StainedCrimson
Michaelis suddenly turns to get off the road. While he's sure there's nothing preventing them from entering through the front of the town, any experience of doing so has led to poor results. Even if they are the ones charged with the mission in regards to the seals, there's no saying that a welcome would be warm or any different than before they'd been charged with the task. And so he heads to quieter area to enter so that their presence won't be as quickly noticed. "There's a small unused cabin on the outskirts of the town that I've been allowed use of when I've been here before. Provided no one has since moved in during the time I've been away we can use it tonight so we have beds and a roof." He says softly while they approach a few houses and soon slip into the streets of the town. He'd brought them in near the bar and edge of the market area so them being in cloaks or wandering around isn't looked at too closely or noted. Kotorichan
Enias stuck close to the other two. He wasn't sure how friendly the people of the town would be to strangers wandering around. So he kept quiet and ready for anything. He wondered if anyone in this town knew anything about the seals. A lot of people probably didn't know anything, but he hoped that there would be at least one person that could help them find some kind of lead. Pokewriter1
A soft sigh escaped Ares lips as he followed the two. He pulled his jacket in closer again. He looked down some, not even sure if he would sleep in a bed right now. He was sure that they were not going to hurt him, yes, but he didn't fully trust them just yet either for that matter. Getting closer to them as they walked, he glanced around. He didn't look to easy about being here, then again he wasn't easy around any town. Towns could look friendly but he knew from experience that they weren't always that way when you got to know the people there. He was at least glad that where they were at the moment, they didn't look strange. They wouldn't easily be spotted or called out. And that relieved him, he didn't feel like talking to anyone at least for now.
StainedCrimson
Michaelis slows and pauses before slowly and reluctantly enters a tavern. The noise and bustle of the patrons drinking, eating and talking envelope them. Carefully he makes his way to a quieter end of the bar to sit down and wait for the bar tender to come over and take their orders. Settling down he looks across the bar. "I figure this is our best place to try to find out about the seals without making people too upset. Especially if we wait for them to imbibe on some alcohol first to let them relax and loosen their tongues. If here doesn't work then maybe try the market tomorrow." Kotorichan
Enias frowned and looked around at the bar. He sat down next to the others and sighed softly. "I suppose that makes sense... At this point anything would be helpful..." He watched all the people drinking. It didn't seem likely that any of these people would have any good information. But he could hope that someone would have a clue at the very least. Enias turned back to the others. "Should we split up for a bit? That might make it easier to talk to more people in less time" he suggested.
Pokewriter1
Ares slowly and carefully sat down as well. He wasn't to sure about this but he wasn't going to leave them to it. He looked up at Enias' question and then he shook his head. "I suggest not for tonight..." He said slowly then. "It would be better tomorrow." He said carefully, choosing his words. He wasn't sure what they would think of his comment. But from how these people looked it might be best not to split up with more people coming out to drink at night. Even if they could hold their own, attacking someone might be a little dangerous since they just got into town.
StainedCrimson
Looking down at the bar for a few moments he finally speaks after thinking over both of his companions' suggestions. "One of us can go mingle with the people to see if anything can be overheard or teased out of someone. The other two will stay here so we don't more unwanted attention to ourselves or risk offending the locals." He says softly before looking towards Enias. "Would you rather stay here or shall I?" Since Ares voiced the suggestion to stay at the bar and not split up, he takes that to mean that he'd be unwilling to go out alone in the crowd and so turns to the one who suggested splitting up.
