifts very well." He whimpered out. He had a great deal of fear over his gifts, and it hindered him quite a lot. He refused to learn the control necessary to his gifts, afraid that they would become out of his control and that he would harm another person. His frightened gaze turned to Savian once more when he heard that he would be taken away even if he unintentionally hurt someone from within the coven. His body trembled on the man's lap as tears welled up into his eyes. But hearing that there was some people out there that wouldn't be happy about what he was, his fingers clinched tightly into tight fists. But hearing the request from the man. He lowered his gaze in simi defeat. This was his Sire after all. He had no right to go against the man now. He gave a small nod as he was being asked if he understood. But hearing that the man didn't know if this was a bad thing or not, it had him curling up on the man's lap and trembling. He didn't want anything bad happening to him any more. That was the main reason why Savian reclaimed him as his own, wasn't it? "I... I will do my best." He whimpered softly.
Envy
His answer was all Savain could ask for really, and he hoped he got the seriousness of the situation. He made the fledgling look up so they were looking at one another, “Tomorrow, after we wake, we will seek answers, and began your training to better control your ability. The first step is to let go of fear Nicholi. That is something you can start doing right now. When you speak with me, look me in the eyes, I want to see them locked with mine, no matter what we are speaking about. You are not to look down again. Speak up when you talk. Be it to me or someone else. Don't cower. You have to get a grip, and it starts with these steps.” “Fear will only hold you back. I'm not saying be stupid and don't listen to your instincts, but you have to start somewhere.” he told him firmly. Letting him have a moment, he waited before he asked, “Now, repeat to me what I just said.”
Nicholi
Nicholi's gaze flickered as his chin was forced up to look at the man. Listening to what the man had to say. He didnt like waiting for answers, since it was him they were talking about in the first place. But he listened to the words being spoken to him. Nodding after a long moment. However, when he was told to repeat what the man said. He had to kept from forcing his gaze away from the man. It was a bad habit he had. Since it had been beaten into him by his former Sire, to never lift his gaze to anyone when he spoke. But he tried to do as the man said. "I have to make sure to look up when speaking to you or anyone. And I have to speak up and not sound as if I fear everything." He said. "I will try my best, Master. I was told by... him, that I was not to look up when speaking. But I will try to break that habit." He said clearly. He paused for a long moment, as if unsure of what else to say about the situation since he felt that he was unable to ask any questions about what he was. At least not until tomorrow. Lowering his gaze to his hands for a long moment as if thinking about something before he lifted his gaze back to the man. At first it seemed that he had gotten himself into a trance as he stared at the man's eyes. It was then that he realized the bond between the two of them, it was playing in the back of his mind. And then it was the emotions that he could feel that had him flinching. A gasp left his lips as he shifted on the man's lap. "H-how is that possible?" He asked. Envy
Savain brow rose slightly at the gasp and words that left the fledgling. Then he realized what he must be talking about. He looked down to the others hands before he took one of them in his own, pulling up off his lap. “What you are feeling, it's the bond between sire and fledgling.” he said as he flattened out his hand gently, “My emotions will become clearer to you as the bond becomes stronger. I will be able to feel you wherever you go, I will be able to summon you to my side. My word will be law above everyone. It will also allow me to help you.” Looking to Nicholi, he told him to look at him and locked gazes, “You will be able to fed off my strength, and use it as your own. You can call out to me when you need me. When you're afraid, just reach out and you can use me as your anchor. We can read one another thoughts, and you can speak to me. There's much more to it as well.” he said before his other hand took a hold of the younger ones wrist. Using one hand, he traced over his skin faintly, only enough to cause a shiver on the younger ones flesh. He let that feeling echo through himself as well knowing his fledgling would feel it too. “We can even share one another' pleasures and pain.” he added before he let his finger fall still. He had shared these things with his own sire. It had been so long since that time that he had felt this closeness. It was like breathing air into a long forgotten part of himself, a part of himself that he had secretly missed. “Try it. Show me what you are feeling right now.”
Nicholi
Nicholi listened to the man, trying to understand what his said about the bond. He tilted his head a bit when he talked about emotions and what he would be able to do. After a long moment he tried to understand what the man meant by "sharing one another' pleasures and pain". But for now he figured it wasn't exactly necessary at the moment to completely understand what the man meant by that. He was still somewhat confused. Maybe it had been the blocks that his former Sire had placed upon him when he was turned that had caused him to be so confused and un-use to the new feelings. But he raised a brow when he was told to try it out. At first he wasn't so sure of how to go about doing such a thing. After all, he had not been taught how to use such a thing before. He lowered his gaze for a moment and tried to concentrate on what he felt at that moment. Emotions battled with each other as he tried to figure out what was his emotions verses what he was feeling off of his Sire. Then anger slowly bubbled up from under all of it all. It was anger at what his former Sire had done to him. But it was also a deep hatred that one could leave a frightened fledgling and only watch as he suffered till death. Fingers clinched tightly as he tried to control the emotion himself only to find it becoming out of his grasp. "I... I can not bare what he has done to me..." He murmured. He had to push himself off of the bed only to fall onto his knee's. It seemed that after he had been reclaimed as this man's, he was going to have to learn from the beginning all over again. Fire began to engulf his hands, and he kept them away from everything so that he wouldn't burn anything in the room. He had been able to manage to keep the flames from rampaging all over his body and concealed it only on his hand. "D-don't touch me... I don't... want to hurt you." He whimpered out. His flickering gaze lifted to his Sire. "I... I can not control it."
Envy
After he spoke, Savain watched he fledgling as he seemed to be searching himself. He was patient as he could feel the others confusion, then the anger that surfaced right before the young one declared he hated what had been done to him. He watched as he climbed from the bed hurriedly, falling to his knees in his haste, though it was the sight of the flames around his hands that had the older vampire moving a bit faster when he sat up and threw his legs over the bedside. Slipping from the bed, he ignored the younger ones warning, he walked around to face him, and crouched down to him, his gaze locked on the others when he looked to him. “Nicholi, you do have control.” he said calmly, “Look at your hands. Only they are on fire. You are obviously doing that otherwise it would have been all over your body and burning everything around us. Fire can be tamed if you try. Don't say you can't, it's your gift, you have dominion over it, not the other way around. Remember, no fear is the first step. Calm yourself, let go of the fear of it, and will it to do as you want. You have to believe in yourself before it will listen to you. I'm not going anywhere, so either try, or burn me.”
Nicholi
Nicholi flinched by the time Savain had joined him on the floor, though his gaze couldn't be torn away when the man had made it seem so. His gaze flickered lightly with a fear that almost made the color of his eyes swirl, yet at the same time... it was still just an icy blue color. The words that were spoken, reached his ears in a soothing sort of way. It was a strange thing for him to be spoken to like that. He had only been use to being yelled or screamed at. Let along anger was always used against him, even as a human. He had been the outlet for most peoples anger. He tried to focus on his Sire and tried to stop his emotions from going to wild. After all, he didn't have but just this little amount of control just to keep from burning down the whole room. His gaze lowered to his hands when they had been brought attention. "But I..." He whimpered out and turned his frightened gaze to his Sire once more before letting it drop back to his hands. He didn't want to hurt this man, after all this was the person that had kept him from being killed. He closed his eyes and tried to concentrate on what he felt once again. But it was nothing more than a shadowy thought playing around in the back of his mind that was encouraging him to see past his own anger to get his own resolve. It had taken him a few long moments before the flames around his hands flickered out. But he had managed to calm himself down... or had it been Savain that had managed to calm him down without the youngling even realizing it? His eyes opened and turned to his Sire. Fear no longer in his eyes, but it was a sadness that had replaced it. "Please... forgive me?" He whispered softly. "I just... I am trying. Its just my emotions, they get in the way. Sometimes I feel like I cant do anything right at all."
Envy
Savain sat silently as the younger vampire seemed to take his advice and try to calm himself. Yes, he was taking a big risk in getting burned and suffering a horrible death or years of pain if he survived, but he wasn't going to leave the fledglings side. He had to show him he trusted him before the young one could begin to trust himself. When the flames flickered out, he was relieved and he was glad hat the other had done so well. When he looked to him again and whispered those words, Savain let his features soften before he placed a cool hand on the fledglings head as he met his eyes, “You did well Nicholi.” he praised sincerely, “Be proud of yourself. I'm proud you learned so quickly. The trick is to feel but not to let it provoke an flare up. When you feel it coming, calm yourself, sooth your emotions until you gain better control.” He brushed his hair back gently, letting his fingers to run through the strands soothingly, “You will learn in time, you're not perfect, but that's fine. No one is. But be happy with every small step you take.” he told him before his hand dropped away. Taking his hands and stood up helping the younger one up to his feet, he lead him back to the bed sitting him down before he sat beside him. It was.. odd to feel so close to someone after so long, to have someone looking to him for guidance who was connected to him by blood was something he would have to get use to. “Are you ready to feed now?” he asked him, looking to him for an answer. Nicholi
Nicholi's gaze turned to his Sire when a hand had been placed on his head. But at those words that were spoken to him, he didn't feel like he had been the one that had caused the flames to stop. But he listened to the man anyways, trying to understand what he had to do in order not to loose control over his gift. He nodded after a long moment. His eyes were drifting closed a little when the man's fingers combed through his hair a little. "I am trying, I really am. I just... am not use to it, I guess." He whispered softly. He shifted himself a little before he was helped up onto his feet and over to the bed. Sitting back on the bed, he turned his gaze back to his Sire when he heard the question. He didn't feel like he had the strength to be able to pull himself away if he did try to feed from someone. He lowered his gaze for a long moment. "What... if I am unable to stop myself?" He asked softly when he looked back at his Sire. "I am not sure I can stop myself." He whispered.
